These are some new photos of Charlize Theron at CinemaCon yesterday in Las Vegas. Shall we discuss the Dion Lee dress first? I’m not in love with it. And oddly enough, I don’t find it flattering. Charlize has this amazing body, and I swear the cut of this dress makes her hips look weird. Plus, she doesn’t look comfortable in it at all. The “cutout” effect is helped along with that illusion netting, and it’s just not a cute look. Her face looks great, though. She’s been looking kind of Botoxy lately, but she looks very fresh and natural here (to my eyes).
Charlize received the “Distinguished Decade of Achievement In Film” Award at CinemaCon. Charlize has had a great decade in film, but that’s kind of lost in such a kiss-ass industry event when everyone knows Charlize just got an “award” because she has two films opening up in June (both of which I can’t wait for). During her acceptance speech, Charlize joked, “If I knew that 3D was gonna be such a big deal I would have gotten that boob job ten years ago.” She also said that everything she knows about love she learned from watching Splash and “Perhaps that is why I am still single.”
Single you say? In other Charlize news, The Enquirer has a recap on the situation with Charlize and Alexander Skarsgard. The Enquirer broke the story in March – something about Charlize and Alex on a “date” at Gym Sportsbar, “a gay watering hole in West Hollywood.” Other sites have claimed similar things too – it’s generally established that Charlize and Alex were together at this bar, but some say that they might have been with a group of friends and maybe it wasn’t so much a “date”. The Enquirer’s sources say this week that Charlize and Alex “want to keep the romance to themselves for the time being.” Which is just a fancy way of saying that we probably won’t see photos of them together. For a while at least.

What a god-awful dress. It looks like its made from fabric remnants and old fishing net. Not a Charlize fan, but even I think she deserves to be showing off her awesome bod in a better outfit than this.

The thing is she does have a pretty straight up and down figure (like Gwen Paltrow, but with broader shoulders), but this dress is just straight up fug and only emphasises her flaws and doesn’t accentuate her positives.

Besides, she has a naturally round, full face and looks happy and like she’s put on a little weight since adopting. When Charlize gains weight, you can always see it in her face.

Take note Maniston- THAT is how you do single. When you’ve got a stupid, sexist public who’s litmus test of success is whether or not you can keep a man- no matter how much money you’ve earned- don’t pander to it, reek of desperation, and constantly call attention to your love life.

Lainey Gossip has flat out stated that she is bat-shit crazy, and was telling guys on first dates that she wanted a baby: so that could be why she’s still single.
Telling someone up front whether you do or do not wish to procreate is always appreciated. No point in wasting each other’s time if you don’t match. “Crazy” is spending the time, falling in love, and THEN finding out you disagree about kids.

I don’t see how telling a guy what you want early on in order to find out if they are also in a place in their life where they want the same thing equals bat-sh-t crazy.
She’s in her 30’s and even though that not old, it’s usually the time when a woman’s chances of having a kid (bio, anyway) starts greatly reducing. Why should she waste time investing in a relationship with a person only to find out that they don’t want kids or don’t want them until they’re in their 50’s (because man can wait longer to have kids with out many repercussions)? Add to the fact that she lives a lifestyle where getting dates are probably hard due to the type of work she does; unusual work schedule.
If this is the only thing to prove that she’s crazy well it just looks like she knows what she wants in life and doesn’t have time waste on people who aren’t of the same mindframe.

And how would lainey know something like that? She’s so jealous of Charlize and has been hating on her ever since Charlize declined to give her an interview one time for her boyfriend’s movie. She has a vendetta against her even when she admitted that Charlize was really cool to her when she met her under different circumstances.
She may have just been doing the mature, honorable thing of letting guys know where she stood if she was actively considering single parenthood or in the process of adopting her son which, even for rich people, typically takes months, if not years. It lets both sides consider whether or not it’s worth their while to make an effort at a more serious relationship, keep it casual, or take a pass. A 25-year-old woman who is planning on a child in the distant future can afford to be coy about her reproductive wishes. A woman in her mid-30s who wants a family in the near future is wiser not to waste any emotional energy on a potential partner who isn’t on the same timeline. And it’s only fair for the other party to know where she stands.
Wonder why she didn’t have a child with Stuart? They were together for ten years. Plenty of time to decide if you want a baby. Perhaps he didn’t and that’s why they broke up?

Risk with the dress didn’t pay off here though she can make a garbage bag look good. Charlize is a top 5 actress for me plus she’s amazingly beautiful and is a class-act. Clearly she was brought up right. I just saw North Country this last week – if you haven’t seen it – put that one on your list.

Also i contacted The Vault TB and they do not work all the time . They do get breaks in between . They are on casting for Episode 10 now . They will still be filming when season 5 comes on . Sometimes Alex gets 3 days off if you checked you saw that he was at the Coachella fest last weekend with his buddies >TB has to cast , table reads then film the episode they are on when the first episode comes on they will be still filming . Alex will on his time go home to Sweden to visit family then come back to film on his break .

Heather, I know that the actors don’t film for the entire time frame for each episode, no matter what their presence in that particular episode is. He’s also got promotional stuff to do for Battleship.
But, that aside, even if they are a couple, they’re both really quite busy right now and people wondering why he’s not showing up to her events (should they be a couple) strikes me as being a bit overly concerned about it.
Without going back to her natural darker hair, i wish she would choose a light brown color instead of that bleached blond.

I am not a fashionista, so I do not really care about the details or a cut of her dress. But I am a big fan of hers. Whatever she does is awesome. Just love the combination of beauty and sophistication, so rare but so priceless. I think, her wholeness might be the reason why she is still single, or whatever. She doesn’t’ look like a woman who is desperate/miserable unless she has a man by her side. Considering that she can have anyone she wants, I even lover her more for that.
Maybe she’s still single because she’s very committed to her career? While a nanny can help out with a baby, you might not want to have her help out with a boyfriend/husband.
If Askars really is her man and she is too busy to be with him I’ll volunteer to babysit him. For free.
