Here are some photos of Kim Kardashian in LA yesterday, having lunch with her mom. Are we seeing Kim’s “married style” now? Now that she’s married, she’s going to be more covered-up and conservative? Because I will be sad if that’s true. One of my few pleasures in life is seeing what bizarre and unflattering “sexy” clothes Kim tries to pull off. I won’t know what to do with myself if she’s trying to do “prairie chic” or whatever this is. Amish chic?
And here’s where Kim is consistent – she really never understood how to dress her body. Ever. This dress might have looked like chic 1970s wallpaper on someone built like Keira Knightley, you know, straight up and down, slender with small boobs. But on Kim, it looks like a tent. It would look like a tent on me as well. Girls with curves learn early on not to wear this kind of excessively fabric-y dresses. These dresses make us look shorter, squatter and bulkier. Plus, Kim tried to pour herself into this piece – look how her boobs are jammed in there. Never a good look.
One more thing, and this link is kind of NSFW. Kanye West apparently gave Kim a wedding gift. That gift? A portrait of herself done by London artist Bambi – it’s a portrait of Kim naked except for a g-string, looking over her shoulder. You can see it here. It doesn’t even look like Kim.

Thanks everyone! I haven’t met him yet so I don’t know. Breeder says he’s really outgoing, playful and affectionate so I think I’ll call him Dirty Harry. Lol

@aenflex, good question. I’m all about “opt to adopt” and I have done volunteer/rescue/foster work with both dogs and cats for the past 20 years. I looked into pixie bob rescue and there has been nothing available in my area for years. I eventually came across a breeder whom I came to admire and appreciate, who’s also involved in rescue. I’ve been on her waiting list for over 2 years as she has only one small litter a year, so I’m going for it and I’m totally happy about it. 🙂

The material is too stiff or thick or too something because it doesn’t fall properly in the bottom half of the dress. It does look like a tent – stiff and taking its own shape.

I don’t get it. She has the money to get the best stylists in the world. And she’s had that body long enough to know that short, curvy girls can’t get away with that look. I love this dress and I think it looks very nice on her. She doesn’t look fat or short in it. There’s not too much fabric and that’s my favorite sleeve length. It might have been better a little earlier in the season as this would be too much on a hot day but for something different, it’s a nice change. I love the air flow in a long dress like this. Just the other day, I saw a similar print to this on a skirt a mannequin was wearing in a boutique at the mall.

I think being rich is a good thing. Too bad so many people will never experience that much power and control over their own lives.

I guess if I had to choose between this sort of look and the obscene over exposure of some of her Lycra outfits, I’d choose this. But really the point here is that Kim rarely knows how to dress in a flattering way. There has been a slight improvement with Kanye on the scene, but really you’d think at Kim’s age she would have a handle on what looks good on her.
