A lot of you disagreed with me (vehemently) about how great Jennifer Aniston looked several nights ago at the Elle Magazine “Women In Hollywood” event. She wore this great silver-grey Kaufmanfranco dress that I STILL love, so eat it. I rarely get gushy about what Aniston wears, but I really did love this dress. However, I failed to mention why Aniston was there – she was being honored with some kind of award, and Reese Witherspoon was the one to “honor” her (photos of Aniston & Reese here). Reese got extremely gushy, and some parts of her speech were kind of uncomfortable:
“You just want to get your nails done with her, and you want to make out with her at the same time . . . at least I do! First we get our nails done, then we make out! It’s totally awesome. That’s because she’s MY friend, not yours!” Reese said.
She revealed how she first bonded with Jen, 42, when she made a guest appearance in Friends as her on-screen little sister back in 1999.
“I just had a baby [daughter Ava, now 12] and I could not stop watching Friends. I was super duper excited y’all! In all my enthusiasm, I completely forgot something crucial…I had never been on television in front of a live audience ever in my entire life. And I panicked! I totally froze! I couldn’t remember my lines and the writers were yelling … I just stood there absolutely completely frozen. Then Jen came to the rescue, asking ‘Hey, are you okay? You’re kind of freaking me out!’ [She said], ‘You’re going to make a mistake and you’re going to flip your line and whatever – and the audience is going to love it. Don’t try to be perfect, just try to be yourself’. That’s the story that sort of captured Jen the best for me. On one hand, she is this gorgeous breathtaking beauty that men lose their thought process and their speech patterns [over]. And, on the other hand, she is a woman who lets you in.”

So on a night about women getting empowered in Hollywood, Reese Witherspoon makes a “joke” about being a lesbian with Jennifer Aniston. Because that’s so hilarious. Also, Aniston‘s acting advice is “Don’t try to be perfect, just try to be yourself”? That speaks volumes.

Jennifer Aniston has attempted to shed her squeaky clean image by insisting she has a crude sense of humour and likes to swear regularly. The Hollywood actress, currently dating screenwriter Justin Theroux, told OK Magazine she’s not as well behaved as people make out.
The former ‘Friends’ star explained, “I’m not rude in front of people that I don’t know, but I tell a dirty joke now and then – I’m not squeaky clean”.
The actress also discussed her penchant for swearing, saying, “I would have to say f*ck is my favourite curse word. That’s a pretty good word”.
The actress, now 42, says she’s happier than ever and is learning to accept herself after a string of failed romances with the likes of Vince Vaughn and John Mayer saying, “I think getting older you get more comfortable in your body, in your skin, who you are. And you feel you have more of a ‘f*ck it’ attitude. I’ve learnt that none of it really matters as long as you’re enjoying yourself and having a really good time”.

I don’t believe Aniston is squeaky clean. I believe she can tell a dirty joke and get hammered and smoke a bong and do some lines and that most of the time, she just cares about getting a refill and getting laid. It’s her fan base that thinks she’s the virginal good-girl who only wants true love and babies. It’s interesting that she’s trying to shake that image, right?

To be fair, I don’t get the need for name-calling regarding Aniston’s face (though I am puzzled by people describing her as the hottest stuff out there).

In fact, the moral gymnastics they do to justify anything and everything Aniston says or does that is less than savoury (such as her stealing another woman’s man ie Justin), is astounding. They have answers for everything and even when confronted with actual truth and proof, they keep repeating and repeating their lies ad nauseam not responding to and ignoring evidence. They move the goal posts. Her destroying Heidi’s life and her soul was ok because ‘well, Heidi and Justin weren’t married and obviously if Justin didn’t want to marry her its fair game and Heidi’s fault’. Someone even created the nic HeidiBitchy on one Aniston thread. Other Aniston fans tried to blame Heidi by saying she obviously didn’t get the message it was over and she was probably stalking Justin and it was her fault – despite her sharing a HOME with Justin!! Now THAT, all of the above, shows and proves that many Aniston fans are so unhinged and so desperate to believe in the Golden Girl image that they perform moral gymnastics and goal-post changing to excuse in Aniston what they condemned in Jolie. Angelina fans accept Angelina as she is. Aniston fans hold Aniston up as an Angel; the Virgin Mary incarnated who is a saint and nothing she ever does is ever wrong and if it is, her fans would rather die than admit it. That, is “Team Aniston” in a nutshell, and why they have the wacky, unhinged and role-colored glass-wearing brainwashed lovesick reputation they have. Aniston’s fans are more deranged and obsessed than Charles Manson fans. Her fans truly frighten me.

Cheyenne: I think the point is that she comes off as fun to be around. Naturally we all have no idea what she is like in private but to me her fun, silly, happy-go-lucky attitude is far more appealing than women who think they have to be serious once they reach a certain age. Goldie Hawn, for instance, looks like she’s a blast to hang out with and she’s in her 60s. Diane Keaton is kinda floopy and silly in her movies-she’s doing romcoms in her 60s as well. I like women who realize that life doesn’t end at 40. That they can have a good time and can be fluff balls if that is their personality.
Oh and both Diane Keaton and Goldie Hawn are CUTE.

Just what Manhattan said we all get our hair done, like to go on hols and sit in the sun, have a few drinks how does that make me vapid as you put it.
I remember looking at a documentary done on the sadly deceased Jeff Buckley and Brad was in it. He said he had never heard of Jeff Buckley’s music until his wife (then JA)had played it. I remember being surprised that Brad had not heard of him before.
Now anyone who rates Jeff Buckley’s music in my book has a fairly well developed sense of culture albeit it music.

Just recently I came across a Jolie-hater group on facebook and a Jen fan posted that she could kill Angelina for what (she says) she did to Aniston. A fellow Aniston fan agreed, but said killing Angelina would go to far. The other fan posted and said she was serious and that she would kill Angelina anywhere and any way possible. Aniston fans have made death threats against Angelina and her children. One crazed fan in a restaurant in Germany (when Angelina was pregnant with Shiloh) wearing a Team Aniston shirt tried to approach Angelina and kick her. She said later she wanted to kill the unborn baby, so Jen and Brad would get back together. Another said (about the film Angelina is directing, which incidently, had nothing to do with a rape story) that they wish for Angelina to be savagely raped, but also AND HER CHILDREN TOO!
On various sites Aniston fans have wished for; Shiloh (who some Aniston fans call ‘Shitloh’ – yeah, thats right; AN INNOCENT CHILD) to born with Down Syndrome, for Shiloh to die in miscarriage, Angelina to die of a ruptured uterus and bleed to death, her to kill herself and her unborn twins in a plane crash she is piloting, that Zahara dies of AIDS, that Angelina dies a slow painfull terrible death like her mother did (from cancer)..
Do you really want me to go on? Because there is more. You clearly are completely blissfully ignorant of how dangerous and full of hate some Aniston fans are. You haven’t heard any of this, have you? You wouldn’t believe it, but every one of the above is true. Oops, forgot some Aniston fans on a certain board have not only rang child services on Angelina (god knows what for – for merely existing, and being a mother?), but they believe she is running a child prostitution and slavery ring.
Seriously, THIS is the reason why I think a lot of her fans are like Manson followers and are very dangerous, deeply disturbed and deranged. To hate Angelina with so much intense hatred and passion (when she did not do one thing to Aniston) is scary enough. But when a fan tries to kill Brad and Angelina’s unborn child so her Brad would go back to Jen, when they call children names, oh, including all the racist names the adopted children have been called by them (I will spare you the names), hoping children die agonising deaths etc, that WAY crosses the line of psychological stability, don’t you think? Many of her fans present as Psychopaths and Sociopaths. The fact that deeply disturbed, unhinged and very very sick people like that are her fans makes one frightened. A great deal. Its a cult-like mentality and demonstrates, all too clearly, the type of people Aniston attracts.

There are hate sites about both of them I would imagine. I haven’t gone on the hunt for hate sites about Aniston because that’s weird. Maybe I’ll go looking around and report back what I find. Or not. My life, fortunately, does not revolve around someone who I’m not a big fan of.

And in your desperation to attempt to discredit the truth, you rushed to make ASSumptions. I came across it by accident; reading an article on Jolie which had a facebook link, which had comments which had links to groups etc you know how it goes. The difference is that Jen has been ‘milking’ her break-up with Brad for 7 years, and his “Parade” article was the first time that Brad has come remotely close to discussing his marriage. More over, Brad was talking about his state of mind before and during his ‘marriage’ to Jen–not Jen herself. He was talking about himself. Isn’t he allowed to do that either?
The Jen-Hens have set up a lot of rules for Brad and Angie. Brad can never, ever talk about his love for Angie because doing so hurts Jen and rubs her nose in it. Brad can never, ever talk about his love for his children because when he does he’s being mean to Jen (because she wouldn’t have his children) and rubbing her nose in it.
Angie only gets pregnant to hurt Jen and rub her nose in it. Angie can never, ever talk about her love for Brad and their kids because it hurts Jen and rubs her nose in it.

BTW, what are these various sites you’re talking about? The only Jolie hate posts I’ve seen in any real numbers have been on a discussion board in an out-of-the-way area on Female First. Of course, I’m not obsessed with her do I don’t know of every site that people hate her on.

I think that she is an average actress who did the best she could with her mediocre talent and from the way she was humiliated by being dumped by Pitt for the beautiful Jolie (just the face and not the scary skinny body)in front of the whole world.
She was smartly advised or is a good business women (I don’t know which) to use the embarrassment to make rom-coms and made a lot of money.
I think that Jolie is more talented, has a stunningly gorgeus face, not the body and seems to have some depth.
I feel bad for Aniston to be compared to Jolie, because Aniston can’t be faulted for the unattractive mascular face she was born with, but she has a great body, which is a bonus for sure.
@lakelouise while i agree with most of what you said, angelina’s body was better in the mid 2000’s too. after her mother passed she lost a lot of weight, which happens to many women under great distress 🙁 some rabid haters accused her of being a heroin addict and anorexic, which are also tragic circumstances no matter who gets caught in them, but it was the grief she went through at the time so it gets sadder. also, aniston was not born with a masculine unattractive face. maybe you could google her youth photos and find out that while she did have a barbra streisand nose (who is not an ugly woman either) she looked way better before all the plastic surgery, botox, tanning, fake hair and contact lenses and such. she’s had no less than 3 nose jobs, a chin trim, and almost everything about her is fake, like her supposed hilarious comedian status. she seems to want to turn herself into the exact opposite of herself, an antithesis if you will, and i guess she must have a lot of self hatred which is also sad. however, all the plastic surgery only made her look worse than she did to begin with, and having no acting talent and acting immature/emulating jolie all the time will not do her any favours.
@luckypuppy i would not sell my self respect and dignity in any way. a lot of people would do things they didn’t want to if they were starving, like stealing for instance. but if they weren’t starving then why would they steal? only a low life would do that. you think most people would do that, well even in celebrity land sandra bullock didn’t go on tv crying about how that sleaze jesse james done her wrong. shania twain didn’t wax poetic when the man she gave her best years to, left her for her best friend no less! she moved on, she didn’t want the pity of people she doesn’t know. she didn’t try to make profit off her personal life’s drama. there are other examples too and believe it or not, there are people out there who wouldn’t sell their dignity for a couple of extra bucks. *eyeroll*

Lots of perks besides the huge paydays go with being celebrity, but there is also some level of responsibility to the public.
She has a truly classic, beautiful, stunning face and hair, she seems talented, intelligent, kind hearted and a loving mom and a humanitarian.
Why not gain weight, so she doesn’t look all skin and bones with veins popping up all over.
I’ve always been thin with long limbs, but even I can see that there is such a thing as TOO THIN. I don’t know what Aniston had done to her face, but I can just imagine the pressure in Hollywood.
The quest for perfection is crazy.
Millions od women color their hair and wear contact lenses, so I’m not going after her for that, but her skin looks damaged from too much sun.
I always found Aniston’s face oddly shaped and I think you are right about her being insecure about her looks, she seems to hide behind her hair a lot.
I’ve read that her mom always pointed out her flaws.

The difference is that Sandra Bullock was an Oscar winning actress and even before that she was very succesfull in film.She didn’t have to sell her story.
Aniston was a well known TV actress from Friends where she actually did a good job and had a good comedic timing.
She wanted to break into film,but her talent is weak and comes off better on TV.Most of her movie characters that I’ve seen are variations on her Rachel character from Friends.
That’s why she milked her break-up with Pitt.
I disagree with you on Shania Twain.She used her divorce to go on Oprah and got a deal from her for her own TV show on OWN.Twain also wrote a book about her marriage and break-up and did several interviews in Europe about the deceit her husband put her through.
If,I would have been in Aniston’s position with her meager acting talent,lack of beautiful face and great body in midst of one of the biggest love triangles in the celebrity world,I would have milked it too for millions of dollars.
And I have a double master’s degree,well paying job and I’m in a happy marriage with well educated and well paid husband.
Sex and scandal sells and pays well.

Aniston knew that she will be in tabloids either way,so she used it.

@lakelouise i think what happened is that she couldn’t gain the weight back, she was always busy 6 kids-movies-charity work and travels. and she sees a lot of emaciated people, if that does not make one feel guilty for eating i don’t know what does. and seeing those people suffer, right in front of your eyes… that would cause one to be under distress very often. anyway and jennifer did not just emulate one handbag. there is a site called jusjared those people there are a bit too loud and aggressive for my liking. but one day one of them posted a link of all the stuff j.a. imitated and there are whole items like dresses, poses, many accessories… then i began noticing how often she imitates jolie even in the smallest thing. somebody here or elsewhere said she even mentioned brady bunch which is immature for her but because it was mentioned in one of the interviews about angelina. i do believe that she is this immature. and yeah her mother was a bitch but that is no reason to leave her to poverty after she had a stroke, not invite her to your wedding or introduce her to your spouse for 5 years, she’s really begrudging and ugly inside. my mother was far worse than her she would insult and batter me for many and many years but i don’t hate myself. i learned to move on, and now i have self confidence. it wasn’t my fault that my parent was a neurotic bitch, it was just tough luck, anyway and as she grew older she mellowed down and now my mother and i have an amicable relationship. i wouldn’t leave her sick and struggling like that while wallowing in a vacant rich lifestyle, she is my mother after all! anyway sorry long novel lol

100% when it comes to Jolie’s weight issue.
Jolie and Pitt have more help than you and I can even imagine.
They have nannies, teachers, maids, housekeepers, drivers, bodyguards, managers, lawyers, accountants, PR people and who knows who else.
They have unlimited resources.
Jolie is not an ordinary housewife with 6 kids, living in a middle class suburb, doing laundry, cooking, cleaning and grocery shopping, while her husband is working hard to support the family.
Come on now!
I don’t doubt that they are busy in demand people, but they have all the money and help in the world.
It’s not that she couldn’t have gained the weight in almost 5 years, she just doesn’t want to.

I didn’t say that Jolie is responsible for all the girls and women in the world, but she knows that she is very famous and has a lot of influence on many people across the world, man and women in today’s celebrity culture with all of the social media available.
Celebrities have some responsiblity, they can’t just take the perks.
She has a stunningly beautiful face, she is charitable and kind hearted and seems to be a good mom and spouse.
I don’t know about her health, but I stand behind my comment from before, it’s not good to be as thin as she is and it’s certainly not attractive.
