The Funniest Video Ever

I love Will Ferrell. I think the man is comedy gold in Anchorman, and I love that he could do understated comedy as well, like in Stranger Than Fiction. But I have just seen something that has surpassed any of what I have seen in a while.

I saw this video on TMZ that Ferrell made with long time business partner Adam McKay, with Ferrell pretending to be shouted at by a landlord for not paying his rent. But it’s not Ferrell who steals this short clip–it’s the 2 year old little girl Pearl (McKay’s daughter), who is playing the part of Ferrell’s landlord:

Am I wrong and seriously demented for thinking that little girl was precious? I mean, I don’t condone my daughter cursing or anything, but I just spit out my Frappuccino that was so funny. And apparently it’s OK for her to curse because her daddy said so:

From TMZ:

McKay told the L.A. Times that he’s not worried about his daughter picking up bad language: “She’s in that phase right now where you can repeat anything to her and she won’t remember it.”

See? I’m not the only one that is going to lose any parenting awards for thinking this was funny!

Update: The clip can’t be played on YouTube anymore, so here’s the website.

I saw this yesterday from the TMZ link and I passed it on to a lot of people- it’s hilarious! I know some don’t find Will Farrell funny but just to look at him cracks me up.

  3. Jessie says:

Apparently she is really swearing. His wife must have killed him after this was done.

  4. Jaime says:

Good luck getting her to *not* say that anymore, Will! BITCH BITCH BITCH!!! Made me laugh so hard!!!!

My son was saying “shap” for a while, which is a unique combination of shit and crap. I inadvertently taught him to say “shit” whenever I dropped something or something went wrong, so I tried to teach him to say “oh crap” instead. He put the two together in his unique way and was saying “oh shap!”

He’s not doing it any more though. Thanks Jessie for posting this cute video. I was laughing so hard!

I was on the fence about having kids…this video convinced me I must have one!!!!

  7. Jessie says:

Am I even a worst mother that when I watched this video I had three children in the background watching it laughing as hard as me? My friend is going to kick my ass when she gets home and hears what they’ve been watching.

    This was damn funny.

  9. Angelika says:

I’m sorry but I didn’t find this funny at all =P I mean, the little girl is adorable, and it’s even kinda cute the way she’s using bad language, but except of the “I want my moneeeeey” part, I wasn’t laughing at all..

  10. kailie2 says:

It’s a bit shocking but funny.. I’m sure she doesn’t understand what she’s saying and she won’t remember it. Sounds like her mother was feeding her the lines. My whole family laughed watching it yesterday.

  11. Diva says:

I’m at work so I was keeping it “under control” for most of the video, even though I thought it was hilarious… but when she was sitting on the ground and said “I’m just buzzed,” OMG, I couldn’t hold the laughter back any longer!

  12. AC says:

That was frigging hillarious. I think it s great. She’s too young to remember if that is the only time she’s made to say it i don’t tink its a problem. Thats soooo cute and funny. I love parents with senses of humor. We need more of those.

  13. Action says:

Now THAT was funny!!!! LOVED IT.

  14. someone says:

Funny as hell! That little girl reminds me of my grandaughter.

his wife isn’t gonna kill him, considering she’s the one feeding the little girl the lines, as evident by the “come mommy” at the end when she’s leaving

Hilarious. I love me some W. Ferrell.
The little girl, Pearl, is a laugh riot, with no lasting damage done. (and I consider myself to be a humorless mother of 3 when it comes to kids’ well-being.)
    Just fantastic. Really.

  17. gavin says:

Jessie, this was circulating at work a few days back, and the rumor here was that they had a voice over artist dubbed in for her?

  18. sassymommy says:

I’m with you, Angelika. I have two very young kids, and it’s a bald face lie that they don’t remember or repeat what they hear. I hate to be a tight ass, but if the parents will do this, what else will they do? It’s just not something I would do, but I admit it’s funny–if it’s not your kid.

  19. Lionheart says:

The video is no longer available due to a copyright claim! 🙁

  20. ilovewillbut says:

This really isn’t funny. I don’t care if a kid swears, it just isn’t that amusing.

Thanks Jessie I loved it! Very funny.
