Last night was the LA premiere of This Means War. Reese Witherspoon really, really needs this to be a hit film. Will you see it? I won’t. It just looks awful to me, but I suspect the film will do well. Anyway, Reese is really trying this sexy-bombshell image with yet another too-tight strapless dress. The cut of this Miu Miu dress reminds me of Reese’s Jessica Rabbit look at the Globes. We get it, Reese. You have boobs. Also: I hate her hair these days. She said she got bangs to cover up a forehead scar, and while I understand the idea behind it, the execution leaves something to be desired. The length of the bangs and the length of the rest of her hair, how forcibly “unkempt” it looks these days… it’s not my favorite thing.
And here’s Chelsea Handler at the premiere. Her dress is Elizabeth and James, and it’s not really that flattering on her. I don’t care for mullet dresses or horizontal stripes, though, so maybe that’s throwing me off. I love how busted Chelsea looks even when she’s TRYING.
Here’s Chris Pine. Meh. He’s boringly handsome.
And here’s Tom Hardy and his back-on girlfriend Charlotte Riley. Methinks Charlotte put the Hardy dong on lojack, you know? I would too. That man may have Alfalfa hair and a crazy-man beard, but he is FINE.

This movie is going to make bank
The movie is tracking poorly. The have changed the release date TWICE in the past week. THE VOW with Channing Tatum is tracking to win the box office. Reese is just not sexy and the movie looks dumb. Go to Deadline Hollywood, they have articles on the poor tracking of Reese’s movie.
Ong, Chelsea looks godawful. I sort of had a dress like that, without a mullet, back in the early 90s when I was like 14. NOT a dress to wear to a film premiere.
Gawd! They all look awful. Reese looks like she cut her own bangs. I saw an old episode of friends recently where Reese played Rachels sister and her chin wasn’t nearly as pointy as it is now- must be the aging. She needs to look into having it shaved down….and simply on the basis that Chelsea Handler is in this crappy movie prevents me from ever paying to see it.
Meh – don’t think I’ll be watching this movie.

I saw a long preview for this last night at the movies – it looks like an OK rental, but not something I’d pay $11 to see.
I think Reese needs to get back to doing some indie films. She’s a good actress, but the mainstream stuff she’s been in lately isn’t great.
Yeah, I won’t pay $12 to see it in a theater but I’ll watch it at home while folding laundry — and even then, I’ll only watch it because I want to be in a Hardy-Pine sandwich, not because I think the movie looks any good. 🙂
It costs $11 to go see a movie now. Holy crap, you won’t catch me paying that. The last movie I paid to go and see was Titanic. I prefer to wait for a movie to come out on dvd, and I won’t be buying this one.

Reese’s dress is ill-fitting and Chelsea’s is too casual (and mullety).
I usually find Reese boring in interviews and have heard from people who have actually been around her that she is a real bitch (which does not help my opinion about her at all) but I think her red carpet style is almost always flawless. She looks horrible here. The dress would be boring on anyone but it looks like something that I could find in any discount store. She also needs to brush her hair.
I would like Chelsea’s dress more if she wore it to the right event. That is not a movie premiere dress but something that you wear to go eat dinner at the Red Lobster on Friday night. The shoes are god awful. I think Anne Hathaway was spotted with the same dress on coming off of a plane months ago. I wonder, if I am right, if Joan will do a Bitch stole my look on FP.
I love Tom Hardy. I am going to pretend that the greasy hair and ratty beard is for a new role in a ” Deliverance” remake that he is going to star in.

Yeah, Chelsea Handler’s dress is something you’d wear to a dinner on a boat or a beach. It was probably meant to look youthful and carefree but it’s a miss.

i like her, but she needs a good victorias secret strapless with some push up. you wanna look young and sexy you need the boobs up an inch or two. i wont see this in theaters, but i do wanna see it.
Spot on – everything should be a bit more “up.” I also wouldn’t mind if those strapless dresses didn’t give me the impression that I’m gonna see the nipples in a sec. (Don’t get me wrong, I’m fine with the boob, but I don’t need to see more than the upper part and the cleavage)

That’s a horrible weave job on Reese head. I don’t like the dress on her. I wish it covered her knees. Reese come off as a weak spineless woman to me these days. I like the way she handled her divorce years ago but now she seems to be a puppet on a string with no voice. Used by Aniston and Handler.

Not Reese’s best look, I don’t think. I’m surprised to realize, though, that it’s not the bangs/hair that I dislike, but that awkward bustier dress.
I like Reese’s hair … just not at this even or with this dress and she could of picked a better dress — it’s very ” suburban mom going to a party ” she can better.

Reese looks fantastic here. And how is the dress ‘too tight’? It fits her fairly perfectly from what I can see. Just because something is ‘fitted’ doesn’t mean it’s too tight. Too tight is when rolls of fat are very visible and struggling to find an escape..
Oh and what the hell!? Her boobs are not SAGGY. Seriously people – SHOW ME exactly what her boobs are supposed to look like. You people are fed on a diet of fake plastic boobs and can’t appreciate a nice natural pair for once.
Yeah, I do think that Reese is a really beautiful and yet normal looking woman.
And I like Chris Pine’s suit, the tie and the shirt, great combination though I have to admit I don’t think he is more than a cute boy.

WTH is happening to Reese? It looks like she is trying to emulate Chelsea’s hair…which is nothing to copy. The dress on Reese is not working. Something is going on with her boobs. The red dress at Globes the top did not fit correctly and now this one. Did she change stylists or does she have one? Chelsea looks rumpled but that seems to be her “look.” Did anyone read what Joan Rivers said about C.H. recently? It was hilarious!
Handler’s dress looks like something the Hamburglar’s wife would wear.
P.S.: There’s a little bit of desperation in Witherspoon’s smile in that second picture, non? She’s smiling but her eyes look…I don’t know…anxious.
