Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning were in Paris yesterday when nearly every other A, B and C-list fashion girl nursed their Met Gala taffeta hangovers in NYC. Angelina was all “Surprise, bitch.” The Jolie Moment is upon us. And she will be with us for the next month. AT LEAST. Dear Jesus: please let Angelina Jolie have a “surprise, bitch” moment at Cannes. PLEASE.
Angelina is wearing Ralph Lauren and Elle is wearing Valentino. Angelina’s ensemble is boss. I hate a peplum, but this is by far the most tolerable peplum I’m ever seen. I even hestitate to really call this a peplum –it seems more like a fitted strapless blouse with a little belt. The whole thing fits her really well and I’m kind of amazed it’s staying up. Angelina also wore special Christian Louboutin heels – I’m including a close-up. Elle is wearing special Charlotte Olympia “Sleeping Beauty” shoes too.
Oh, and I love that they’re holding hands!!! Elle and Angie are really sweet together. I would imagine they’re less like friends and more like mom-and-daughter.

IMO when it comes to peplum the thinner you are the better it looks. It doesn’t fair so well on curvier women. AJ looks good here.

Jumpsuits are my fave right now, and she looks great (as usual).
I love Angelina’s outfit, it’s something that I would love to have in my closet…even those amazing heels, lol. I mean yes, she looks a little thin (not concern trolling, promise!) but still, awesome look!
I was actually thinking that she looked slightly fuller than she was a few months ago. She has always had super thin extremities so they look especially thin when her weight is down. She looks healthy though.

While I think her boobs are fine pics don’t always prove much. There are certain bras and shirts that I can wear that makes my boobs look smaller; others make them look like my cup definitely runneth over.

Yep. Someone here mentioned how actresses used to pick their own clothing for awards ceremonies and how it all changed once the trend of stylists happened. I like that Angie does her own thing. And really, when you have a face like that, you don’t need to distract with a lot of ornamentation and someone else’s ideas.
I can see why you’d want a stylist–but man, if I could have my pick of couture, I’d pick out EVERYTHING. I like to think that I’d be a biracial version of Elizabeth Taylor…..the jewelry p0rn, the formal gowns with gloves….my version of heaven. If you can find a picture of Angelina Jolie prior to her double mastectomy–and post the link so we all can see it–in which her breasts look noticeably smaller than they do above, you will have proven your case. But consider … there must be ‘some’ reason why people claiming her breasts are (now) bigger haven’t posted a damning picture as confirmation.

Jolie’s body might be thin but for these type of outfits, it’s perfect. She can easily become a fashion icon if she put in some effort but this bish knows she owns everybody with a simple outfit and crazy shoes. None of my faves can except for Blanchett and Theron maybe.

I’ll like this movie a lot better than Sleeping Beauty. Maleficent is what saved the cartoon for me. I never thought the story was all that interesting–just Maleficent–because Aurora was boring….all she did was sit around, be pretty, and sleep. So I saw the orig. cartoon a few times, but that was it. Best part was when Maleficent turned into a dragon…

1. I feel like that’s not really a peplum at all but like you said, simply a belted top. peplums stick way out on purpose, this is not really extreme.
