Here are some new photos of Gisele Bundchen in Porto Alegra in Brazil, shooting a C&A ad campaign. As you can see, that bulky sweater and strategically placed scarf are trying to hide her growing baby bump. It really seems like all of the Brazilian and American gossips were right – Gisele is pregnant with her second. Good for her. And can I just say? I think she’s prettier when she’s pregnant. I know Gisele gets a lot of criticism for not having a real “supermodel face” but when she’s filled out a bit (like in these photos), I think she’s incredibly beautiful. The added weight looks great on her, and her face doesn’t seem so angular.
Additionally, Gisele was named “the highest paid model” in the world by Forbes several days ago. Gisele had $45 million in earnings – just for May 2011 to May 2012. Kate Moss was ranked #2, with only $9 million in earnings for the same time period. So not only is Gisele the top-earning supermodel in the world, you could argue that no other model even comes close to creating the kind of firestorm and global headlines like Gisele. I think that’s probably Gisele’s answer to David Gandy, who criticized her a week ago. Gisele to Gandy: “SUCK IT. I’M RICH.”
Back to Gisele and her bump… Tom Brady was at a promotional event for Under Armour yesterday, and he talked a little bit about Gisele, his hair and whether they’re expecting. You can read the full thing here, and here are some highlights:
SI.com: I think the last time Hot Clicks had fun with your hair was a few weeks ago when you went to a fashion ball. You were rockin’ a faux hawk, I believe.
Brady: Yeah, it was. Just a little different haircut.SI.com: When it comes to the hair, do you go with what [wife] Gisele [Bundchen] likes or do you make the decisions on your own?
Brady: She likes pretty much what I like. She leaves it to me. Every man should know, if you’re comfortable and you like it, you should do it. Everyone always worries about what the girls think, what the guys think. If you like it, do it. To me, if you’re trying to impress a girl, get a date, they’re gonna like that more because you’re a confident guy. That’s what it comes down to.SI.com: Is there anything bad about being married to a supermodel?
Brady: [Laughing, followed by long pause] Um, it’s a marriage, so I have a life partner. Like most marriages, there’s a lot of give and take.SI.com: You mentioned you have two kids. There are rumors that you guys are having a third. I don’t know if you want to get into that or not.
Brady: I like working on it.SI.com: Do you really wear Uggs?
Brady: Damn right I do.SI.com: Have you gotten your teammates to wear Uggs?
Brady: Damn right I have.
So… Tom Brady was saying that the Met Gala fauxhawk was his idea? I don’t believe him. I do think Gisele makes suggestions about his hair. As for Tom’s non-confirmation, non-denial about Gisele’s pregnancy… I wonder what they’re waiting for? Maybe they don’t want to make a formal announcement?

When he had that Bieber ‘do a couple years back, he totally said it was her idea and she was happy with it so he wouldn’t cut it, even though it looked completely ridiculous. So yeah, Gisele owns his hair!

Gisele stays winning. Described as ugly, cos she does not resemble the archetypal Cali housewife/cheerleader like but bringing up the goods.
GAHHH. I don’t think she’s unattractive but her body is insane. I also think she looks better with a little weight on her face.
I usually don’t get her appeal either, but here, with the extra weight, her face is beautiful…absolutely! This is what they saw. Guess since I’m tall I don’t get the hype about those skinny undefined legs, but her hair and her face here, I can see it. Not liking that last chin tilt though
I told you. If Joyce Pascowitch (the woman who runs that Glamurama website) said Bündchen was pregnant, you could take that to the bank.

Of course she looks pretty here, she’s got on a ton of makeup. I bet I would transform with 5 pounds of makeup on too.
P.s. Gisele is a Leo, we think we’re gods. Adding money and fame to our massive egos makes us monsters. Case in point, Halle, Madonna, JLo, Whitney, need I say more. 🙂

Beauty is subjective. You may think she looks like a man, but it’s obvious from the millions she’s raking in that many more people see her as beautiful and most of all, marketable.
Gisele is more than a model now. She’s a brand, an image, she’s her own company. She lends her name and face to many businesses and products because there’s a demand for it.
See, in North America, Gisele may not be that popular. But in South America and other Asian countries? She’s huge. Her Ipanema business is booming and her work for Victoria’s Secret really put her name on the map. Even now, I know some people who still associate her with VS. She was their greatest ‘ambassador’ in terms of the worldwide attention she brought to the brand.
I was at Narita airport in Tokyo for a layover a month ago and Gisele’s face was everywhere. So many of her ad campaigns last season were still running and one long hallway was covered with her ads from Salvatore Ferragamo to Givenchy.
There’s a reason why designers and companies hire her over and over again: she sells, plain and simple. They won’t go for her if she’s not benefiting their brands.
Her face may not be conventionally beautiful, but she’s very striking. Her face is not one you can say is bland or generic, nor is it forgettable.
She’s easily the most recognizable model in the world.
I’m going to go out a limb here and say you’re a fan. Or her publicist.
I’m fairly neutral on Gisele myself and I have to agree with everything Sachi said. Gisele is as big as she is because she does have a different, recognizable look, and she knows how to market the hell out of herself. I don’t think she’s pretty, but I think she’s beautiful, if that makes sense to anyone else.

She may be a really awful person but you can’t really deny that she’s beautiful. Of course, she knows that. But still.
I can deny it, absolutely no problem at all. So, she’s got good genes and jeans, so do hundreds and thousands of other lucky chicas all around the world. What i can’t stand about her is that haughty so veddy veddy pleased with herself look of entitlement, it’s like she thinks the air smells better around her, just because she’s walking through it. And that my friend is what turns an otherwise good looking gal into an every day average snob who’d probably bore me silly talking about how much she believes in herself.

I used to think she was very pretty, but now am not so sure. She is a good model though but her earnings are nuts. I hope they are charitable and generous with all their good fortune.

one thing i do respect about her is her lack of “bling.” you don’t see her constantly flashy giant diamonds despite how wealthy they are. she usually just wears a simple gold wedding band.
