Joshua Jackson gets animated in Vancouver: would you hit it?

Since it’s slow today (SOPA? PIPA?), I thought I’d cover these new photos of Joshua Jackson filming Fringe in Vancouver yesterday. No particular reason, except that he looks cute and we don’t feature him as often as we should. For the record, Fringe is still on the air, and for the record, Joshua is still with Diane Kruger as far as I know. Diane was just in LA for the Critics Choice Awards, but I believe she and Joshua are quietly loved up in Vancouver most of the time while he films that series. They’re a very international couple, and for whatever reason, they totally work.

I know this gets brought up a lot, but who would have ever thought that the Dawson’s Creek kids would grow up in such varied ways? Joshua was always cute, and he seems to have a sense of humor and a good work ethic, so he’s always able to find work. But then you think about Katie Holmes – married to Tom Cruise? And Michelle Williams, on her way to her third Oscar nomination? So weird that they all started at The Creek.

So, here’s the question: Could Joshua still get it? Is he still adorable to you because he’s forever Pacey? Or are you attracted to the man Joshua has become – a loving boyfriend to an international beauty and a humble, low-key television star? My answer: Joshua could get it. I loved Pacey, and Pacey could have gotten it too, but I like the man Joshua has become. And these photos are just too cute.

    Looking fat in his face.

  2. Sam says:

I think he is so much hotter now. He has a way of talking that reminds me of George Clooney (in a good way). Definitely improved with age.
And Fringe is a really good show, although confusing if you don’t see every episode.

  3. Asli says:

Saw him on Graham Norton Show. Loved him, he was really cute. I don’t know what it is but I just hated Pacey and Dawsons in general. Boring.

  4. wemmz says:

    LOVE JOSHUA JACKSON !!

  5. paola says:

He is so much better now. And he always gives the best interviews, he’s clever, thougthful and so articulated. And did I mention funny?

  6. Sunshine says:

He looks like a fat teacher or something like that. I have never heard him speak so I have to go on looks alone and so it’s a big old NO WAY!

  7. Roma says:

Every time there is a JJ post I always make the same comment and I always will: I made out with him. A lot.

Every girl’s gotta have something and I will continue to beat my dead horse.

  8. Me says:

    Fat? Good grief.

    • Sunshine says:

Fat by Hollywood standards, not real-world, normal people standards. He would be pretty decent looking for a regular guy, but I expect a little more out of my Hollywood leading men. Maybe it’s just….jowliness, not fat?

    • Krill says:

      I agree: good grief!

He is not “fat” by any standard, including Hollywood’s. Just because he isn’t a lean fighting weight with ripped abs does not mean he’s fat.

Jonah Hill (bless him, I love him) before his weight loss… call that fat, or overweight, because he was. Let’s engage our brains, people.

  9. Girl says:

Oh my goodness. I remember him from The Might Ducks movies.

    • duckette says:

I will forever remember him as Charlie from Mighty Ducks. I thought he was adorable then and he was cute as Pacey and he’s completely screwable as Peter.

  10. SCREEEE says:

Oh please. YES I would climb that like a tree. Still loving Fringe as well, even if he doesn’t get to have as much acting fun as Anna Torv and John Noble.

  11. whatevs says:

    fatso and old looking.

  12. Reece says:

    In a minute!

Loved Pacey, love the man more.

  13. heatheradair says:

He’s a dead ringer for my man. So — YES, YES, and YES. He’d have a hard time escaping once I got my hands on him.

  14. Donna says:

These pictures don’t particularly reflect how awesomely fit he still looks today. Way better than he EVER looked on Dawson’s. Watch Fringe this Friday… he is a FOX.

  15. Lota says:

Josh is THE guy 🙂 his character in Fringe is so likeable, you just adore him more and he is also creatively involved with the show, writing Fringe universe comics. Oh and he was hot as hell in season 1, slightly skinnier, but is still very fit and cute.

  16. Krill says:

Love him both as Pacey and the man he is now.

Check out this movie with Joshua Jackson… it’s very nicely done, called One Week.

  17. J says:

What the hell, the guy isn’t fat. Some of you guys are truly bitchy. The last photo is just taken at a bad angle-if you shoot anyone from below and are very close, they are going to look bigger around the lower part of their face. It is a big no in photography.

  18. Charz says:

LOVE LOVE LOVE Joshua Jackson! And Fringe! And Anna Torv! and John Noble!

Hope it gets renewed for a fifth season :))

    • Aqua says:

Agree! He seem to be an all around great guy.Fringe is a smart well written show that holds my interest from beginning to end.

  19. HubbaHub says:

God yes! He’s beautiful, and gorgeous and…sigh…*drowns in pool of own drool*

  20. Jackson says:

Yes to Pacey. Bigger yes to JJ.

  21. Amy says:

I never liked him on ‘Dawson’s Creek’; I thought he was fug. But he’s super cute now. I particularly love his hair and jacket and squinty eyes.

  22. kimberly says:

out of all the dawson cast, he’s the one i’d f–k.

  23. d says:

FINALLY, some other Fringe fanatics. None of my friends like it, but I just love Fringe and Jackson, and Torv, and Noble above all. They all deserve Emmy’s. And oh yeah, I’d climb him like a tree, as another commenter so aptly put it!

  24. SouthamptonPrincess says:

Fancied him rotten in Dawson’s Creek and then I saw Fringe OMG! He is so my perfect man – I want him. Simple as that :o)
