Look at me, I’m trying to win over all of you CW-watchers who love some Jared Padalecki. For the most part, I do ignore those Supernatural boys because A) I don’t watch the show, B) Whenever I pay attention to those boys, they always seem to be wearing pancake makeup, and C) I can never remember their names. But these photos won me over, because they’re part of our continuing series, “Buff dudes with great arms, holding tiny babies.”
In these photos, Jared (who just turned 30) is in Vancouver with his wife Genevieve Cortese and their son Thomas Colton Padalecki. Little Thomas (in the sunglasses!) is only four-and-a-half months old. He was born in March of this year. Jared, Genevieve and Thomas were headed to the Vancouver Food Truck festival yesterday in these photos – and little Thomas is wearing a Team USA Olympic t-shirt too. Cortese actually made a big deal about doing a natural birth with Thomas, and Jared joked that HE was the one who needed the epidural. Jared and Genevieve have been married since February 2010… kind of young for actors, right? Jared would have been… what? 27 years old when he married? Still, I haven’t heard anything scandalous about him, so maybe he’s just a really decent dude with a wife and son he adores.
Oh, and he IS hot. I stand corrected, ladies. Jared is giving me some Chris Hemsworth vibes in these photos.

A former friend of mine is absolutely crazy about Supernatural, Jared and Jensen Ackles. Her Fandom has cost her a lot of money and she owes the bank by now something about 50.000,- Euros plus interest rate that is 60.000,- Euros. Can you believe it? And she still travels to these fan conventions and pays a lot of money just to be on a photograph with these two. Really nuts!

Totally! My former roommate got me into Gilmore Girls in the last few seasons, so i had to speed through the first ones and I was ALWAYS so angry when she dumped him for Jess. Anyone could see that Dean was the perfect boyfriend 🙂
Well don’t yell at me now but I was never that impressed. He seemed controlling and possessive. But that does not mean I’m Team Jess either. Jess was aggravating. But so was Rory herself often, so they kind of deserved each-other.

OMG, so cute! I love Supernatural. It’s gotten a bit weak lately, but they’re doing some shifting around and I hope they’re going to bring it again next season. I’m not usually a Jared girl (I’m a Cas/Misha fan), but I love seeing him with his family. Baby AND dog! Love a man with a baby *and* dog.

Stupid pleased to see a Jared post. And while I’m not a Cw fan, I can definetly recommend Supernatural. I had my predjudices about it being a teen-centric show and teased my lawyer boyfriend, who loves all horror genre craptastic -ness, for watching it. Back then I would refer to Jensen Ackles ‘ character as “Ryan Seacrest ” and asked why he was hunting werewolves… Anyhoo. The joke turned out to be on me as I became a huge fan of both Jensen and Supernatural. That show has heart. If you ever find yourself with a lazy afternoon alone with Netflix, give it a try.

Supernatural surprised me. There’s been some very clever ideas and the banter between Jared and Jensen gives it a lightness it really needs.
Won’t watch it at night or on my own though, I’m a giant wimp!
Honestly, I really agree and wish more people would give it a chance. There are definitely some silly moments (though even those are kind of knowingly self-mocking–the writers are in on the joke). But overall, the writing is damn smart and the subjects the show explores are fascinating. It’s an addictive show. Kind of like Buffy but with more testosterone.
Love Supernatural, but my fave is Misha Collins (Castiel), then Jensen, then Jared. You need some pics of Misha Collins.
