EW. Khloe Kardashian posted this ^^ photo on her Instagram very early this morning. That’s her boyfriend of three months, French Montana, with the machine gun. Dear Khloe: WHY?! Khloe is going through some big changes since she and Lamar Odom separated. All of a sudden, the lip injections got grosser and the Ass of Lies/Pinocchio Butt kept getting bigger. And she started dating this douchebag. Anyway, people are freaking out about this photo – go here to read. I just think this looks so stupid, right? Like, they’re trying to look so gangster but they just look like idiots.
I actually hoped that Khloe and French would just be a minor thing, like a month-long rebound situation following the mess with Lamar. But they really have been spending time together for months now, and it looks like a real relationship. This guy is pretty gross – he’s a shady deadbeat dad and there are widespread tabloid rumors that he’s already fooling around on Khloe. I mean, she’s a big girl so I don’t want to paint her as some innocent victim in all of this. But Jesus, she can do better than this.

It’s not illegal to have a gun. It’s idiotic, especially since he’s actually pointing it at her, but idky this is offensive.
I don’t think anyone’s saying it’s illegal. But it can be legal and still be offensive. THIS is the kind of glamorization of guns that we don’t need in the media for kids especially to see.
I guess I assumed the offense would be over something illegal. Distasteful, yes, idiotic, yes, but offensive…. Because the gun is present? That doesn’t make sense to me. I don’t own guns cuz I don’t like them, but I know plenty of people who own it for sport. So to call it offensive just because, is overboard to me.
it’s NOT offensive “just because.” as @esmom said, the glamorization of guns (and violence) in this image is offensive. so, there is a good reason why some people will find such an image offensive. (it has nothing to do with people owning guns for sport – that’s a red herring.)

Obviously, this French Mountain of Douche doesn’t know the first thing about guns. You NEVER, EVER point a gun at someone else—even if you think it’s unloaded. It’s frustrating as a gun owner to see idiots like this “playing” with guns. I have the upmost respect for firearms and the power they can wield. However, I was also properly trained by an expert shooter and have my CHL. Dumb asses like these two, who obviously know nothing about guns, are the people who influence our youth. It’s sickening.
I don’t think people are suggesting that the image is offensive because a gun is present. It is the irresponsible manner in which the gun is being handled that gets people riled up.

I always wondered why people thought she was so much better than the rest of her famewhore family. She just wasn’t considered pretty enough to be at their level. She was seen as better than her family because she was for a time. She pulled out of her reality show and refused to air her marriage issues in the show of her family. This was not done for the show and the very real hate Kim and Kris sent her way just made Khloe do everything to avoid a camera and her family.
In short she refused to do as her mother wanted and that made her better since Kris is what made that family what it is today. Awful.
Then her marriage fell apart, she was vulnerable. Kris swooped in and Khloe’s butt exploded. No going back now, but for a time she was the 1 that wasn’t fully corrupted.

She refused to air her marriage issues in the show…but her marriage was a special episode for the show! I don’t think she has acted differently than anyone else in the family.
She appealed to everyone who felt oppressed by a shinier more favored sibling but her persona was just as crafted as Kim’s. She was always interested in riding the fame train to become a has-been that never was.
I don’t have a high opinion of her, but I’d hope she could date someone useless but harmless. This guy seems like he’s actively bad news.

That was my initial reaction too. I normally wouldn’t bring someone being a mother into a discussion, since I think we use that to really clamp down on women’s personal expression, but I think safety around firearms is especially important if there are kids in the picture.

And this is NOT about the Second Amendment, or taking anyone’s guns away, but about taking something as deadly as a gun and glamorizing it. This is an automatic weapon that he may not have a license for in the state of California…you must be able to prove WHY you need such a dangerous weapon and that it will not endanger the public. Yes, people still believe the stories are true. I’m like you and never believed them. No one ever showed proof he was on crack and it was always “sources” that gave the information. And before those of you who believe he was on crack site the video of him being out of it, there are many reasons he could have been out of it, not just drugs.
If he was on as much drugs as they made it seem he would not have been able to play basketball. I know that his career tanked but a tanked NBA career is a million times better than the average basketball player.

I used to be one of those people who liked Khloe, but not anymore. It was that whole throw Lamar under the bus drama that really turned me against her. IF he had a drug problem, they should have been trying to get him help, instead they were selling their lies to tabloids in order to gain more exposure for themselves. And I recall reading a ton of rumours online that Khloe herself had a pretty big drug problem, and that cocaine was the main reason why she lost so much weight and one of the reasons why her marriage was imploding. But those rumours were pretty quickly covered up…. Khloe is just as disgusting as the rest of them. So hungry for fame that you just see the drool frothing at her mouth.

I know Khloe (typing her name kills my spelling nazi everytime) is painted as the most likable of the Kardashian Klan but over the last year she’s been the biggest attention seeker of the lot of them and that’s REALLY saying something. Everything she’s done publicly just reeks of desperation.
I used to feel sorry for Khloe. If I could say that I “liked” a Kardashian, it would have been her. No more. She’s just as bad as the rest. I don’t find this “offensive” and honestly I personally feel like anyone who is offended by this is prone to being a tad overly sensitive. Having said that, as a responsible gun owner I find it stupid and douchey. I don’t pose with any of my guns, as it would make me look like a moron. I do feel that posing with a gun AND booze is irresponsible and using a gun as an accessory is not something that needs to be promoted. However, if someone is worried about their kid seeing this and being influenced it is their job as a parent to explain why guns aren’t toys or accessories. I’m sure French has probably never even fired a gun, let alone THAT gun, and posing with that gun just makes him feel like he took a viagra.
I can’t wait to hear her “explanation” for this picture. You pose for a picture with an assault rifle (it’s not a machine gun – those are illegal) and sucking on a bottle of champers. Most people look at this and will – quite rightly – conclude that French Montana is either a bonafide thug or (more likely) a wannabe thug and Khloe is just a Grade-A dumbass. And so people wll judge them accordingly. If you don’t want to be regarded and treated as a thug and a dumbass, then don’t pose like one.
