These are some new photos of Freida Pinto in London. She was premiering her new Michael Winterbottom film, Trishna, at the London Film Festival. I don’t know anything about the film, so I’m really just writing about Freida because she’s so beautiful, and I love her black Ralph Lauren jumpsuit. At first, I thought it was an outfit made of separates – a sparkly, shiny top and some nice slacks. But it’s all-in-one, and all of it is glittery and sparkly. You can see the runway look here. The look is absolutely gorgeous on her. Plus, I love her styling. Great hair, beautiful makeup. And you know how I am about a great profile – Freida’s profile is magnificent.
I’m also including Freida’s photo call look earlier in the day – a paneled Louis Vuitton dress that I’m not in love with. The fit looks off, the colors don’t do anything for Freida, and I’m not sure this would look on anybody, really. Meh on this one.
I’m a little surprised that Freida didn’t do the London Film Festival premiere with her boyfriend, Dev Patel (her costar from Slumdog Millionaire). There are photos of Freida and Dev from last week, as they were traveling together and looking couple-y, and I thought to myself, “Wow, that’s nice that they’re still together.” But there may be trouble in paradise – a few nights ago they went to a London event, and media outlets noted that their body language seemed “off”. And then Dev didn’t come to her premiere… hmm. Interesting.

the jumpsuit on her looks great.. that other outfit looks horrible. I just saw a picture of Zoe Saldana in something similar.. material wise and it was ugly to me too. I don’t like that mix of fabric.
She is pretty.. She has a great PR team because she is being promoted heavily. Dev not so much. Hope they handle this well. It can but a big strain on a relationship. Especially when you are not yet established. One partner being so much more in demand than the other.
The same thing happens to me when I wear black and eat powdered sugar donuts.
The jumpsuit looks very nice on her although I would probably like it even more if it were separate top and pants. And she is stepping on her clothes which is never good.
The second outfit is blah.
Those media outlets would be the Daily Mail, so bye any credibility. Second, if I were to judge their body language I would say they are thinking “paps get outta my way!”. They are rarely photographed so when they do get out together, they do not need those pesky paps.
BUT, this blind came up a few days ago and it points very much to this couple:
It is not like this should be surprising, but it is kind of sad. This actress is probably C list. She has really only had one big role. It was a huge movie. Not necessarily dollar wise, but awards and publicity wise. She also models and has been in a long term relationship with another C list actor and former co-star. Apparently though he has been getting the lies and excuses lately about why they cannot spend more time together even though publicly she says all the right things about how great their relationship is. She tells the boyfriend that work and modeling shoots are keeping her busy, when in reality she is spending every second with this great looking B- list movie actor with the unusual name. What our actress does not understand is that this is going to be quick and dirty for him and she thinks it is love and romance and forever. If she wants that she should stick it out with the boyfriend before he finds out the inevitable.

Oh and Pinto is so so beautiful. Great face, great bod, great genes!
Love her casual outfit in the last picture. The black jumpsuit is meh (waist is to high, the vertical lines make her appear to have much wider hips than she really does, length is too long)

I am Indian and by Indian standards, she is nothing special. You need to have white skin and blue/green eyes to of actually made into the “beautiful” category….lol. Sad, but true.

I have noticed that Frieda gets negative comments from Indian posters who frequently mention her skin tone. It is a shame really. Frieda seems very sweet and I think she is beautiful. I’m glad she is finding some success in Hollywood.

While “it points very much to this couple”, I don’t think it is them. Freida spends the majority of her time between London,England and Mumbai, India. A few days before she showed up in California for the Elle event, she was in London out and about with Dev. She caught a plane back to London less than 24 hours after the Elle event. She and Dev went to a play after she got back to London. The Daily Mail tries to stir up trouble where there is none with the photos of Dev & Freida obviously hounded by paps when they arrived at the theater and stayed until after the play was over to take more pics of them as they headed to their car. Daily Mail’s credibility is lacking when they printed that Freida was married….she never was. Wasn’t there a blind item about them about some “golden child”. We know how true that one turned out to be……
I’ve never understood this chick’s hype, she reminds me of ladies I work with or ladies that I attend class with.

Freida was very much engaged. Her ex-fiancé even talked about it how he was very supportive of her film career. Even calling her during shooting but at a certain point, communication stopped from her side.

At the very least she was seeing somebody steady before her big breakthrough. Also, she worked on three American films so she would have the chance to hook up with somebody. You don’t see her that often with Dev because they’re both busy so during shooting she would have the time and opportunity to hook up with somebody.
Still hoping it isn’t her though but if it’s revealed as her I hope Dev doesn’t take it too hard. He really seems like a good man.

Yes Freida was engaged, but that engagement was broken by her obviously. Of course communication would stop at that point, but some guys don’t want to go quietly. Her ex-fiance is a PR person and well versed on how to get publicity for Freida as well as for himself. No one knows exactly when their engagement was broken, because the only one airing the personal details was the ex fiance, right around the time of the Oscar ceremony for maximum publicity…for him….and much criticism of Freida for supposedly “hiding and dumping a secret husband”.
Maybe Freida was seeing somebody steady before her big breakthrough, but after the months of filming SM with Dev, that relationship had to be pretty much winding down or over from what Dev & Freida say now about how they began. Freida & Dev only told her sister about their developing relationship. The way the ex released the news to the press was very vindictive. Dev said he and Freida kept their relationship under wraps during press for SM because they didn’t want to make a big deal about it. Freida has said that what she did was right, probably telling her ex that she was developing feelings for someone else and had to break their engagement.
Sure there could have been opportunities for Freida to hook up with someone on the other films she’s made. But I don’t think she did. Freida knows that Dev is a good man, saying “When you have something so beautiful, you don’t want to lose it”. She’s really in love with Dev, and she calls him her soul mate.
I don’t think this blind item is them.

Am I the only one who thinks that LV dress is lovely? It might not just suit her but I think it would look great on someone who can pull it off.
There is something about this girl that I don’t like. I never bought into the Slumdog hype either.
To me, she’s not that great — pretty, yes, but not stunning.
The outfit…well….not bad, but problems keep it from being “gorgeous”:
1. Length of the pants. Hem them about 1/4 – 1/2″ & they’d be fine. Perhaps she was fitted with different shoes?
2. The fabric is gorgeous but essentially a shiny striped fabric. The cut of the jumpsuit makes the vertical lines off –not perfectly straight, which the shiny fabric and flashbulbs emphasize. She’s not at all hippy but looks it because of the fabric.
So yeah, it’s not horrible but she could do better. Try again, Freida.
I really like them as a couple so I hope it works out. Her black sparkly outfit looks great on her!

That jumpsuit is HIDEOUS. Am I out of the loop or are jumpsuits not only for mechanics anymore? Just bedazzle that s**t and call it fashion. No, no no.

Ash is fugly. There are soooo many better looking actresses in Bollywood. Plus she can’t act to save her life, all she really does is roll her eyes, a lot, and toss her hair. I don’t understand how she keeps getting roles.
Actually she wasn’t half bad in Devdas so maybe there is potential. And Freida looks lovely but im not loving the jumpsuit.
Both outfits are awful. Jumpsuits are pure evil and do nothing but detract from how beautiful she is. The dress is just tasteless. I will delighted when the horror of the jumpsuit disappears.
