It was one week ago that we were discussing whether or not George Clooney and Eva Longoria had been fooling around while he was still officially “with” Stacy Keibler. We were also discussing whether or not Eva Longoria really wanted us to know that Clooney might have been trying to slip her Lil’ Clooney. Shortly after Us Weekly’s story – that Eva and George had talked about fooling around but that Eva wouldn’t mess around with a dude who had a girlfriend – both Eva and George denied the story. Blah. So, with that in mind, these are some new photos of Eva and her boyfriend Ernesto Arguello.
Eva and Ernesto have been together a few months. There’s a theory floating around that Eva picked up Ernesto (who was a contestant on her failed dating-reality show) when Clooney wouldn’t dump Stacy, and Eva has been “flaunting” Ernesto all over the place so Clooney would get jealous. Granted, I’m no Clooney-defender, but does anyone think George would take one look at Ernesto and get jealous? Really? Ernesto isn’t even D-list. He’s $4 million in debt. And personally, he pings on my gaydar.
But Eva is committed to making this relationship work – WTF? – so she’s having a part written for Ernesto on the show she’s producing, Devious Maids.
Eva Longoria is putting her man to work: a source says Eva has cast her boyfriend, Ernesto Arguello, on her new Lifetime series, Devious Maids, so he can start contributing financially to their budding union.
Eva, 38, who is a producer on the show, met Ernesto when he was a contestant on her failed reality dating show, Ready for Love.
“She doesn’t want to be his sugar mama,” admits a pal. “So she’s having the writers create a character specifically for him.”

This feels like Jennifer Lopez-Casper Smart, right? A diva-type gets some do-nothing guy (a back-up dancer, a contestant on a dating reality show) to be her boyfriend and then she finagles some “job” for him (choreographer, “actor”) and now suddenly they’re even more legit? Eva, we need to talk. Girl… this is embarrassing. When Jennifer Lopez has better K-Fed-grifter-dating game than you, you know you have issues.

Yes! That was exactly what I thought, too. I really think she’s setting this up nicely. I wonder if Clooney is part of the conversation, as this makes a nice twist to his two-year contract storyline and squashes many of the gay rumors.

Her PR is working overtime- first it was that Clooney wanted her but she said no, and now she’s so wealthy she could be a sugar mama? Come on. One tv role and some minor show producing does not an empire make. JLo would scoff at the comparison.

Yeah and because of those restaurants and what-have-you, she was a guest judge on Master Chef the other week. She was awful. During the tasting, she seemed to not want to actually swallow any of the food, she just kept chewing and thereby talking with her mouth full of food. It was really annoying.

Eva has some lucrative beautycontracts, i see her in tv spots for Loreal in Europe all the time. Even JLo earns more Money with her Perfumes and Loreal then with her bad Music. As if this woman can sing or act.
Most stars earn more Money with Advertising then their normal Jobs. I mean, how much earned Beyonce with Pepsi? J.Aniston with Smart Water? They are vey high paid Models and the real models are not amused about this 😉
And if These stars are smart engough, they make a riskfree good Investment and can live the rest of their live very good in their mansions without ever working again.
According to celebritynetworth.com, last year she was worth $35 million. She was getting 400,000 per episode from Housewives when it was on the air, she’s got a few restaurants, and several endorsements. I’d actually be surprised if it wasn’t more than $35 million by now.

I do think she earned quite a lot from her DH days. It was a hit show when it started (not so much after season 4-5)

Do I think that George Clooney would be jealous of Eva parading a guy like this around? Um, no. But do I think this is the move that Eva would make to try to make someone jealous? TOTALLY. Eva has terrible PR game and she’s not exactly known for her subtlety.

I don’t think she’s George’s type at all. She’s too smart (seriously, she’s no dummy), has enough of a career of her own, and there are too many “leaks” about her and her personal life.
