Harry went out with Kimberly AND her family Thursday night. Rod Stewart was there, plus his wife and plus Ruby Stewart, Kimberly’s younger sister. There isn’t much gossip about Kimberly ever since she gave birth to Benicio del Toro’s baby in 2011, so it’s interesting that the first celebrity guy she’s seen with, post-Benicio, is a 19-year-old boy bander. Is that weird?
Anyway, there was some confusion as to whether Harry was really “with” Kimberly, or maybe he was with Ruby, or maybe he just digs Rod Stewart. Well, E! News has the inside info – apparently, Kimbo and Harry are a thing now because he LOVES older ladies.
Harry Styles has a new flame—and he’s already met her family! The 19-year-old One Direction heartthrob recently started dating 33-year-old Kimberly Stewart, a source exclusively confirms to E! News, noting that both are “very happy.”
“They were introduced by a mutual friend who set them up,” the insider says. ‘Kim is very strong willed, she goes for what she wants and Harry appreciates that. It is a very new thing and we’ll see where it goes.”
Moreover, “she is exactly his type,” the source adds.
And Kim apparently had no qualms about introducing her new fellow to the fam: She and Harry dined last night at Dan Tana’s in West Hollywood with her dad and stepmom, Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster; her brother, Sean, and his on-again flame, Adrienne Maloof.
“Kim and Harry sat next to one another” and he was “very cuddly with her,” an eyewitness tells E! News. “He had his arm around her.” The lad was also seen talking to Kim’s pop-icon father for a while as well.
Sitting this family gathering out, meanwhile, was Kim’s 1 1/2-year-old daughter, Delilah, whose dad is Benicio del Toro.
A rep for One Direction had no comment; a rep Stewart has not yet responded to a request for comment.
Before Harry got with Taylor Swift last year, he was already cutting a wide swath in the 30-something and 40-something B-list talent in England, so it’s not like this would be his first foray into dating a woman more than a decade older. And she’s a single mom too. Eh. I mean… sure. I’m not going to get invested enough to get judgy or really analyze this. This is going to be a fling, whether Kimberly knows it or not.

I am usually one who is confused about what a woman will find interesting about a much younger man. But I met someone last week who is young enough to be my offspring (he’s in his ’20’s) and for the 1st time I can say I would “hit it”. He was funny, charming and we watched all the same geeky TV shows. So maybe I am changing my tune on this. But 19 still seems too young. And I’m with the vote that says he’s gay and looking for a beard.
Everyone likes judging everything, but people are different, some 30/40 yo are immature, some 20 yo may not be. I may also be the only one from what I can see, but I feel much more comfortable with older people then with people my age.
@Amanda – You’re not the only one. I always had a very ‘mature’ vocabulary & calm demeanor (sometimes mistaken for being ‘shy’ simply because I wasn’t climbing the walls like everyone else my age). I had trouble talking to them, or got frustrated by their logic (or lack thereof). So I was very comfortable talking to adults/people significantly older than myself. (who always commented on my advanced vocabulary).

Whether this is fake or not it makes KS relevant for a few weeks or so. Having a baby by a famous actor didn’t work so she’s trying other options. KS is a fameho and will always be.
I think she is the biggest failure of that entire crew. Paris at least got a few TV shows, a successful handbag and perfume line. Nicole went into fashion and raised a family. Lindsay, well at least she works sometimes and gets paid for attending events or promoting stuff. Same with Mischa. Kim K started a freaking empire, as annoying as she is.

Needless to say, my aunt is very worried because she’s afraid he’ll knock her up too, and she seems to be looking for a husband more than anything. My cousin is still too young, this relationship got too serious too fast, and he’s still in college, and my aunt, who is going blind btw, is doing all she can to pay for it. She has two jobs while he has none. She wants him to be someone but I see him seriously messing up. He parties a lot, no job and gets into fights regularly. Bad fights. Add to this his girlfriend and we’re all seriously counting down the days to shotgun wedding. They also have a very volatile relationship, so yeah, awesome.
It’s really sad to see people actively making bad decisions, when their parents did MIRACLES to give them what they have.

In my view this is a very OBVIOUS publicity stunt – Rod Stewart had a new album coming out (just last week) and One Direction are announcing theirs this next week.
Not to mention Harry is likely gay, in a relationship with his bandmate, and not good at the bearding thing – the Haylor PR relationship was called off a month before it was supposed to have ended.
So they are just giving him short ‘flings’ with thirtysomething women again – keeps the moms of all those 12 year old girls interested too.
