Here are some photos of Jessica Simpson, Eric Johnson and baby Maxwell arriving at LAX yesterday. I continue to be rather stunned that Jessica’s second pregnancy is so low-key. I think she learned several lessons from her first pregnancy. One lesson: all of the weight you gain doesn’t just go away when you give birth, even if you have “a lot” of amniotic fluid. Second lesson: there really is no need to make such a public spectacle of yourself while pregnant. I feel like Kim Kardashian is still stuck in that phase and Jessica has moved past it.
Most sites are going with “ready to pop” headlines, but I guess it’s worth noting that Jessica is due around the same time as Kim Kardashian AND Duchess Kate. I suspect they will all give birth, domino-style, within a few weeks of each other, but that won’t happen until late June/early July. Jessica and Kim first, then Kate. Who will go first? I suspect Kim will deliver via pre-scheduled C-section, and Jessica probably will too – didn’t Jessica have a C-section with Maxi? Incidentally, Busy Phillips should be giving birth any day now – I think she is, as they say, “ready to pop”.
But really, who can even look at Jessica’s bump when you can just look at Maxwell? Maxi is 1 year old now, and her hair is really starting to get thick! My mom did the “rooster tail” hair style on me when I was a baby too. Maxi is super-cute, and I think she’s really starting to look like Jessica. She’s a little ham too – she’s super-aware of the cameras.

jessica seems kind of dumb, but she also seems like a genuinely nice person which I guess is more important imo
She is very savvy business wise, so she cannot be stupid. She knows how to brand and sell her brand. I also think she enjoys being silly, and it can come across as not being bright. There is a difference. And by coming across as “ditzy”, it makes her less threatening.
They have the cutest baby! Honestly, I didn’t expect that, but they make cute kids.
Eric Johnson is EWW. Apparently he doesn’t mind being 100% supported by her. She is dumber than a box of rocks, but has smart people around her making millions off her.
Jessica will deliver her baby after the human commode. Jessica doesn’t lie about her due dates and is actually happy and loves being a mother. Kimmode on the other hand hates everything about having this kid except the money it will make her. Kimmode lies about everything all the time, she can’t help it, and she is a sociopath. Kimmode will have this baby in June…no doubt about it.
I think Kim will schedule the c-section as early as medically ok, since she seems to hate being pregnant.

In comparison to Kim Kardashian, Jessica Simpson seems positively ladylike and demure in her pregnancy. Good for her for keeping it relatively low-key this time.

At least she learnt but she wasn’t as bad as Kim K the first time around either. Kim continues to look stupid. Won’t they all have to stop flying soon? Of course Kim will have a planned C section she needs to make sure Kanye shows up for the birth. Maxi is just a cutie!
I think for most airlines, you can travel (at least domestically) up until 36 weeks. After that you need a medical certificate.
Since Kim Kardashian is flying all over the place all the time, I think as soon as we see she’s staying in one spot for more than a week, she’s close.
I thought it was at 30 weeks airlines required a health certificate.
@leeloo Up until 36 weeks, if it’s an uncomplicated pregnancy is just fine. And I think it’s 34 weeks with twins. After the 36 weeks, you’re suppose to have a medical certificate and then when you’re really close, like 7-10 days away, you’re suppose to have a medical certificate and be approved by some medical supervisor that works for the airline.
Some airlines don’t have requirements, but the ones that do tend to be fairly late–36 weeks. I flew a lot for work during my pregnancy–including my last flight at 36 weeks, 3 days–and was never asked for any paperwork. I think, given how overworked most airline employees are these days, no one was interested in potentially taking on more work.

At least Jessica seems happy being a mother. I think Kim’s child is going to wind up getting dumped off on nannies. I think it’s hard to say who will go first. Jessica may try giving birth naturally this time around for all we know. I think Maxi was too big for her to do so. We don’t know a lot about this little one. But I do agree she learned a lot of lessons about being low-key but I also attribute a lot of that to her being busy with Maxi. Besides who can blame Jessica for being excited about becoming a mom? She was always happy and smiling. I’d take Jessica and her being a famewhore than Kim K’s sour puss face whining about her weight in every interview. Kim does not seem to be happy or excited in the very least. While I know tabloids tend to exaggerate, I do believe the common thread in all Kim stories that Kim is more obsessed over her weight and whether or not Kanye is going to dump her than she is in actually being a mother.
Personally I think Jessica is playing this brilliantly. The last thing she wants is to be plastered side by sides with KIM. She can let Kim take 90% of the negativity. Last time also most of the tabloids & blogs took the worst pic they could find on some of the strangest angles of Jessica & then totally trashed her. Sure she had weight but the tabs and bloggers had an agenda. This pregnancy by her own words has been very different for her & she has not been well for a good portion of it. IT’s clear she has big babies as Maxwell was close to 10 lbs & the largest baby any celeb had last year. This could also be a 10 lb baby boy. Very large baby’s for a very small woman.
I also believe she will deliver in JUNE and surprise everyone. I wouldn’t be surprised if she was home & delivered before anyone knows. It maybe harder to do with having a C section but her new home she doesn’t have to be seen for some time. She has a gym, spa,hometheater & recording studio & living in more of a country enviroment.
This will be very interesting to watch.

Haha I’ve been wondering about all three women and myself! I’m due in July and it’s been fun to follow along with their pregnancies as they progress with mine.
Jessica seems like a bit of a reformed fame whore while Kim is still in the thick of it. And Kate, well, bless her heart!
I imagine Jess will end up with a second c-section if she had one just barely a year ago. Having children so close together doesn’t really give the body much time to heal so I think attempting a VBAC might be more difficult.
I wish them all the best… But dang, I feel bad for Kim’s kid already 🙁
I forgot about that. My midwife friend told me most doctor’s recommend waiting 18 months between pregnancies if you want to do a VBac.

@Sarah @JenD I’m due August, a girl, and I’m sure glad those three are going to go first so I can erase their names from my name list, preventing a lifetime of future awkwardness for the poor little thing.

Oh, Maxi, come over and I’ll babysit you!! Just don’t bring your grimy dad with you…as for pregnancies, I think Kim K will have hers first. Jessica looks healthy and happy.
The other difference is that Jessica does not seem to dress like a dime-store hooker. So, the paps aren’t getting a ton of ridiculous, publication-worthy shots.
I feel really sorry for the poor little Kartrashian. The best you can hope is they will hire a nanny to love and care for the child. Kim is the most bizarre pregnant woman I have ever seen. Has anyone ever seen her with her hand on her belly, ever? Because that is a standard protective stance for pregnant women. It’s kind of automatic and instinctive, and I’m certain we’ve never seen one picture of her doing that.
