If you needed further evidence of the fundamental flaw in Halle Berry’s case for moving Nahla permanently to Paris to avoid the paparazzi, here are some photos of Halle and Olivier Martinez getting pap’d in Paris yesterday. Halle has gotten much bigger since we saw her last! She’s maybe…? Six or seven months along, maybe? And Halle changed her hair too – the last time we saw her, it was shorter and she had spikes and stuff. I’m surprised to see her hair like this, and I’m surprised by how much I like it.
I’m enjoying the fact that Halle is wearing flats too, and that we’re not being gifted by some Kardashian-esque monstrosity in too-tight clothes and stilettos, trying to convince us that she’s still “sexy”. You know what’s sexy? Comfort. A little bit of modesty. Flattering clothes are sexy. Buying the correct size is sexy.
Not sexy? Olivier Martinez’s wide-leg trouser/mom-jeans? God, he has the WORST taste in jeans. I don’t know if this is the same pair as before, but he needs to burn these suckers in a cleansing fire. Halle looks fantastic, and I guess she’s okay with these jeans or else she would have burned them herself. I will give Olivier some credit – he’s looking better in these photos than he’s looked in a few years. He looks younger. Well-rested. Maybe a good facial and some sleep? Or maybe a little Botox?
E! News has a source claiming that Halle is definitely expecting a boy, although she hasn’t confirmed anything publicly. Halle with a son… that should be interesting.

People have been so hard on her as a pregnant woman that she thinks she has to wear heels or spanx or whatever. That was ‘Unfaithful’ and yes, Martinez was show-stoppingly sexy. Like Viggo Mortensen in ‘A Walk on the Moon’ – also with Diane Lane – he was EXACTLY the type of man you could imagine even the most staid suburban wife leaving her husband for. Just sex on legs.
Now….. Martinez is not hot at all. It’s almost like he’s a different person. And he’s only in his mid-40s, so not old enough to have completely gone to seed. He and Halle are about the same age, but you’d never guess it to look at them together. It almost seemed to happen overnight – one minute, hot as hell, the next, like the smarmy, badly-dressed guy who tries unsuccesfully to chat up foreign tourists in bars.
Yeah, he has totally lost it. Must be why his work has dried up. Guess it happens to actors too.

Movie was “Unfaithful” with Diane Lane. Yes, he was indeed hot in the movie but he wasn’t that young. Iirc, he was already 37 when they shot that film.

I don’t think the argument was that celebrities don’t deal with paparazzi in France. The argument was that children of celebrities are not subject to the paps as much. I don’t know is that is actually the case or not.

I think Halle is one of those women whose hair grows like crazy when they’re pregnant. Her hair grew out with Nahla as well.
I’m very happy for her and I’m also glad she’s decided to give marriage one more try. I think she and Olivier are perfect for each other … and they look good together, too! 🙂
i think he looks so much better than he than he has looked in a very long time. perhaps he is happy to be back home. that can improve a person’s look as they relax back into their home country.
