Here are some more photos from last night’s Critics Choice TV Awards. As you can imagine, many of the “critical darling” shows won big, like Orange Is the New Black, True Detective, Fargo, etc. You can read more about the awards here. Right now we’re just talking fashion! Two TV leading ladies posed together on the red carpet, which is always nice. Diane Kruger kind of phoned it in with this Elie Saab, it’s not a bad dress but it does feel like she didn’t try at all. And Keri Russell wore this rather stunning J. Mendel gown. Keri’s look is one of my favorites from the night.
Kaley Cuoco in Amen. I like the idea of wearing smart menswear-inspired stuff to an awards show, but the execution here is off. Her hair doesn’t look as terrible here.
Allison Janney. Fabulous woman. Fierce. Amazing. Beautiful!
Lizzy Caplan in Valentino. The dress is okay but the hair!! I think Lizzy is really pretty, but she’s usually styled poorly.
Sarah Silverman in Lela Rose, with boyfriend Michael Sheen (who I love LOVE love on Masters of Sex). I will never NOT think they are a weird couple though. Her dress is meh.
Tatiana Maslany in Cushnie et Ochs. Tatiana looks different every time I see her – it’s like she has Blanchett-Face. This is a simple, pretty dress and she looks great. I like the pop of red on her feet!
Matthew McConaughey: will his face ever look normal again? But he won big again because 2014 is The Year of Alright Alright Alright. JK Livin’.

Well, the only real miss is Kaley Cuoco – WTH? She and Rutina need to get themselves to a tailor, asap.
The others are either great or fine. Keri Russell & Allison Janney look amazing!
I think Keri has never looked better and the dress is very pretty, but it makes her chest look concave and her a bit malnourished. Wish she had gone for a different, more flattering style.
Russell-GASP. Amazing. I like Diane’s dress alot, too, but the Mendel is perfection on Keri

Lizzy Caplan looks like she got dressed with her eyes closed. Same with Sarah Silverman.
Kaley Cuco looks really bad. Her outfit and hair look awful. She wins worst dressed for me hands down.
Kaley and Julianne Hough are morphing into the same person. Not a good thing for Kaley.

Most of the dresses do not flatter the wearer. Sarah’s and Tatiana’s flattered them, but the rest are all meh.
I Love Kerri’s dress.

Kerry looks good! I really like her as an actress because she does lots of different independent films.
Not crazy about the cut of Diane’s dress.
Tatiana looks cute too but I don’t like the shoes.
Tatiana’s versatile look is one thing that makes her so great on Orphan Black. God, she’s so good on that show.
MM’s face is like that because of the extreme weight loss, correct? Jake Gyllenhaal’s face hasn’t recovered from the ‘Nightstalker’ shoots either.
I love Allison Janney but wish she’d get rid of the Ariana Grande fake hair.
I’d love to see her nominated at an awards 2-3 times in one category at an awards show for “Orphan Black”. Maybe for Helena, Cosima and Alison?
It’d be well-deserved, that’s for sure. Alison has definitely become my favorite this season.
Alison was my favourite out of all of them as soon as I saw that aerobic introduction!
But what about Sarah? I think it is such a testament to Tatiana’s talent that I really love so many of the characters as individuals. Sarah, Helena, Cosmina, Allison…they are all uniquely endearing. Some actors can’t even make one character endearing!

I really like Sarah’s dress! I think she looks good. Her boyfriend looks like a doofus.
Keri and Tatiana both look phenomenal head to toe. Gorgeous, gorgeous looks. I also love Lizzy’s dress, but the look is totally ruined by the hair. And Allison Janney is just a flawless human being. Happy to see so many great actresses there!
Since Matthew McHisFace won the Oscar he’s got an insufferable smugginess on his face.

I think he is “baked” both literally and figuratively. His face looks like he left it in the oven too long and it is overdone.
Allison Janney= Awesome. I really love her in everything she does.
I really like the dresses Allison, Keri, and Tatiana wore. And all 3 are so great on their shows.
Still love Matthew it’s not only weight loss but I think he spends a great deal or use to time in the sun. WHAT did Kaley do to her hair makes her face seem really wide/round. Alison looks great and Keri looks very pretty I like the dress.
Allison Janney is a home run in that dress. The Valentino dress itself is gorgeous, but the utter lack of styling on Lizzie Caplan is disastrous. She looks as if she changed from her sweats into that dress. The rest – meh. I still can’t wrap my head around Sarah Silverman and Michael Sheen.
Keri Russell looks the best. Poor Kelly aged herself with that entire look. Maybe he’s a good actor, but MM still gives me a raging case of the skeeves. *Shivers* from skin crawling.
Why is Kaley’s husband always on the red carpet? He needs to learn his place. It seems like she’s always pulling him onto the red carpet with her to make him feel less emasuclated by her sucess.
I like the idea of Keri’s dress but I think something is off with the tailoring.
Matthew Mc’s head looks massive – like it was shopped onto a photo of a smaller body. Very odd and cartoon-like.
