Amid all the big scandals this summer and the thrill of the Olympics, I forgot that Giuliana Rancic is expecting a baby via surrogate. That’s what happens when big news dominates the gossip world, the C and D listers get pushed to the bottom. Well Giuliana is here to remind us that she has a baby coming. Since she’s a reality star and also works on the Kardashian Network, aka E!, she’s besties with Kris Jenner. So who better to get advice from than the ultimate stage mom herself? Kris is helping Giuliana learn how to turn her offspring into a little money-maker from the moment he’s born.
“Kris Jenner is like my second mother,” Giuliana, 36, raved to Us Weekly at a Wednesday TCA event promoting her new NBC series, Ready for Love. Calling the fellow E! star and Kardashian-Jenner family matriarch “amazing,” Giuliana explains that Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian’s mama is already doling out her best tips. “Kris gives me the greatest advice. You’ll email her one question, one line, and she’ll respond in four paragraphs. She’s the most thorough, amazing woman.”
In addition to prepping Giuliana for motherhood, Jenner, 56, is also encouraging Baby Rancic to be active in his early years.
“She sent the best gifts for the baby: the cutest clothes from Ralph Lauren, [including] Olympic polos from the London Olympics that have the Olympic emblem,” Giuliana tells Us. “I thought ‘wow, my kid is going to have an Olympic shirt from Bruce Jenner?’ That’s pretty cool. And she sent Baby’s First Golf Clubs! Bill died when he saw that.”
Though their son will already have his own clubs at birth, Bill isn’t going to force his boy to hit the links.
“I hope I’m half as good a dad as my dad was to me,” Giuliana’s Ready for Love cohost hubby, 41, explains. “My dad was very patient. He never forced me to do anything — play sports — but he encouraged me to do it. And I’m glad that he did because I think that’s been a big factor in who I’ve become, the man that I’ve become today.”

Giuliana should also talk to Kate Gosselin to get an idea of how the tide turns once the cameras are off. This is Giuliana’s priority, she wants to know how to turn her family into an empire like the Kardashians. She’s been working on it through her own reality show, lifestyle brand, and now she’s even got a fashion line, G by Giuliana that she’s about to hawk on HSN. Of course she does. USA Today has some sample pieces from Giuliana’s line, and they’re fug. She has an animal print jacket and a faux fur vest, both of which retail for $130. I’m going to say something bitchy, which is my prerogative, I don’t see Giuliana as the most hands-on mom, which is fine. Bill will probably be doing most of the parenting, along with the nanny they hire with strict instructions not to be seen by the public.

I used to think that perhaps she is just naturally skinny. That was until I saw some pics of her from her early days. This just made me sad because I came to the realisation that she has major eatIng & over excising issues. Its just sad !
I always stuck up for her (I suffered torment for being naturally thin as well), but then I also saw “before” photos of her and then happened to see some of get blog posts on her diet. It goes beyond healthy eating and straight to obsession. I mean she would say things like she would lie to chefs when out to eat…that she was allergic to butter so that they would only use a light mist of olive oil for her egg white-only meal. To save a few calories. Her meal plans are sad to look at and I’m all for eating healthy. I hope the baby makes her more grounded as she seems genuinely nice.
Good thing she’s having a boy. Hopefully the baby will model his eating habits after his father.
She should hit up Octomom for advice too, since she’s apparently on an “awesome judgment” roll.

I really sympathized with her (I have my own fertility issues) for a while, but she’s just so vapid and shallow. I hope motherhood grounds her; after all, babies are not props.

I’m a bit saddened by some of the comments on this piece. Anorexia, or any other eating disorder, is a serious and legitimate disorder, and I do not understand why someone suffering from it would be a reason to dislike them. Even if she doesn’t have an eating disorder (perhaps she just suffers from disordered eating, if you must judge), she lives and works in an environment that values extreme thinness in women over anything else (insert she *chose* this life argument here). It just seems odd that her very thin appearance would inspire such ire. I feel like with ultra thin women in entertainment, don’t hate the player, hate the game. Or elect not to hate at all.
That way of thinking will never get a person the proper help they deserve. You’re justifying her illness with her environment. My criticism stems from her not valuing what truly matters after everything she’s been through. Being able to say that Kris Jenner is like your second mom or being in the C list spotlight takes precedence over your health? As with any ill person, her loved ones should step in & be the mirror that she turns away from.
So the commenting section on a gossip site is where women go to “get help” for serious disorders we armchair diagnosed by sh!tting all over the way they look? How do you know what she truly values? Have you even seen her in person? It just sounds like classic concern trolling to me.
With the exception of few, I don’t think anyone is sh**ing on her looks, as you so eloquently put it, instead they seem horrified as to how unhealthy she looks. I don’t persume to know exactly what she values but I formed my opinion of her after her interview on the View & from her own comments on her show & blog. Nope, I get it too- when I used to watch in the early episodes; don’t watch E at all anymore because of the K family and this noxious bitch promoting her eating disorders. Last year she got everyone’s pity vote for the cancer scare, and I do sympathize with anyone going through the surgery/treatments, but the truth is this woman is the fakest fake out there.

I am guessing that Bella is saying that because of a couple of reasons, although there is no template of course. I have sons and a daughter. The daughter is instinctively like me, in things I feel I know I didn’t teach or expose to her. Talents even, that I haven’t had the time to expose to her due to being a working mom of young children and a wife. But the little OCD tendencies even. (Unless I expose them..lol). They boys, not as much, and they just are not as emotionally wired, simply a gender thing. I probably am not explaining it, sorry, but I kind of think I know what she means. Especially if she seems like she is going to be soooo busy with her career or hanging out with the Kardashians. It is not like coming home from work like you and I do. Wow can’t believe you would think that. Did you not see her show? They showed the surgery, her parent’s were devastated. It was real…who would lie about a horrible thing like that? Her show had a lot of viewers already, she didn’t need to pretend to be sick in order to get ratings.
Wow. I just lost all respect for that woman. As a breat cancer survivor I felt for her, but saying Kris Jenner is anything other than a pimp who whores our her children shows that she is completely clueless. I will give her the benefit of the doubt that she did not fake cancer. That is the lowest of the low.
