Sarah’s dress reminds me of why I’m terrified of clowns.

    • TheOriginalKitten says:

Personally, this dress frightens me more, but I get your point.

    • Dragonlady sakura says:

You too? Clowns freak me the hell out! I blame Stephen Kings It for messing me up for life.

      • Jaderu says:

Yup Dragonlady…. “It” reinforced my fear but my mom had these weird clown paintings by Red Skelton that used to give me nightmares.

      • Candy Love says:

OMG yes saw that movie as a kid and I’ve been freak out by them ever since.

      • lucy2 says:

It, and the clown toy from Poltergeist.
And I hear you on the creepy clown paintings. I babysat for a family who had a big, mean looking one in their basement TV room. Nothing like sitting there, and being stared at by a giant, evil clown face.

      • Dorothy#1 says:

But I still love Tim Curry!!!

      • FLORC says:

Don’t forget evil clowns from outer space or whatever that movie was called.
My very active fear of clowns comes from a sweater circus clown dropping a snake in my lap, but I empathize with those who feared the lovable Tim Curry in truly horrifying makeup.

      • M.A.F. says:

Well look at that. I’m not the only that has a fear of clowns thanks to those two movies and weird clown paintings. My uncle had two velvet clown paintings in his house when I was younger. I swear their eyes would follow you as you walked across the room.

      • PennyLane says:

Clowns scare the you-know-what out of me. The movie ‘It’ just put everything right on the table for people to see; Tim Curry’s performance was pure genius.

Also, I saw ‘Poltergeist’ in the movie theater when I was 11 and that film was terrifying! I was just thinking of it the other day because there was a big thunderstorm coming closer and closer and I could tell by counting between the lightening and when the thunder could be heard.

How did that movie get rated PG??? And how was ‘It’ a TV movie?? Will noone think of the children.

      • Nicolette says:

The Poltergeist clown did it for me. I always hated clowns but that one just got to me. As for It, I loved the book but the ending was a huge disappointment.

    • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

      Clowns are Satan’s minions.

    • Izzy says:

Clowns are SCARY. I don’t understand why more people don’t get this…

  2. Belle Epoch says:

Birthday cake? It’s creepy Iingerie for old people!

  3. nicegirl says:

I will love SJP forever. No matter what she wears!

    • Michelle says:

      Me too.

    • littlestar says:

I was coming down here to say exactly that! I adore her and wish she was my friend LOL.

    • FLORC says:

I’m not a huge fan of hers, but I like this dress. She wears great, awful, and wacky clothes. Some days I think she wakes up and says f-it. I want to be comfy today and others can say what they will.
IMO SJP got the last laugh. That dress looks awesome to wear.

    • magpie says:

I have friends in NYC who have seen her around. They say she is much prettier in person and super nice and charismatic. Everyone in NYC loves her.

  4. Belle Epoch says:

Wow – Nicole Kidman looks insane in that outfit. Flying with family calls for yoga pants and a washable sweater, not all this nonsense!

  5. Erinn says:

Wait – Dr Oz is younger than my parents. I would have pegged him a good few years older than 54.

    • Nanea says:

Maybe shilling for all those quacktastic pseudo-meds is so exhausting that it makes him look older?

      • Ag says:

on top of the guilt he (hopefully) feels for making people believe that all that pseudo-science crap is for real.

      • FLORC says:

Lots of it IS real, but the effects can often be far less than other more western meds.
He needs to be more aware of his viewers and how easily they take his suggestions to the extreme. Ugh.

    • Vic says:

More like 64 I would have guessed.

  6. Allie says:

Jimmy Fallon’s daughter is soooo cute, I want to weep.

  7. Green Is Good says:

I swear SJP goes out of her way to wear the ugliest, yet probably insanely expense couture she can find.

Woman, hire a stylist. You can afford it,

    • Shelby says:

I totally agree, I thought she was suppose to be some kind of a fashion icon, everything she wears is butt fugging ugly, I don’t get it

  8. Kim says:

Why, oh why, does Keith Urban where sooooo much makeup? He’s contoured like a Kardashian for the airport. Yikes!

  9. bella says:

    SJP can wear anything!

  10. eliza says:

Whoever said Parker is fashion forward and an style maven eeds glass.

  11. jane16 says:

Hideous dress and does look like a birthday cake. I have never liked her style or taste.

  12. Nene says:

She is the female Benedict Cumberbach(sp?).
They look so alike – weak chin, super long face and all – they could pass as siblings.

I don’t know why she is revered as a fashion icon cos many times her fashion choices are downright disappointing, this one isn’t an exception.

  13. Lahdidahbaby says:

Oh sweet Jeezus she looks like Wee Willie Winkie. The little dude who ran through the town, upstairs and downstairs in his nightgown. Only scary.

  14. magpie says:

Kudos to Jimmy Fallon for having a steller year. What he did to late night was so unexpected. He changed the game and won it, and yet seems so grounded because of longtime wife and new baby. Say what you like but dude is a legend in making.

  15. silly you says:

god, sjp is such an idiot. i can’t.

  16. Ange says:

Nope nope nopetopus. She looks like the weird hippy lady down the street who never got over being at Woodstock.

  17. Victoria says:

Who cares? She wears what she wants, get over it.
