Oh, right. New photos of Michael Fassbender, looking much better than we last saw him, which was last week. He was in Alicante, Spain last week, and these photos are from the same place as well. He’s still filming The Counselor there, although these pics are of Fassy having a “day off”. These are his “day off” clothes. As I’ve said before, I’m not hot for the dude because he’s so amazingly stylish or anything. If anything, I think this is probably why Fassy is always dropping trou in his films – because he’s not the best dresser, and most of his clothes look weird on him.
Now, all that being said, he looks so much better here than in the last candid photos we had of him. He’s making my biscuits tingle anew. I think it’s because I like/love his legs. I want to lick them. Is that wrong? I don’t even care about his flip-flops (Karl Lagerfeld just had a hissy fit). I wear flip-flops too! Flip-flops unite!! God, his legs. Mm. Imagine Archie Panjabi licking his legs. RIGHT? Hot.

That is actually a reverse farmer’s tan. Orange feet. Odd.
It looks like it is only his ankles that are tan, which is extremely odd.
EDIT: Just realized that this probably proves old Karl’s point. You would never know about that odd tan with regular shoes.

I used to love Havaianas. I bought four pairs (one of which was customized–I stood in line for hours and I was exhausted by the time it was over) until I finally got over the hype after a couple of years.
It was introduced to our side of the planet back in 2006 and I could still remember the craze… I remember the looong queues outside their stores and people coming out with 2, 3 even 4 bags.
Now I just look at them as expensive, overrated footwear. I think they’re just as comfy as your regular flip-flops. I realize I only bought them because of the brand name. I still like wearing them though, I’ve worn out two of them already 😉
Ahhh, the hype (abroad). That’s what made them expensive here…I used to buy Havaianas for 3 bucks (tops) when I was a kid.
Now they come in so many different colours and models (and prices), I have to think twice before buying a new pair. But I still love them 😀 (they’re great for showers — the rippled soles prevent you from slipping, and for the beach).
3 bucks??! WOW. The starting price for the tops here was 16 bucks. The customized ones and Havaianas high go for around 35.

Yup. They were really cheap in the 80s — and were deemed something like “poor people’s footwear”.
Then they became trendy — tourists went crazy over them, thus making them more expensive for us.
P.S.: here you can still find, in small shops, some (simpler) models for 3 dollars.

They were…once. In the 80s and early 90s. Now they’re rather expensive, really poor people buy Havaianas knockoffs.
I wouldn’t call them a “status symbol” now, but they’ve certainly become “special”. They even have showroom/ specialized stores now (in expensive malls).

My former boyfriend worked on Wall Street and when he came home he couldn’t wait to take off the monkey suit and kick back in a pair of sweats or shorts. But no flip flops though; sorry I can’t give an excuse for those.

Yep, it is. In photos from filming, it was obvious that his face, neck, and hands were covered in orange-ish make-up. He probably just forgot that his feet had been done too.

I think his proportions are really weird too, his legs are really really short. Sometimes I think theres something off about the proportions of his torso too, like his waist is abnormally tiny and its a bit weird combined with his droopy sloping shoulders, I cant explain it.
