Lindsay Lohan is in NYC, she’ll give a “no holds barred” interview to Matt Lauer

Last we heard from Lindsay Lohan, she was telling crack-lies about Elizabeth Taylor and I was predicting a cracktastrophe at some of the pre- and post-Oscar parties, especially the parties held at the Chateau Marmont, which is where LL is living now. Fortunately for Lindsay, I can’t find any stories about any crackie behavior around the Oscars. She flew to NYC yesterday, and the header photo is of LL last night in the city – you can see more pics of her looking ragged here.

LL is in NYC because she’s scheduled to host this week’s episode of Saturday Night Live. Will I watch it? I don’t know. Probably not. I like to sleep. LL’s publicity team (Dina and a bottle of a Cuervo) have been leaking all kinds of info about the SNL gig – Lindsay will apparently “do anything” the writers want her to do. But that’s not all – there’s also a rumor going around that LL will be giving a “major” interview to Matt Lauer on Thursday’s Today show.

Lindsay Lohan has just arrived in New York City to begin rehearsals for Saturday Night Live, which she will be hosting on March 3, and RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that the actress will also be interviewed on The Today Show this week.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the 25-year-old is “very excited” to be hosting SNL. “Lindsay has been a longtime fan of Saturday Night Live and is incredibly excited to host the show and work with the amazing cast and writers,” her rep, Steve Honig told RadarOnline.com.

“Lindsay has agreed to go on The Today Show for a no holds barred interview. She has tremendous respect for Matt Lauer, who will most likely be doing the interview,” a source close to the actress tells RadarOnline.com. “Lindsay is a little nervous about hosting SNL, but that is to be expected. She is grateful for the opportunity and won’t let Lorne Michaels (executive producer of the show), down.”

The source says that Lindsay’s Today Show interview will air Thursday.

Last week, Lohan got a glowing report and praise from the judge handling her misdemeanor theft case. Judge Stephanie Sautner told Lindsay during the brief hearing that it looks like she has gotten “her life back on track.”

Furthermore, Lindsay is in the homestretch of her probation requirements, and once she completes the remaining 14 days of community service and 5 therapy sessions, she will have fullfilled all of the obligations from the Court and will no longer be required to report to her probation officer.

This could be the beginning of a comeback for Lohan, as she just inked a deal to play Liz Taylor in the Lifetime biopic television movie. Filming will begin in Canada in April.

“Lindsay knows she can be her own worst enemy at times, and she is really working at getting her life back on track and wants to be in the news for her acting skills, and nothing else,” an insider tells RadarOnline.com.

[From Radar]

Do you even believe that the Cracken is self-aware enough to know that “she can be her own worst enemy”? I don’t. I think LL got this SNL gig and she thinks, “I’m back, bitches! PARTY!!!” And we’ll see what she’s like in the Today interview – Matt Lauer made an enemy of Dina Lohan the last time Dina was on, and it wasn’t even like Lauer was being that hardcore. My prediction is that the Today interview will be more epic than the SNL gig.

    HAHAHA! Crack lies!

    • shaniqua nunyadambidness says:

Agreed. She’s so gonna forget and/or stomp off the set of this upcoming interview.

  2. Dorothy#1 says:

I will watch but mostly because Jack White will be performing!!! Love him:)

Also I sure she will be a train wreak so it is bound to be funny.

  3. Nanz01 says:

I wonder if she will even show up to the interview or to SNL. SNL is more likely…but she ditched Ellen w/o so much as a phone call. So, we shall see. I’m not staying up late for that mess. I will watch the videos online the next day.

  4. brin says:

Didn’t crackie stand up Matt Lauer for an interview? This should be good.

    • Buffy says:

I think she walked out because she found out he was going to ask her tough questions. Lol I will watch the interview, sadly looking forward to it. Won’t watch Saturday Night Live though. I don’t care who is on it I just haven’t laughed at anything on that show since the 70’s and very early 80’s. Honestly can’t evem figure out why it is still on the air. 🙂

      • brin says:

I can’t wait for this interview….I don’t think the questions will be any easier this time!

      • atorontogal says:

ITA! SNL hasn’t been funny in years. Now the cast doesn’t even pretend they aren’t reading cards. It’s just awful. So I’m assuming LiLo will just blend in with the rest of the crap!

    • Marjalane says:

I’m not thinking the interview will be any great shakes, (if she even goes through with it) Matt Lauer’s kind of a wimp with the hard questions, IMO. I also think thbat regardless of the “no holds barred”, the details of what he can ask will be ironclad. NBC will do anything for ratings. (although I hope I’m wrong about everything, and she implodes! ha!)

      • the original bellaluna says:

We’re going to be hearing a lot of “I just want to focus on my WORK; I’m so excited to get back ON SET; I ME MY MINE MEMEME!” in that interview.

And she’ll hide behind the “I can’t discuss that due to my probation/continuing court” excuses when (if) it comes to the hard questions.

      • Ruby Red Lips says:

        Hola Bella 🙂

Linnocent will just spout out the same old clap trap about having learnt her lesson and having turned her life around like the last 700 times!!!

Girl is a raging druggie and alchie and nothing has changed there!!

Cracktinis to all the ladies 🙂

      • the original bellaluna says:

Hola Ruby! Yes, and we’ll need plenty of cracktinis on hand to play the Cracken Hosts SNL Drinking Game!

She hasn’t changed anything but her face, “hair” and grooming standards. 😀 Same old, same old.

  5. Amy says:

An interview? Thank Jesus. This is going to be great.

  6. mia girl says:

I don’t think Dina Lohan has much to do with Lohan’s latest moves… in fact I think her new PR guy is handling her pretty well. Glowing probation behavior/report, scoring two new high profile gigs… putting quotes out there as if she is self-aware.

It pains me to say so, but I think we are seeing the beginning of her comeback. As much as she doesn’t deserve it, the only thing people like more than tearing a celebrity down is watching a comeback. And despite everything, many people have affection for this girl because of her early movies (Parent Trap and Mean Girls). If she can show some semblance of getting it together AND dye her hair back to red, I think people will give her a chance.

EDIT: I take this ALL back. This is LaCracken we are talking about.

    • duncecap says:

      GOD NO.

An actual comeback would validate all her delusions and give her NO reason to get clean.

She’ll never be contrite for her behavior, but use it as proof against all the “naysayers” (people who told her to get her act together). This is the worst thing that could happen. To someone with a questionable mental state, that is.

      Ugh.

    • dena says:

I don’t think Lohan will ever make a real comeback, because Hollywood won’t allow it. She’s already been written off as a has-been and a loser.

She might have a couple of “I’m clean” interviews like she did 2 years ago. But the fame system is designed to crush the weak, and Lohan is weak to her addiction.

I firmly believe we are seeing the end of her. One look at her face is enough. Her face is far more telling than any bullsh1t report from California’s legal system.

  7. Jazz says:

Let’s hope he doesn’t go soft on her and asks the tough questions. Why is this bitch being interviewed for anything anyway?! Let her go away for a while (fat chance) and then make a comeback. (yeah right!!)

  8. bea says:

Go look at the pix on the Daily Mail ref’d above. She is delusional. She is totally rocking Dina’s “look” and that look is horrifying.

It looks like a fake accessory stand exploded on her – even if they’re real, she’s wearing a crazy mishmash of of crap mixed with the cheapest looking weave or wig or wtf……….sad.

  9. TrollyDolly says:

I wish her the very best of luck in getting her life back on track, free from the enablers and sycophants that surround her. Surely the fact that she MAY be able to climb out of the alcohol and drug addled haze she has been in, should attract support rather than hatred? Surely?

    • Lady D says:

Leaving behind the drugs and alcohol will not change her from an arrogant, ignorant, violent, thief into a person we will all love. Narcotics are only half her problem. Her attitude is the other half. Remember her fingernail in court? Her attitude towards others just sucks, and leaving behind booze and drugs will not change that.

      • the original bellaluna says:

Yup. A “clean” selfish, narcissistic asshole is still a selfish, narcissistic asshole.

  10. cmc says:

I can’t wait to see the interview, and I can’t WAIT to see her on SNL. I’m secretly hoping she does great and gets her life back on track, but a bigger part of me just wants to see exactly how bad this could be.

Yes, I was just saying we shouldn’t be laughing at her anymore the other day, but this is a special case.

  11. PJ46 says:

I’m was extremely disappointed that she pulled not one crack attack oscar weekend. No glass being thrown at random people. Not being ask to leave a vip oscar party. No stories of trying to get into the oscars itself.
I had a major case of the no crack attack blues. ):

  12. imabrat says:

Has she EVER been in the news for her “acting skills”, other than being a child star?

    • duncecap says:

Seconded. I keep hearing she was majorly talented. Everyone says it like repeating it makes it true. I’ve watched her old stuff. She was appealing and entertaining. I admit she had a fresh, unique charisma of a sort. But that appeal is now as blown out and used up as her coke nostrils.

  13. dorothy says:

Of course she will. If she shows up.

  14. Kimbob says:

I dunno. Hmmm, no hold barred interview, huh? I’d really be interested in what types of questions he’s gonna ask.

I’d like questions like, what happened to your hair…is that a wig or 1,000 extensions? What’s the deal w/your teeth…were they really that rotten? What’s happened to your face…exactly how many procedures have you submitted yourself to? We know you drink liquor…so we just want to know exactly how much?

The more I think about it, I predict this will not be an epic interview. I mean, if Lindsay shows up..no…I don’t think so. If she shows up, that means she’s been guaranteed some “givens.”

    • duncecap says:

I’d respect him more if he framed it in such a way like “We’ve seen the photos of the nostrils and rotten teeth, the extensions and the many photos of your purported “clumsiness” but what would the you of 10 years ago say if she saw all that at one sitting?”

And when she tried to make excuses for all that, cut her off and make her answer the actual question.

    • Patsy says:

The big question is, will she answer all of Matt’s questions with honesty? Big doubts here.

    • Bess says:

I think LL’s answers will be some version of the following:

      – I’ve grown up. I’ve learned my lesson. I accept responsibility for what happened.

      – I’m in a really good place. I’m glad for everything that happened. I’m on the right path.

      – I’m so glad to be working. I’ve got a ton of projects lined up. Lorne Michaels is like a father to me.

Every question she doesn’t like- she’ll dodge and deny- just like her mother.

      • Boo says:

She will also use the word “frightened” or “frightening” or “scared” or “scary” at least once in a way we all know is bullshit but will be used as a way to seem more human and likable. I saw an interview with her from awhile ago where someone –maybe Leno? said, “you have a reputation as a party girl!” and she was like, “Oh, no…that whole idea is too scary for me” (remember, too spending 10 minutes in jail is “scary,”). It will be just more talking points (see above, and well done, there). She will not miss an opportunity.

        Watch for:

Work (I am WORKING now, I have WORKED really hard, I am WORKING on myself, I look forward to WORK)–this is to keep us from thinking that all she does is party, shop, beg people to give her shit, and hook

        Scary: see above

Learned: I have learned my lesson, I am learning how to behave, I learned from the judge, I finally learned, I am learning my lines…

We will also get a shout out to the judge, her mother, and all of her wonderful fans for being so supportive.

  15. Roma says:

So she’s on her comeback track now that she’s:

    – Supposedly filming a tv movie for the same network that regularly stars LeAnn Rimes and Tori Spelling; and
    – Hosting SNL which, though I do enjoy it, regularly gives hosting gigs to athletes and other “in the news” people.

Neither of these scream “I’m a serious actress!” I will be disappointed in Tina Fey if she either writes or appears on the episode.

  16. Mary jones says:

He will ask the tough questions. And hohan will deny deny deny. “i’ve never done drugs” “everyone is out to get me” blah blah blah. Same old lies. Whats the point?

  17. Relli says:

So no live blog i am guessing 🙁 How about an open post? I always try and catch SNL given that I am night owl and up/home with my kid anyhow. Darn it, I was really hoping to be able to discuss it live with my favorite LL authorities on CB! I guess I will be on Jezebel than waiting for this cracktastrophes to begin!!!

Did anyone notice the obsessive playing of her movies this last weekend.

  18. Petunia says:

I honestly thought this was Dina Lohan.

  19. karma? says:

She has had many many chances for a “comeback” and has blown it everytime. There are so many more deserving people out there who would kill for even one chance. I just don’t have it in me to root for her anymore. Karma? Give someone else a shot instead of indulging her yet again.

  20. Patsy says:

No 25 year old should have baggy knees. Her legs belong to a 60 year old.

  21. Petunia says:

When you look across the front page and see Meaghan Fox (who has had a lot of plastic surgery) next to Lindsay Lohan it becomes very clear how wide the chasm has become between Lindsay and other women in their 20’s. The difference in appearance is shocking.

  22. gg says:

So glad she ditched the orange Sooper Tan Goop. But that hair — is not her friend.

  23. G says:

I can’t even make fun of Crackie anymore.

What would a “no holds barred” interview achieve? Her problems are obvious and well documented. Whether she’s a mess or brazening it out it will just make Lauer look mean.

As for SNL? Making fun of herself will point out how she doesn’t take her issues seriously and isn’t really remorseful. And who is she to make fun of anyone else? The noteriety either way is win-win for SNL.

I think the most likely reason fro this is to prove to Lifetime or other potential employers that she’ll show up for work and do PR as instructed. I think it’s too soon for that.

  24. Happy21 says:

I think that she is hosting Saturday Night Live only because she IS the joke. I think she was asked because they know people are going to laugh at her.

As far as the Lauer interview goes I find it highly unlikely that she will answer many questions honestly. He will ask her how long she has been sober and she won’t say 2 hours, she’s going to say months. It’ll be bullshit.

  25. hazeldazel says:

girl needs to ditch those extensions ASAP!!! You can tell her hairline is starting to resemble Jude Law’s. Not. Good.

  26. TheOriginalKitten says:

As most commenters already stated, Lauer will ask the tough questions and LiLo will deflect/evade. Just because she gave the green light to ask anything doesn’t mean she’s obligated to answer every question or even answer every question honestly. It will be more of the same crackolocity.

  27. lucy2 says:

SNL hired her for the train wreck appeal. If she thinks it’s because she’s some great actress or celebrity still, that’s sad, but not surprising.
What’s the point of a “no holds barred” interview when the subject is delusional? Even if she thinks she’s telling the truth, it will be nonsense.

  28. Tweakspotter says:

    Holy COKE BLOAT!

  29. Dee Cee says:

Can she remember.. cared or cares.. honestly?

  30. hillbilly in the corner says:

It will be a Sugar and Spice and everything with nice interview….a full On Lindsay Lohan pep meeting minus the cheerleaders if yo don’t count mommie dearest just out of camera range coaching Lindsay on the answers….
Matt will toll the nine and question just the questions that he has been given….
You will see the New and Improved I’m Sobber and much more Mature now and I have finely learned my Lession and am now ready for my close up Mr DeMille !!!! and Dina and the new PR man will play it out to the media outlets like the best thing ever produced on TV interviews…..

  31. Blue says:

Has anyone other than LL confirmed that she is doing this movie? Why is she coming to Canada? 🙁 Hopefully she isn’t in my province.

    • the original bellaluna says:

Just stay out of bars/clubs and off the road! 😉

(Lifetime films most of it’s stuff in Canada because it’s cheaper. IF she gets the ET role, that’s why she’ll be there.)

  32. the original bellaluna says:

Didn’t her last “no holds barred” interview with Matt Lauer end in both?

Didn’t security use “holds” to remove Matt after Blohan “barred” him from her condo, despite him flying out from NYC to do an intimate home-interview with her?

  33. Mary says:

Wouldn’t it be awesome if she showed up to the Today show with her natural hair color and maybe some of the fat removed from her lips? I really don’t think we can even begin to take her seriously when she looks like that.

  34. LeeLoo says:

I think she’s trying to fill the media with her delusional crack lies.

  35. hillbillygirl45 says:

What in the world could Matt ask her except, “WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO YOUR LIPS?” And, what’s going on with that hair? How often do you bathe, do you use soap? And, last but not least, how much coke/meth do you use now? Oh, yeah, I forgot, just how close were you and Elizabeth Taylor?
I’m pretty sure Matt won’t ask her any of these questions, but, I sure wish he would.
I didn’t watch the first time she was on SNL, and I ain’t watching this time.

  36. Seen says:

What’s interesting to me is that “skinny” seems to equate to “great bod.” This girl needs to get toned up, she’s “skinny fat” as my friend (a size 0 says, of herself). Really, she’s 25 years old, thin, but in horrible shape. I can’t believe people think she has a great body.

    • skuddles says:

I suspect the only people who might think Lilo has a great body are men… because of her big knockers. Any woman would look at her saggy boobs, untoned arms and legs, soft shapeless arse, and big pot belly and know her for what she is – a druggy drinker. If Angie’s leg can have it’s own twitter account so should Lilo’s double chin.

  37. skuddles says:

So does that mean she’ll come clean about the overseas hooker thing? Blowing millionaires to get into parties? Buying drugs in broad daylight? Getting wasted in rehab? Ramming her car into baby carriages? Stealing everything that isn’t nailed down? On and on and on. There is just so much ground to cover…. Matt better bring his sleeping bag.

  38. Boo says:

From her interview with Matt Lauer. Note the number of times she uses the word “scary” here and elsewhere.

    *****

Yes, we have outtakes from Lindsay Lohan’s interview with Matt Lauer. Nothing too shocking here (she claims she is now a “homebodyy.” Noted.) And confirmation of that Lifetime movie role to play Elizabeth Taylor. Interview airs on “Today” Thursday. Read on!

***** MATT LAUER: There was a time when we talked last time, where I think you didn’t want to talk about a lot of things. Because I think, and correct me if I’m wrong, there was a little denial going on.

LINDSAY LOHAN: Definitely. And I think it was– it’s a scary thing to have to kind of express to people. I don’t think I was– I wasn’t as comfortable with myself then. And yeah, definitely, though. I think it was a fear factor that I had about what was really going on. And, you know, I had to get that wakeup call.

*****MATT LAUER: Can you go to the night life? Can you go to parties? Can you go to clubs without suffering the temptation that’s going to get you into trouble?

LINDSAY LOHAN: I don’t. I mean, I prob– I could, but I don’t. That’s not my thing anymore. I went out, actually, a few months ago with a friend. And I was so uncomfortable. Not because I felt tempted, just because it was just the same thing that it always was before. And it just wasn’t fun for me. I’ve become more of a homebody. And I like that.

***** MATT LAUER: Do you think people have gotten back, or can get back to the point where they trust you? In other words, professional people? You know, if they say to you, “Come host Saturday Night Live,” that’s a big commitment. And do you think the producers and directors of movies and television projects are going to get back to the part where they can go, “You know what? Yeah, we can count on Lindsay. We can bank on her?”

LINDSAY LOHAN: I think that that’s gonna take– I think that takes time. And I think that it’s actions. Because people can say things all they want, but I think I still need to go through the process of proving myself, you know, with SNL, being on time, being, you know, keeping my can’t say the word but stuff together.

***** MATT LAUER: There’s some stories going around that your next project is going to be playing Elizabeth Taylor.

    LINDSAY LOHAN: Yes.

MATT LAUER: Tell me about it.

LINDSAY LOHAN: …We’re in the middle of casting and figuring– we start production soon. I’ve been doing tons of research. But I’ve always kind of researched her. She’s always been a fascinating woman to me. So I’m really honored. And I will not let anyone down, especially myself.

MATT LAUER: It’s funny that you felt the need to say that. “I will not let anyone down.”

LINDSAY LOHAN: Because people– you know, I could see where it could be scary for people to invest in me. And I don’t want people to have that reason to be scared anymore. So being able to have this opportunity with SNL and the film, I’m gonna do what I’m supposed to do, and enjoy doing it, and do it as best as I can.

    ******

    Har har HARDEE har ha!

A homebody my ass. She lives in a party hotel!

She’s uncomfortable partying! But sidling up to millionaires after crashing charity events and asking them to buy her $40,000 baubles makes her “comfortable”?

Oh, my God, she is just too too much. I don’t know how Matt Lauer kept a straight face.

    • skuddles says:

      Same old delusional bubble brain…

    • Patsy says:

So basically, she sat there with Matt Lauer and continuously lied. Nothing new.

    • the original bellaluna says:

Seriously, Matt? “A LITTLE denial” going on?!? Is that like “a little pregnant?”

Where’s Katie when you need her?

And the partying? YOU LIVE IN THE CHATEAU MARMONT, FFS!!! Those knicks in the glass-topped (mirrored-top?) tables aren’t from steak knives, you fool!

  39. Sue says:

Wow you guys are really mean putting her story right next to Megan Fox’s picture on your homepage. lol! She looks 20 years older than Megan!

  40. Patsy says:

I wonder what’s going on under that wig she’s been wearing lately.

  41. Helen says:

    I’m disturbed that she’s driving a car… Cracked out or hungover – not a good idea…

  42. Lady D says:

I’d like to know if she ever paid back that Austrian millionaire that paid for her to attend the Vienna Ball with him. I’d like to know her thoughts when she ‘lost’ her passport the first time and Dina went to all the news site bragging about the fact they told her to stay an extra day in Paris to avoid jail while bail was set and paid. Ask her why she blew off Ellen and himself for interviews. Ask her who’s idea the FU fingernail was. Ask this low-life piece of shit why she just sat there at the table when a model fainted during a fashion show. People from the next table over helped the model while she just sat there and watched. Ask her why she didn’t help or summon a waiter or call 911 or do ANYTHING to help a fellow human in distress. This See you next Tuesday deserves every bad thing that is going to happen to her.

  43. Seen says:

Tough questions? Didn’t see any so far. She seem to have a very limited vocabulary. Every interview reads the same. She’s changed, she’s “learnt” her lesson. She doesn’t go out. And the part about her not letting HERSELF down? Shows she’s still in victim mode. People trying to atone don’t so much worry about themselves. I am fairly certain she would have uttered these same responses to Lauer in the last interview (attempt) — right after she had a dirty urine test — had she not cancelled at the last minute.

I’m all for forgiveness when I see true repentance; I just don’t see it here (yet).

  44. d says:

Even if she pulls herself together, she still has to compete against aaaallll the other actresses out there, many of whom have a better resume than she does, present better, look better, behave better, never mind act better. And it’ll be telling imo if she keeps talking about wanting to be a movie star instead of focusing on being an actress. So far, i havenèt seen anything that indicates sheès ready to give up being a celebrity and just get to work out, of the limelight.

  45. Dees says:

Goodness gracious!!! I know a 55 years old woman who looks at least 30 years younger compared to her

  46. Dena says:

She’s going for the “bloated Liz” look.

  47. Ducky La Rue says:

Looks like there are hand prints on the hood of the car. Wonder who she ran over? 😉
