Kaiser already covered the main players at the Cannes On the Road premiere, and here are some of the other guests on hand on the red carpet.
Milla Jovovich seriously underwhelmed in her lilac, slightly Asian-inspired dress. Usually, I love almost anything she wears because, you know, Milla is known to wear the hell out of almost any gown. She’s one of the only great enduring models (seriously, Milla’s been big since the late 1980s), but here, the look falls flat. This dress is wrinkly and cheap-looking and her hair is sloppy as well. Even Milla’s makeup looks underdone. She usually brings it in a big way at Cannes. What happened here?
At least Milla can work this dress from the back view, but she’s worn such superior looks on countless occasions.
Kate Upton also looks slightly cheap on the red carpet as well, but that kind of goes with her downmarket vibe. Her dress is nice, but it doesn’t stand out on the red carpet against all of those suits and tuxedoes in the background. Perhaps an updo would’ve grabbed more attention than those loose locks.
Finally, here’s someone with an identifiable designer ID! Here’s Roxane Mesquida in a Roberto Cavalli gown, and she looks positively gorgeous here. I love that hairdo (which isn’t exactly versatile but still looks great on her) and the dramatic lipstick. She looks like a dream.
Ewan McGregor and his wife, Eve Mavrakis, walked the red carpet together. Eva looks quite pretty here, and although I do admit to worrying (perhaps unnecessarily) about their marriage, they seem to support each other when it matters most.

Has Milla had work done, I can’t quite put my finger on it but she looks a bit different, to me anyway..
She has. I was just coming to express my disappointment.
On top of some pulling and/or botox, it looks like she’s gotten lip filler too. Her mouth is totally different. i thought Milla was better/smarter than that. Oh well.
That disappoints me as well, but let me ask you then. Has she done something with her chin also or is that just the way her makeup is done? She almost looks manlier to me.
I believe so and it just makes her look really harsh.

What an awful thing to say about ewan’s wife! They look about the same age and she looks what she is :a pretty and elegant +40 woman.
She doesn’t look older than him, maybe his “pretty boy” act is fooling you to think otherwise.

she ages naturally, and he chases his lost youth with botox and dying his hair (both are way too obviou to look natural he is stepping into Tom Cruise territory!) and trying to style himself younger… but even with all that the imbalance between him and his wife is not that noticeable… and the only imbalance I can see is about confidence: he is flaunting his ego big while you can see she is not used that much to the red carpet.
And I find her to look like a nice 40 yrs old lady not older than him at all… anyway I wish when I grew old to be as natural and pretty looking as her!
I also thought it was his mother 😀

not bad. it’s the fabric that always looks sloppy no matter what one does i have seen this anywhere from bridal dresses to classical paintings and it wrinkles easily but it’s not that bad i guess. edit: i hate the way she poses by sticking out her bum though, as manisfested in the first pic she has never had much of a waist, but nowadays all the celeb ladies are posing with their bums a meter apart from their torso, we can tell you are posing like that to make your waist look smaller hon, it isn’t working! it’s just like when they pout to make it look like they have full lips, it looks embarrassing. be yourself and stop with the ridic poses.
Kate Upton looks terribly out-of-place at Cannes… I know they let all kinds of low-budget ppl attend but she sticks out like a sore thumb. If she had worn something flattering and fixed her make-up and hair, maybe it wouldn’t have been such a fail…

Kate Upton looks horrible in that dress. She certainly stands out, and not in a good way!
not to be mean, but when I saw the initial photo of Milla on the home page, for two seconds, before I read the headline, I thought it was a guy dressed as a girl….. her face does look harsh and a bit manly…I didn’t recognize her.

milla’s dress looks lined with popcorn in the close ups. the dress makes her look thick in the middle unless you only look at her back.

I’ve loved her since the early 90’s when I first saw her in the teen fashion magazines.
Unless she becomes totally unrecognizeable she will always be the most beautiful woman in the world to me 🙂

You are a lovely girl and an international model. Stand up straight and work the hell out of whatever you are wearing. Never let the dress wear you!
Also, I’m sure some jeweler loaned you that necklace and would like a little publicity in return for the loan. Don’t cover it with your hair.

Wow! I don’t know who Roxane Mesquida is, but she looks gorgeous! Ewan’s wife is pretty too, everyone else is kindof meh here.
I never liked her appearance. I didn’t get the hype of Milla and don’t think she is pretty nor do I believe her body is desirable.
I did like her hair here and I don’t think it’s sloppy, but a “look”.
Kate should have chosen a different color. Her hair is really pretty too.
I like the new trend of the waves/ curls. It’s much more feminine and classic/ sexy (depending on how it’s done).
i actually agree with you. moreover i heard many guys who said she wasn’t pretty. idk why she got famous in the first place, she can barely act. and her body has always been lanky with no feminine apperance at all, no waist, boobs, bottom whatsoever. her eyes are too far apart and lately she looks manly like a terminator when she stares sometimes, when she was younger they had a vacant and stupid stare too.
i love mila but hate whatever she’s been wearing these past several years and hate the hair. she should grow it!
