Chris Brown & Karrueche Tran officially split, now he’s back with Rihanna

Well, it’s official now. Chris Brown confirmed to Us Weekly that he and Karrueche Tran are over. I assumed as much yesterday, when I discussed the reports that Chris and Rihanna had been hooking up in the bathroom of a NYC club. To be fair, I think Chris and Rihanna have been hooking up this whole time, maybe off and on for a year and a half or so. And Karrueche stuck by him, perhaps thinking that she was the one Chris really loved or whatever. Also: it kind of sounds like Chris dumped Karrueche, and he did it FOR Rihanna.

Chris Brown is officially back on the market. After a complicated year-long romance, the “Don’t Wake Me Up” singer, 23, and aspiring model Karrueche Tran have ended their romance.

“I have decided to be single to focus on my career,” Brown tells Us Weekly. “I love Karrueche very much but I don’t want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna. I’d rather be single allowing us to both be happy in our lives.”

Indeed, Tran, 23, entered the public spotlight in February of this year –after Us Weekly broke news that Brown was secretly hooking up with his most famous ex-girlfriend Rihanna, 24. “She definitely chased Chris, and it worked! He was really into her in the beginning,” a source told Us at the time of the couple.

As reports of Brown and Rihanna’s secret trysts continued to emerge throughout 2012, the two women frequently swapped insults over Twitter; according to sources, Tran has long been aware of Brown’s cheating.

Things came to a head last month, when Brown (who assaulted Rihanna in February 2009) kissed Rihanna on the lips in front of a huge crowd at the MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles. The photographed smooch “totally pissed off” Tran, a source told Us.

“She felt the kiss was a public slap in the face . . . Seeing him with Rihanna at such a public event made her very angry.” (Rihanna also opened up about Brown in an emotional Aug. 19 interview with Oprah Winfrey on Oprah’s Next Chapter, calling the singer “the love of my life.”

This past week, Rihanna and Brown were spotting making out at an NYC club — and having an affectionate date at a Wednesday Jay-Z concert in Brooklyn.

Of the announced split, a pal says: “Chris really wants to be free to pursue Rihanna now that she wants him back. They will be together, trust me. I always told you he’d go back to Rihanna in a heartbeat when she was ready.”

[From Us Weekly]

“I have decided to be single to focus on my career”? Bitch please. And then in the next breath he mentions Rihanna. He and Rihanna are SO back together, and now it’s just official. Last night, they were even spotted together at a Jay-Z concert. An Instagram photo of them is included below – Us Weekly describes them as “cuddled up”. Ugh. I don’t have words for how disgusting and wrong this entire situation is.

Rihanna is stupid, and Karrueche may not ever realize just how lucky she is this happened.

  2. k says:

Congratulations, Karrueche. You dodged a major bullet.

  3. Brown says:

God, this is so sad. So gross and so sad. The only good thing is that at least now Karrueche isn’t in danger of having her face bashed in.

Good luck, Rhianna. Hope he doesn’t kill you.

  4. PrettyTarheel says:

Well, balls. I’m going to go get a drink.

  5. Jenna says:

He’s a douche and so is Rihanna. I can’t even bring myself to force any sympathy for that girl. Whatever.

  6. ladybert62 says:

And Ms. Tran is a much safer and probably saner person with this nutty man out of her life.

He has been double dipping for some time and Ms. Trans was probably in denial about it all

Hopefully Ms. Tran will get checked and treated for all the possible STDs that Ms. Rhianna and Mr. Brown probably conveyed to Ms. Tran!

  7. Relli says:

“By my heel, I care not.”

  8. Angela says:

I bet they will have a Vegas wedding soon

  9. SueD says:

They are like two moronic magnets. But this time the attraction may be fatal.

  10. samira25 says:

Not shocking at all. Not sure why Rihanna would go back to him. Not only will he abuse her again but will definitely cheat.

  11. NerdMomma says:

All I can say is, good for Tran. She is well out of it. I hope she finds a little slice of a career out of this, since it looks like she put up with a ton of sh*t for a long time.

  12. Grace says:

Karrueche was the lucky one. She’d better take STD tests now though. Chris and Rihanna have Sid and Nancy (or Blake and Amy) written all over them. It’s going to be awful when Chris cheats(or beats) on Rihanna again because she’s getting no sympathy.
Where are any of these people’s parents? Have they just given up on their kids? Chris’ mama,Rihanna’s mama, and Karrueche’s mama all need to be smacked for raising such awful children and allowing the madness to continue.I don’t mention the fathers because of course all of their fathers are trash.

  13. Ruyana says:

Oh, Rhianna! FFS. If a guy hits you once he’ll hit you again! Afraid you’re going to “get it” the hard way.

  14. Sookie says:

He and Rihanna are both famous train wrecks. They are destined to be together

  15. Kim says:

To all the hypocrites who have ever gotten back together with an ex who verbally, emotionally, or psychologically abused them, cheated on them…. pot meet kettle.Emotional and verbal abuse is just as damaging to your spirit as physical abuse so if this reunion is disgusting so is anyone who gets back with a cheating ex or an ex who has ever degraded you verbally, sexually, etc Pot meet kettle. If you have never gottten back with an ex who mistreated or abused you feel free to judge.I have so I will not judge her. When I finally knew better I did better and it took me many years

    • k says:

Kim, what you say is true. I would add that those closest to Rihanna are either totally enabling her or cannot persuade her to get the help she needs. It seems like her father was one nasty person, so abuse is what she knows.

    • claire says:

It does often take many times to leave a domestic abuse situation. Often, though, it’s due to believing the brainwashing from the abuser, an attempt to protect others the abuser’s threatened, or a lack of resources. In Rihanna’s case, she’s got ALL the resources, financially, etc., to stay away from this guy. So it’s really sad to see her go back. She must believe he’s actually changed or she just doesn’t have the esteem to believe she can do better. It just sucks. She’s got girls who look up to her. It’s pretty freaking rare for a batterer to change, so I’ll just wish the best for her that she comes to her senses before he beats her again.

      • Riana says:

ALL the resources in the world doesn’t change anything however.

People who expect more from her believe that money changes people or makes someone a better person than they already are. When clearly…celebrity gossip being what it is we know that’s not true.

This girl is who she was born to be, sadly. She has the total checklist of a woman who would continue to repeat her cycle of abuse and the fact people are mad at her is because she proves close to nothing changes for an abused woman until she is ready to accept a better life for herself.

    • Mela says:

Rhianna is pathetic for going back to Chris Brown. who hasn’t been pathetic in a relationship before? doesn’t change the fact this trick is pathetic and trashy and stupid. it is what it is.

  16. BlackMamba says:

I had to come out of new mommyland to comment on this because damn it I love a good ChRihanna story. I cannot believe how CB just humiliated KT in that statement, he not only admits to the world that he dumped her but also that he did it for RiRi. Ouch! CB is a CLASS A DOUCHE and he proves it at every turn.

P.S.: I’m really ashamed that I’ve been so entertain by that CB/RiRi/KT story, I’ve been on it since monday ***hang head in shame***

  17. dooliloo says:

“I love Karrueche very much but I don’t want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna. I’d rather be single allowing us to both be happy in our lives”

Well he certainly reinforces the fact that not only he’s an ultimate douche but also his PR team is as dumb as a cup of mushy peas, hence the IQ of a ravioli; by writing such a dumb statement and expecting people to believe it’s the reason why? OK…

    • Jay says:

Well, it’s not a very rational statement. Taken at face value, he says he loves Tran, and that Rihanna is a friend. He can’t have both so which will he stop seeing? I don’t even know why some people have PR people in the first place. The bold face lies don’t even border on plausible sometimes.

  18. Skins says:

Lets be happy. These 2 lowlifes deserve each other.

  19. TheOriginalKitten says:

He looks like the stuff I plunged out of the kitchen sink this AM.

  20. mln89 says:

i’m just going to repeat myself: i am not going to judge rihanna because it usually takes domestic violence victims seven times to finally leave their abusive partners. i truly think it was public pressure that made her break up with chris, rather then it really being her own decision. she’s like a child who is told they can’t have something; the object that is withheld becomes even more desirable. i believe that she feels like they have unfinished business, and that she has waited until a “socially acceptable” time to get back together with him and see what would happen if their relationship was really allowed to run it’s course (although i don’t know if she realizes there will never be a socially acceptable time for those two to be in a relationship). anyway, i’m disappointed but i refuse to blame an abuse victim for being abused or exhibiting dysfunctional behavior with their abuser. i mean, hello! isn’t that the nature of domestic abuse?

  21. skuddles says:

Well there were heavy rumors that Brown forced Tran to watch him have sex with other people (women and men) on a regular basis, and that he also hit her at times too. So yes, Karrueche should count herself very lucky to have him out of her life. As for RiRi, she’ll undoubtedly find out what a POS Brown is the hard way – again. But I suspect he’ll be on his best behavior until she marries his skeevy ass. Whatever happens though, guaranteed it will NOT end well.

  22. eileen says:

Sorry-this might ruffle feathers, but if he beats her again, I can’t feel too sorry for her. I know she’s the victim, but she had a clean break for how long? And in all her travels she couldn’t find someone better than this POS?
I’m removing myself from anything she sells because what I listen to my kids listen to and I never want to find myself having to explain that mess. SMDH

  23. Sweet Dee says:

Karrueche Tran: bulimia jaw? Just wondering, but I hope not.

I hope KT wises up and chalks this up to “the stupid kinds of guys I used to date in my early 20′s,” finding herself with a winner one day. Really.

  24. tabby says:

To be honest, I don’t give a shit about them. Please stop bringing them up. They are useless.

  25. Elisabeth says:

“Wow Rhianna, getting back with Chris, this is a great idea” ~said no one ever

  26. Jezi says:

What’s he going to do about his Karrueche Tran tattoo? I mean didn’t he tattoo her face on his body? That is going to be a problem for Rihanna no doubt. I’m glad that Karrueche got dumped, she has the opportunity now to find someone who is going to treat her right. She will realize that one day. Chris and Rihanna deserve each other. That’s going to be one drama filled relationship.

  27. A. says:

The man beat the sh*t out of you and moved on, literally, in a blink of an eye.
If you can’t see that you’re beeing used for publicity (ka-ching) then I don’t know what.

  28. Guest says:

Now the regular updates and caustic comments about the low lying fruit from the perfect people …..

  29. hairball says:

Both of them are GROSS period.

He in particular is SO gross, I mean, like vomit inducing gross. Just looking at his face is enough to make me hurl.

  30. andy says:

Rihanna and Chris are the new and less talented, Ike and Tina.

  31. MaggieOwns says:

I think it’s pretty bold of CB to show up at a Jay-Z concert considering how much he (publicly) hates CB. I’ll be interested to see how long Jay puts up with RihRih destructive behavior before he drops her from the label.

    • YEP_ITS_HER says:

Rihanna is not signed to his record label, she has a management deal with his company, Roc nation. Remember Jay Z is first and foremost a business man (And part time rapper). He may really care for Rih and her well being or he may not actually really give a shit.Who knows? But all this pr’d ‘Jay Z won’t approve’, blah blah makes me laugh. As if he is her father. Lol. Rihanna’s tour netted £100 million last year. Call me cynical but if she maintains her popularity, despite this new controversy and continues making £100 million + from touring alone, I don’t think he will have any issues about still working with her. Regardless of her chosen boyfriend.

  32. says:

CB is a vomit-inducing POS but Rihanna is pretty sh!tty herself. Not only does she go back to the man who beat the crap out of her but on top of that, she relentlessly pursued a man in a relationship.

  33. KJ says:

They’ve been back together for a while, but both of them knew the public wouldn’t allow it. That’s why over the past year, there have been signs left and right. Little things like ending up on a yacht together, CBs mom saying she still talks to Rihanna regularly, the Oprah interview, the VMAs, I could go on. It was all designed to get the public used to the inevitable.

Unfortunately for Rihanna, she can’t see that he hasn’t changed one bit. He cheated on Kae through their entire relationship, just like he did with Rihanna. I don’t know how she thinks this is going to work out this time. He’s definitely going to stray and, god forbid, the violence may come up again. They both grew up with abusive homes and violent family lives, and I honestly believe they both have passion and violence confused. Neither of them has really been loved by someone who doesn’t also hurt them, so unless they’ve both been doing intense therapy, this won’t end well.

    • YEP_ITS_HER says:

So agree. People, as per usual making disparaging remarks about Rihanna (The victim) have zero clue about the cycle of domestic violence. People need to stop holding celebs to a higher standard. They are flawed just as we all are. Normal women go back to their abusers in all walks of life. This situation proves it. It’s sad, no doubt but its life.

  34. Stay-Cee says:

I’m just glad she isn’t with matt kemp , he deserves better than that trashy whore . her and chris are the perfect match in hell :p

  35. lucy2 says:

I can’t feel too sorry for that Tran chick, if she was dumb enough to be with him to begin with.

I felt bad for Rihanna for a while, but no more. She had a lot of time away from him, the whole world telling her to avoid him, and a million options that most abused women don’t, and she still chose to go back.

  36. AG says:

Well … good luck to them, is all I can say.

  37. Tanya says:

so now that the slight ‘thrill’ of sneaking around is probably over and they can be a ‘normal’ couple, out in the world..monotony will kick in, and fast…THAT is when, given a few months, or a year, abuse will start. He’ll eventually be looking at other women…she’ll freak…he’ll darken over with those ‘dead eyes’ she spoke of in an interview once, and he will explode in a rage over being questioned, nagged at ..whatever….

  38. mar says:

At the end of the day, it is none of our business. We can all sit round all day and judge them, but people will do what they want, and it is possible that SOME ( not all) do learn from their mistakes.

  39. tru tru says:

yeah, I can’t get all riled up by this.

Chris was rebound and Karrache fell right in–plus he had those charges.

she nds therapy for even getting w/him right after all of that.

I’m not gonna go all crazy about Rihanna and Chris, its nothing I can do.

I hope they both get counseling together during their whole THANG that they have going on.

  40. pinchofsalt says:

Rihanna could have chosen to be a role model for the many abused women out there by walking away from Chris Brown and behaving in a way that could have inspired women in similar situations to walk away from the sadness and brutality in their lives. I find it so sad that she chose the opposite, ‘advocating’ that abuse is actually okay. In a sense, this is such a step backwards for women everywhere as Rihanna could have changed lives for the better. Guess not.

    • Riana says:

Much like with children I always think it’s a mistake when you expect a celebrity to fulfill any role for other people. Some will and it makes them great people, but ultimately expecting another human being (especially a screwed up one like Rihanna) to be on their best behavior…never works out.

Rihanna should have stepped away from Chris for her own good not because she could have been a symbol for other women. Ultimately she’s too screwed up NOT to be with Chris and anyone who was dependig on her to get themselves out of their own abusive situation was mistaken.

      • pinchofsalt says:

I agree with what you’ve said, but she has/had the power to have made a difference. Not only for herself, but for so many women in similar situations. Domestic violence is so rife and so tragic. People need role models desperately.

      • Riana says:

I know, she could have really have been a force for good for the women and the issue of domestic violence.

BUT – and this is what I mean. Look at all other aspects of Rihanna’s life not relating to Chris.

She does drugs. She drinks. She behaves wildly. She lives life on the fringe and doesn’t care about her reputation or what her actions cost her. Say the wrong word and she’s lashing out wildly.

She was NOT going to help anyone, she’s barely in a place to help herself. She’s a child of abuse who’s family thinks she should get back with her abuser.

Every single thing about Rihanna spells a woman who will get back with her abuser, find another abuser, engage in wild and promiscuous sex and unhealthy relationships. I think blaming her is like picking any single abused woman and then saying “Okay now you represent all abused women and live your life as a motivation to them.” It would backfire the same way it did with Rihanna.

  41. Barbara says:

I so don’t care about any of these people. Rihanna loves the drama, she is welcome to it.

  42. pau says:

I am really, really disappointed but unfortunately not surprised. I suppose she stopped caring about how this will affect her personal and business relationships as well as her public persona.

    • MorticiansDoItDeader says:

I think getting back with Chris is bad news and bad business. He, on the other hand, will probably get a positive boost from the reunion because people will believe that she wouldn’t be back with him if he were such a bad guy.

  43. Rin says:

I don’t like Chris Brown and I don’t like Rihanna, but I do believe people can change. He was under 20, the court ordered therapy…he’s too high profile to fight again and no one heard about him slapping the crap out of Tran.

Meh. If people can quit smoking people can quit violence.

    • Annie says:

People CAN quit violence, but statistically they are the minority. Just because a few change doesn’t mean that “once an abuser always an abuser” doesn’t hold as a general rule. Rihanna, whether she likes it or not is a role model for many young girls out there, which is why getting back with Chris is such a terrible idea. Even if Chris *has* changed it still sends out the wrong message. Chris may have changed, but all his recent behavior, like angriliy snatching that woman’s phone suggests he’s still the exact same misogynistic asshole. I don’t personally believe he’s changed, and I think he’ll beat her again at some point.

  44. lem says:

I get the feeling that it was really KT that broke up with CB (rightfully so) and his ego couldn’t take it, so he released the statement that he chose his “friendship” with Ri over his relationship with KT.

  45. Camille (TheOriginal) says:

The word ‘disgusting’ pretty much covers this whole situation, not to mention the words ‘revolting’ and ‘disappointing’. SMDH

  46. diva says:

This shouldn’t surprise anyone. If it was for the public opinion when the incident happened they would have stayed together. They never got closure on their OWN terms. This was a long time coming.

“I always told you he’d go back to Rihanna in a heartbeat when she was ready.”
Ugh, that just sounds SO wrong..

  51. G says:

Oh please KT will be with the next hip hop/rapper/R&B singer in 3…2…1…

  52. Mrs. Darcy says:

Barf. Not being flip, this genuinely makes me ill. And sad. I get the people saying “no sympathy” but god forbid it happens again it is only going to be worse, like O.J. worse. He didn’t slap her or shove her, he beat her to a bloody pulp, the man has no off button and it is shocking how many people think this is “true love”. Ugh :-( (((((

  53. Rux says:

I am happy for Tran because in due time, she would have been the next violent target for Brown.

On a side note, Rihanna, for all her I want to be different, unique, one of a kind, independent, powerful, etc. — blah, blah, blah — just made herself a statistic and a poor one at that.

Her and Brown will end badly — violently badly.

  54. Jaded says:

I think Chris Brown is a borderline sociopath, so deeply inculcated into the violent rap/hip-hop black world of bling, bimbos and bust-ups that he is beyond help. Hell, he’s made millions by acting like a misogynistic a$$hole so life is good.

Rihanna, on the other hand, is simply damaged goods who doesn’t have the intelligence to get herself on the right track and is falling prey to an evil culture that perpetuates the treatment of women as nothing more than cattle.

Where is her good friend Katy Perry in all of this? She’s always yapping on about girl power like some new-age Spice Girl, or is that too just a facade that tries to legitimize nothing more than blatant, in-your-face crude sexual stereotypes?

In any event, Rihanna needs years of counselling to come to grips with her emotional and mental issues, but now that she’s back into the clutches of a woman-beater, I don’t think that will ever happen.

    • lisa2 says:

Violence is not just in the “hip-hop black world of bling”

if you seriously think domestic violence is not in the “white world too’ then you need to get your head out of your butt. I find that whole description offensive and a bit racist. What Chris did was beyond horrible. But if you think that he is the only one that has done this in Hollywood yeah. I could name quite a few male stars that have been accused of beating women and yet the women on this site go on and on about how hot they are. How they want them. All because they don’t have picture proof. I don’t support him (Chris) or defend his actions. but for some reason the hate directed towards him has an undertone that is a bit much for me. We have see none black celebrities that have done this and far worst and they are not judged to the same degree. As I said before Rihanna and Chris both have issues and hopefully when they break up again they will both seek more treatment. But all this talk about his race has nothing to do with anything.

Doctors, judges, teachers, athletes, Religious leaders, Gosh the list goes on have all been abusers.

    • zenb!tch says:

Having been the Katy Perry in a situation that honestly makes this one look like a fairy tale (based on the details I know); there is nothing Katy or any of her other friends or family can do. As a friend you either sit there and stop saying anything because its like talking to a wall or you distance yourself when you can’t take watching it anymore.

I am still friends with this girl but not as close as we were before $ hit the fan, because I can’t be in the same room as the Chris without wanting to do to him what I know he does to her.

This one never gets the face. He’s not as dumb as Chris Brown.

    • mln89 says:

@jaded- i can barely articulate how offensive, inane, and just plain RACIST your comment was. what in the blue f..k does domestic violence have to do with being black and being involved in hip hop? not only are you ignorant and imbecilic enough to believe wholesale in what the t.v. tells you about black people, you repeated those tired, false, and RACIST stereotypes HERE as though they were valid, factual, and had something to do with THIS situation because these are young black entertainers. i just can’t with people like you. domestic violence and misogyny are present in EVERY single racial/ ethnic group and economic strata. every. single. one. get a f..king clue.

    • belly says:

I don’t think it was meant to be that offensive. There is a definite subculture that @Jaded was trying to identify, but missed the mark. It is never a good idea to try to associate a negative stereotype with any particular race, unless you want your arse handed to you.

  55. judyjudy says:

For someone with such a high opinion of herself, Rhianna sure has a low opinion of herself.

  56. xoxokaligrl says:

Wow, soo shocking, two industry created tools are making unintelligent decisions.

  57. lisa2 says:

The only reason Rihanna and Chris broke up is because of the media and public perception. If they had been just some John or Jane Doe they would have been together right after the incident. Which they actually were. They didn’t break up because they wanted to. They did it because of the public. So now after some time they are doing what unfortunately many many couples in this situation do. Get back together. I doubt it will last, and in all honesty I don’t think he will hit or abuse her again. They will go through the break up cycle they would have gone through before he beat her. Sad but the didn’t close the relationship.

And like it or not, understand it or not He wants her and she wants him. It could be that you and me against the world. They have so many people looking at them angry and saying stay away. And that just makes them want each other more. Wanting to prove to everyone that they were “meant” to be. That they are the ones that disprove the rules. People need to just stop caring. They don’t care what anyone says and so people should get over it.

  58. Sam x says:

As long as they both remain in the Hollywood bubble surrounded by handlers, yes people, hangers on etc they probably won’t get the help they both need away from the spotlight plus the label are only interested in making money out of them not their wellbeing. They’re like a damaged Romeo and Juliet.

  59. zenb!tch says:

“I love Karrueche very much but I don’t want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna. I’d rather be single allowing us to both be happy in our lives.”

If it was a “friendship” why should she be “hurt” by it? She’s a grown woman and some men are friends with their exes. Although not usually the exes they beat up on.

This is code for “K wasn’t putting up with me f*cking Rhianna so I could beat her and get more publicity since I decided to reinvent myself as a thug since it’s who a I am and also oddly more lucrative. that and K had some weird hygiene issues and never wanted to put out in nightclub bathrooms.”

I can’t believe I thought he was good looking for a kid once.

  60. Newtsgal says:

I can’t decide if Chris & Rhianna are the new Ike & Tina or are they the new Whitney & Bobby?
Also if he cheats with you, he will cheat on you. And if he hit you once he WILL hit you again.

  61. ShugAveryPee says:

Not sure why anyone had simply for her anyway…. She even admitted on Diane Sawyer that there was violence in the relationship on both ends… I am sure she hit him in the car that night over whoever he was cheating with… And her second album had soo much violence in it .. she herself has a dark side… Sorry but most women who run back to abusive men (especially) when they do not have to usually has something in them that likes that kind of treatment… believe me i do not understand it at all…. I could NEVER love a man who hit me… I would only feel bad for her if she was married with kids and no money… and even then you have seen women sleep in shelters to get away … Honestly she would have never left Chris had the media & record exe’s not forced her to to protect her image… cause at that time young women were her audience… They never stopped messing around …. At this point she has to touch the fire to know it is hot.. if any woman gets hit and goes back then they know what they are in for… she is an adult and it is her decision….

I thought the reason they stayed apart had to do with his probation not saying public opinion didn’t have a part in it but didn’t the judge slap him with a 5 year no contact with his victim?
unless they both have matured she will no doubt at some point through her actions or words trigger him again & sadly she will feel that fist. I want to be wrong.

While I suspect Chris Brown isn’t one of them, some people do actually change. I hope no-one on this thread who asserts that it’s “once a beater always a beater” never does anything wrong, you’ll be forever condemned apparently. I also hope that if I ever do something wrong those folks aren’t on my jury.

  64. belly says:

Oh, for f@cks sake. All I can say is stupid is as stupid does. I wish they would just go the hell away, I’m utterly nauseated at the thought of the pair of them now.

  66. Lady_Luck says:

This is beyond disgusting. The pair of them are just beyond revolting, moral-devoid creatures from hell.

  67. Adrien says:

Why are you posting pictures of Sisqó on a Chris Brown article?

  68. Mika says:

Story of my life. I kinda understand Rihanna. Sad still

    They deserve each other.

  70. Anon73 says:

i know this is not PC… but does anyone ever wonder if Rihanna did not overblow her “victim” aspect of that assault ? as in what did SHE do during that whole incident ? did she start it by slapping Chris ?

a friend of mine is Public Defender in LA and works on battery cases regularly. she says based on what she understood of the Rihanna/Brown situation – that Rihanna was not just sitting in the car innocently when that went down.

also the fact Rihanna keeps in touch with Brown lends credence to speculation that she maybe unfairly threw him under the bus for that whole situation somewhat unfairly.

and b/c other people in their industry circle know Rihanna spun it unfairly on Chris, that is why other celebs have stuck by Brown.

and also why Brown has been so pissy when being asked about it etc.

    • Kate says:

I can not believe people genuinely think like this. Rihanna is the victim in the situation, plain and clear. He beat her to a bloody pulp — that is fact. Stop with the conspiracy theories and don’t give me any of that ‘misandry’ BS. And even if she did slap him — does that give him the right to nearly beat her to DEATH and threaten to murder her? He deserves to be thrown under a bus (literally). No woman EVER deserves to be abused by a man. He’s pissy about it when asked because he doesn’t want to rehash it, obviously, as it’s not good for his image. What’s worst about this sitation is that his fan base is completely made up of young girls.

  71. Francesca says:

Can’t he see his tat? beaten RiRi face! so much denial for both of them – wow!! no way this will end well

Am I the only one who doesnt think this is such a big deal? We all have unhealthy people in our lives that we cant help but love… father, mother, boyfriend, friend etc. We keep them around because they arent the sum of the horrible things they have done. I dont like Chris Brown one little white girl iota and I wish Rihanna didnt love him the way she does… but I dont think she is disgusting for this. Love is love folks.
