LeAnn Rimes in Reem Acra at the ACAs, with Eddie Cibrian: lovely or budget?

wenn20926711

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian made an appearance at last night’s Academy of Country Music Awards. LeAnn even performed, but thankfully she didn’t do anything from Spitfire (ha). Instead, she got to perform a tribute to Patsy Cline (this year is the 50th anniversary of Patsy’s death). While LeAnn did change gowns for the tribute, for the red carpet she wore this Reem Acra gown which I actually kind of love. It’s very pretty and it flatters her figure beautifully. It actually makes her bust look smaller, which made me wonder if LeAnn might have something done to her implants? Or maybe it’s just a really flattering gown with great foundation garments underneath (I could swear that she’s wearing a corset or a girdle). As for Eddie… well… yeah, whatever. He’s there too.

As I said, LeAnn performed a Patsy Cline medley. It’s tough to find a good-quality video of the performance, so if you really want to see it, try this video:

LeAnn was so “emotional” that she cried at the end of the performance. Many of the country musicians in attendance thought she did a good job too. Before the performance, LeAnn told Fox News: “I’ve just been compared to this woman, to Patsy Cline, for so many years. Since I was a baby. To be asked to do something like this on the fiftieth anniversary of her death … it means a lot, you know? I have a definite connection there that’s like no other.”

Any body language experts want to weigh in?

    • Tracy says:

Well, I am not an expert but I do have an opinion on that first photo. Normally Eddie is the one who is pulling away and trying to hide his disgust of his spouse. In this one it seems that she is the one pulling away and failing at hiding her disgust. These twp really are a match made in hell.

On a positive note, I loved her second dress.

    • LadySlippers says:

Well, his body IS still turned to her and she to his.

Take that for what it’s worth but I think they are still a couple.

    • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

No expert here, but everything about them just screams FAKE to me.

      • Vanderhootchie says:

She overdoes it completely, cuddling up to him. Way overdone. And her first dress is gross. GROSS. That is all 😉

      • LadySlippers says:

They are very over the top which is why I tried to focus in on their body language. They strike me as sickeningly sweet teenagers engaging in PDA just to piss the adults off.

      • janie says:

She looked really pretty in the pink dress.. The bigger question is.. Where’s her rings?

      • LadySlippers says:

Her recent weight gain has probably made her rings too small.

    • Erinn says:

It’s definitely not the usual, over the top show of affection. It looks awkward and forced. They look more like casual friends than husband and wife.

      • NerdMomma says:

I agree with Erinn! Usually I don’t ponder body language because who knows which moment the camera captured a couple in…but I’m used to her groping him with a huge, open-mouth smile and she looks like she’s just going through the motions here. Like she can’t wait for this to be over. He is acting like a douche, like he knows she’s uncomfortable and he’s enjoying it. So if they’re just coming to one another’s events as a favor, these pictures make sense.

      • LadySlippers says:

It could also be that people told them to stop with the crude PDA too. She was performing a tribute and that usually is classier than a reality show.

    • mrspatrickbateman says:

I think her wedding ring still being gone is a big indicator.

    • LAK says:

Wow, that is some standing-as-far-away-as-possible-from-your-partner-whilst-standing-close-to-them body language!!!!

  2. BeckyR says:

I just noticed: their eyes look alike! Whatever you may think of her, the girl can SING!

    • Gen says:

I agree. I thought the same thing as I watched the awards last night. I thought, she has such a great voice. If she would stop the drama, she really would be more likable.

    • MW says:

Exactly – I had forgotten how fabulous her voice really is. Not many singers can really compare to her voice. If she could just knock off the childish drama and sing . . .

  3. Sullivan says:

She looks pretty good. It’s fitting that Leann would be asked to do the Patsy Cline medley.

  4. Launicaangelina says:

I remember when she became famous for “Blue” at age 14. She had such a beautiful voice, still does, and it really did call Patsy Cline to mind. She needs to get her ish together. She has lost all if the goodwill she had for many years. It’s sad to see the direction things have gone for her but it’s her own doing.

    • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

I completely agree, especially about it being her own doing.

    • Lark says:

Yep. That is what I kind of find sad about LeAnn in that she is so self-destructive and that kids are involved. Not only did she make a horrible mistake, but she made it SO much worse by getting on twitter and doing all of her shenanigans. If she had just kept her head down, shut up, and kept working, she could have maintained a decent or great career despite her affair.

      She looks good here imo.

  5. Jessiebes says:

Lovely performance. Love both dresses she wore.

  6. Lark says:

I’ve said it before, but LeAnn can sing her ass off and has one of the most powerful voices in country. If only she could get off of twitter, get some major therapy, and stop engaging with Brandi…

Country music is pretty accepting of those who have personal issues. There are a LOT of country stars who have admitted to affairs, had problems with drugs or alcohol, etc. and are still widely accepted or even more popular before their problems. It’s not her personal problems that have caused her so much career trouble, it’s that plus the fact that she was on twitter and openly talking to tabloids and acting like a general psycho. I don’t know if she can “ever” get it back, but if she had just accepted that she was going to have some career damage no matter what after the affair and shut her damn mouth and kept working she would have been in a MUCH better place imo. Instead, she got on twitter SMH. I still think she could “salvage” a career if she got her shit together, but I doubt it at this point. At this point too, I kind of want her, Eddie, and Brandi to all go away.

    • MW says:

Speaking of “accepting” country fans, etc., that audience, comprised of all ages, went nuts for her after that performance. If she could just realize that and get a grip, accept herself gracefully for who she is and what she has to offer, she would be miles ahead.

      • Lady D says:

I think she started crying because she is very insecure. After listening to evil Ediot cut her down, (allegedly) all the plastic surgery, the failed lawsuits, cancelled concerts to dong sit, the failure of shitfire, she was just overwhelmed by actual acceptance for the first time in a long time. Or, you know, she was faking it again.

  7. Dani says:

She might be 50 shades of crazy but I always loved her voice.

  8. Christo says:

I am not a Leann fan by any stretch of the imagination, but this dress does look good on her. I’ll give her that. Eddie, by contrast, doesn’t look as great as he has in the past. I think his shoes are what throws me off; they seem out of place.

    • lovegossipbutnotL&E says:

The shoes got me too. It looks like he walked thru a mud puddle and water damaged the tips. Or is that the way they’re suppose to look? Either way, totally dorky. 😉

    • gogoGorilla says:

Me, too, to both of your comments.

I really like that first dress on her.

      He looks like shit.

She really needs to ditch him, get some therapy, and work with a vocal coach. Her voice is interesting but what she’s doing to it now really sucks (all that warbling, running too long on the notes, making the O faces, whatever). She could probably get her career back if she could extricate herself from this situation. Of course, knowing her crazy, she’d probably just get back into another “awkward” situation with someone else…

  9. lucy2 says:

I kind of love that dress, but am so tired of her.

    • emmie_a says:

Oh I am totally tired of her, actually cannot stand her – but LOVE LOVE LOVE that dress!!! She looks great. And yes, she can sing. She should stick with singing and stop w/the crazy.

  10. MrsBPitt says:

Between the two of them, you couldn’t make one normal eye! Mr. and Mrs. Squints!

  11. Jmo says:

I like her voice but she has lost her ability to enunciate her words. She looked appropriate for the event,

  12. LG says:

She doesn’t wear her wedding ring anymore… Isn’t that strange, especially from her?

    • MonicaQ says:

Generally accepted explanation is that she threw it at Eddie in a fight and can’t find it. This was the same fight that she “broke her hand”.

  13. paola says:

What the heck happened to her face??

    • TheOriginalKitten says:

      Eddie happened to her face.

    • mrspatrickbateman says:

Eddie. It’s funny because she made fun of Brandi for her ‘plastic-ness’ but Brandi told LeAnn she would end up looking the same because that’s how he likes his women. That man sure knows how to pick them, I guess Brandi was young and inexperienced and LeAnn has really low self esteem.

  14. blue marie says:

I’m not a huge fan of the dress but she looks good. I watched a few minutes of her singing last night and she may be a whole lotta crazy, but she can sing and she sounded good.

    • TheOriginalKitten says:

I hate the dress so much–it looks so cheap and when she wears that much eye liner, her eyes disappear completely.

As far as her singing goes: I just have to go by what everyone else is saying here (that she can sing) because I’m sure as hell not listening to that sh*t.

  15. LahdidahBaby says:

She looks the best I’ve ever seen her. Both dresses are lovely, especially the pink one. Beautiful voice, too–maybe the best female country music voice around today–she never hits a bad note. Too bad she has made herself so unlikeable, but maybe she’ll redeem herself yet somehow, if she can come unstuck from the whole Eddie Cibrian mess and get some help for her mental health issues.

Wonder why she never seems to be wearing her wedding ring anymore.

  16. LahdidahBaby says:

Eddie looks like a yokel and a yumptydump.

  17. Tiki Bar Queen says:

He looks bad. Ugly velvet suit, he’s getting kinda chunky, and the shoes…yeah, for once she dressed better than him. I dont like her voice anymore and think she could really use a vocal coach (shes too arrogant of course to get one) because her singing style is not what it used to be.
She looked prettier than she has in a long time at this event

  18. karkar says:

I really liked her first dress. It fit her her really well. Eddie looks terrible.

  19. Christin says:

Good that she didn’t wear some skimpy or garish number since she focus should be on the one being honored.

It’s hard to believe that she is actually older than Patsy was when she died. There are some good singers out there, but Patsy was in a class by herself in terms of voice and the way she could do a song.

  20. Kim says:

Voice a++. Dress b for first, a for second. Chemistry btwn couple D. Personality F

  21. Rita says:

LeAnn was not emotional after the performance. She’s as fake as her marriage. Still no wedding ring.

    • briargal says:

Her emotions could have been nerves–geting through the performance–or could have been because of her problems in her life or I agree with you for the effect it would have on people. She does like to have pity parties at her gigs and I think she felt a few tears would win some people over. Hard to figure her out sometimes.

      • Jayna says:

I totally disagree. LeAnn was raised on Patsy Cline and grew up singing her songs on stage and has always said Patsy is her favorite singer. LeAnn was one of the few, even at her young age, that could do justice to Patsy’s songs. Crazy was a bit hit for LeAnn. She really was moved having been chosen to perform this tribute to Patsy Cline on the 50th anniversary of Patsy’s death, and as LeAnn said she had been singing Patsy’s songs for 20 years and it felt like she had come full circle.

I can honestly see why at that moment LeAnn was moved. People like to link everything to LeAnn’s tabloid situation, but not everything revolves around our obssession with her messy life.

And I think this is an emotional link to the actual situation, which was this was a huge honor for LeAnn, and also feeling the energy from the audience. And maybe only those longtime fans of country music would understand who revere Patsy Cline and remember this young girl with a big voice stunning people with her rendition of so many Patsy Cline songs. My mother raised me on that, so I remember.

      • TheTruthHurts says:

Jayna, LeAnn only feels bad for herself. The emotions were clearly coming from the lyrics that mirrored what is going on in her relationship right now and nothing to do with Patsy Cline.

    • ya says:

She and Patsy had a lot in common – both had those big, warbling chest voices, and both had crazy personal lives – Patsy had infidelity scandals too – repeatedly cheating on her first husband, ultimately with the man who became her second (and who also cheated on her).

    • dontbuyit says:

Shes no longer used to performing in front of big audiences, as an awards show, or standing ovations. Maybe she is crying for the career she could have had, but never will.

  22. Sam says:

Leanne looks nice. Their body language looks as is they just had a fight and he is trying to get back into her good graces.

  23. briargal says:

I have to admit LR gave a very good performance last night. She looked great on stage–loved her dress and her hairstyle–and she does have a great voice. She took a big step towards resurrecting her career. But it can’t be done on just this one performance.

She needs to concentrate on singing–standing up singing, without the flailing of arms and conversation she does at her gigs. People pay to hear a singer sing, not to go to a pity party.
—She needs to get off Twitter. I know this will never happen because she needs the interaction(good and bad) with people like a plant needs oxygen.— She needs to put the past 4-5 years behind her (marriage–swfing-harassing–papping) and just go on a whirlwind worldwide tour and sing! —And she needs some serious mental and emotional therapy. She has needed that for a long time even before EC. He just made it worse. She has always acted like an entitled, spoiled brat while growing up–thanks, bio-mom! — She needs to develop some humility and compassion for others.—She needs to learn that the world does not revolve around her.

Do I think she will be successful in resurrecting her career? No. She’s been this way far too long. But miracles have been known to happen. Her voice is a gift from God and she should use it and forget the part of her life that is all drama. Good luck, LR.

    • LahdidahBaby says:

      Good post!

    • Christin says:

Good list. Another thing is to stop making excuses. And actually show up to work engagements and give people their money’s worth. Had this been a concert in the Midwest, what are the odds she’d have made it?

    • LadySlippers says:

FYI: Plants need carbon dioxide and give off oxygen. 😉

      • briargal says:

Sorry– I do not have a green thumb as you can tell. Still stand by my comment that LR needs twitter to exist! Thanks for the correction though!

  24. Deanne says:

Big improvement from the X-Factor debacle a year ago. Her performance was okay, but she doesn’t use her voice tp the best of her ability and it isn’t what it once was. She garbles her words really badly and they’re hard to understand,. That being said, she looked much more attractive than usual. More polished and her dresses were much more flattering than what she’s worn in the past. Eduardo looked like a fool. Velvet tuxedo with mottled brown shoes? He looks like a tacky, bloated, lounge lizard. For once, she looks like she belongs and he looks like the awkward one. Their body language looks more like siblings, clowning for photos, than two people madly in love. She’s off her rocker, but I’d really like to see her lose the Cuban dead weight and get back to her country roots. It would be better for the kids, Brandi and LeAnn herself. Eddie Cibrian is a walking, talking, toxic waste of space.

  25. saxamaphone says:

Eddie looks like he is on something to me. Maybe that’s why she is pulling away and looking disgusted – he couldn’t get through an event with her without something in his system.

  26. Rita says:

I actually took the time to watch the video and I am always dumb-founded how people can say she is a good singer. Yes, she has great range and tone but unless you know the lyrics by heart, you cannot understand a single word she sings. It has always been her problem and probably the reason she does so many covers……because people already know the lyrics. If you like bellowing tones that don’t even resemble words or lyrics…..LeAnn’s your gal.

    • tricklady says:

Thank you! I have never been able to understand her worble!

    • claire says:

Right on, Rita. I have to watch videos with CC. I don’t know what the hell she’s singing most of the time. That’s probably why I get zero emotion out of her songs. I should say, rendition of songs….most of what she does is covers.

  27. judyjudy says:

She looks nice and her performance was good.

  28. Az says:

She looks really god in both dresses. It’s sad that the crazy makes one forget how well she songs.

  29. Bobbiesue says:

I try to separate out the gossip from the fashion with her. Sometimes I actually think she looks sexy/good. This is a giant NO for me.

  30. Bobbiesue says:

She used to NAIL Patsy Cline when she was 14; now her voice has changed it seems. She doesn’t treat it right or practice? Who knows. Also, nerves…it’s not the same as all those years ago.

    • claire says:

She really did. The hype about this performance seems really overstated to me. People probably are just so used to seeing her F up, that by comparison, this is the most amazing ever. It was OK, but I’m seeing people say that it’s even better than Patsy, that she’s identical in sound to Patsy, it’s the most amazing performance they’ve ever seen. Really? Uh, no. It was OK.

    • Leslie says:

      I agree.

    • Nycboots says:

If she actually sounded like Patsy Cline these days, she would have a huge career and not be performing at zoos. She took a brilliant instrument and categorically destroyed it through lack of care and maintenance. Oh, and Patsy Cline also sang with deep soul which is something Rimes has never had even a nodding acquaintance with.

      • Christin says:

Patsy sang with deep soul —- Exactly! And you can clearly understand the words Patsy sang.

I would rather listen to someone who sings with genuine emotion and clarity than someone who wants to show off vocal acrobatics.

  31. Stacey says:

It looks like Eddie doesn’t want to touch her. When his hand is around her back, he is almost pushing himself away from her. And then he closes his body off to her and covers his junk with his hands. They are so over. He just flew in for the red carpet. Her hair and face is just awful. She looks like she got a face transplant after she married Eddie. Plastic surgery on Young women’s faces never looks good.

How ironic are those lyrics to Patsy Cline’s song Crazy? “Crazy for thinking my love could keep you.” Yes, Leann, you are crazy for thinking you could homewreck Eddie and Brandi’s marriage, steal her children and crazy to think he would stay with you forever! Karma!

As for her crying at the end of her performance, she is a wreck. She isn’t crying because her life is so great and she is overflowing with joy after her performance, she is crying because her sham marriage is over and those lyrics have a whole new meaning now!

I believe they did spend Thanksgiving together. Eddie threw her a bone and spent the holiday with her because he felt bad and thought it would appease her and help him in their divorce negioations if she thought she stands a chance of getting him back. His parents looked so uncomfortable and awkward on the twitter photo she posted. the kids seemed clueless.

He is stringing her along and dangling the carrot to get as much as he can in their divorce. I think he shows up for appearances like this and the skydive thing and might sleep with her here and there which gives her hope they will reconcile but he is just screwing with her mind. Its horrible but sorry Leann, its karma coming to get you.

  32. TeresaGiudice says:

That was beautiful! If I was her I would have chosen my singing career over that unemployed free-loading Eddie Cibrian. The affair, her twitter obsession, and all the drama with Eddie’s trashy loud mouth ex wife have really taken the focus off of her truly amazing talent over the years.

  33. Jayna says:

She looked great last night. I loved the dress she wore in her performance even more than the one on the red carpet. She gave a beautiful performance Her voice isn’t as good as when she was known for singing Patsy’s songs, but still a gorgeous tone to her vocals and still showed her vocal range. I have always loved LeAnn’s voice and a far better singer than most of the country music singers these days in a live setting.

She has ruined her image all on her own for four years now, four freakin years, never once backtracking and listening to anybody. So I doubt she will change, but what a shame. She’s so talented and all this time would have still had the respect of the country music community, but she is just now known as the crazy singer who spends her time on twitter fighting with the ex-wife and who sets up a million photo-ops in California for gossip sites and mags.

Brandi is a big mess on TV these days, losing RHOBH fans in droves because of her trashy behavior. All LeAnn had to have done years ago was shut up, not co-opt her bonus sons, in such an obnoxious way on twitter and photo-ops, and stalking and baiting the ex-wife, and instead live her life focusing on her career and marriage privately and she would have been forgiven years ago.

She’s obviously mental that she would single-handedly destroy her own career and reputation with no one’s help. She will never get it and blame the haters on the internet and blame Brandi probably, but never look at herself as the real culprit. What a waste.

    • Lady D says:

I think Brandi’s very lucky that falcor came unhinged. Had their home been drama free, chances are they would have custody of the boys by now, based on Brandi’s actions in the past year alone.

      • Jayna says:

No way. They would have to prove Brandi’ s behavior on the weeks she had the boys was questionable, and there isn’t an iota of evidence that she is anything but a devoted mom on those weeks. But Brandy’s obnoxious behavior on the show and the drunk photos, etc., would have benefited LeAnn in coming through the affair scandal with her reputation intact had she behaved in an acceptable way, which is moot, because she’s been a mess herself.

      • Lady D says:

        Good to know Jayna, thanks.

      • TheTruthHurts says:

What a ridiculous thing to say. Nothing about Brandi’s behavior should make her worthy of losing her sons. Shame on you.

  34. Quinn says:

She’s morphed into Trisha Yearwood’s younger sister. 🙁

  35. Leslie says:

I haven’t read all the comments, but I’m pretty sure someone has already said this. Squint-eyed Ediot looks dumpy and low class. There’s something off about his suit. Not sure if it’s too big or just cheap. LeAnn looked the best I’ve seen her in a long time, though I think she needs to do some work on her voice, like pamper it and stay off the booze.

  36. bettyrose says:

I binge-watched her videos on YouTube last night. Wow is she talented. I don’t like many female vocalists and generally loathe country…but she’s really something special. I can understand now why her loyal fans might feel betrayed by her recent actions.

    • Jayna says:

Count me as one of them. I grew up on country, but wasn’t crazy about it. As I got a little older I became a fan of some artists, LeAnn is one of my favorite female voices in country music. I tried to believe she wasn’t as nuts and off the rails as she was for years, but gave up as she spiraled even more into ugly behavior. I choose to remember pre-Eddie LeAnn as a different person, not the person she is now, so can still enjoy that music. But it does anger me what she turned into.

Three of my favorite songs by her.

Love is an Army live – This vocal performance takes my breath away.
      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oYA0zf1qyII

Probably Wouldn’t Be This Way live- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T6ELTQlQRSc

This song makes me cry and listened to it all the time when I was grieving.
      What I Cannot Change – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gj__mu59Lbs

      • ya says:

I loved her performance of ‘What I Cannot Change’ with the GMCLA last year —

        http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=31YyEF3rdXs

I’m probably in the minority but I never liked her voice much when she was younger – she always sounded very nasal to me back then. Her voice has matured now in a good way IMO and she’s kept the range.

  37. dontbuyit says:

Thanks Celebitchy. I was waiting for someone to post the performance video, as I wasn’t interested in watching the low rent version of ACM. Leann looked so much better than she has in years. I loved the dress, hair, the whole ensemble. She did look really good. It’s amazing what having the right stylist and makeup artist can do, after seeing the salon picture. Now onto her voice.

Her voice is no where near as good as it used to be. Her performance was much better than the things I’ve seen on YT that fans have uploaded of recent gigs, but the tribute did not wow me. She sounded off key in a couple of places and it’s hard to understand the words. Her biggest problem is understanding what she is singing. She had a beautiful voice, now it’s just ok. Leann was one of those singers that could effortlessly sing. Not so much now. Girl can still sing, but not like she used to.

Years ago she would have been the only perfect choice to do a Pasty Cline Tribute but today, no! Her voice unfortunately, no longer amazes me and even if it did, I still wouldn’t purchase her music. Gasoline and Matches, I liked. Cute video, song was good. But will I purchase it. No! I will give her credit where credit is due, absolutely. But I will never support her or her music ever again.

  38. If Leann was a regular performer, I think when she watched that video of her singing she would not have been pleased. While she has a decent voice, I do not get where people still think she has one of the best country voices around. She no longer sounds like the same young girl that could duplicate Patsy almost perfectly. Leann now has a deeper voice and cannot seem to anunciate her words ever where you can understand what she’s singing. While her performance was good she did not knock it out of the park. Her older videos singing Patsy Cline sounded so much better. I don’t think she works on her voice to keep it in top shape. Can’t see her doing vocal exercises like Mariah Carey or others that appreciate and take care of their gift. Leann Rimes will never get back the fame or money she once had. She just doesn’t have the “it” factor any more to be a big money maker for any record company. And I don’t care what any blind says, Eddie is not leaving his meal ticket. There is no big settlement he is staying to get. She can’t have that much left. Chances are they won’t survive the course but I do not believe that anybody knows for sure any juicy tidbits on them splitting up at this point.

    • Christin says:

I’m all for comebacks, but I cannot see her having any significant success in today’s music world.

My ongoing suspicion is that he is staying around to see if any big deals come along. I imagine life at the casa is filled with dreams of when the big money starts flowing once again. It’s just around the corner, right?

    • dontbuyit says:

I don’t understand the hype about her performance last night either. In her heyday I don’t think she would have got the reaction she did last night. I can see the effort she put in, she cleans up nice. Vocally, she was average at best.

The blinds that are circling, I think the person is pulling the info from their butts. It’s getting them lots of attention and there is something to be had. Like making money off people that dislike Leann. A good strategy, but something I don’t trust about it all.

    • ya says:

huh? LR never sounded much like Patsy when she was younger – I think the comparison came from the choice of material LR sang and the fact that they both had big voices.

Mariah’s voice is shot, sadly, and has been for a long time – she mostly lipsynches in performances now.

  39. Zwella Ingrid says:

Beautiful dress. She really looks lovely.

  40. Samtha says:

I liked her performance dress, but not the red carpet one. Her performance was the best she’s done recently, but nowhere near the quality of what she used to do.

  41. Tiffany says:

You would think that after the reaction from audience would give LeAnn a bit of self awareness to get her career back on track and get rid of that waste of dong space.

  42. Ming says:

Dress = sparkly and pretty. Definite spanx, but who doesn’t.
Singing = meh. Her hand gestures always get me, like she’s overcompensating..very distracting.
She also tilts her head up and back and juts out her jaw.. Isn’t that horrible singing posture/form?

I think she cried cause she thought people were cheering/clapping for her..but they were really honouring and doing it for Patsy and her legacy.

Sheryl Crow is 50 and looks younger than Leann.

    Eddie the douche, as always.

  43. Rita says:

OMG, LeAnn is so BUSTTTTTED!!! Life and Style is featuring and article that shows LeAnn and Eddie’s Christmas card. LeAnn looks really photoshopped and 10lbs lighter in the face but here’s the kicker………..ready?……..Anticipation, drama, ………….okay enough suspense. The Christmas card shows her wearing her wedding ring. This years card is an old photoshopped photo which may very well give credibility to the blinds that Eddie is no longer living with her. How terribly sad that she is using old photos to keep up the charade. Nuts to the nth power.

    • Stacey says:

It does look janky. And her hair is in one of her drunk buns. She hired that photographer to come take the photo for the card and then doesn’t even brush her hair or slap on some make up? I really think she was drunk and high on pills this entire summer and fall until she sobered up when Eddie dumped her and her new pr team got control of the reigns. She looks like absolute crap.

  44. MAC says:

I did not read your article or the comments. What I was sad about is that she was picked as the person to do a tribute to Patsy Cline.

    • briargal says:

I agree. I would rather have seen Beverly D’Angelo sing–I believe she played Patsy in “Coal Miner’s Daughter”.

  45. Anon says:

I thought she did a great tribute to Patsy. She looked good too. Now to just stay off twitter and cease with the self-family-Eddie-promotional games. Focus on her career, not the personal life being public.

  46. Jane says:

Leann cried for one reason and one reason only: to garner as much sympathy as possible and milk it for all its worth. The whole performance made me ill.

  47. Zooyork says:

No matter what, she’ll always be fugly! Hideous body and hideous face! I’ve never seen anything like it.

  48. shueler says:

They both look high as a kite.

  49. Patti Nichols says:

I dont know. She seems genuine here. She really can sing. Have to give her that. I think she looks pretty and healthy.

  50. Leslie says:

OMG, did anyone see this? She was thinking about SEX the entire time she was singing. WTF? Someone really does need to put tape over her mouth. Does she even have PR people?

    • Christin says:

Well, it didn’t stay classy very long, did it? Perform a tribute for a legend and then say something tacky afterwards.

When these shows pick someone to do a tribute, it might help to choose someone with a track record of respect for others and humility. The focus should have been on the individual being honored.

  51. Lynn Tripson says:

I have never cared for Leann much. I follow all of the blogs and LeAnn’s shenanigans closely. However, she killed this performance , carried herself with grace, looked lovely and I think those were real tears of gratitude, sorrow. and relief. I almost want to see her come back. Maybe she’s got it in her.

    • briargal says:

No she will never do what she has to do to become popular again. She will always live her life that way SHE wants–no matter what! What a pathetic loser!

  52. Sway says:

I just saw the “Cibrians’ Chrismas card”… and once again, I’m disgusted to my very core. Its message is so disturbing… especially the smaller print, just ugh.

    • Cris says:

Def photoshopped card. Jake’s head is bigger than both LR’s and Mason’s, plus she is wearing her ring, which she hasn’t worn since Sept. I am of the opinion as well that she has not worked on her voice, to her detriment. Like any skill, it needs to be exercised or bad habits are formed over time unless corrected. Even Tiger Woods practices constantly to improve.
