Here are some photos of Eva Mendes at an LA screening of her new movie, Girl In Progress, last night. Eva wore Honor. I’m not crazy about the dress, y’all. I just don’t think it suits her. She’s an attractive woman with a crazy body – perhaps this full-skirted silhouette isn’t right for her? I’m not saying she has to always wear skin-tight, sexy clothes, but this just seems too girlish and cutesy for Eva’s general vibe. My favorite part of the look? Eva’s bracelet, which is gorge.
Obviously, Ryan Gosling was not at the screening last night. As for whether or not Ryan Gosling and Eva are still together… look, I have no idea. They came back from Thailand at the end of March, and since then, I don’t think they’re been photographed together once. Eva seems to have stayed put in LA since Thailand, where Gosling was in NYC… and maybe Canada too? He was back in LA a few weeks ago, but I have no idea where he is right now. I’m sure the Gosling know-it-alls will yell at me momentarily, and I welcome your information. My take on this situation continues to be along these lines: there’s something funky about this pairing, and Eva is trying really hard to make this relationship work, in any form. And I’m not sure Gosling is into it. But we’ll see.

The skirt is too puffy, it almost looks like it is a sizer too big. And that veil thing that was added to the bust just increases the fug factor.

Dress is not flattering at all. What is with her permanent drunk face? Also, this movie looks atrocious. When she did early promotion for it, she kept talking about how it was suppose to break the current mold of roles she normally goes for but honey child please, you can’t act and playing a hot mess mother isn’t going to change that.

I think she or her crew have lurnt a lot about all these bad comments : we’ll never see her with ryan on red carpet, she’s trying to change her bad vulgar image with new serious look – like carey mulligan-, she doesn’t do her ridiculous poses -open mouth and kisses- like she used to do on red carpets and will we see again naked pics ? But all that work won’t change the fact that she ‘s a bad actress ! Dear eva when I read your interviews I get the feeling you want to be someone you’re not, accept who you are !! And well, I know these comments are harsh but you know even in very negative and bad events we always lurn something, so I’ve heard you’ve been very disdainful and rude with people, so karma !!
It does look like she’s trying to clean up her image.
Maybe it’s because Ryan is embarrassed by her past behavior, and she’s desperately trying to keep him?
I too have heard she treats people poorly when she feels they are not important. This includes crew and extras on movie sets, plus people outside of the industry working in service jobs. She sounds like a real jerk, actually.
The dress looks like it needs to be steamed, but it’s a cute, vintage inspired look.
I don’t think a thick black line right below her chin is the best idea – it accentuates her super dark eye brows and not in a good way.

I can’t put my finger on exactly which breed she looks like, but in these pictures her face is reminding me of some kind of small dog. And the dress is fug city.
Well, I care for Ryan Gosling. Have you actually seen him in his movies? Drive? Awesome. Lars and the Real Girl? Fracture? He may not be tall, dark and conventionally handsome, but he has real presence. And acting chops.
Oh, and the dress is fug on her. It’s more a Carey Mulligan look.

I agree. He hasn’t been seen doing PDA with her for a really long time. Those last photos from thailand said a thousand words. Do you think he regrets starting this affair and is now stuck with her? He’s been looking miserable these days.
What I don’t understand is, if he’s so private, why the heck did he do those awful photo ops in Paris? He looked miserable doing them by the way. His hands were stuffed in his pockets, and he barely touched her. They did make out at one point, but he didn’t look very into it. There was no love. When he was with Rachel McAdams, you could tell he was a man madly in love. That’s missing when he’s with Eva. From what I’ve seen, anyways.

I think they have absolutely no chemistry and that’s weird, given the fact he shew much affection for other women (telling from pictures).

Her movie is “Girl in Progress?” I hope she’s not the girl, because her girl days are way behind her, even if she is wearing her Sweet Sixteen dress to the screening.
The dress makes her look much bigger than she is and the make up is too heavy, especially for this type of dress.

Am I the only one who thinks he skipped out on the Golden Globes for a reason? He could have attended if he wanted to. Instead he took off for thailand pretty quick, before production even began. Her and Ryan are the weirdest couple ever. For the life of me, I couldn’t understand how Ryan, who guards his personal life so fiercely, would do staged looking photo ops with Eva Mendes of all people! I’m sorry, but those photos from Disneyland and Paris looked very suspicious. Then after that, they became all shy, and starting covering their faces and running away from the cameras. Ryan was looking extra p*ssed off, especially in photos taken in thailand. Now it looks like he doesn’t want to be photographed with her at all. But they are still obviously seeing each other judging from the sightings at magic castle. What gives?
Lainey said they would be returning to LA from thailand together, and that they were moving in together. But Ryan didn’t return to LA with Eva. He went to NY for a few weeks first. I’m not sure if she’s always right about these two. She claims she is.
I believe they are a real couple. I read on some lady’s blog that she ran into them at the grocery store back in october and they were making out with no cameras around. But I think Eva’s more into Ryan than he is into her. I think they both happened to be single, and they started an affair out of convenience. I think it’s possible he could be regretting it now, due to her mostly negative image. Time will tell.
I really do think her days are numbered. It was always ment to be a short term affair, because she is not the kind of woman you want to settle down with, she is the mistress kind, she’s pretty much that she is as well. Even if she does change her mind about kids just to keep him, do you really think Ryan would want her to be the mother of his children? back when i was a fan of skarsgard i recall how my perception of him changed once he began dating kate bosworth. i didn’t hate her or anything, i just didn’t understand how someone who claimed to be so very private and loathed the paps would date someone whose a known famewhore. ryan’s relationship with eva, at least in my opinion seems rather reminiscent of that situation. as for the dress, i have no idea who her stylist is but this person must be fired. i don’t find this woman attractive nor appealing and believe she thinks highly of herself, without reason, since she has no talent and i do not find her attractive in the least, though she does have a lovely figure
I’ve said a few times and I’ll say it again: Mendes doesn’t want kids. It’s not something she just said to cover up a true desire to make babies. Something Gosling has. Her relationship with him will or did not last, because of it.
