If you go to google “Jon Bon Jovi,” the top suggestions are “Jon Bon Jovi wiki” followed by “Jon Bon Jovi dead” and “Jon Bon Jovi death.” I don’t know why people fall for those Internet rumors, but they do. My issue with them is that when a celebrity actually dies and it’s not of old age I usually don’t believe it at first, because the death rumors seem to be floating around all the time.
So this still quite hittable specimen, Jon Bon Jovi, was the victim of a false Internet death rumor started on Twitter, of all places, by some musician from Pennsylvania. The guy did an interview with the Ashbury Park Press admitting that he started the rumor after being annoyed by seeing Jon Bon Jovie in an Advil commercial. I guess he’s a struggling musician and was feeling frustrated, and he admitted as much and apologized.
In response to the death rumors, Bon Jovi tweeted the photo below showing that he’s very much alive. He’s also just as buff as ever at 49(!) Bon Jovi is one of the many celebrities in St. Barts for the holidays with his family. (See Kimora Lee Simmons and Djimon Hounsou.) He was there with his wife of 22 years, his high school sweetheart Dorothea Hurley, and their four kids: Stephanie, 18, Jesse, 16, Jacob, 9, and Romeo, 7. I don’t pay that much attention to Bon Jovi and didn’t realize he was such a family man. He’s also a philanthropist. He started a restaurant in Red Bank, New Jersey in October called the Soul Kitchen Community restaurant. People can either donate $10 for a meal or volunteer their time and get the meal for free. I visited the website and was really touched by the concept. So not only is Bon Jovi hot, he’s also a great guy. I have a new crush. Dude should stop messing with his face though. Also, is that a wiglet?
I’ve long loved JBJ. I also love that he has had a long marriage and that there are no rumors of him being unfaithful. His loyalty and passion and blue collar work ethic make him sexy as hell.
Of course he’s been unfaithful. He’s on the road too much. BUTi think it has been very very rare.

I think he is aging very well and hasn’t messed with his face at all. No wiglet either, he has always had a lot of hair. He sort of looks like Thomas Jane, both very good looking indeed.
Jon’s got his downlow girls and his wife knows and looks the other way. When he’s on the road he’s got a girl in every city.
I don’t think he’s messed with his face at all. Yeah he’s still doable. I’m sure in his young days he’s cheated, but he probably doesn’t do it anymore.
As long as the worked at the issues, if any, then I think he’s a great guy.
I’m from Philly and he’s down here all the time. I met him in Center City once because we share the same lawyer. He was coming out of the office as I was going. He smiled and said hi all normally and I did the same. He doesn’t act like a superstar.

That restaurant sounds awesome, what a great idea. I never heard if it before, its a shame stuff like that doesnt make headlines so that maybe more celebs will do the same.
I always liked that he seems so low-key and down to earth. plus the fact that he’s been with his wife forever without any scandal. Not sure I believe the other comments about his cheating on the road, probably true but he just doesnt seem that way to me but then maybe thats the work of a great PR team.
People in the Philly area know he’s a nice guy. He’s very involved with the community.
My number one celebrity crush, he is amazing.
He and his high school sweetheart were going to call it quits long ago. She stuck with him while he was building his career and was not going to just let him dump her once he got big in Japan. But then she threatened to slap him with a palimony suit and he decided, instead, to marry her. It seems like it has worked out but man, there must have been some issues to get through!
He dated many celebs though when they were “broken” up.. so he sowed his oats pretty good before they got married and if he’s like every other celeb/rockstar/athlete =- he’s cheated.

Sounds like a great love story but it kinda sounds not so fairytale that he dumped her, became famous, dated every actress out there at the time and THEN married her.
