Tom Hardy poses in London with an Ewok-looking dog: the best thing ever?

It’s nice to just take a moment for Tom Hardy and a dog. These photos are from Friday, where Tom was still filming Legend (the Kray Brothers bio-pic/gangster film) in London. I don’t think this Ewok-looking dog was part of the production, nor do I think Ewok belongs to Tom. I think Ewok was a fan’s dog, and when Tom went over to the crowd of fans, he picked up Ewok and posed for some photos. At first, Ewok was into it (who wouldn’t be into it if Tom Hardy picked you up and started nuzzling you?!) and then Ewok was like, “Yeah, but seriously, where’s my mom?” Sorry, Ewok. Your mom is too busy taking a selfie with Tom Hardy’s crotch. You were just the distraction she needed. Back to the pound!

Obviously, thinking about Tom Hardy holding puppies reminds everybody of Tom with the pit-bull puppy last year. Tom and Noomi Rapace were filming The Drop and there were so many great photos of that pit puppy who just seemed to adore Tom Hardy. I would adore Tom too if he let me lick and bite his face. WHY DOES THE DOG GET TO AND I DON’T? A month ago or so, the trailer for The Drop was released and there’s not nearly enough puppy in it. Here you go:

And in case you needed MOAR PUPPY, they released this clip this week where the dog steals the scene.

Original Kitten–I’m not QUITE to the point of fighting you for Tom (because I still have my man Liam), but good Lord. Tom Hardy is so damn fine, it doesn’t even make sense. Unf. Gorgeous. And no matter what, he is always gorgeous to me–even after I saw The Take, where he was so damn skeevy. I’ll never forget that scene in the series, at his (secret) son’s birthday party, where he goes up to Charlotte Riley (while he’s holding their son) and says to her ‘He’s got my eyes, yeah–shouldn’t we make another one soon?’…so. damn. creepy.

I’ll never forget Bronson though–I had NO idea what it was about, just knew that he was in it. I ended up laying in bed and laughing my butt off during the entire movie.

Lastly–Tom with a puppy is adorable. ALWAYS.

Yes, Virgilia…there is a Tom Hardy! Alas for the rest of you, he is mine. But seriously..the first time I saw him was in The Take. That was astonishing work- they were all amazing-he was another level, though. He made me love Freddie-which is almost unthinkable, but true. I am so excited for the new film. I haven’t watched Bronson yet…I’m a bit squeamish on brutality. Was it very violent?

      • Gea says:

I just saw last night movie Locke…the movie was well done, he is almost brilliant . Well he is ….portating complex character with such a easy force that looks so natural to him. Bravo Tom Hardy!

      • Virgilia Coriolanus says:

It’s not as violent as you think it would be. There are a few graphic fight scenes, a lot of cursing (A LOT)–but there’s bonus Tom fighting naked! But it was a REALLY good movie. It completely gripped me from start to finish–which is high praise from me, because if I start getting bored with a movie, I start skipping. But it was mainly just freaking hilarious.

And yes–he was so sloppy and smarmy in The Take….but still so hot. Ugh. I was so disgusted by him in that movie. And I was very surprised at how good Charlotte Riley was. I wish she would get more mainstream stuff (maybe she doesn’t care??)–I’ve only seen her in The Take and Wuthering Heights.

        @Gea
I LOVED Locke. I mean, I look at it with the perspective of someone whose father (ahem, sperm donor) was in the same situation. He lied to my mom about being married with kids when I was born. And he left and completely denied that I was his. And to see a film like LOCKE, where you see a man who isn’t perfect, who’s maybe too wrapped up in his work, has a perfect life, and something as small as a baby could ‘ruin’ his life (and as far as we know it has)–and he takes complete responsibility for it.

For his infidelity and for his child. I love it. I wish more men were like Ivan Locke. And I love how Tom seemed like he was sick in that movie. He was constantly wiping his eyes, his nose was stuffed–he looked like he was so nervous about *everything* that he was going to be physically ill at any moment.

      • Innie Outie says:

@Virgilia Coriolanus, I thought Tom’s character *was* sick in Locke! He was blowing his nose and taking some meds, I thought he had a cold which only added to this whole feeling that it was so much not his night lol. And I loved the film so SO much for all the reasons you stated.

I fell in love with Tom Hardy while watching Lawless, and I’ve been borderline obsessed ever since. He’s so gorgeous.

  3. Sixer says:

I’m torn. Like dogs. But are ankle biter things like that PROPER dogs? Oh, sod it. It’s the Bloke. I might even accept an ankle biter if the Bloke is part of the deal.

  4. Jude says:

    “Back to the pound!” Lol.

      Siiiiiiiigh…

Thanks for posting these!!!!! I could look at that hot hunk of man with dogs all day!

  5. Ellie66 says:

It’s a Brussels Griffon the same kind as in the Jack Nicholsons film As Good As It Gets. (Just saw it last night) he is a handsome guy but what does for me is hiis lips man has awesome kissable lips! 😀 Tom not the dog.

    • Camille (The Original) says:

I was just about to say that dog is a Griffon, but you beat me to it ;). They also come in a smooth coated variety and are ugly cute hehe.

    • Woof says:

I LOVE the Brussels Griffon. They have a lot of personality and I think their face it totally adorable. And, yes, George Lucas was inspired by the dog.

    • Petrichor says:

Ditto on the Griffon. I have one (pug x) that’s a sandy colour with the dark ears. They do look like Ewoks, and are definitely ugly-cute. My Captain’s personality makes him cute-cute, though! This one looks like Grumpy Puppy. Mine’s more Happy Cappy. 🙂

    ::: gazes adoringly :::

  7. Sea Dragon says:

The dog reminds me of Oscar the Grouch.

  8. Leaflet says:

Tom looks like he could use a nap and a facial. Not really into dogs. Can someone tell me if Tom is wearing a little foundation?

  9. weetiger3 says:

People need to stop handing him dogs. They’re going to break the internet.

  10. The Original Mia says:

Heh. I thought it looked like a little Wookie. So cute. Both of them.

  11. Stephanie says:

    He’s so gorgeous!

  12. Welldun says:

    James Gandolfini’s in there too!

  13. mayamae says:

I’ve never paid a lot of attention to Tom, but the link to him with the pitbull puppy kills me. I have an American Staffordshire Terrier (similar to a pitbull) and I just adore the breed. Every celebrity who helps get past the ridiculous stigma of bloodthirsty pits is a good guy in my eyes. My only complaint – pits get cold very easily. I’d never put clothes on a dog before, but I lived in the Chicagoland area and my poor dog would shiver when the temp dropped below 70 degrees. We live in Georgia now, and she still wears a pink hoodie when it gets chilly.

the ewok is a Brussels Griffin.

  15. Ginger says:

A selfie with Tom Hardy’s crotch! You gave me away Kaiser…I was laughing so hard now my husband is asking me what I’m reading on my laptop! ummmmmm…

  16. Caz says:

    That’s not an ewok…that’s a baby wookie!

  17. Innie Outie says:

    LOLing at Ewok, good catch!

Tom is adorable, I am going through his filmography ATM, so much good stuff. *whispers* My only tiny wish is that he does something with his teeth….

  18. nattym says:

Yep I’m the Ewok’s human AND I GOT TO KISS TOM so I was very happy indeed 😉 Oh and darling Tolly had fun too y’know!
