Chris Pratt sang & threw a bad pitch at the Cubs game: still adorable?

Chris Pratt is everywhere. Forbes declared him the winner of 2014 and predicts his career longevity outside the Guardians franchise. I think they’re correct. He’s got Jurassic World coming out next summer plus a Lego Movie sequel in his future. A Guardians follow-up is a done deal. Pratt Pratt Pratt. (It’s like Candyman. Say it three times, and he’ll appear and French braid your hair.)

Chris is still hard at work on Parks & Rec. The show is filming in Chicago this week, so he stopped by the Cubs game to sing “Take Me Out to the Ballgame.” He’s not the greatest singer in the world, but no one sounds good singing this song.

Then he threw the first pitch, and it wasn’t pretty.

Even though the pitch wasn’t even close to the plate, Chris still looked adorable. Some may say this is a planned strategy to avoid looking perfect. Pratt can’t do everything, you know! This only makes him more appealing. Try harder took bad next time, Pratt.

Adorable. He is adorable. Period. He should just change his last name to Adorable-Pratt already. So happy for him and he seems grateful and having lots of fun.

I admire a man that can do rousing karaoke, stone-cold sober, in front of millions of people.

I’ve always thought it would be torture to throw out the first pitch in a ball game in front of all those professionals and spectators. I don’t know why anyone would do it.

Maybe he really can’t throw a baseball pitch. Not many people can. I would love it if I could say Pratt Pratt Pratt and he would pop up to show me how to french braid my daughter’s hair well.
Oh and he will always be adorable.
