On Friday, we discussed the heart-shattering news that Selena Gomez took back Justin Bieber as her lovah for the upteenth time. I’ve wasted more time scratching my head over this problem than I’d care to admit. Selena is supposedly exhausted and canceled an international tour to deal with her life. Instead of doing something productive, she’s hanging out with Justin on Instagram. Biebs captioned the above photo, “Love the way you look at me.”

One has to wonder what Selena could possibly be thinking to get back with Bieber. After Daddy made it rain for strippers and got caught sneaking out of a brothel, she still wanted to be with him. What could Selena possibly gain from being with Bieber? Surely his bedside manner isn’t that amazing. Gross.
The only possible scenario I can contemplate is that Justin’s people cut a deal with Selena. He needs all the good PR he can get, and she’s such a “good” girl. Here’s the thing: Justin’s Believe movie bombed big time compared to his 2011 movie, Never Say Never, which grossed $99 million. Believe has been out since Christmas day and hasn’t even cleared $6 million yet. All of Bieber’s whining about media bullying and threats of retirement haven’t helped at all. His fans have stopped buying concert tickets. He’s on the way out, and I can’t fathom why Selena would ever chain herself to such a sinking ship. My daughter adores Selena but is so bummed about this Bieber reunion.

Segways are so douchey and always remind me of Niles Crane from Frasier and G.O.B. from Arrested Development. John Mayer used to ride around on one too, which makes them the offical douchemobile.

Same question I was asking. For a second, I inexplicably forgot what article I was reading, and concluded I was looking at a pic that Beyonce posted of shoes for her daughter.

Seriously, at this point…birds of a feather. I doubt Selena is any more of a “good girl” than any other star her age- and whether she’s returning to Bieber due to LUUUVVVEEE or publicity, she needs a proverbial ass-kicking either way.
There is a few blinds going around about her bad habits. All I know is if the girl cancelled her concert to have me time and focus on herself, why the fuck is she hanging around Justin? She is only getting bad PR from this, so I’m going with a drug habit combined with hanging out with the beibs. She looks codependent on him

I agree with this statement so much! While Selena is cute, she would’ve faded away without the publicity that dating Justin gave her. She made the first move for sure.

Although I would love for this to be a PR stunt it seems real to me. Being with Bieber does nothing positive for Selena’s image so I can’t see how this could be considered good PR for her. This makes her look like an idiot.
Yeah…. I kind of have to agree that that makes the most sense. Maybe her concert failed, and she went back to him for comfort and to maintain relevancy? She is starting to crack lately. I think she is entering a downward spiral as well. Shame. Hope she comes out of it okay.
Apparently a lot of Aussies are Selena Gomez fans (go figure!) and the concert dates were selling well, so the cancellations were definitely down to personal issues.
I can’t imagine how being around Baby Biebs is going to help, whatever her actual issues may have been.
I don’t know if this is a plausible possibility, but I’ve started to wonder if she was simply feeling lonely & depressed (plus stressed out & under pressure bc of the rapidly approaching tour starting), & missed Pissbucket in a moment of weakness… So she made up some health excuse in order to have time to be with him (not unlike Gaga with her oh-so-serious ‘hip-surgery’).
Being seen back together out having fun so soon after canceling the tour, it creates a bad image & could cause fans to question her motives.

@Leila – I’m not so sure. While its definitely true that no amount of rehab will redeem him in the eyes of we Celebitches (or anyone else that has even a little common sense), I don’t think it would be *impossible* to earn back some of his former fans.
If he & Selena present themselves as a (drug-free) ‘lovey-dovey monogamous committed cavity-inducing teeny-bopper romance’, & he stops doing stupid shit for awhile, I could see some using that to justify giving him another chance. Plus some people prefer fangirling couples, as opposed to either person alone, so will get pulled back into supporting them both. They’d all just idiotically assume ‘Hey! Selenas’ been a ‘good influence’, she straitened him out… he’s a totally ‘new’ person!’

So weird. She has so much to lose. So much hard earned respect was lost on that moment when those pictures first appeared. Mila Kunis lost so much when she got together with Ashton. She was respected actress after Black Swan and next big thing. And now she basically is “that one that dates idiot and loser Ashton Kutsher”.
What’s the point in it for Selena? Eternal love? It did not work for last 10 times they were dating. Why would it work now. She will hang out with him for some time and then will dump him again and will look very stupid.
Beieber is beyond saving. Nothing can save him or his career. Even if he will dress up normally and will try to behave it won’t help – that ship has sailed away. He is gross, he get too old to be teen idol every month. Some teens grow up, some will find another teen idol to adore and Bieber will never get adult fans. It will be only down hill from here.
Your right. With the exception of HollywoodLife.com in which everyone is beyond thrilled, all the other entertainment aggregate websites have mostly negative reactions to Selena getting back with JB. Selena Gomez does have a lot to loose and in between her sudden tour cancellation and her seemingly reignited relationship with Justin Bieber she may have just divided and lost a lot of her audience. Bieber’s career is on the decline. Between his own antics, his crazy fan(atics), and his thugish body guards, Justin has little to loose within his career slide and if Selina thinks she can save Justin Bieber, she is mistaken and her fans will let her know that. If she ignores the fans that she says cares for each and every one of for to long, this may sadly signal the decline of her own career and a rough 2014, something that she does not need after a difficult latter 2013.
