Here are some more photos of Jennifer Aniston on set in NYC for her new film, Squirrels to the Nuts. I covered some non-wigged photos of Jennifer yesterday, much to many people’s dismay. As for my discussion of the “chilly” part of Jennifer’s body… first of all, I was just stretching to discuss some new photos. It’s not always some huge anti-Aniston plot, you know? Besides, she wanted all of us to see them (and the SmartWater).
Anyway, these are the first shots I’ve seen of Jennifer in her character’s wig. According to Lainey, Jennifer is playing a therapist in the movie. And for whatever reason, I was thinking to myself, “New York… therapist… short, blunt cut… Prince of Tides!!!” Really, though, Jennifer has always looked like a young Barbra Streisand, and never more so when she wears her hair like this. I’ve always said that Jennifer should go darker – her insistence on dyeing her hair that caramel-blonde is okay, but if she really wanted to switch it up AND look younger, going to a warm, medium brown might be just what she needs. The darker hair makes her eyes really pop, right?
Justin was also spotted on the set, visiting his girl, although we don’t have photos of that. Us Weekly’s sources claim that there’s no drama with JustJen these days, and they were especially loved up during Jimmy Kimmel’s wedding. Maybe Justin is just happy he gets to spend a little time in New York City without it becoming a huge People Magazine cover.

Sadly, that this is actually close to her real color and it looks so bad. Even with all the money, plastic surgery and polishing she is still barely better than “unfortunate” looking. I wish her people would stop trying to sell her as an admired beauty to shill products, because she most certainly is not.

Wow. Extremely harsh. I think one of the reasons she is so relatable is that she’s not a natural beauty but she has a glow and she is sexy and makes herself really attractive. It makes women feel like they can do it too if they find the right hairstyle, and get fit and healthy. I think this wig makes her face look awful but when styled correctly, she looks fantastic.
The colour makes her look years younger but it’s such an “unkept” look…ughh

It’s almost similar but I like the new bob better coz the hair cut follows the jaw down. It’s shortened in back and longer in front and that makes her look edgier than the short bob she had on Friends.
@Rhea: I LOVED it when she bobbed her hair back in the Friends days! It made her look cute and very petite (I guess the fact that she was a rail back then didn’t hurt). Even her old nose looks adorable with that hair. I couldn’t believe when she said she hated that hair cut. The newer cut is not as flattering IMO. It isn’t as flattering to her face shape – elongates it IMO.
The problem is the dark hair color makes her colored eye contacts even more obvious. That could be one of the reasons that she doesn’t go darker with her hair.
I have just never understood the fuss about Jennifer Aniston. Sorry. I’ve nothing against her, but she’s a mediocre actress content to play the same neurotic but adorable girlfriend in almost every movie; as for her alleged looks, I just see pictures and think, where is this incredible beauty? What am I not seeing? I feel kind of mean because all I see is a snubby nose, angular face, eyes a little close-set…
Usually even when I personally don’t think someone’s all that hot, I can see what other people are getting at, but with Aniston I just see a nice ordinary lady who scrubs up well. Is it just me?

I’ve never heard her called an incredible beauty. She’s cute/pretty at best really.
What I don’t understand is people (not you) acting outraged because she’s got a successful career and isn’t drop-dead gorgeous.
Like women should only be valued for their looks, and it’s almost like some are angry that she’s made millions and isn’t beautiful.
I know what you mean about the people who do get angry. The Internet is full of scary people who seem to think that because they wouldn’t personally pork a lady, then she’s a disgusting monster who has no right to exist, let alone besmirch their screen. So from that perspective I guess I should applaud her for being (in my opinion anyway) a bit of a blank and still being so successful.
But yeah, just in terms of the coverage, it seems like she’s been regarded as a beauty (or at least “hot”) ever since the Rachel days, and I just have always felt like I must have been missing the part of the eyeball that sees the Aniston range of the spectrum, because I just never got it.

I’m not a big Jen fan, but when I watch Friends reruns, I can’t deny she was totally adorable in that role – very warm and funny.

I don’t think she’s a “great beauty”. But I really do think she’s pretty. I agree with you about the acting part. She’s not so good. But I don’t think people are angry at her because she has a career. There are far less talented people in hollywood and there are far less attractive people with careers in hollywood, too. These people are delusional/angry because they’re obsessed with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie (both mediocre actors also, imho), and the idea that he ever loved another creature before her just irks the living shit out of them. Don’t ask me why. All three have made it longer than their expiration date.

shows like Boardwalk Empire and Copper would be SO lame and hard to watch if the costuming were bad.
And I was impressed with the wig quality because it looks like she has grey roots.. ha! but what do I know… And I’m in the minority here but I actually like the style on her. Maybe not the bangs but she looks better with shorter hair. And the darker color works too — but she’d have to cover the grey!

Nah, I think wearing all the baby doll dresses, she forgot to suck it in for a minute. Look at the second to top photo; flat stomach. Photos often make people appear bulkier than they actually are, too.

It’s because she isn’t wearing her usual 5″ Stiletto heels and she’s her ‘real’ stumpy self. ‘This’ is Jen’s natural body appearance without those stilettos … which is why she wears them.

Hmm. The only time I see her wearing high heels is on the red carpet. She appears to favor flats, especially sandals when dressing down (unlike Miley who wears heels WHILE dressing down).
Gravity has taken its toll on her in the last year or so.

It’s similar to a hair color (closer to her own, I would imagine) she had toward the end of Friends. But of course that was rich, shiny, and well styled, which makes a world of difference. Best she’s ever looked imo. The styling and flatness of this wig’s color make it plain jane. Must go with her character in this film.

Back in the day, I was staunchly Team Aniston. Through the years, however, I have come to see what you are talking about. Her whole life seems to be all about superficiality and vacationing. However, I think the vitriol is just too much. I don’t like her but the hatred for her on this site is intense. Yesterday, she got blasted for nipples I couldn’t see and doing her job promoting SmartWater and then today, she gets blasted for a wig that she is getting paid as an actress to wear. That alone, kind of makes me feel for her although I do recognize how perfectly crafted her image is. Sure, she’s not out saving the world like her nemesis (just kidding- the past few years have made me respect AJ like no one else in all of Hollywood. Her personal life does not matter to me; her charitable contributions of both time and money won me over) but at least she’s not getting DUI’s, getting married and divorced w/in weeks, showing us her hoo-haw, or many many other offenses that could fall upon us.
And I love that blue dress. It looks like the most comfortable dress in the free world.

The brunette hair color suits her though, great against her eye colour.
I think she looks much better with a bob, rather than that long overprocessed boring straw that has been her hair forever. But this wig is too obviously a wig, it’s not very good hair, I don’t like the bangs, and it’s not dark enough. I so wish she’d get a nice bob or other shorter cut and let her hair revert to its natural dark color. It would make her look like something other than a bland beach babe, and her eyes would look spectacular.

It’s such a budget wig that I’ve seen much better in Halloween trash stores. It’s insane that THE Hollywood can’t afford quality wigs but use these sad excuses of floor mops.
