Here are some more photos of Blake Lively out and about over the weekend. I covered Blake’s weird short-skirt and poncho-coat ensemble yesterday. The outfits in these photos make even less sense. The short-sleeved grey coat is by Michelle Kim, and the Mail says it’s Blake’s new favorite and that she has the coat in grey, camel and burgundy. The coat is fine and I probably would buy it for myself if it was on sale. The rest of the outfit? My God. It’s like pregnancy has turned her into Mrs. Roper.
Blake was also out with her friends from The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. I’m including some pics of Blake with Amber Tamblyn. It’s so weird to me that they’re still friends! But it’s sweet. Blake, Amber and Alexis Bledel went out together to America Ferrera in Lips Together, Teeth Apart on Broadway.
Meanwhile, the UK gossips (how would they know?) claim that Blake is super-committed to having a healthy, active pregnancy:
Blake Lively is said to be doing Pilates and yoga every day of her pregnancy. As she gears up to be a mom, the blonde beauty is said to be taking her diet very seriously.
“Blake wants her pregnancy to go as smoothly as possible so is avoiding processed food and does Pilates and yoga every day,” a source told British magazine Closer.
She has also followed in the footsteps of other female celebrities such as Drew Barrymore in hiring a doula, a non-medical expert to help guide a woman through her labour and offer advice afterwards.
“She hopes the doula will help for the first few months of being a mom,” the insider added.
She probably is doing prenatal yoga – a lot of Hollywood and non-Hollywood women seem to be doing prenatal yoga these days and from what I’ve seen, it really does help them “snap back” after a few months. With Pilates, I’m not so sure, but whatever. I think gossips are just trying to paint Blake as The New Goop, like she’s going to be condescending to everyone about food and diet. While I think Blake is annoying (and maybe even dumber than we originally considered), I actually don’t think she’s going to be, like, Goop-level judgy.

I may be in the minority, but I’m really enjoying Blake’s pregnancy style. She’s got a model’s body anyway, so she really looks good in anything.

It really is sweet that they are all still so close. I kind of love that they are BFF’s in real life. I always wonder if their men get along. I can totally see Amber’s husband and Alexis’ husband getting along but I can’t quiet picture Ryan fitting in with those dudes at all.
As to Blake, she is beautiful as ever and has the body type that can wear anything but that jump-suit is straight up awful.
Ryan and David Cross (Amber’s husband) are close; they tend to do couple trips etc. Not sure about the others.

On a snarky note, is her old nose growing back? Is that possible after plastic surgery? Would pregnancy cause the nose to get larger? I’ve heard of feet growing during pregnancy, but a nose? Regardless, her original nose looks way better.
I have heard that pregnancy can change your facial features including your nose which may become broader.

No, they are all still friends in RL from what I can gather. They all attended each others weddings( Amber Tamblyn did one of the readings at America’s wedding and Blake helped Amber pick her wedding dress) and occasionally they have been spotted through the years at lunch,at plays, on girls weekends, at each others events. They seem to be super supportive of each other.
What I will say about those clothes: Too much Blake Lively.

Odd she didnt fly to toronto with Ryan for the Canadian Walk of Fame awards. I know she is pregnant but many pregnant women still fly….Reese W. flew to cannes when she was expecting. First of all, we dont even know if Rachel is still with that guy she was papped a few monts ago, plus, it is not like Blake stayed home in these days, the same night ryan was awarded she was attending some art gallery opening with Amber and the pic was spread via instagram, so she still managed to get attention and to promote preserve by making Amber wear some ugly coat… But to each his own!

I guess I don’t understand the point of a short sleeved coat, it seems ironic to me. If I need a coat because it’s chilly out, I’ll pick one that has long sleeves.

Too bad there are no pictures of the other Travelling Pants Girls as the others are far more interesting and convey so much more depth and intelligence. Caught a fairly recent movie of Alexis Bledel’s this weekend – The Brass Teapot – and she gets more beautiful with age. Blake, although beautiful has remained the same just older and boring, boring, boring……..

I love my prenatal yoga class (to be fair, I was practicing yoga for years before I got pregnant) It’s the only thing that helps with the back pain. Do some people really use it to ‘bounce back’ in pre-pregnancy form?

For one, the 2 pattern outfit reminds me of Beyoncé in London , and I remember Beyoncé looking better . I think Blake was inspired by bey! But I didn’t care for any of the 4 prints on the 2 ladies. As a Blake fan the shorts outfit kinda disapoints me but she still looks good. The fancier outfit with the scarf is very nice. Has a retro feeling with the length of the onsie

And I think you guys are missing the order of the events. Blake finds things she like, then the brings them to Preserve, then she adverts them. She doesn’t need to advert something she doesn’t like because she could sell whatever she wants. Unless they’re already paying her to sell their stuff (when they look for her instead of she looking for them). If it’s already like that, so her business are doing even better than I thought. I still think she’s the one choosing though. But her hormones are definitely affecting her fashion taste. That puppy thing is horrendous.

Why is there so much hate for this girl? She seems completely harmless and I think she is adorable. The only explanation I can come up with is that people associate her with her character on gossip girl. I saw her Vogue interview video recently and she seemed genuinely sweet and down to earth. No, she isn’t a great actress, but she has great style and compared to some of the druggy inappropriate celebrities her age, she is someone girls can really look up to. She is shilling the hell out of her website, maybe it is a little transparent but so what?! She is very successful, the products are selling out like mad.
