Michael Fassbender strokes his ginger beard repeatedly on ‘The Daily Show’: hot?

God, I’ve loved this week. So many Michael Fassbender photos! So many new Fassy interviews! Tuesday night, Fassy was on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and that interview was absolutely charming. Fassy discussed his rock star dreams and “double-axing”. Then, last night, Fassy appeared on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. This was another good interview, and just like Fallon, Jon Stewart managed to avoid talking about The Fassdong. It’s good that interviewers are moving beyond Fassy’s “impressive sausage.” In this interview, Fassy and Stewart talk about New York acting classes versus London acting classes, and there are several funny jokes about the Queen’s Jubilee.

You know what I kept noticing? Fassy strokes his beard a lot. I get that his beard is new and he can’t help touching it. But the way he strokes it is really, really distracting, right? Or maybe that’s just me being a Fassloonie and salivating at the thought (never mind the image) of Fassy stroking anything.

It’s so funny to me that his facial hair is a completely different color.

  2. madpoe says:

    beard porn! YES please! 😉

  3. Addison says:

He also had an interview on Tuesday morning on The Today Show. I think it was an early segment, as Matt and Anne did not interview him. Noomi was there as well!

  4. lost in the barrens says:

Am I the only one who thinks he is hotter with a beard?

    • MissilePanda says:

      definitely not!

    • TheOriginalKitten says:

I like him both ways. Scruffy Fass is the guy that would come inside after a long day of chopping firewood and hoisting bales of hay. Then we would light a fire with said firewood and do it on a bearskin rug.
Clean-shaven Fassy would come home after a long day of number-crunching and pencil-pushing and I’d have dinner waiting for him. We’d share a couple glasses of wine then go upstairs to his office and do it on his desk.
      Um… I mean….I haven’t really thought about it…..
      O_o

    • Issa says:

+3. The color…its the color that does it for me 🙂

    • Jordan says:

I totally agree! Watching him in the clip, I was like, eh, nothing to write home about. But love the ‘messy’ hair and the beard.

    • darkladi says:

mmm. the beard makes him look all dirty boy Irish

  5. grabbyhands says:

It took me a long time to join the pro-beard camp, but now I’m a big fan of them. And it’s pretty sexy when (some) men do that-especially when that someone is Fassbender. He needs to keep it around for a while.

  6. Gossip PHD says:

Does anyone realize he sometimes wears a rug? He is balding. Note the difference in the photos.

    • Rose says:

I don’t think he’s balding. He recently had a shaved head and he’s growing out his hair.

I like him with a little more hair, and I’m really liking that ginger beard as well.

  7. Stacie says:

This has been a Kick Ass good week for us Fassy lovers . Thank you so much for all the Photos . Fassy stroking his beard is so F-ing Hot . I just love him . 🙂

  8. ladybert62 says:

so it is ok for him to stroke his beard constantly but Kate Middleton can’t touch her hair repeatedly? Oh well, we all have double standards.

I just do not get what you see in this man.

  9. T.C. says:

Ginger beard pr0n. Fassy has turned me into a ginger slut. 🙂

  10. Lindy says:

Ok, ok, I admit it. Fassy is hot, especially in that first picture. I succumb, Kaiser. I see it now, I do!

  11. LeeLoo says:

I never had a crush on The Fassy until he grew the beard.

I hope he never shaves it off.

    • gg says:

Same here!! The ginger beard, so exquisitely grown, has hooked me bigtime. Edward VII would be proud.

  12. Eve says:

Don’t get me wrong (and I understand this is *your* blog). I like The Fassbender and don’t mind seeing pictures of him at all BUT…I’m craving a Hot Guy Friday post like crazy lately — we need some variety, Kaiser. Let us miss the Fassbender a little bit.

Or maybe, you know…every three posts about The Fass, you could post one featuring another hot guy? And I’m not even going to beg for my favourite hot guys, I actually mean ANYONE*!

P.S.: posts about Gosling and Mendes do not count.

    • another nina says:

I’m with you, Eve…I’m already starting moderately disliking Fassie…;)

  13. Peach Dancer says:

He was great in Shame, but honestly Carey Mulligan stole the show for me in that film. Can’t wait to see Prometheus!

  14. Kennedy says:

I need a new man crush… Fassdong just doesn’t do it anymore. Gosling was my #1 and then Evil Mentos ruined his perfect image for me. I’m beginning to recrush on James McAvoy and JGL. Help me out fellow celebitches?

    • Eve says:

James McAvoy is a great (and deserving) choice.

I’m going to suggest some of *MY* crushes. Feel free to not accept any of them — but no hating, please:

Oscar Isaac; Chris Evans; Mark Ruffalo; Tahar Rahim (French actor); Tom Hiddleston; Robert Downey Jr.; Jesse Eisenberg; James Purefoy; The “Dominics”: Cooper and West; Paul Bettany; Idris Elba and Takeshi Kaneshiro.

      • TheOriginalKitten says:

Mark Ruffalo. YES. PLEASE. Tahar Rahim…where is he, Eve? I have’t seen that hotness in a while. I need more!
Eisenberg??? Well since you said “no hating” I’ll let that one slide 😉

      • emma bee says:

takeshi’s been mine since the early 90s. i love how in all this time, the media have never managed to dig up anything much on him. he’s super private and low key and therefore mysterious. also he’s regularly described as being friendly and undemanding with crew…kind of reminds me of keanu reeves.

      • Chatcat says:

        My man crush list:

        James Purefoy – yep
        RDJ – yep
Sean Bean – age appropriate crush
        Chris Hemsworth – complete age
        inappropriate crush
Joe Mang – all brawn and no brain crush
Liam Neeson – older man crush (and birthday boy today)

        @ Original Kitten:

Rahim has been in some independent movies like “Love & Bruises” (by Chinese director Lou Ye); “À perdre la raison” (about a man whose wife kills their children — apparently it’s based on a true story and Niels Astrup, the corsican mob boss in A Prophet, also stars in it); “Free Men” (about French Muslins who helped Jews during the war in France, by giving them fake Muslim IDs so they wouldn’t be sent to concentration camps); and, finally, a big budget movie that didn’t do well…I’ve read mixed reviews about it, but he looks so good in that one: “Black Gold”, with Antonio Banderas, Mark Strong and Freida Pinto. Unfortunately (for me), I’ll have to download half of these movies because they didn’t open anywhere near where I live. He was also in “The Eagle” with Charming Potato and Jamie Bell (he plays the Seal Prince).

        @ Emma Bee:

Totally agree with what you said about Kaneshiro (except that he’s yours…sorry, he’s mine). I’ve been searching online for news and gossip about him ever since I saw him in House of the Flying Daggers but CAN’T. FIND. ANYTHING. JUICY. Well, nothing besides some news about him dissing Maggie Q — ok, not exactly dissing, but he was less than excited when he was told she had said he was “the perfect man”.

      • Eve says:

        @ Original Kitten:

By the way, this (it’s from a series of absolutely gorgeous pictures) was taken while he was in Cannes promoting “À Perdre la Raison”:

        He’s so beautiful it hurts.

  15. keats says:

We adjust our pant legs the same way, clearly we are soulmates.

  16. Memory30 says:

Last picture omg he’s so hot i love him. My husband not so much lol

  17. Call Me Al says:

I LOVE it when he laughs; I want to bask in it.

  18. Jo 'Mama' Besser says:

A post about (literal) beard stroking? Huh?

  19. LucyOriginal says:

I even feel a bit better today with all this Fassfever, :).

“…I’d like to spend a bit of time in New York…” Nicole is a keeper! 🙂

  20. Bellydancer says:

Now you see why I kept writing all that stuff about his ginger beard scratching up against my heaving mocha breasts (lol)I am really enjoying The Fass this week as he makes his studio rounds.

  21. Luda says:

I like him so much more now after seeing that interview!

  22. Issa says:

Fassbender & T.Hardy both love stroking their new facial hair. Read stroking a beard, the person subconsciously is trying to draw attention to their jawline. We get to play with our hair, maybe it’s their form of playing with their hair?

  23. Tiffany says:

I have a strange feeling in my neither regions at this photos. And I am panting at the screen, what is going on…

  24. Amanda_M87 says:

I like his mussed up hair. HOT.

  25. F5 says:

He needs to change dat foundation.. ugh would look bad even on a chick..

  26. bigt says:

I do think he is good looking in the face. I really do NOT get the hotness thing at ALL. His body is so small and skinny. Never really liked redheads. Enjoy him ladies, really would pass.

  27. Camille (The original) says:

    Yum.

I am so looking forward to seeing Prometheus this weekend. Can’t wait! Fassy on the big screen – yes please! 😀
