Ariana Grande was a full-on unhinged diva during her visit to Australia

wenn21657501

Ariana Grande appeared on the Stand Up to Cancer event on Friday night. She performed, and her performance was probably free. A charitable gig is always nice, especially for one of the newest pop princesses in America. It should have been all positive – a young woman donating her time for a good cause. Unfortunately, reports emerged that Ariana had been a “total nightmare” to deal with backstage at the event. Sources claimed she “demanded to be shot only on her left side” and “shouted at crew members for staring at her.” Where have we heard that before? Oh right. It’s becoming this girl’s M.O. Anyway, one of the producers of the charity event was sent out to deny the story, saying:

“Ariana was wonderful to work with, very gracious and a consummate professional to our team and everyone at the Stand Up to Cancer telecast… Her moving performance of ‘My Everything,’ which she sang in honor of her grandfather who passed away from cancer, was one of the most emotional moments of the night. We were honored to have her join us.”

[From E! New]

So, all better? Not so much. Ariana then headed out to Australia to do some promotional work for her album. Except guess what? Ariana threw a diva fit and now Aussie reporters are like “What is wrong with this girl?”

POCKET rocket popette Ariana Grande has an extra-large list of diva demands for her Australian chatfest. And most of them are don’ts rather than dos, resulting in the abrupt cancellation of Grande’s photo shoots today. All media who were granted an audience with the 21-year-old singer were instructed to steer clear of delicate topics during her promotional visit this week.

DON’T ask questions about:

(1) Relationships/Dating/Ex-boyfriends
(2) Mariah Carey
(3) Sam & Cat/Jennette McCurdy
(4) Working/collaborating with Justin Bieber
(5) Her grandfather passing away

Photographers were also given last-minute instructions from the Problem star’s minders.
*DON’T use natural light.
*DO shoot only from the left side of her face.

Grande’s first sitting for mX newspaper was a stop-start affair, with the singer checking each frame after it was taken and asking for shots she wasn’t pleased with to be deleted. After a few minutes she left the hotel suite, complaining to her reps that she was unhappy with how her top looked in the poses. Everyone assumed she had just gone back to her room at The Darling Hotel to change her outfit.

The remaining photographers waiting to capture the Bang Bang pop star’s close-up had already been put through their paces by the entertainer’s creative directors. Grande insists on being shot from the left and if you have lights, use those instead of the sunlight streaming in through the window on the gorgeous Sydney spring afternoon. After another 20 minutes of waiting for Grande to switch outfits, one of her representatives returned, demanding the mX photographer delete all his photos.

He refused and was later approached at his car by a member of the singer’s security team who attempted to prevent him closing the tailgate on his car as he stowed his equipment.

The singer then ditched the rest of the happy snaps session for various newspaper outlets including News Corp Australia.

[From News.com.au]

THIS IS INSANE. This is not the way to behave around members of the media. They aren’t behind-the-scenes producers being paid to keep a melodramatic pop star happy. Members of the media will actually report on your diva antics, especially when some paid henchman follows a photographer out to his car to try to physically remove unflattering photos. What the hell?!?!

PS… Thanks to all the tipsters who tweeted me about this!

    Twit.

    • Snazzy says:

Is the club ready to attack??

    • Lady Macbeth says:

      @GoodNames

      Agree.

And why only shots of her left part of his face… Is she like Two Faces in Batman.. the other we don’t see is monstrous maybe…

      • MG says:

That’s what I was wondering?!? What the hell is so wrong with the right side of her face? Looks the same to me.

      • lower-case deb says:

i wonder too. of all the weird tics in the world.

      • Mia V. says:

But in the cover for her album isn’t she showing her RIGHT side?

      • Jenni says:

i’m beginning to think its a skin issue on her right side (i read somewhere she has bad skin), because her nose is tiny and looks the same from both angles.

      • Dani Lakes DDS says:

I’m thinking maybe she only has a dimple on the left side? Maybe?

      • Name du Jour says:

        I wonder if it’s a superstition.

      • SK says:

That’s it! I just looked at old photos of her and she only has the dimple on one side. I’m guessing she’s been Ts that’s her best side and coupled with her clear insecurities about her appearance, that has made her obsessed with being shot on the dime side of her face.

I think her album cover is a flipped image too.

So she performed a medley of 3 songs on the X Factor Australia last night. She was really good! The sexier dance moves were extremely awkward, she should just avoid those; but otherwise her performance was great. She did sing everything with her head turned to show just the left side if her face. It looks uncomfortable. She’s going to end up with some serious neck issues if she keeps that up!

Also, the little onstage interview at the end was incredibly bland and awkward. She had no personality and very clearly no confidence. She was clearly very insecure and I just felt sorry for her. She was barely listening to the interviewer, she just kept turning her head further to the side and stroking her hair forward to cover her face as much as possible. She seemed uncertain and extremely insecure about her face.

      • Stephanie says:

I thought the exact same thing!

      • lukie says:

I think the left side obsession is because she only has one dimple and it is on the left side.

      • melissa says:

Mariah Carey only wants to be photographed on one side, too. I think she’s SWFing.

      • Wren says:

Absolutely nothing. I saw a pic of her right side on another website and it looked…… completely normal. I didn’t even notice that she only has a dimple on one side and I probably never would if she hadn’t made it a thing.

    • doofus says:

seriously. if you alienate the people who take pics of you, you’re going to wind up with a WHOLE LOTTA unflattering pics of you hitting the interwebs.

and all from the right side.

      • V says:

She had pimples break out on side. Natural sunlight highlights those flaws even more. What young woman doesn’t try to hide pimples when they pop up? Let alone for a photo shoot.

  2. LaurieH says:

She’s a 21 year-old pop tart from Boca Raton who has been catapulted into vast fame and fortune before the cortex of her brain has fully formed in an age of cheap celebrity and entitlement. So we’re surprised….how?

    • Smoky says:

This! Between this one and the Biebs I can hardly stand it. And Billy Cyrus needs to take a switch to that little floozy Miley too. Just take these three brats and bury them!

    • word says:

She grew up rich, so I don’t think money is making her crazy. She is obsessed with her image and doesn’t want any bad pics of her out there. Beyonce is similar, but Beyonce hires her own photographer and releases only pics she wants people to see. Maybe Ariana should do the same. It’s weird because you can easily google Ariana and see how different she looked just 3 or 4 years ago. So why is she so paranoid?

      • Eleonor says:

Beyonce is a big Diva, but she is professional.
I don’t remember (so maybe I’m wrong) hearing stuff like this when Britney and Christina were young.

      • word says:

I agree, Beyonce is very professional. I just think if Ariana wants to control her image, she should hire a photographer like Beyonce did. It’s better than demanding that people delete pics she doesn’t like.

    • Esmom says:

That, but I also gotta believe she’s also not surrounded by the best influences. I don’t think you can develop an attitude like that in a vacuum, someone is likely fueling it.

      • Tila says:

Well Scooter Braun is her manager, and given his “work” with Justin, it shouldn’t come as any surprise that he’s managing another brat

    • Kay says:

Yeah…but I always think about the Harry Potter kids. They were all ten times as famous as this broad at a far younger age and they all seem to have their heads on straight. I’ve heard some things about Emma Watson possibly being diva-ish, but not to an excessive level.

    • Kosmos says:

Yes. Okay, world–get ready for another self-centered, insecure diva pop star. Not looking forward to this. It’s too bad some of them have less than sweet personalities to go along with their performance skills. Judging by what I have read here, I probably won’t become a fan of hers.

    • gwen says:

So Agree that poor Ariana is over her head. Someone is pushing her out of her comfort zone. Just look at the VMA’s and you will see a uncomfortable and awkward performance. Made me cringe, and her voice did not make up for anything.

  3. Tracy says:

I didn’t even know this little twit’s name a month ago and I am already sick of her.

    • Steph says:

      +1
She better be careful or else she’s gonna get a “GIRL BYE!” with an eye roll

    • St says:

Yep. I didn’t knew or care who she was some 2 months ago. And now she is everywhere.

    • Sacred And Profane says:

I was exactly the same a month ago, Tracy. I kept seeing her name, but had no idea if she was a child prodigy, an actress, doctor, weight-loss guru….

She performed “live” (?) at Martin Place in Sydney this morning, for the morning magazine programme, “Sunrise”. After her performance the two hosts interviewed her. She seemed uncomfortable, even as fawning as they were. They were sitting on her left side, so we did see the right side of her face for a while. She had her own microphone and was asked a question. When she answered, and the cameras were on her, she turned her face away from them so all we saw was her left side. It looked like she was talking to………nobody. It did look extremely awkward. I had to get to work so turned off the telly at that point.

I love mX magazine. it’s a staple for train travellers boarding in the city. It’s either free or one donates, and they have great stuff in there – makes a long journey so very pleasant. It wouldn’t be at all surprising if she and her people cop a serve in mX’s next issue. Aussies don’t like such diva antics AT ALL, and we’ll take the piss at the very least, if you take yourself so seriously or try to lord it over us.

  4. AuroraO says:

She wants to be Mariah sooooo bad.

    • lunchcoma says:

The thing is, Mariah didn’t behave like the Mariah of today at that stage of her career. She married strategically, toed the line for her husband, and let the diva flag fly after she was an established performer who’d proven that she had talent and wasn’t just a flash in the pan. That’s not a set of choices I particularly approve of, either, but it’s a feasible set of choices. Ariana’s decision to be high maintenance so early in her career does not seem so feasible.

      • Bob Loblaw says:

Mariah has some serious pipes that make her a legit diva, does this pop tart have a voice?

      • Grant says:

She absolutely does Bob. Ariana may be spoiled, and she may have an enunciation problem, but she really has a spectacular voice, better than almost all of her peers on the charts right now I would say.

      • lunchcoma says:

I’d say that Ariana has a solid voice. What I don’t think she’s proven is that she has longevity or that she has the flexibility to remain popular as she ages and as musical trends change – there’s talent there, but there’s more to being enough of a mainstay in the music business than just talent.

      • Bridget says:

She has a nice voice, but it lacks the extra something special that a Mariah or Whitney had. And she benefits from the fact rhat most of the top women in pop today have pretty weak voices.

  5. kri says:

If this is true…here we go with another maniac courtesy of Child Starz R Us. God, what do these kids go through?! Biebs, Ariana et.al are now grown-ups, and therefore responsible for their behavior, but what in the HELL happened to get them to this point? What were their parents thinking?!?! Insanity.

  6. Rena says:

She’s had so much work done! Google “Ariana Grande before and after”. Nothing wrong with a nose job or something, but she’s on Kim Kardashian level with the plastic surgery. So sad and insecure.

    • Erinn says:

I’d feel bad if she didn’t seem like a raging jerk.

    • xenia says:

I can’t tell what it is but she looks very different now…not in a good way. Hate the stupid look on her face.

    • Samtha says:

It just looks like weight loss and a nose job to me.

    • Ashley says:

Definitely looks like a nose job or really good contouring. Her extensions and a hundred pounds of makeup doesn’t help her.

    • crab says:

Her eyebrows weren’t goofy looking then like they are now! She always looks like she’s on the verge of crying!

    • Grant says:

She’s nowhere near Kim Kardashian level. That would require looking like a cat-human hybrid.

    • Amy says:

Her nose is exactly as it was in 2009, no difference whatsoever, she just has a bit more definition with a bit of contour. Plus, when she was on victorious in 2010 she was 17 and she is now 21, she is growing up and therefore her face has changed, plus she has lost lots of weight(probably a good 20 lbs) that can really change a persons face.

  7. aims says:

I suspect that if her bullsh*t continues her career will be short lived. That’s crazy and from here on out the press should always photograph her right side just to piss her off.

    • Bridget says:

She’s really benefitted from a slow music summer. She’s has a nice voice but it’s not transcendent like a Mariah, Christina, or Whitney – rather, its on par with the best singers from Glee. But no stage presence at all, and with that attitude, it’s not a recipe for lasting success.

  8. GirlyGirl says:

Hardly surprising, these kiddy-tv-show-turned-pop-singer types all seem to be entitled weirdos.

  9. Side-Eye says:

Well she looks five so not that surprised she acts it

  10. Josefa says:

I actually think her list of questions not to ask is rather reasonable.

Sigh. I really wanted to like her.

    • Bridget says:

She’s a new artist, she hasnt yet earned the right to dictate the terms of her press.

      • tim says:

        Every artist has similar requirements.

      • Bridget says:

New artists definitely do not get to do that. They are not in any position to dictate the terms of an interview – it is their job and their prerogative to get as many pepple as possible to tune in. An Adriana Grande needs the radio station way more than they need her (whereas a Beyonce is a ‘get’ and can do/say whatever she wants) but she’s got a little extra leverage being with Scooter Braun.

    • J says:

Asking them not to ask about her grandfather’s passing is reasonable, but the rest are crazy entitled – Cat and Sam is like half the reason she’s famous, and why shouldn’t they ask about her professional collaborations with Bieber?

    • Bob Loblaw says:

I’m curious why you think she should have questions or topics “off the table”? She’s an up and coming singer, she should not bother with these type of antics, she needs to have a professional relationship with the media, not a an adversarial one. It’s very easy to deflect any question with, “no comment” and it is an accepted answer by the media. Playing diva games is bad for her image and reputation and pissing off the media, even down under, is just plain stupid.

      • Lex says:

Nahh that’s standard practice. There are always questions not allowed to be asked to pop stars or actors. When it’s teamed up with the other demands it looks over the top but that alone isn’t so cray

    • lunchcoma says:

Really? I think it’s plenty reasonable for her not to want to talk about an extended family member’s death, since it’s not that relevant and might cause her to become emotional in ways that would interfere with her promotional work. I might even understand if she didn’t want to answer questions about her personal life.

But she’s there to promote an album. It’s entirely reasonable for her to be asked about the show that launched her career or about someone she’s worked with recently. The fact that she even included the Mariah Carey question on the list came off as both arrogant and clueless – she could have done so much to dispel the diva rumors by taking that question and making a joke about it.

      • Josefa says:

I’m not saying it’s not diva’ish or dumb of her to establish such conditions. I just can understand why she wouldn’t want to talk about those topics.

        1. Does anyone enjoy talking about their exes?
        2. Most people get annoyed by the fact she’s put in the same sentence as Mariah, so why can’t her?
        3. The show may have launched her success, but she’d probably be rather remembered for what she’s done musically.
        4. Ew, Biebs.
        5. Well this one’s obvious.

Sure, she’d be smarter to just answer these questions briefly. I just understand her frustrations.

      • jwoolman says:

Sam and Cat didn’t launch her career. She was chosen for the show because, like her co-star, she had an established fan base from her previous tv show and her singing. Nickelodeon was just trying to squeeze more cash out of the Victorious/iCarly shows’ popularity, hence the spinoff with two popular characters from those shows. My guess is that Sam and Cat actually slowed down the careers of both, trapping them in type-casting land with two unpleasant characters. The show was cancelled even though inexplicably popular, so probably nobody is supposed to talk about it at the moment.

  11. grimsfairytale says:

    The New Mimi? Ha.
Girl is troubled. Or deluded. Or mega spoiled. Probably all of the above.
Does anyone know WHY she demands her left side only?

  12. Penelope says:

I don’t get this “only shoot the left side of my face” thing. Diva or not, she’s beautiful from both sides.

    • Monksolo says:

one of the leaked photos floating around (if it is her) show cuts on the right leg, like she’s a cutter or something. in the outfit above, you’d be able to see it from the right.

      • Wren says:

If that’s true then I’d expect her to wear different outfits that covered her legs more, not simply rely on contorting her body so nobody sees. Tight pants or opaque tights at the very least.

  13. Mischa Jane says:

She seems to have some major issues with her appearance. I’m embarrassed for her that she is so open with her insecurities, asking to have unflattering pics deleted and such. Not a good look.

She has So. Much. Hair. I don’t know how her tiny neck is able to support all that hair!

    • Mauibound says:

Once the weight from all those extensions damage her hair, I’m curious to see what it looks like

  14. Loopy says:

Not that there should ever be any excuse for diva behaviour, but for goodness sake at least ‘earn’ it first.

  15. Shelley says:

Must see photos of the right side of her face! What a nut job.

  16. Izzy says:

Will this trick just go away already?

  17. Marianne says:

I wouldnt be surprised if her management team are partly to blame for her attitude and insecurities. From what I’ve heard, she was fairly decent when she was basically some supporting actress on a Nick show. Probably once her pop career started taking off, her team or someone on her team probably started telling her what was her flattering angle and what not. Having things pointed out to you constantly like that is what probably makes her a little paranoid about getting only the best shot of her out there and what not.

    • Bob Loblaw says:

It is completely understandable that she wants creative control over her images but she needs to go about it in a better way.

  18. Elyse says:

She’s starting to come off as the nickelodeon version of Vanessa Hudgens. Sweet, innocent well rounded girl who had some promise and seemed like a great role model for young girls. Then she turned out to be the exact opposite. Though Ariana hasn’t taken any nude photos yet and she does have a really good, natural voice. So who knows she might make it.

    • Marianne says:

Well, Ariana was included in the icloud nude photos leak (yes that same one that got Jennifer Lawrence). Ariana claims they’re fake though.

    • Charlie says:

How did Vanessa turned out to be the opposite? And why are her nude leaks different from JLaw’s?

    • Tiffany :) says:

The existence of Vanessa Hudgens nude photos does NOT mean that she isn’t a sweet person. A person taking photos of their own body doesn’t mean they have flawed morals or character issues, or that they no longer have “promise”.

      • HoolooPie says:

No, it doesn’t, but it certainly doesn’t jibe well with the image they put out there as such, to the point that a significant part of their fanbase believes the wholesome act.

    • Bob Loblaw says:

What a ridiculous suggestion! You’re saying that if a woman is nude in a photo she is no longer sweet or innocent, she is “the exact opposite.” What about children? That is some seriously screwed up thinking about women and nudity. How do you feel about the creeps that stole those nude photos without her permission? They’re okay in your book but she’s the whore of Babylon?

  19. Dancinnancy says:

Lucy Hale is doing a great job of slowly building a music career after the teen show bit.

I’m officially refusing to click on anymore Arianna articles. Just as I avoided that Woody Allen one below. I am no longer capable of saying anything nice about her.

  20. Tiffany27 says:

Is there a reason she only wants the left side photographed? Is the right going to turn us to stone?

  21. Samtha says:

Anyone who’s watched her brother on Big Brother shouldn’t be surprised that she’s an entitled twit. This sounds like the same attitude he has.

  22. georgie says:

I’d never heard of her til this summer. Tired of these Disney/Nickelodeon kid show actors becoming instant pop “stars” thanks to the machinery behind them. Not to mention the shows that are raising up these child entertainers are infested at the very top with pedophiles. (Google Dan Schneider, for one.) Shame on any parent who puts their kids in these environments for the promise of fame & fortune.

    • Bob Loblaw says:

That is a very serious and unfair allegation to level across the board at everyone in the business. On top of which, there is no industry safe from perverts, as we all know, not to mention a well known religious institution pretty much already cornered the market on institutionalized pedophilia.

  23. G says:

Oh good Lord! Victoria Justice please come get yer girl.

    • crazymary says:

Oh no. That won’t happen! They hate each other… At least that’s what I’ve read. Same thing with “Sam” from that Sam & Cat show. Nothing but fighting behind the scenes with this Grande chick. It will be really interesting to see what happens to this chick. She’s a hot mess.

      • word says:

Ariana, I believe, stated she was bullied by Victoria on the show. They don’t like each other, but I don’t know what to believe and who is really at fault. Same with the Sam and Cat show. Ariana and Janette were really close until Janette complained that Ariana was getting paid more than her. The show was cancelled and Janette and Ariana are no longer friends.

  24. Lizzie says:

Well all she’s done is created a morbid curiosity in me about what the right side of her face looks like…

    • Gypsy says:

You want to see the right side of her face….Go to her Instagram page, lots of right side photos, and also look at the photo on her recent album.
      instagram.com/arianagrande

I got curious because of all this talk about her “sides” and went to her instagram page before I said my usual stupid stuff.

      • Charlie says:

But is that really her right side photographed or is the photo simply reversed?

      • Dash says:

I imagine that’s ok with her because the photos have been retouched. However media photographers aren’t going to airbrush your photos. I really want to know what is wrong with her face.

    • Tiffany :) says:

I can’t stop thinking about what it would take to get her to turn her head the wrong way! Like , “Look! It’s __________ naked!”

Whose name could be used that would get her to turn her head?

  25. LAK says:

It’s alittle extreme to throw tantrums over being photographed from angles that aren’t left.

  26. putchka says:

I’m 57. Have a lot of experience, know right from wrong. Thank God, did not have “celebrities” sticking their over sized a$$es in my face while growing up. These kids grow up seeing famous trash on TV, internet, etc… No emphasis on education, reading, charity, volunteerism et al. It’s called well rounded. Looks & money is what they deem important. They will learn too late.

    • Bob Loblaw says:

To be fair, parents are a big part of this, my parents did not let me watch TV, did not let me run around on the weekends, made me do homework and chores, set ground rules and consequences for behavior, told me their expectations of me getting through college and working. Children don’t magically become well adjusted, functional adults, it takes actual parenting and effort.

  27. girl using brain says:

Shouldn’t we only be posting pics from her RIGHT SIDE from now on?

  28. Gypsy says:

I don’t believe it, it’s just like the “Great big scandal at the Stand up to Cancer Concert”, the producer had to come out and tell us that the Tabloid:Star was lying.
This is another fake scandal to fool the gullible.

    • Dash says:

Considering two rival Australian newspapers published very similar stories on the same day, and they basically have no interest in Ariana, I would say this is definitely true.

  29. drea says:

What’s wrong with the right side of her face? Honestly, I can’t tell (but I’m not going to spend more than 2 minutes looking).

I wonder if she made those same demands with the NFL when she sang the national anthem. They probably would’ve just looked at her like she was insane.

  30. InVain says:

I wish her hair would become unhinged. I seriously can’t with that hair. Also, there is NOTHING about this girl’s personality that is attractive. The cutesy, little girl shtick is slightly perverted and I’m not fooled by it at all.

  31. Isabelle says:

After seeing her brother on Big Brother, not surprised she’s a diva. He’s a diva & talks about how their family has always had servants ect….Wanted one the HGs to be treated like a servant, he’s awful & she is part of the same family. She’s dumb is she keeps it up, she is replaceable because she’s a pop singer only & is disposable in the long-term music world.

  32. K says:

This parent (who sounds very, very grounded, IMO) has an interesting take on her as fame hit: http://primalscreaming.wordpress.com/2014/08/26/meeting-ariana-grande-then-and-now/

    • solanaceae (Nighty) says:

Wow, that was really, really bad on Ariana’s side… She was /still is a plain idiot… Would have never guessed Britney was so nice as well as Ryan Ochoa… 🙂

  33. A VERY special snowflake* says:

I have no trouble believing the parts about her being controlling about the way she’ s photographed or the list of things she won’t talk about in interviews (I actually think some of those are reasonable topics for her to want to steer clear of, considering the nasty things said on other sites related to some of those subjects), but I’m not sure if I believe that she was actually mean to anyone. The “She’s a horrible diva bitch!” rumor is one of the three rumors that gets spread about every successful female celebrity as part of the inevitable backlash against them. And the tabloids that it came from have a bad reputation. When it’s true, it comes out, so I will be watching her, but I give everybody the benefit of the doubt until I see something.

  34. Steph says:

Photographers and the paps should only shoot the right side of her face in the future.

She is WEIRD. Like creepy weird. I don’t think she has personality. You know what? She reminds me Britney when I hear her in interview or on stage. She is like robot, saying all those right words that her pr team taught her.

I really don’t see any personality in her. Waiting till her 15 minutes of fame will be up and she will vanish.

I don’t know if I’ve ever heard one of her songs, but not interested either. She sounds spoiled and diva… And she should just cut her hair, she’s not tall and that hair so long makes her look like a kid… Her body looks like the body of a 12-year-old girl… She looks weird…

  37. Suzanne says:

WHO IS THIS LITTLE TWIT ANYWAY? SHE’S ON EVERY THING I WATCH LATELY…I COULDN’T UNDERSTAND ONE SINGLE WORD SHE SANG WHEN SHE APPEARED ON AMERICA’S GOT TALENT LAST WEEK.

  38. NEENAZEE says:

What’s wrong with the right side of her face??

  39. Publicity says:

She’s a skinny little kid with a chipmunky voice who got noticed in the age of viral (not necessarily great) songs.

  40. Dolly says:

She should wear a Phantom of the Opera mask.

I wonder if she’s having a lot of difficulty with her grandfather’s death? Was he ill for a period before that also? The change in her seems relatively recent. People mourn (and pre-mourn when the loved one is terminal) in very strange ways sometimes. In that reference to an article by a parent whose kid seems to have met an amazing number of celebrities (!), one comment pointed out that she left suddenly when the kid gave her a picture of her (Ariana) and her grandfather. And his death is on the don’t list for interviews. She may be more numb than diva, along with bad advice from a manager or others.
