Michael Fassbender appears on ‘Late Night w/ Jimmy Fallon’: sexy & funny?

Here are some new photos of my love, Michael Fassbender, outside of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon yesterday. Fassy is promoting Prometheus, obviously, and Fallon was one of his big TV appearances this week. Tonight he’ll be on The Daily Show, which is SO exciting!!! Jon Stewart and Michael Fassbender, in the same room. GAH. And then on Friday, Fassy is scheduled for… THE VIEW. No joke. Michael Fassbender in that den on iniquity… that will be interesting. He’ll either bomb or all of the ladies will fall in love with him.

Anyway, NBC released part of Fallon’s interview with Michael. I forgot that they were both in Band of Brothers!! Jimmy references that, which is cute. My favorite parts: when Jimmy asks, “Ever been to Ireland?” And when Jimmy asks Michael if he wants to be black. And when the two men sing. It’s a really good clip, honestly.

Sigh… he’s so hot in motion. And the beard is absolutely fantastic. Two more things I want to put on your Fassbender radar – he has a boring interview with Time Magazine in which he just talks about all of the stuff he’s already talked about (Bowie, Lawrence of Arabia) – go here to read it. The only quote I liked was when he was talking about robots and how eventually humans will have robots as helpers, and he’s asked if he’d like a robot butler. Fassy says, “I don’t even know if I would have a butler if I could have a butler. I would have a robot cleaner.”

Last thing – ENOUGH with the rumors and casting suggestions for 50 Shades of Grey. Fassy will not be touching that film. Fassy got a question about 50 Shades and he said, “I don’t even know what that is… I’ve heard people saying stuff about my casting and it’s on the Internet. Honestly, I don’t know anything about the book or the character. Nobody has approached me… It’s ‘Fifty Shades of Green’ in my world — that’s how much I know about it.” Please keep it this way, my love.

My ovaries can’t take much more of this! I’m taking a sick day and watching X-men first class whilst browsing Celebitchy. I’m gonna be needing a transplant

LLMAO @ my ovaries can’t take it, I hear ya!!!! My heart started beating twice as fast and I scrolled down. Fassy Forever <3

I went to see Prometheus last night and i’m not 100% on board the Fassbender Express looks-wise, but your right there is something very *attractive* about him on screen.

why do so many Hollywood guys wear beard this day?

    • TheOriginalKitten says:

I think it’s a general fashion trend not exclusive just to Hollywood. I notice a lot more men sporting beards these days. I used to HATE facial hair more than anything but I’ve started to come around. It really depends on the guy and of course, how well-groomed (or not well-groomed) the beard is.

Its for a movie!! 12 years a slave

  5. Aiobhan says:

I want to be double axed by Michael.

  6. Sumodo1 says:

I could guess his inspirations for the role, except for Dirk Bogarde in “The Servant”–but this is Ridley Scott we’re talking about, and they REVERE Dirk “The Smirk” Bogarde.

    • Sumodo1 says:

I meant to say, the British actors and directors revere Dirk Bogarde (who made me cringe in “The Night Porter.” Erggggg!)

  7. Chatcat says:

He is hot. He makes me hot. He just spews sexiness to the point where I don’t even mind the skinny jeans and I HATE skinny jeans on guys (fanning myself vigourously right now!)

    • TheOriginalKitten says:

There’s an area in Boston called Brighton where all the musicians/artists live and if you walk around there, you see TONS of guys wearing skinny jeans and SUPER-tight clothing. Now most of these guys weigh about 90 lbs soaking wet. It’s so effeminate and SO unappealing IMO. My take on skinny jeans: You get a pass if you’re European (like Fass) but if you’re American-you need to drop the hipster douchiness and stop wearing girls’ jeans. Just my opinion 🙂

      • MST says:

In Philly, the hipsters in Manayunk, Fishtown, and around South Street wear them. I agree, 90 pound wimpsters with Elvis Costello style glasses and skinny jeans are NOT appealing.

      • Chatcat says:

Kit…same here in Philly, both in Manyuank (trendy urban) and Rittenhouse Square (trendy gay) area’s. In any event YUK, and I refuse to give Fassy a pass on the skinny jeans because he is European, we all know what he’s got so why not keep it comfortable! lol

      • Amelia says:

Oh MST, you basically described half the boys (emphasis on the ‘boys’, NOT men) I know here in London. We’ve been contaminated here as well, it sounds like you have the same problem across the pond.
Most of them are straight as well. I reckon there are two types of masculinity. Go Youtube ‘Russell Kane, live at the electric’, he’s got some pretty funny stuff to say on the subject.
And he’s probably the only metrosexual bloke I wouldn’t kick out of bed, simply because he makes me laugh so much 🙂

      • Chatcat says:

@MST…hi fellow Philadelphian and I see we were posting at the same time (sorry for my speedy typing/mispell of Manayunk). Why yes South Street too has it’s share of skinny jeans.

@Amelia – “I know here in London. We’ve been contaminated here as well, it sounds like you have the same problem across the pond.” LOL Have been to London a few times and travelled up to the midlands as well. Have a great friend who is 10 years younger then me and he does skinny jeans and I tell his wife to get him a pair man jeans for Christmas! lol

      • LucyOriginal says:

You described guys living in Brighton really well, thanks!

      • shari says:

It’s also an epidemic of metrosexual proportions here in the O.C. Guys wear skinny jeans EVERYWHERE, and it’s really annoying. I don’t think I’ve seen a REAL man in a dog’s age. :/

  8. Jenna says:

He seems like a really fun guy and a good actor to boot, but I just can’t find him attractive at all! Ah well.

  9. original almond says:

For the life of me, I cannot get or see this guy’s supposed hotness, but he is one heck of an actor. He killed it in Prometheus and if indeed they will make a sequel I hope it will be very David-centric. He was just awesome in the movie; Noomi and him were the highlights.

  10. DavidBowie says:

Love the pics and love the clip (esp. the part about the heavy metal gig). Love Fassy. Sigh.

  11. lena80 says:

Are we still believing he’s 35? He’s definitely handsome, but I just don’t think he’s really 35 yrs old.

  12. Sara says:

He looks good with the facial hair. He needs to gain some weight though.

  13. MST says:

Sorry, but I absolutely HATE facial hair!

  14. couldn't help it says:

I like how you added a “?” at the end of the title as though that was a question. hehe

  15. Madpoe says:

    Aww yeah!
The power of beard compells you!
    To your knees ladies!
    <3 Fassy

  18. Bellydancer says:

Oh my goodness my lil ginger viking naughty leprachaun is hairy all over these days and I love me some hairy men (lol)makes me want to post naughty things on here but I don’t want Kaiser unsheathing her slut dagger.

  19. LucyOriginal says:

He was great on late night with Fallon. I wish I was in NYC. I wonder if Fassy has been to my fave Irish bar there…

@Kaiser: I am with you on the 50 shades of grey.

  20. ria says:

Been a crush of mine since Hunger and Fishtank . He just keeps getting better with every movie he does. His down to earth personality just makes him that much more adorable. Love, love, love, love, love fassy.

  21. FANNY says:

    hot hot hot

  22. Rose says:

I loved his interview on Fallon! Those two have chemistry and are very funny together. The part where they start singing metal in an Irish accent–I almost died laughing.

Also, Jimmy is the first interviewer in a long time who didn’t mention Michael’s nude performance. The jokes are becoming rude, and I’m glad he kept it polite and focused on Michael’s life & talents.

  23. Camille (The original) says:

Good lord I adore Fassy. Loved the interview. I always end up with a big grin on my face after watching one of his interviews. 🙂

  24. M says:

Thanks for posting the pix! CB will be my favorite site for all FB related news. Can we start a petition to Not have him be in 50 shades? That material is unworthy of his talents, unless someone elevates it like Flint easrwood did for “Bridges of Madison county.”

  25. Love Celebitchy :) says:

i think im in love 😛

  26. Beeping says:
