Lindsay Lohan looks cracked out at LAX after multi-day partying at Coachella

When I first glanced through these photos, I thought I was seeing Amanda Bynes. I’m not sure if that’s insulting for Lindsay Lohan or Amanda. Anyway, these are pics of Lindsay departing from LAX yesterday. I hate myself for kind of wanting her jeans. Those are flattering jeans, right? I’m assuming Lindsay was flying from LA to New York, probably to get a few more weeks of partying under her belt before she heads to rehab on May 2.

Lindsay is coming off a multi-day party at Coachella, although Lindsay made sure she told TMZ repeatedly that she wasn’t partying at all. LL told “friends” (at TMZ) that “she didn’t drink an ounce of alcohol and stayed clear of all drugs … even though people all around her were getting high.” She wasn’t seen late at night at any of the parties and she claims she “turned in by 10 PM both nights during the weekend.” There was also a really gross photo of Lindsay a few days ago – you can see it here. She was wearing shorts and you could see some really awful-looking bruises on the backs of her legs. Lindsay “is telling friends she bruises easily because she doesn’t drink enough water.” Um… yeah, no.

As for where and how Lindsay will rehab, apparently it’s still up in the air after the hardcore Hamptons rehab basically said that LL couldn’t have her Adderall if she came. Page Six reported this a few days ago:

Lindsay Lohan is still shopping for sites to serve her court-ordered rehab, sources say, after reports she’d been eyeing the Seafield Center in Westhampton Beach. Her lawyer, Mark Jay Heller, confirmed to us yesterday that he and LiLo are still weighing five rehab centers around the country and will decide on one this week.

“Lindsay is expected to sit with me this week . . . and then a final approval has to be rendered by the court,” Heller said of Lohan’s requirement to report to rehab May 2.

Sources added that Lohan, who’s been busy partying at the Coachella festival in Palm Springs, is considering the Betty Ford Clinic in nearby Rancho Mirage. The troubled starlet’s reportedly concerned about being able to take Adderall while in treatment and had said she’d leave rehab if she’s not allowed to pop the prescribed pills.

But Heller tells us that’s not so: “She has not, nor would she be poised to, mandate any type of requirements. Nor has she directed me [to a facility that permits] her to use any types of substances such as Adderall. She has to conform and comply with the [rehab center’s] requirements.”

[From Page Six]

Well, considering she didn’t stay in California, I guess any California rehab center is out of contention, which is fine by me because Lindsay has been to most of them and they didn’t do much for her. Maybe a New York rehab will have better luck? See how optimistic I am? Ha. I genuinely think a New York rehab will have more rules and they will let her get away with less shenanigans, but crack shenanigans are all she knows so she’ll be able to get around the rules wherever she goes.

Those bruises are like some 50 Shades action.

    • popcorn11 says:

I dont understand all the bruising in the past few months. Surely if they are results of intoxicated falling over, then we would have noticed them years ago? Any doctors here? Is this atypical of certain drug use?

I worry for this girl, what if she has a clotting issue, who around her would force her to a doctor? Addiction makes me very sad!

      • the original bellaluna says:

I think it’s a combo of falling-down drunkenness (and we’ve seen plenty of those pix over the past several years) and rough johns.

      • Petee says:

Abusing alcohol heavily can cause a blood platelet problem.People that drink a lot bruise easily. Also she might be having some very rough sex.

      • Dani V says:

Coagulation factors come from the liver. Possibly some liver damage?

      • Agnes says:

I’m also going with rough johns.

      • DSS says:

I think the bruising is two-fold. Rough Johns and coagulopathy from cirrhosis

      • swack says:

If ahe isn’t eating properly she could have an iron deficiency and that will cause bad bruising. My daughter has to take a supplement and she eats very healthy.

      • paranormalgirl says:

Any number of things can causing bruising like that: certain prescription medications, alcohol overuse, iron deficiency to name a few. Adderal, when misused and taken incorrectly (excess dosage), can cause liver damage, of which bruising is a symptom. The blood can also fail to clot properly, making what should be a small bruise much larger.

      • Seashell says:

Drugs can also cause the bruising. Lack of nutrition. She doesn’t eat when on coke.

      • Annette says:

Iron is the one that will pop into everyone’s mind but in reality it could be any one of dozens of nutrient deficiencies. Who knows? Guessing how crappy her diet is, I bet she’s missing an entire periodic table.

    • Isabel says:

From what I understand alcohol makes your blood thinner, that’s why for example tattoo-artists advice you not to drink alcohol before you get a tattoo/piercing (to calm your nerves for example). And of course to prevent the ‘omgggg I was drunk and got this horrible tattoo’ haha

Edit: see Petee already said the same about alcohol 🙂
@Dani V: That sadly wouldn’t surprise me.. With her substance abuse I am surprised her organs didn’t try to escape her body, so much damage.. Sad.

      • TheOriginalTiffany says:

So do prescription painkillers. When I was on them I was always sporting huge bruises. Now that I am off the stuff, I never bruise.

Alcohol and Vicodin, amongst other things (cough, cocaine, cough) is what I am guessing.

    • mrs j says:

It from her hooking at the Hotel after the festival she into s&m now. It pays more

      • Missatx says:

Wow , that makes sense as to why I would always get bruises a week before my period . I have endometriosis and would start taking pain pills about a week before and I would always get huge bruises , similar to her leg bruises but much darker .
I guess we know she is on those pain pills her dentist prescribed

  2. bagladey says:

Lindsay has big bald spots on her head, she now has the worst combover next to Donald Trump and she still won’t stop wearing other people’s hair. Fake hair addiction seems to be really serious; maybe they can help her withdraw from that too in rehab.

    • YuYa says:

I don’t know women are even doing extensions. They ruin your hair and everyone knows it’s not your real hair anyways. What’s the point? Plus, they’re expensive. And Lindsey’s look like crap.

      • Isabel says:

My first thought actually was: wow what the hell is on her head? It looks like uncombed horsehair; very brittle and dry.

    • Tulip Garden says:

LOL at the fake hair addiction. I’ve known one person IRL to get extensions and I was kinda dumbfounded at how cheap they made her look. A 43 year old woman with a “dolly parton”-style extension just leaves one searching for a neutral comment!

    • LadyL says:

No food just booze. It causes vitamin deficiencies add that to the clumsy nature of drinkers that are also whores and bruising is just a physical manifestations of her inner decay. Her brain is probably rotted as well.

    • littlestar says:

Remember that very old Vanity Fair picture of her?

      http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-jb8YqMzTeHA/UIw3Nw88lyI/AAAAAAAAkME/U1N5Z7OWdbI/s1600/Lindsay_Lohan_Vanity_Fair_June_2004_01.jpg

I bet that was her original hair there. She looked so lovely. And then she went and ruined it all. I honestly wonder, does she miss how beautiful she used to look? Does she even realize what she did to her looks?

    • Missatx says:

Lol that made me laugh , shes sporting a huge combover with six feet of sexy luscious orange hair. Its like britney spears who keeps her extensions when you can see that theyve grown out and look tangled near her roots . I dont think long fried orange hair is sexy , just because it is long. But then again lilo can go back to her blonde look which scared the daylights out of me so I wont complain about her hair too much

      • the original bellaluna says:

Doing the math, she would have been 17 there, so chances are it was her real hair, despite the comb-over look.

Amasing what she’s done to herself in the past decade (almost), isn’t it?

  3. Amanda says:

Not getting enough water, huh? That’s funny because there sure are lots of pics showing her carrying “water” bottles…

  4. Isa says:

Good grief, I have never seen hair look so bad. Are extensions so difficult to maintain in good condition or is she just not taking care of that mop?

    • TheOriginalTiffany says:

Her and Amanda are hair twins, I guess. The hair looks terrible, like doll hair that has been in the sun for a month.

The jeans are great and yes, this cut is super flattering. I wear my skinnies all the time, but the wide leg is my second favorite. They make you look tall and thin. See, I said something nice.

  5. Dana M says:

Those long hair extensions look so heavy thus very painful! If she doesn’t brush them they will form knots with her real hair which causes the balding when trying to pull out the extension. Too gross and high maintenance in my opinion!

  6. NerdMomma says:

Arg, those jeans are really cute.

Why does she wear shorts when she knows good and well that her legs are bruised like that?

  7. Zigggy says:

I can’t believe I like her outfit! Those bruises are BAD.

  8. Sally says:

Those jeans! They’re amazing! I must have them! Does anyone know what make they are?

    • TheOriginalTiffany says:

If you find a rear shot I can ID them for you. However, Seven for all mankind makes a style just like this. Dojo style. Also, Citizens for Humanity makes a style just like this too. Called the Faye. Good luck, try the 7s, probably easier to find.

      • Lulu.T.O. says:

Somehow I balk at the idea of spending $300 for a pair of jeans…

      • HoneyB says:

LuLu, I used to think that too until I actually got some Sevens and Citizens jeans. When you see how they make your ass look you will see how worth it they are. You can find both brands at Nordies.

      • TheOriginalTiffany says:

Lulu, you can get great deals on eBay. I literally just got my daughter a pair of Paige jeans for eleven dollars, though if I had to I would pay full or sale price. They make that big a difference.

If you do eBay, just make sure they are authentic. You can check them through the authentic forum.

      • bluhare says:

Have all those jeans, and my favorites are 7’s and Paper Denim Cloth (my absolute favorite) but I’m not sure they’re around any more. I will cry buckets when those jeans finally give out.

      • littlestar says:

Lulu, I used to think the same way as you until I bought a pair of Adriano Goldschmied jeans about a month ago. Man, are they amazing! The quality of material and the cut of the jeans is so flattering, I’m now on the bandwagon that pricier jeans actually are better than $50 jeans. And they are such good quality that I know they are going to last for years to come (so I can justify buying at least one pair a year lol).

      • Lulu.T.O. says:

Thanks for the input everyone. I have heard the same things about 7 For as well. I still have a real hard time with it though… Maybe some day!

  9. virginia5 says:

something nice- I like the jeans

something not so nice- those are the most disgusting extensions I have ever seen.

  10. Jen says:

Liver damage can cause severe bruising because blood doesn’t clot properly.

The lack of water excuse is bullsh*t.

The problem is that all the “water” she drinks in public is VODKA.

    • Lulu.T.O. says:

I vote liver damage and too much alcohol, which also thins your blood. When you get piercings they always instruct not to drink before hand.

  12. lucy2 says:

I like the jeans. Wonder who she stole them from.
Her hair looks like all the crud that washed up here after the Sandy flood waters receded.

  13. the original bellaluna says:

Is she even welcome back at Betty Ford? That’s where she snuck out, got drunk, climbed over the wall to get back in, and whooped on an employee who had the audacity to confront her drunken ass. Seems to me she’d be banned.

Please, ohplease, OHPLEASE let EVERY rehab tell her “NO!” to Adderall.

    • littlestar says:

I hope whatever rehab she ends up in, that they say no to Adderall too. Adderall seems to be one of her biggest problems. Remember years ago when her and Nicole Richie were friends during their “thinification” days? I remember the rumour going around was that they were both using Adderall to lose weight.

      • the original bellaluna says:

I remember her “thin-off” with SamRo, but not the Nicole one.

I guess there’s just been too much BS from her since! 😀

  14. Stella says:

Liver damage causes people to bruise easily. I know a ton of drunks with bad bruises like that.

  15. MonicaQ says:

My husband jokes that if he were an X-men, he’d want a power that resulted in him touching people and having their hair fall out. It comes from college and all the melodramatic people around us with the “I CAN’T CUT MAH HAIR IT’S A PAAAAAAHT OF MEEEEE” and then bitch about how it took them an hr to take a shower and then an hr to dry it.

He saw her and said, “Super power. I need my super power now. Except it’d have to include making glue not stick to her head too. It looks like she strangled an Irish Setter and said, “That’s fair” and sat it on her head.”

  16. Nicolette says:

Could those bruises be caused by someone who is shooting up something? Is that possible? And why doesn’t she cover them up? That’s some God awful looking stuff going on there.

  17. LadyL says:

Can you get high from smelling her hair or breath? I’m thinking probably. Watch out fledging vampires-sucking her blood can be dangerous to your health.

  18. Ginger says:

The bruising is probably from drinking copious amounts of alcohol which thins the blood. Hence she would bruise easily. she really should NOT be mixing alcohol and Adderal

  19. chops says:

I used to know someone who sold cocaine and would increase profit by adding baby aspirin..apparently from what I wad told a common practice….the effect on the user would be thinking the blood which could cause bruising…

  20. Barbara says:

Only thing that ever bruised the back of my thighs(and I bruise easy)is a firm excited grip.. 🙂

  21. erika says:

you tend to bruise easily when you fall down dead drunk (high, wasted) whatever.

think of it logically, if her legs collapsed right under her she’d probably fall on her knees therefore the heels of her shoes would go BAM right into the back of her upper thighs.

    I Perry Masoned that…!

  22. K-rock says:

She looks like shes been ridden hard and put away wet. Yikes!

Thought she was going to Coachella this weekend also. Guess not. I would think that they would already have gotten the rehab facility picked and started the paper work.

    • Petee says:

Her handler’s and attorney’s probably explained to her that this is not a good move.TMZ had the one and only picture of her there and usually you see her out and about at Coachella.SHE probably realized she couldn’t do what she wanted without anyone taking picture’s and decided it wasn’t going to be like before.Oh and let’s not forget that judge telling her to stay away from that kind of environment or she would be thrown in jail. The cherry on top is she has been photographed with her younger sibling’s lately so it make’s her look better.Duh!!Nice move but anyone with some smart’s can see what she and her camp are up to.

  25. skuddles says:

I see Lilo continues to be hygienically challenged. That is one GREASY, gross looking mop!

  26. janie says:

Those bruises would worry me if i were her mom? I know, i know how her mom is. Someone needs to care about her.. I pray this rehab helps her, probably her real last chance to recover once & for all.

  27. KIKI61 says:

She looks like a 60 year old woman whose had too much bad plastic surgery in those pics.

  28. rachel says:

Yes, as others have said, the bruises are completely consistent with acute and extreme active alcoholism- esp in terms of location and size.

Poor thing. Its suffering I could only wish on my worst enemies (I can’t say I would spare them, sorry). I am sure at this point she can’t even enjoy her hard partying-its just a compulsion she can’t control. Can you imagine if Cancer came with a delusion that it wasn’t that bad, the diagnosis is wrong, and you don’t need treatment? So so sad. At this point her chances of death are far greater than chances of sustained sobriety. And I don’t see her getting any real beauty back even if she was lucky enough to get years of sobriety (because we are assuming she has not just fillers but cheekbone implants right? I don’t think you can recover from those). At this point I am rooting for her to get better. The chances are so slim but its getting harder and harder to watch the slow decline.

Just showed my boyfriend these pictures, bearing in mind he doesnt follow celeb gossip, he’s never heard of mean girls or lindsay lohan (we live in uk). Asked him how old this woman looks. He said she looks 35 ish. I was quite shocked really that he thought she looked as young as that. wouldve thought a hard living 40 to 50ish. Maybe my dislike towards her is making me biased lol.

I had to weigh in here because I have an incredibly severe case of iron deficiency anemia – for which I was at one point hospitalized and underwent IV Ferritin therapy once a week for over a month…. And even at my worst I wouldn’t have bruised like that from a regular slip and fall or bumped-into-something situation.

My deficiency is under control despite being unable to keep iron pills down – I tried every kind and I always brought then up.

Instead, i have to drink a liquid version – and yes I still do bruise easily and it takes me a long time to heal from anything…. But if it had anything to do with an iron deficiency you’d have to be deeply deeply bruised for it to look like that and no ordinary lady living a normal working person life would bruise like that from a typical clumsy event.

Basically, you would have to be severely unhealthy or malnourished and/or be abusing substances messing with your blood/brain/tissue to get that kind of bruising coupled with an event extreme enough to do huge damage — OR have a high impact fall involving a banana peel style slip onto ice or pavement etc.. But I’m sure if that happened it would have been witnessed and documented — and as far as I know, there is no ice anywhere she’s been.

I’m not an expert, but from my experience something that appears like it is not a result of an ordinary run-of-the-mill type of incident combined with iron deficiency.

    • jwoolman says:

I have a family tendency toward capillary fragility. I can get bruises much bigger and much more awful looking than hers without any memory of what caused it. I don’t drink alcohol,, smoke or use recreational drugs and am not into getting hit. I’m not a redhead, but like Lindsay I am 3/4 Irish and pale. My mother and aunt were likewise pale but 100% Irish and had the same problem. In my case, I discovered in my thirties that extra Vitamin C made the bruising vanish. So I’m guessing she has a natural tendency toward capillary fragility, may possibly have a greater need than normal for certain vitamins or minerals, and all the booze and drugs keep her malnourished and depleted of micronutrients so she gets the bruises easily from mild impacts, although some of her drugs also may be part of the fragility problem and possibly her liver is just giving up. If she’s always bruised easily as I have, she probably doesn’t think twice about the bruises and wouldn’t see them as a medical problem and also wouldn’t worry about covering them up. I didn’t worry about it myself. We’ll see what happens after 90 days away from drugs and booze and 90 days of real food.

Rubbish. I’ve got straw berry blonde hair & a pale complexion with freckles Like Lindsay & I bruise like that all the time. I’m not an alcoholic or have a mineral diifiiciency. Alot of redheads are very light complexioned with thin skin & bruise easily . Doesn’t make us all crackheads.

      • Robot Rosie says:

I am also very pale… I didn’t imply anyone who bruises is deficient or a crackhead? I just meant that in my experience i believe it takes more than just being clumsy or bumping into a table to get a bruise of that kind…

I think don’t know , I use to get massively huge bruises on my legs they would be black and purple and huge.
I didnt drink very often, and considered myself healthy . I would always get them a week before my period , no fail. I thought that I must be anemic and paid for the test , but no anemia !
I think it most likely had something to do with hormones and diet. I would start to bruise easily if I had a lot of stress too and I dont really see a medical correlation but I have noticed the pattern for years ,
I just read the posts above and realized that it must have been the pain pills id start taking a week before my period to deal with endometriosis . That probably explains her bruises .
