Kate Upton appears in a spread in the February issue of Vogue (the one with Lena Dunham on the cover). Kate is featured alongside players from popular football teams — the Jets and the Giants? I am not going to pretend to know what the hell I’m talking about when it comes to football. Like, I can tell Tom Brady is not in this shoot. Oh and I recognize Victor Cruz because he’s holding a jersey with his name on it. That’s about as far as it goes.
(I also know that the Seahawks won last night and are headed to the Super Bowl. Because Twitter told me so.)
With that said, Kate looks lovely here in all her busty glory. She’s fighting off hordes of football fans, which is hilarious. That must have been fun to shoot both for the guys and Kate. She’s hanging out on the sidelines with hunky players. She’s in at a concession stand with Jimmy Fallon. He’s freaking me out a bit. I take it he’s a big Jets fan. The face paint thing at games is something I’ll never understand. Ever.
What is truly important here is that Kate is selling the hell out of these clothes. The blue dress is to die for. Seriously. I love how she’s giving Fallon the side eye while dealing with a wind machine. She’s a great model. Kate knows how to work a shot.

The used the Jets & Giants because the game will be played at MetLife Stadium (and it’s going to be cold) I like the photos, and she does look good in the blue dress.
In the top photo she looks like she’s being molested/assaulted. It’s leaving a bad taste in my mouth. The rest are great.

Agreed. I love Kate, but the top photo just looks off. Like her facial expression doesn’t belong in that scene. Everyone around her is too fierce for her to just be sitting there w/a half smile.

I love Kate, she makes me dream of a return to the days of the supermodel, Cindy, Naomi, Linda, Christy…etc. She definitely doesn’t have their fierceness, but, body wise it is a step in the right direction.
I think it’s also that she smiles? She isn’t afraid to just have fun. Modeling has become so serious now always with the same open mouth dead faced pose. I like that she smiles!
Jimmy is wearing a mashup of giants and Jets paraphernalia. Someone mentioned it’s because the Super Bowl will be at their stadium. My first thought was that maybe he is generally a NY fan, and so he likes both teams! I think the shoot is cute =)

She looks like she’s been photoshopped in the mid-section in every single photograph, to me.
She looks best in a bathing suit and/or clothing that resembles a bathing suit (looking at you blue dress).
IMO, fashion shoots are not her strong suit, while swim suit shoots are.
Too bad she looks nothing like that in reality.
