Here are the splendid photos from last night’s London Film Festival premiere of The Imitation Game. Benedict Cumberbatch was there and he was wearing a vest but #NoVelvet. How is he ever going to win the Oscar if he doesn’t bring #AllTheVelvet? As for his hair… God, I hate it. I miss the Cumbercurls. I feel like he’s lost all of his Cumberpower now that he has short hair. Beyond all of that… sure, he looked nice. He always looks better in formalwear as opposed to casualwear.
As for Keira, she wore this Valentino Fall 2014 gown. I’m kind of “over” Keira in neutrals. I prefer her in brighter colors. This dress would have been gorgeous in a rich jewel tone. I like the sleeves, but overall… this just doesn’t sparkle like it should. Keira brought her husband James Righton as her date, but they didn’t pose together on the red carpet. But she totally posed with Benedict. He wrapped his arms around her and let her share his umbrella. Because SWOON. As for any possible sightings of the Secret Girlfriend… I didn’t see any photos of her. But I’m sure Twitter/Tumblr was probably abuzz with Cumberconspiracies. She was undercover as the umbrella!!!
Benedict also did an #AskBenedict Q&A on Twitter – go here to see some highlights. I didn’t really learn anything new, he kept his answers very short and simple. During the press conference for TIG yesterday, Benedict did complain about how people always associate him with brilliant characters. He was, like, whining about it.
Benedict Cumberbatch admits it’s “frustrating” people think he only plays smart characters – insisting he has played “stupid people as well”.
Speaking at a press conference with co-star Keira Knightley, he said: “I didn’t read the script and go, ‘Oh, this is Sherlock in tweed, fiddling with valves and wires.’ I’m limited by who I am and what I look like, but they’re utterly different people. He doesn’t demonstrate how brilliant he is, he’s very quiet, stoic. I have played stupid people as well! If anyone’s got any other stupid people I can play, let me know. I understand the [comparisons], it’s frustrating.”
Dude… you were on the cover of Time Magazine with the headline “Playing Genius.” There are SO many actors who would love to be typecast as “the dude who plays geniuses.” I feel like “complaining about playing geniuses” is the new “complaining about being considered posh.” Dear Benedict: you are posh and intelligent and you play posh and intelligent characters. Deal with it!

Someone is posting a link to Contact Music showing a lady looking a lot like Sophie leaving the Corinthian before the premiere but…it’s labeled Hayley Joanne Bacon, who is involved in theatre and film and had a small part in TIG. The pic looks a LOT like her IMDB pics and she is curvier than Sophie.
Morbid curiosity got the best of me so i looked. It’s definitely SH.
Nothing to add, 100% get not arriving /doing red carpet but for her not to be at after party is odd.
He owes people nothing about his personal life but it seems just so odd for two grown ups to behave in the way that’s being suggested.

I’m sorry but this is totally weird. Why on earth would she choose to go to the hotel where the cast were doing press/assembled and walk out knowing there would be press there just to go in a separate car and walk down the red carpet on her own? Why would she even need to be there? And she can’t even use her own umbrella? Sorry the whole thing is abnormal and proof of nothing expect weirdness.

Though I’m sure part of it is all in our own perceptions and in large part influenced by this gossip mill we’re trying to figure out, but he DOES seem like a different person this past year, in terms of his interviews and such. Maybe he’s just had a change of heart regarding interactions with media and public, maybe it’s been a tough year behind the scenes, but it just seems…weird. Who knows, though. He might be skipping and singing through Regent’s Park, even as I type. happy as a clam and nothing is amiss.

I’ll say no. There were maybe two photos of SH on the red carpet, and people weren’t even 100% sure it was her. The only reason she got photographed at the hotel is because she was mistaken for another actress.
If they had left the hotel, gotten in the same car, and done the red carpet together, there’d be hundreds of photos. Perhaps that’s exactly what they were trying to avoid. At least for now. And for the premiere.
If in 3 or 4 months they are still doing this, then yes, that is completely ridiculous. But to go their separate route at his big premiere, that makes sense. Must not have been the right time/place to reveal the relationship (if there is one)

Linz- There is no proof they are dating. My point is they didn’t *want* there to be proof, yet. I suppose that’s the crux of it. If they are dating, they are obviously not ready for it to be public knowledge as of yesterday. That’s why she left the hotel separately, travelled in a separate car, did not walk to red carpet with him, and possibly didn’t attend the after party.
Once they do an event together, that’s basically confirmation of their relationship. Maybe they’re simply not ready for that, but she wants to be there with him. Why else would she be at that hotel? Were his parents there? Adam and his wife? His other friends? Karon was, but that’s business related. Why would Sophie be there unless it was with him? Either as just a friend or gf, no one here can say.
I don’t think it would be catastrophic at all if he went to a premiere with her. I’d like to see him have someone to go with. I don’t think he thinks it would be bad for his career or anything, it’s just that they simply aren’t ready to do that yet. And that’s fine. Each relationship goes at it’s own pace.

The inability to hold her own umbrella up annoyed me too. It was probably a service offered by the hotel but you can say “no”.
Tara i dont believe she was photographed because they thought she was someone else. Photographers would have known which hotels folks were staying at its common practice, they knew BC was there so would have taken photos of anyone coming out who looked like they were attending the gala. They then sell the photos to agencies etc.
if they were trying to avoid her being photographed its a VERY odd decision to stay in the same hotel and leave via the front door. The photographers can be seen from the lobby.
Hes commented on stuff like this before (with exception of Ibiza), so honestly i don’t see what would be so bad about saying similar to what hes previously said re: Lydia Hearst (if its casual) or Anna James (if its more serious) or if its nothing then just say it isn’t (redhead at his birthday springs to mind) and make a laugh at the absurdity of it all.

Tara. Copying my reply over here. You don’t seem to get what’s weird about it. As for there being hundreds of photos if she were with him, there were hundreds of photos anyway. The suggestion that her presence would significantly detract from the film is ludicrous and almost offensive to the work that’s gone Into to that movie. People are losing perspective if they really think the world at wide is really consumed by who he chooses as a premiere date. Majority of people don’t care.

Was trying to comment on the other thread before realizing it had closed…lol…anyway, the latest silly theory is that Sophie is possibly a decoy for the real gf, who might be American. This is for MissMary..maybe the real gf is still in that castle in Scotland! I’m kidding of course, but the mystery of Ben and Sophie is weird by any stretch of the imagination. Part of me thinks maybe they are trying (and failing) to hide their relationship. And that’s sad and pathetic.
I saw more photos of SH from Contact Music. She looks a tad pleased with herself. I pity the poor woman who had to hold an umbrella over her head.

Even if there’s nothing romantic, he’s either letting her use his fame to become more well known. or she’s just super shady in how she chooses to interact with the public and do this “are they or aren’t they” thing. I’m not deluded and I don’t think the critics and press and everyone would be talking about his girlfriend over the awesomeness of the movie. 🙂
I mean that for the premiere, at the LFF, that particular night, it would have been noticed if he brought a date. And b/c Ben has such great pride in and commitment and dedication to this film and all the work and people involved with it, I simply don’t think he would want any attention, no matter how small, to be put on his personal relationships. 100% of the focus was to be on the TIG movie.

Aagh. But they DIDN’T do things separately. Only a complete simpleton would do things like that if they actually wanted to avoid all attention. She could’ve got herself to he premiere, met him there, not walked red carpet etc.. But the main thing is the hotel exiting. Who in their right mind thinks that constitutes NOT being seen together? I absolutely do get what’s weird about it: 2 people in their 30’s, possibly in a relationship, attending the same event but doing everything separately. No documented interaction. Seemingly trying to keep it a secret. Weird way for a gf/bf to act and all that.
Why I think it’s not weird: They didn’t want to be photographed together at the event, they weren’t, and that’s fine. Had they been ‘out’ as a couple and acted this way, that would be weird. Maybe they aren’t serious yet and they are waiting to see where it goes before ‘officially’ coming out as a couple.
Her being at the hotel and leaving from the front right before him shows me that they are not really trying to hide it (otherwise she would have left a different way) and that is good. She’s there, she’s a part of his life (in whatever capacity), and when they are ready, they’ll reveal it. If it comes to that. I think he’s trying to keep his personal life private as much as he can w/o hiding the people important to him.

The night wouldn’t have been about them as a couple, the night would’ve been about the movie. Majority of people care about the film and dgaf about who he may or may not be dating.
I feel I’m banging my head against a brick wall here though Tara. There’s no consistency. As you say, walking out of the hotel in front of photogrpaher is NOT hiding anything and it gathers attention. So if they are dating and want to keep it quiet for now, that isn’t the way to go about it. At all. It’s so beyond bizarre. But from a woman who sticks a cushion up a dress and flails around the floor claiming it’s art, hardly surprising. I expected better from him though. I thought he was a pretty straightforward guy.

Why are people here, and elsewhere, so bent out of shape about what he does or doesn’t do with someone else. It’s like many of these posters have their own expectations of:
a) what the nature of his relationship with SH is
b) given that presumption, what the “correct” way is for the two of them to be together
c) given the presumption in b, what the “correct and only normal/acceptable/not childish/whatever adjective the poster chooses” way is for them to present that relationship at any and all public and private events
Why is it so hard for people to grasp that they don’t know him, they don’t know what his relationship actually is to this person, and that Cumberbatch (or any other celebrity) does not owe the public an explanation of his relationships, romantic or otherwise, is not obligated to publically present every person he knows to the press, and is not obligated to parade his friends/girlfriends/family/ex-girlfriends/FWB or anyone else out at a work event.
I seen some really hateful things spewed toward him, his friends, his publicist, etc based on what some entitled, shortsighted, insistent anonymous “fans” seem to feel they are entitled to from him. No surprise so many people (individuals and shady press alike) are falling for trollish posts that claim to reveal all, only to be proven to be hoaxes time and again.

If it was a secret, then yes, she may have snuck out a back entrance of the hotel with a coat over her head and booked it to the theatre (completely lame, glad that didn’t happen, no need for that). But even her just leaving the hotel a few minutes before him and taking a separate car is a lot different than showing up on the red carpet with him. I think that’s what they wanted to avoid, not the possibility that she may have been photographed coming out of the hotel, just the attention garnered if they arrived together. However small it may have been.
Even with her photographed leaving the hotel, there is no confirmation that they are together. I think they are (why else would she be there) but who knows? The premiere wasn’t the venue in which they wanted to reveal their relationship, but they are not actively hiding it.
Renee- Because they choose to. Everyone’s relationship is different and if they’re both cool with it, then alright. Only they know their reasons.

Lindy79-It would be unusual to comment if it’s nothing or not serious unless the other party is famous themselves. At one point, you have to stop responding to every single rumor that’s floated out there unless you want to encourage the fans’ sense of entitlement.
Everyone-The woman with the umbrella was a handler. Hunter then gets passed off to a different handler on the carpet, so nothing unusual or special about it. She was treated like the others.
Given how many TIG-related people came out of the hotel, including handlers, it looks to me as if the family, friends, cast group was assembled at that hotel for easier coordination. A $10 dollar bill says she just went with the handler as instructed. She could have snatched the umbrella away, I suppose, but I certainly wouldn’t make a fuss if I was not very familiar with red carpets. Besides, handlers are the ones in charge 😀
My unnecessary two cents’ is that they are not really dating. She could have easily been hidden if that was the case. Which brings me back ‘round to my first point. He can date a lampshade for all I care; I just find some reactions interesting.

I think it’s fair comment to question choices but nobody is insisting he should adapt what he does, however odd it may seem.
No, I don’t think he should make statements on anything personal and I never have done. Makes perfect sense to draw a line and not talk about his private life.
That’s why I find things like the hotel pics so weird. If you want to keep the press and the attention out of your life, then that’s not the way to go about it. She had no need to be there as such and it just generates attention and feeds the paps.
And if they are dating, to leave the hotel before him but not travel in the same car as him to an event they’re both attending is just bizarre. That doesn’t diffuse attention, it encourages it.

The difference between her and other friends and family is that she’s been romantically linked to him, and they would have no reason to keep other friends and family private. Fact is, they’ve known each other for years but she’s only in the last 5-6 month been close in his circle and been around him a lot that people are aware.
Look, it seems that having any sort of opinion puts you into the mad fangirl category and I can only assure that I’m not. I just find the handling of this a bit odd, I’m not going to lie.
As Ive said countless times, I get the not wanting to go public, plenty of folks both famous and non do it (I dated my husband for 6/7 months in work before we even hinted there was anything going on because…well who knows at the start how things will work out. No one expects musical type singing announcements after a few dates. However we interacted in work on a daily basis and at functions..and yes I know I am not a celebrity), but in order to do that, it’s possible to be there but not be there if you get me (as Tara said above, wanting to keep it quiet not secret) but walking out the front door of the hotel alone with cameras there and then marching up the red carpet alone are not exactly flying under the radar or keeping it quiet, there are alternative options to both. Why did she not walk with other F&F? That would surely be 100 times less conspicuous, to appear part of a group rather than a solo person.
As others have said, maybe it IS their way of coming out without doing a Hello cover shoot, which is completely fair enough but then why was she not at the after party. Yes it’s work but so was the gala..and really any event like this such as Oscars, Baftas, premieres is “work” if you want to argue semantics.
I’ve enjoyed this little discussion. Everyone here has been civil and mature. There’s no reason for nastiness just because people disagree with each other (or just with me, lol). Thanks! 🙂
Word, Lindy. I completely understand not wanting to walk the red carpet together. A lot of couples don’t do that.
However, it doesn’t make sense that she would walk out of the front of a hotel where they’re doing *press* interviews and where it’s known paps are going to be outside, to walk (even if quickly) by herself and not with the other friends and family he has there down the red carpet, only to not be with him at any point at the inside of the premiere/gala or the after party.
Why, then, did she even go in the first place, if she wasn’t going to spend any time with him and they’re trying to keep everything secret? If she wasn’t going to support him at any point, then why is she there if it’s so important to keep their relationship under wraps? It doesn’t add up. If she’s such a special snowflake and must be kept secret, why didn’t she just stay home?
Is she trying to be a sneaky beard for him? Strange PR relationship? Something is really fishy there…

I like a sharp suit on a man, but I’m not sure about the west. It’s too low cut. And it doesn’t look like it was part of the original ensemble. It’s a different shade of black. It would have been better if it was made of a different fabric or even an other colour.
If you look really closely at the photo the waistcoat/vest matches the lapels of his jacket. Or it could just be a trick of the light, either way I think he looks smashing.

He looked gorgeous last night and was adorable with fans. Some of the photos of him with water droplets glistening on the umbrella are beautiful. I love the short hair. It takes years off him. Maybe its time celebitchy focused on some other actors. If you dont like the way he looks any more just stop moaning and post articles on someone else. It’s not as if the site posts images you can’t see elsewhere and a lot quicker too.

Kiara is beautiful, has great style and seems to be a really nice person.
But I hate her ‘acting’, especially as she is always cast in plum roles. It seems like for every film set before the 1950s Kiara is the automatic choice. She puts me off going to see any film she’s in.

I think she is gorgeous and nice but I hate her acting as well. I remember sitting in Anna Karenina in theatres and realizing she has about 5 expressions she uses routinely in all her movies.

John Finnemore is a brilliant comedic writer, who never loses sight of the heart and soul of his characters. (and he’s not a bad voice actor either…some would say he’s….brilliant!)
And he’s got the perfect cast to work with: Cumberbatch, Roger Allam, Stephanie Cole, Tony Head (Gilles from Buffy for those who remember that) plus lots of other players.

Some of the best photos I’ve seen of celebrities. The clear plastic umbrellas and the raindrops just added a touch of romanticism to the photographs.
Keira looks regal and Benedict looks wonderful. When I first saw the short hair on him I hated it. I know he cut it down for Richard III because he wears a wig but now I like it, it takes years off his face and the weight gain helps too.
I thought he had gotten way too thin for Sherlock Series 3, here he looks rested, happy and healthy so it’s all good.
The short hair does make him look younger, most definitely.

He looked fantastic: the hair and suit work well for him, and he was unfussed by the rain, just grabbing an umbrella and working it.
Love the pics of the two of them, the water droplets were gorgeous on the umbrellas, framing them magically in some of the pics.
I can’t understand folks who are grousing about him looking tired or unhappy…he looked thrilled on the red carpet, balanced by being appropriately serious for the subject matter. And he looks like someone who is energetic but working hard: filming Shakepearean battle scenes one day, and then doing all day press and movie premieres at the London Film Festival gala the next!
Based solely on what is known by the public of his work schedule, I have no idea where that man gets half the energy he seems to have at these events. I’d have fallen asleep in the car on the way to the premiere and not woken up till I had to be on set the next morning, lol.

I think you all are reading waaaay too much into the Sophie thing. I just get friendship vibe from her. Wouldn’t surprise me if she was using his connections a little. She’s not exactly setting the world on fire. Maybe she is a bit if an eccentric weirdo in real life.
that’s kind of where I am on it, ngl. I mean, I’m annoyed by a lot of it, lol, but if I look at it without the annoyance levels, it seems like he’s helping her with connections. Didn’t he do that with James Rhodes? Introduce him to some people and help him connect with folks to get his already known name more well known? If he’s about to do Hamlet, and she is styling herself as a theatre director/producer, it’d be great for him to hook her up with the theatre world at the level he’ll be working in for the next year (and already is, when he does theatre work these days).

I can mail a letter to Mickey Mouse and it goes to an address in Florida but it doesn’t mean it’s really Mickey Mouse. I can mail one to George Clooney in Italy and so long as the address is the same town he stays in, the post will show it went to George Clooney in Italy in that specific town he stays in. As several folks pointed out, most celebs do *NOT* get post at home specifically to keep their home addresses more private.

Someone posted a photo of one parcel and a label (from September). The label said Mr. B. Cumberbatch and had his address on it. The parcel had a label that said Miss Sophie Hunter and had the same address. The person who posted the photo, was trying to say that it was proof that they are living together. (The Tumblr Blog that posted the photo, has been taken down)
Many Celebs do not have their mail delivered to their houses. They have P.O. Boxes, Umbrella Addresses/Private Limited Company Addresses, etc, etc. It has been said that Benedict has had a ” Private Limited Company Address” set up for sometime.
In other words, the person who posted the photo, was full of it and was trolling.

@Kazlock: The bartender one is more realistic than anything else posted, not because I “want” it to be true but because it a.) lacks the deep detail of made up b.s. and b.) sounds like stuff he’s said/done in the past. BUT…who knows. I just flat wouldn’t trust EB’s gossip, period. Esp when people on there have openly posted that they tip off tabs based on their “hunches” and shit. Also, mediamass sucks. They think they’re funny but they’re just starting more gossip. They post the same s tories (intentionally) about actors and celebs over and over, trying to “prove a point”. If you look through the site, you’ll see they had the same story about Ben Whishaw, BC, and about five other actors “getting engage” (down to the letter, just changing the names), getting married, having a pet dog, etc. They’re trying to take the piss out of tabloids but are just really annoying.

Look, I could go on EB right now and post about how my “good friend in the industry’ delivers pizza to SH and BC every Tuesday night at the address on the packets, and that’s proof. And people will run with it. Or I could start a rumor about how I know for sure, because I met them both at some event and they weren’t together-together but were staring longingly across the room/texting all night/ ordering the same drink, so they ARE together omg, and people would run with it and it’d be taken as gospel truth by a segment of fandom. Anyone who says they “know for sure” they’re living together based on those doctored pics is full of it. It’s not “well known” (I mean, wasn’t the whole “oh he and KB are super serious and it’s well known that they’re going to take the next step!” the big thing this past spring?) they’re doing anything. There are a lot of attention seekers/sh*t stirrers/crazy people posting all kinds of nonsense ATM. In addition to the mad games of telephone going on with things being echoed back and distorted or previously refuted things coming up again (“he’s a lying liar who lies – I heard him say on tv he doesn’t smoke and he clearly does. So…LIAR!” when the quote in question was BC talking years ago about the first episode of Sherlock, saying something meaning “I don’t smoke as Sherlock”) there are people just making things up to either suit their pet theories, gain attention, or mess with other people. Or it seems because they are sadly just batsh*t crazy.

Kiera and benedict looked amazing. I loved her dress and makeup. But, Sophie’s dress, though, I didn’t care for it…..maybe I’m not in touch with fashion, but it looks like a quilt and it swallows her up.
But nooo, these are really some of the best photos of Cumberbatch and Knightley I’ve seen in quite some time! I like Ben’s hair, he looks lovely and elegant, and Keira looks wonderful, too.
As for the playing stupid people bit – there might be a couple of them on his CV, but 95% of his characters, particularly in the last 4-5 years, really are in the intellectually superior (and emotionally stunted, and posh) mould. I can understand his frustration with comparisons between Turing and Sherlock, but they are quite inevitable. Someone do cast him in a HQ comedy, I think he’s got all it takes for that!
When he does comedy, he’s very good at it. He has great timing and isn’t afraid to look silly or really “go for it”. I don’t think I could see him in a “Dumb and Dumber” type role (though I might be wrong, lol, and he does one and rocks the hell out of it) but I’d love to see him in more comedies.

DDL did some comedies early in his career (he was hilarious going through the hotel “river” in Stars & Bars) and some comedic roles (Cecil in Room with a View).
Good comedies are not that abundant out there. However he wants a silly role, I don’t see him in a silly movie. I think he’s waiting for a call from Wes Anderson.
I thought Judd Apatow would have gotten him by now. Didn’t Benedict say something about wanting to be in one of his comedies? And Apatow’s wife likes Benedict (according to that awards dinner last year), so maybe she’ll nudge her husband into writing a part for him?
@’P’enny, we’re talking about the guy who did a Star Trek reboot and who still does Sherlock, right? 😉 In terms of quality and pop-culture-ness, del Toro project is on the same par as Star Trek and Sherlock. Even an average quality del Toro project.
Ben might be aiming to be known as the best actor of his generation, I can’t read his mind, and he’s certainly delivering very solid performances. But imo he’ll never be on Phoenix’s and Day Lewis’s level. Very very few actors can reach that height. I think that JP and DDL have something that BC lacks, and it’s this weird sparkle of genius that is not born out of cerebral take on acting but rather from the actor’s whole physique, persona, you name it. They are also quite unpredictable in their choices and absolutely mercurial in their acting.
I’m more inclined to think that, judging by Ben’s choice of roles, he’s carving out a niche for himself as a “really serious business” actor 😀
@Penny, I disagree with Crimson not to his high standard. Chastain and Mia W have very high standard too, if Crimson is good for them, I don’t see how it isn’t good for him.

It’s strange to me that there was so much fan blow-up, clamoring for information and announcements about him *on the exact day* where he did a big press conference, tons of interviews, made an appearance at a premiere, met, chatted, posed with fans. The guy spent his whole day practically in public, and some people want more more more. Exactly how much is enough?
It’s not like there’s been a huge dry spell with him lately…how about we sit back and enjoy his work(all the projects he’s got coming out) , the many many interviews, the magazine articles, the magazine covers, the behind the scenes pics, the fundraiser stuff (videos and chats and donations he does). It’s fine to gossip and speculate a bit, but the investment, desperation and neediness and/or entitlement of some folks is really odd to me. (not picking on anyone only here necessarily, but there are a couple places where that behavior is rampant)
There’s a Gala performance of TIG for Harper’s Bazaar tonight.Followed by a VIP dinner.
They are really promoting the Hell out of this movie (at once awesome and tiring, I’m sure). Whenever there’s multiple gala performances of the same show in the same area in close proximity, I always want to go “what, that magazine/news agency/whatever couldn’t just come to the first one?” LOL I know that’s not how it works but I guess that’s also why I’m not in showbiz.
Is The Theory of Everything playing at LFF? I want that movie (and Eddie’s performance) to get some love, too!

Re sophie, it’s just off. If they are dating and don’t want the attention, then she should have gone in a side door and not have worn dress that makes you stand out like a sore thumb. I tend to think maybe benedict is helping this girl get more exposure for her career. I also don’t think benedict could hide a relationship if he tried. His emotions would resignate that. Look how excited he got just from seeing his Star Trek peeps. Just my two cents, I might be completely wrong.

There’s also filming for any number of projects, including Richard III, other friends he has, and media/promo stuff. So… who knows. I’d put my money on promos for TIG or another project before “super secret gf rendez vous with her mother”.

2 separate tweets were pisted that placed him on the flight this morning.
I know I’ve said this about eight times in different ways, but Wednesday was ridiculous. I want to stay out of the spotlight, so I stroll with a handler out of a press packed hotel into a crowd of paps just to get into a separate car to the person I’m being linked with in the press. That is everything BUT avoiding attention. I’m so tired of hearing about this woman, I really am.
No matter what her role is in his life, public or private, she gives me a bad taste. I don’t think this is a case of “oh, she’s shy” (uh, no, not based on her history, she’s not), or “oh, she’s socially awkward”… it’s weird. Not in a fun, quirky way or a “hey, maybe there’s an issue with neuroatypicality and she reads as different to neurotypical persons”. the behavior just comes off to me (and others) as attention-seeking and really makes me think it’s an “arrangement” to get her name more known using his fame, and he’s likely on board. All that said, it’s nice to see the majority of the mainstream media is focusing on the film and not the rumors.

Well, I really think the only reason people are “seeing the coincidences” now are because of that April tabloid blurb. People did not make NEARLY this fuss when KB was literally everywhere with him, or Vicki, or Lydia Hearst… Don’t get me wrong, fusses were made, but nowhere near this level. And he was plenty famous then–it has nothing to do with “oh he’s more well known now!” It’s more to do with there was already some shit-stirring going on with fake rumors.
