Unless I really like a guy, I don’t pay any attention to his Adam’s apple. And even then, it’s not a guarantee that I’ll pay attention. Like, I don’t think I’ve ever looked at Benedict Cumberbatch or Michael Fassbender’s apples and thought, “Yes, I love them.” Adam’s apples are just one of those things I’ve never cared about. But for some dudes, their apples give them complexes. Too big or too small, too hard to shave around, whatever – some dudes care. And Bruce Jenner is one of those dudes. According to TMZ (coughLucifershomegirlcough), Bruce Jenner is going to have his apple shaved down. Seriously.
Bruce Jenner is flattening his Adam’s Apple … TMZ has learned. Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ … the Olympian met with a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon today for a consultation for a procedure called a Laryngeal Shave — which smooths out the Adam’s Apple.
The procedure is typically done on patients who are in the first stage of gender reassignment, but Bruce tells TMZ that is NOT the case with him. He says, “I just never liked my trachea.”
We know this is Bruce’s second visit to the office. The doctor took photographs today and sources tell us surgery has been scheduled for early next year, but Bruce insists no surgery has been set yet — it was just a consultation.
We got video (below) of Bruce earlier today leaving the doctor’s office.
5:10PM PDT: Jenner just called TMZ and wanted to add this … He says he initially went to the plastic surgeon because the basal cell carcinoma that was removed from his nose in September left a large scar that didn’t heal well. He wanted plastic surgery for his nose, and says while he was there he consulted the doc on the Laryngeal Shave.
I’m saying this with absolutely no judgment: it would not surprise me in the least if this was one of Bruce’s first steps towards his eventual sexual reassignment. I do wonder sometimes if Bruce wants to change. If he does, God bless. That’s his truth. And if not – sometimes a Laryngeal Shave is just a Laryngeal Shave! – then I hope his surgery goes well. It’s perfectly possible this is all some kind of cover for more plastic surgery, like a neck lift.
Meanwhile, Lucifer’s Homegirl had a busy night because she also told TMZ that Khloe Kardashian is going to file for divorce today:
Khloe Kardashian is filing for divorce from Lamar Odom … TODAY … TMZ has learned.
Sources tell us, Khloe will be citing irreconcilable differences in her legal docs. The split should be pretty cut and dry — an ironclad prenup which kept all their assets separate … and no kids.
As we reported, Lamar’s bizarre freestyle rap video — in which he brags about cheating on Khloe — was the last straw in their crumbling relationship. Immediately after TMZ posted the video last month, Khloe stopped wearing her wedding ring.
The end was a long time coming … Khloe had expressed dire concerns about the marriage ever since she learned about Lamar’s crack addiction earlier this year, but she forestalled divorce for fear he’d OD or worse. Lamar and Khloe tied the knot in September 2009.
I could make jokes about this, but really… I think it’s taken this long for Khloe to understand that her marriage is in shambles. She was trying to save it and she really loved Lamar, but I think she’s made her peace with the idea that she can’t save it (or him).

Not to be nit-picky, but “cross dresser” is not considered a respectful term. “Transvestite” (someone who enjoys wearing opposite gender clothing but doesn’t wish to change his/her biological sex) or “transsexual” (someone who does wish to change their biological sex to match how he/she feels inside) are the respectful and politically correct terms to use.
I beg to differ. ‘Transvestite’ is actually considered offensive by some people I’ve met, whereas ‘cross dresser’ is favoured as more benign and less ‘label-y’,

Yes, I’ve seen a couple blinds indicating she cheated first and that was part of why Lamar turned to drugs. Then she tried to cover it by getting him to go to rehab. In that context, a video about him cheating on her (for revenge perhaps?) makes sense. I haven’t seen the video though so I don’t know what it actually said. Given the nature of this family, I have no problem believing these blinds. Also, didn’t Lamar actually defend the Kardashian’s saying they treated him like family more than his own father. So I can see her betrayal cutting that much deeper if it is true.

It’s so sad that Lamar is an addict and pushed away a woman who truly loved him. For her to have waited this long in the hopes that he would get well, it shows her love. Addiction is a horrible thing for all involved and I hope we don’t soon get a headline that Lamar has passed away.
It’s good that Khloe is doing this because she can’t help him and she can’t allow this to ruin her life and well being.
I disagree. She has used the relationship and his problems to promote her show. I truly don’t think these people are capable of love. Loving people think about their partners first, and the almighty dollar and a television show much further down the list. She treated him like an infant, and invited the world to see, and I have no doubt that she and her family leaked stories to humiliate him. And I’m not even counting the rumors that she was the one who introduced the drugs to keep her weight down. I agree that they should separate, but not because I she is a victim.

The only reason the truth about Khloe introducing him to drugs isn’t a main focus is that more than likely he’s being paid handsomely to keep his mouth shut. No one finds it funny he has nothing but great things to say to the press? It’s not like she’s some saint – it’s just that her family edits the shows and has the press on speed dial. I can’t believe anyone would honestly think she’s the devoted wife who fought for her marriage and was humiliated by this mean old drug addict. If anything, this story makes her look sympathetic, loyal, and charmingly naive – everything the public doesn’t see in the other two. It’s a smart PR move. Nothing more. If you still don’t believe it then ask yourself why the mother didn’t keep the story out of the press. She absolutely could have.
