Yes, we’re still hearing about the girl feud between Katy Perry and Taylor Swift. For the record… Swifty started it. This could have been a quiet, undercover beef between two professionals in the music biz. But Taylor had to offer up a bitchy blind item in her Rolling Stone interview, plus Taylor wrote a song about how much she hates Katy. It’s all about dancers and John Mayer and middle school dramz. Last we heard, Katy was already cutting all ties with Swifty. The problem? Swifty and Perry run in many of the same circles and they have many friends and acquaintances in common. Like Harry Styles!!! OMG MIDDLE SCHOOL. Let’s fight over the boy with the good hair!
The war between frenemies Katy Perry and Taylor Swift is only getting worse after Katy’s flirty outing with Taylor’s ex, Harry Style!
“Katy had her hand on his arm and was playing with her hair – she was being really obvious,” recounts one witness who saw Katy and Harry having a cozy dinner at Malibu hotspot Nobu in mid-September.
But Taylor says that her nemesis is motivated by spite – not lust.
“Taylor thinks Katy orchestrated this whole thing just to mess with her,” says a source close to Taylor. “It makes her blood boil that Katy has this sweet-as-pie image when she’s one of the most conniving girls in Hollywood. Taylor calls her ‘the evil one’ – that’s how much she hates her.”

To be fair, if you were having dinner with Harry Styles, you would play with his hair too. His hair is amazing. As for Taylor hating Katy’s “sweet-as-pie image”… um, projection much? Taylor’s the one with the sweet-as-pie image, an image that covers her childish antics and stalker tendencies. Katy’s image is… ?? I don’t know, but it’s not sweet as pie. I always associate her with being not-too-bright and cupcake boobs. Oh, and if Taylor’s worst insult is calling Katy “The Evil One,” Swifty really needs to up her game. Taylor should totally “pants” Katy in the cafeteria!

I can definitely believe Taylor being pissed that Harry and Katy are friends. If this is all true, I’m starting to kind of like Katy. It’d be fun to see Taylor battling someone who is not afraid to call her out on her shit.
Just yesterday my middle school kid told me her classmates were talking about getting someone’s brother to “like” them then “dumping” him, so yes middle school sounds about right. Off topic–middle school is brutal for everyone, but especially the kids who still really want to be kids, rather than adolescents.

Funny–I was just talking about this with my MIL the other day, saying that I hope my son doesn’t get his sweetness/sensitivity tease/bullied out of him as he goes through school, noting that middle school will likely be the worst time for that.
Another kid who wanted to be a kid here. The meanest girl in my middle school took a YA book I was reading (not “Twilight” YA – think more “Sweet Valley High”) and ripped it in half just to be mean. Middle school is hell. Thankfully, Facebook reveals that she is a rather unfortunate-looking manager at a Wendy’s now, so I feel at peace with the ordeal, LOL.
Taylor is just confused. She’s the girl going for the sweet-as-pie image. Katy is the girl in the image, wearing a dress covered in pies.

I also read that Katy was playing with her own hair, not with Harry’s hair. Or is it just me. I’m confused becaused it says, “her hair”. Then again, they also spelled Harry’s name as, “Harry Style” so I think they must have had a tired editor that day.
