Here are more photos from last night’s Glamour Magazine Women of the Year Awards. You can see Glamour UK’s coverage of their event here, including lots of stuff about nominations and who was wearing what. As I said in the other post, Glamour UK got a really good turnout this year. Probably because they gave out some awards to the Americans, and the Yanks showed up. Let’s just go right to the fashion, shall we? Let’s start with Lily Collins, wearing Alexander McQueen. Lily won some kind of “breakthrough” award, and I think she probably has a bright future ahead of her. Personally, she doesn’t strike me as a big-time Fashion Girl, and much like so many of her generational peers, she’s still learning about how to dress for red carpets. I think this McQueen was a bad choice, and she looks so uncomfortable in it too. Something nice: rich, dark green is a good color for her, and I like her makeup.

Here’s Sofia Vergara in Zac Posen. I didn’t know Posen designed these kinds of busty tube dresses, but there you go. Sofia looks pretty… but this isn’t groundbreaking or anything. She’s a beautiful woman with an amazing body and for the most part, she knows what looks good on her.

Lily Allen, making a rare red carpet appearance since she gave birth to her daughter last November. Her skin looks amazing. Hate the coat.

Jessica Alba in Alexander McQueen. Too-dark makeup, and I feel like her hair is a shade too dark too. I really dislike the dress – it doesn’t suit her at all. It just seems like one of those dresses which doesn’t do anything for whomever is wearing it.

Jessie J in Julien Macdonald. At least she’s not flashing her biscuits? She’s a pretty girl with a nice figure – it shouldn’t be this hard to figure things out. The makeup is too “Middleton” and the booties are awful. Try the dress with black sling-back, open-toe heels, less eye makeup and brighter lips. And fluff up with hair.

Kylie Minogue in Stella McCartney. Much like Lea Michele in the other fashion post, it feels like Kylie is at a completely different event. Too dressy. And what does Stella McCartney have against smart tailoring? Look at what’s happening in Kylie’s midsection.
