George Clooney and Stacy Keibler traveled to George’s Italian villa in Lake Como a week ago. I’ve seen some random photos of the couple here and there, but I was sort of surprised by how low-key everything has been. When George vacationed in Italy with Elisabetta Canalis, it sometimes felt like they were the president and first lady of Italy, or at least the most important celebrities IN Italy. But there hasn’t been much fanfare this time around. Some claim that this is Stacy’s first trip to Lake Como with George, but didn’t she come to Italy last year too? Right at the beginning, I believe – like, one day last summer Us Weekly and People Magazine got the official word that Stacy was George’s Newest Piece and Stacy went to Como for a few weeks to solidify it?
But – regardless of my sometimes faulty memory of the start of Cloons & Keibler, I do know that Stacy hasn’t been to Italy since then. When George and Stacy have gone on vacation together over the past 10 months or so, they’ve always gone to Mexico. Some think that George was trying to be nice to his ex, Elisabetta Canalis, by not shoving his new girlfriend in Eli’s face in her home country. Some think George might be kind of over Lake Como. I don’t know.
Anyway, these are new photos of Stacy and George riding around on one of his motorcycles in Lake Como. Did Elisabetta ever ride on the back of Clooney’s bike? I don’t remember her ever doing that. I do know that Sarah Larson did – remember how she fell off and broke her ankle? Stacy would never. She’s sporty and athletic and strong. She’s one of the boys. She can ride on the back of Clooney’s bike. And she was rewarded with a nice Italian vacay. Must be nice.

So true! Elisabetta and Sarah rode the motorcyle with Clooney in LA and Italy way way more often that ” the one”. Sarah and George even got in an accident where she showed up to one red carpet in crunches, right? No news here…

I was just going to write that!! I see something different between them that I haven’t seen with Clooney and the rest of the girls. I can’t quite place my finger on it. I think this would last longer too and she is growing on me.
Don’t try to place your finger on it ’cause just when you think you have the answer, there will be another lady with him on the motorcycle.
Nakli, I was going to say something similar. I just think that Clooney has a process, a timeline, whatever you want to call it. I believe there is a scheduled date for his relationships from the start with some flexibility built in for him depending on how bored he gets. I don’t believe there is any single action Stacey could take to earn a marriage certificate. She could be absolutely perfect, say all the right things, keep her mouth shut at all the right moments and it wouldn’t make a bit of difference. I think he operates on an arrogance that is beyond comprehension for most.
Stacy has done everything Elisebetta Canalis did. But Stacy has played the game better she isn’t silly enough to talk of marriage and babies it’s all about health for Stacy. I think they make a cute couple and she could be around for a long time to come. If Stacy keeps playing things the way she is she could end up with a ring.
i said that I think he would end up marrying her in a George’s forum and they thought I was crazy. Of course, I was being sarcastic, but since she seems a manipulative player, she will get it. For some reason, she is sold is all American girl type, but I just see her as the ultimate gold digger… I could be really wrong.

You really don’t listen to him, like Elisabetta didn’t. He isn’t going to marry anyone. He had a nice girl like Stacey he kept around for three years – Celine, and with Lisa Snowden from England off and on for many years. Off and on for years with Krista Allen. He married none of them. He just kept them longer because they were accomodating, like Stacy. If he ever does marry, you will see that glow in his eyes and that fluster around the woman when on the red carpet (like Alec Baldwin is with his girl – he’s over the moon.) George is downright flatlined with Stacy when they are on the red carpet or her name is mentioned. There was more excitement (a gleam in his eye and the way he was affectionate with her) when he was with Elisabetta.
Well, I think since the beginning she understands it’s all just for fun. It seems they both just enjoying the moment.
Same location, same routines, same staged photo opps, same entourage of friends, but different women. E did ride on back of the bike, like all the rest of them.

I wonder if Stacy ever stops to think ,”He takes me on the same vacations, we eat at the same restaurants , we take the same bike rides, I sleep in the same bed and use the a part of the closet like the other girls.” Iknow that would depress me.
I read someplace that she was flipped out about EC their first trip to Italy. Apparently EC is on tv a lot and it’s a small country. So after that they went to Cabo instead. Then Clooney got homesick for Italy and apparently she was comfortable enough that it didn’t bother her.
Um, I guess, glad they’re having fun?…but these photos embarass me.

Actually, I find her quite annoying. She has that fake looking smile and annoying voice. Her comments on the red carpet and her tweets make her sound like immature teenager.

It’s the same motorbike, and probably the same helmet. How sad.
She must have wrangled a contract extension. That’s the only reason I can see this relationship lasting much longer.
I’m jealous. I want to be in Italy right now. On topic, Stacy continues to beat the odds. I’ve said it before, this relationship seems stable. She isn’t rocking the boat. They are just enjoying each others’ company.

For some reason the Stacy George combo just doesn’t work on a purely appearance level. He’s still REALLY sexy but when he’s pictured with her, he looks like a little old man. Frankly, I wonder about all these 50+ Hollywood guys dating women young enough to be their daughters, (and let’s face it, while Stacy seems nice, she’s very young for her age), since all it really does is make the guys less attractive and older looking. Photos of George with friends or alone show him as the good looking man he still is. Switch to a pic of him with her even on the same day and he looks old and grumpy. If she lasts longer than others, it will only be cuz the guy is tired. Once he’s regained his strength, he’ll pick up the latest issue of Maxim and pick his next girl. Makes me sad for him.
Exactly! A young girlfriend just accentuates the fact he’s aging. He’s looking older for sure here, more like Harrison Ford or someone like that. Which is fine unless you go for the young-trophy-piece, which is just pathetic.
Every time I see pictures of these two together, he seems to be getting older and grumpy looking and she seems to be looking younger and perky like a puppy. They just don’t make it as couple for me.
I think Stacys just glad to have exceeded her rumored “expired by date” Going to Italy with George probably seems like or feels like a dream come true to her.

He is really looking like an old man lately and just wrong and desperate with this ‘young chick on the back of the Harley’ shtick, it might have been cool once (10yrs ago) but now its just a bit pathetic. Every single girlfriend has to sit on that bimbo seat at Como at least once during the summer so the paps can get their same-ol-same-ol photo. When we see him with a woman who has her own Harley that will be worth looking at.
I think George’s back problems have really taken a toll on him.

This whole thing with Keibler is humiliating and seriously sad. And more and more it looks like it is turning into a career killing couch jumping moment for Clooney when it did not have to be this way.
In contrast, someone like Paul Newman had a great long career without engaging in any of this PR BS that can only go horribly wrong when it is just so embarrassing and foolish looking.
