Ashton’s soon-to-be ex wife (if they were ever married) is still in an undisclosed rehab facility, where she’s reportedly doing well. So that must be convenient for Ashton, to be able to frequent the same haunts and parties that he used to go to with his wife and not to have to worry about running into her at all. And he can of course bring his new girlfriend along, a chick he denied dating over the holidays back when the news came out that they’d taken a trip to Europe together.
The Two and a Half Men star stepped out on Oscar night with a gorgeous brunette as his date, but it wasn’t his estranged wife Demi Moore.
Lorene Scafaria, the Demi Moore look-alike who Ashton was spotted partying with in Europe over the holidays, was his date to Madonna and Guy Oseary’s Oscar after party and they were definitely acting like a couple.
The A-list party was attended by Cameron Diaz, Diddy, Katy Perry and Leonardo DiCaprio.
Ashton’s rep previously said the two were just friends, but on Feb. 25 they were reportedly spotted canoodling at the X Prize charity party.
“They were affectionate,” a source told Us magazine. “They held hands, and she rubbed his back and neck.”

I know a lot of you will disagree with me on this, but I think this was a cold and calculated move by Ashton to stick it to Demi. Demi co-hosted this same Oscars party along with Madonna for the last two years. Ashton used to go to this exact same party with Demi. He knew that if he took a new chick there that the news would get back to Demi at the very least, if not publicized. He’s a star on a hit TV show and he knows plenty of people. He could have easily picked another venue to party at on Oscar night. The news still would have leaked, but at least he wouldn’t have sounded like as much of a douche.
I will admit that I have no idea what went on in Demi and Ashton’s relationship apart from rumors. As far as people behaving badly post-split, this is a classic petty move. Take the new chick to the bar you used to go to with your ex wife, on a night you know she won’t be there.
Here’s Ashton’s new woman, Lorene Scafaria, with her then-boyfriend Adam Brody in August, 2010. Ashton is a step way down from Adam. Maybe I’m confusing Adam with his awesome OC character, but seems like he would be a great boyfriend.

CB, I’m gonna have to respectfully disagree. Firstly, Ashton is still a member of that Madonna church (can’t remember, won’t take time to google), you know, the one with the red string. I am thinking that if you want to stay within the Kabbalah’s good graces (oh wow, I didn’t need to google after all! I just typed it naturally. Huh! yeah for frontal lobe still alive and kicking), sorry, I was saying, that if you wanted still to be in Kaballah’s good graces, I think it is a must to attend their big parties. Second, even Bruce Willis kept on dating Demi look alikes after their divorce. Although his look-alikes were really, really, looking like the real deal. Freakishly so.
So, whatever the situation, I think for the sake of their “religion”, Demi and Ashton will have to put their differences aside, and behave politely in public.

There’s a difference between “never attend again” and “take a new woman bare months after splitting due to well-publicised cheating” though. I mean, he could have gone to this party alone. He could have left it a year and just gone somewhere else with the new girl. Choosing to do neither is pretty slimy, IMO. Obviously nobody knows what happens between two people and for all we know she made his life hell for a long time and he had every right to leave – but he still cheated first, and he’s still done this while his ex is in rehab and has an eating disorder. That’s pretty low.

Maybe he is just so over his ex that he doesn’t even think about her anymore when he makes decisions. Maybe Demi gave him the go ahead…who knows but it’s just a party. Not a declaration.
I agree with you. None of us has any idea as to what happened between Ashton and Demi. When I started dating after my marriage ended I too went to some of the same places I used to go with my ex, BIG DEAL! Life goes on and people move on!

CB, I also think this is a classic douche move on Ashton’s part because Ashton is a classic, run of the mill douche bag. He does not like when others get attention he thinks he deserves so why not show up to an A list party thrown by one of his exwife’s besties, and with a new woman at that. I am no shrink but from what I have read of AK interviews, I think his need for attention goes back to when he and his brother were kids and his brother needed so much medical attention. I have always hated how Ashton pushed his brother’s story to the media by saying the reason he (Ashton) went to college was because he wanted to become a doctor so he could find a cure for his brother’s [heart?] disease. But then he drops out of college, pretty much shuns his family for Kaballah and White Parties, and gives all of his charity dollars to things like malaria nets and stopping human trafficking. Don’t get me wrong those are all good causes, but they are A list causes, casuses George Clooney, Madonna, and Bono care about. Bringing awareness to some heart condition is just so, well boring I guess and not A list. Even though I bet Ashton’s money and name could do a lot to help others who live with what his brother lives with. Ashton may not be a doctor but he has the resources to help raise awareness but he isn’t willing to do it unless other “A list” (I really don’t think of Ashton as A list but I guess he runs in A list circles)actors will pay attention to him. He has been a d-ck since they split. Regardless of how badly it ended, they spent what, 7 years together? It seems like he’s got no feelings what-so-ever. There are two sides to every story, Demi was no innocent thing either.
She is average looking. Demi usually hosts that party with Guy Oseary and Madonna. I really find it strange he would bring another woman there because I would think maybe Rumer was there, but maybe he did because Demi wasn’t involved this year. Many of these reportings aren’t true. They kept reporting for the last few days that Madonna banned Camy from the party due to Demi not wanting her there for talking to Ashton at a party she was at before she was admitted to rehab. Obviously, that wasn’t true. Cami was at Madonna’s party. So maybe this story isn’t true either and he went alone to that particular party.

AK didn’t show any respect while he was married, so I’m not surprised he’d show up, “girlfriend” on his arm. I really think he’s afraid to lose his so-called A list status he got through marrying Demi. And, trying to keep in touch with all the A list people he got to know through DM, you don’t find a ton of random hot-tub chicks at A list parties, which is his usual thing. Before DM he was Kelso, hosted Punk’d, and had a string of bad films. Two and 1/2 Men is going down, he’s sinking in the business, and desperate IMO.
