Prince Harry got to play sports with little kids yesterday & the results were adorable

Prince Harry was in Suffolk, England yesterday on an official trip. He spent time at the agricultural show (he spent a long time looking at cows) and then he got to change out of his suit and into some track pants so he could play rugby and football with a group of children for Inspire Suffolk. Those are the best photos, of course. Because Harry is a big kid and he loves being around children. I can’t wait for Harry to become a dad – he will be so hands-on and loving and playful. Why can’t he find a half-decent middle-class blonde who wants to have ginger babies? There are also a few photos of Harry’s shirt flying up so you get to see his “happy trail.” Enjoy.

As for the last blonde who could have had his babies if she wasn’t such a drama queen, The Mail reports that Cressida Bonas is rehearsing for a play which will be performed at Hay-on-Wye. The play is There’s a Monster In the Lake and Cressy has a small part. So… what about her career as a PA or whatever?

And finally, a commercial was released for Harry’s new project, The Invictus Games. These are the Wounded Warrior Games, which Harry witnessed in America last year and he brought to the UK. He got a bunch of celebrities to appear in this ad and it’s really amazing. It actually made me choke up! Tom Hardy, Daniel Craig and Stephen Fry are in there.

    Awwww!!!

I like seeing photos of him with kids, always so cute.

  3. LadyMTL says:

He really does look like he’s having a great time…I get a vibe from him, like he’d be an awesome dad.

    • Secret Squirrel says:

I get the vibe he would be the type to get roaring drunk and send all his female phone buddies dirty texts in the middle of the night whilst laughing drunkenly at his own misguided wit…

He is at least consistently fun and is very giving of himself to support the kids. The “firm” needs a bit of loosening up and Harry always delivers…

      • bluhare says:

I can totally see that. Especially after reading he used to send Chelsy romantic texts when he was rip roaring drunk!

  4. Christin says:

His ease with children reminds me of his mother.

“As for the last blonde who could have had his babies if she wasn’t such a drama queen” Like having his babies would be a good thing! Ain’t nobody got time for dealing with that family.

    • kay/lv says:

you are right. her family is so confusing about whos kid is who and how many kids were born when. geez! you would need a road map to seat them if they ever got married. Oh and you would have to seat Ingrid seward close to mary gaye and the former editor for tattler and her current man who is also in pr. Harry has made a clean break. Oh and fergie would probably be there.

      • LAK says:

Much has been made of the multiple married parents and how this might affect the outcome of Cressida’s long term relationship prospects in a negative way, which is a fair enough judgement, BUT if you look at all her older siblings, they are settled in long term relationships, married or co-habiting, for many years and by years, i mean more than 7yrs at least.

No partner hopping from the children so perhaps they learnt something positive from their parents’ example that isn’t being repeated in their own relationships.

    Hott!

    the trail………yum…….

    • bluhare says:

Anyone for a chorus of “Happy Trails”???

    • HH says:

I do enjoy photos of Harry’s Happy Trail. Trust me, I DO. However, I would like to know the difference between this and when Kate played volleyball and showed her stomach. Some, *not all* gave Kate flack for this. Was it due to how she was dressed? Would stomach showing have been okay if she was dressed more appropriately? (I recall having issues with the wedges of doom while playing volleyball as opposed to the shirt). Let’s discuss! 🙂

      • Mouse says:

I had no problems with the volleyball pics. It’s the constant Duchess cheek pics that are starting to annoy me. Had Harry been showing crack I’m sure we’d be all over this post 😉

      • HH says:

@Mouse – Yes. Her bum does overshadow a lot. Perhaps she’s trying to let Pipster (and the world) know she takes care of her derri-heir too. 😉

      • LNG says:

I had the same thought as you HH. I didn’t mind the pics of Kate’s stomach when playing volleyball – I thought she was appropriately dressed (even though I do not like those damn wedges!!), and her shirt came up because she was getting into the game. Same goes for Harry. I wonder if those who criticized her for inadvertently showing her stomach feel about these pictures of Harry.

      • wolfpup says:

I just think that everyone is tired of seeing her body…kind of a crescendo because there are so many photos of it, and expectations, are for a dignified presence .

  8. Catk says:

Where is the outrage? Why doesn’t he have WEIGHTS sewn into the hem of his shirt? If Kate had shown that much stomach during one of her matches, there would have been plenty of fainting and hand-wringing.

    • m says:

The difference is that he is dressed for paying sports while Kate no doubt would be wearing eight inch heels and something to intentionally show off her body.

    • bluhare says:

LOL (/sarcasm off now . . . Kate didn’t get any flak for showing her stomach playing volleyball either)

    • Catk says:

Please, he gets such a pass, while Kate is examined under the microscope. He grew up in this world, yet still rolls around drunk and naked, shows up in Nazi costumes (so hilarious!) and countless other incidents of immature and attention-seeking behavior.

      • bluhare says:

You were serious. I thought you were kidding.

PS Please see my comment about Kate not getting flak for showing her stomach playing volleyball. Sometimes context is everything.

      • kay/lv says:

seriously, give it a rest about the Nazi costume. it was a decade ago, he said sorry now let it go. I wish everyone who brought that up would have to disclose all the stupid crap that they have done. Oh and by the way, his brother prince William, the future king, thought the costume was funny and was also present when harry got it.

      • FLORC says:

        CatK
Truth about Harry is he has the tough climb. Every screw up of his is front page. And past mistakes can be brought up again should William have bad press like the hunting vacation without Kate, george, schooling, and with ex Jecca. Harry’s old, old hunting picture was brought back.

Thing is William is protected. Kate is very protected as well unless a public mishap like this last 1 happens.
Meanwhile Harry is working and doing everything right. He’s active with his charities and military service. He parties sure, but he works very hard and keeps the 2 seperate..
Harry has a target on his back and little can be found on him. William is the golden prince, but dirt still leaks. It’s just not as cut and dry as the press articles have you think. There’s a story behind the story.

      • Dame Snarkweek says:

If Kate’s past is fair game for the gossipers then so is Harry’s. On this site, at least, Harry can do little wrong while the Cambridges can do little to make others happy.

      • bluhare says:

        Wrong spot

  9. bluhare says:

    Good promo! That’s such a great poem and so fitting for this. Tom Hardy talking about his soul . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

  10. Suze says:

Harry IS a kid so it’s not surprising that he’s good with kids.

He is also completely unselfconscious in front of the cameras. Very different from his brother and sister in law.

He needs to marry a woman who doesn’t mind mothering him and the kids, all at once.

On a related note, good luck with the play, Watercress. I think you need to get while the getting is good.

    • wolfpup says:

I don’t see him needing a mother, like William seems to. I think that he needs a friend, a co-conspirator of fun. It seems like his girlfriends are about that free-spiritedness. Here’s hoping for someone perfect!

  11. Abby_J says:

Harry obviously loves being around kids. It just shows how at ease he is with them.

Also, I just want to hijack the thread for a minute to say how much I adore Stephen Fry.

  12. wow says:

Hmm, Prince Harry’s shirt flies up, revealing his toned tummy, while playing rugby with kids and we swoon. Kate’s shirt flies up, revealing her toned tummy, while playing volleyball with kids and one would think she signaled WWIII.

    Interesting.

ETA: Just read through some of the comments. Glad others peeped the difference as well.

    • Esti says:

Yup, I had the same thought.

    • bluhare says:

Right. Because Kate not remembering that skirts can blow up when moving air hits them, and yet continues to wear no panties or a slip has everything to do with someone else who is wearing appropriate clothes for what he’s doing. See my comment re the flak Kate didn’t get when she exposed her stomach when playing volleyball. She got raves for having such a great stomach after having a baby.

  13. Steph says:

How come Harry doesn’t get as much snark as William, Kate and baby George? Serious question here.

    • ickythump says:

Cos he’s not expected to be king.

    • LAK says:

      1. He works,
      2. is appropriate when working,
      3. doesn’t look like someone forced him to work
      4. follows through on his intentions to work

      • Steph says:

See I don’t think he acts much different than his brother and Kate. I just feel that the snark is so high on this site for some royals and not others. Either the whole family is a waste of tax money or they aren’t. I think people are softer on Harry only bc of his looks and disposition. People seem to forget his prior negative publicity bc of some nice abs and a happy trail. Just my opinion. So whatever.

      • Pinky Rose says:

This so much. And everyone loves PG tips.

      • bluhare says:

Well, speaking for myself, I like Harry. If he effs up, I’ll yell about it, but when he doesn’t I don’t.

    • kay/lv says:

steph: i have never read any snark on here about baby george. if someone tried to snark a baby, i think they would get a lashing on here. from what i can tell most posters on here are civilised and would not stoop so low as snark at georgie. in fact i want to kiss his cheeks and make funny faces with him. i would offer to babysit as well.(he reminds me of my 2 boys when they were that little)

      • bluhare says:

Go read the other thread. Someone called him ugly, and last I looked he was piled on.

  14. Peri says:

I just love the fact that he’s SO DAMN INVOLVED with his patronages. It’s so refreshing to see that versus going just to shake a few hands and make small talk for an hour. (I do understand the importance of that as well though)

  15. P.J. says:

Whenever I see this beautiful man-inside and out-around children or animals it just makes my heart so happy ☺️ Prince Harry seems like a truly wonderful, exuberant, incredibly fun and kind-hearted guy.

I’m so glad that he was born into the royal family (though at times it seems the life is too restrictive for his big personality) because he brings so much desperately needed light and fun to what must be an otherwise unbearably stifling system. I really hope for the best for him in everything. He does so much for his charities, always with a huge smile on his face and has repeatedly said that that’s truly where his heart lies and I believe him ❤️

As an aside: I cannot WAIT for little Prince G to hit about 10 or 11. You just know he and what I’m sure will be his beloved uncle Harry are going to get into so much mischief together! Glad little George will have another big personality on his side 🙂

    • bluhare says:

Someone wrote a great comment about that when George was born. I wish I could remember but it was something about Uncle Harry having a hangover and George promising to pay for the damage or something like that. It was hilarious.

  16. R- says:

Every time I look at him I just see the little boy who lost his mum. Man- how PD would love who he’s grown into!

  17. The Original Mia says:

He reminds me so much of Diana.

  18. CuriousCole says:

This is how the world wants royals to behave! Despite having a full time job in the Army, organizing the Invictus Games, and having just returned from a breakneck tour of Estonia and Italy – Harry is already out spending over six hours at royal duties. And he looks like he’s enjoying it. Contrast this with Will and Kate’s brief appearance in Scotland, which was only Will’s third in a month – the different work ethics of two brothers is staggering.
