Here are some (very blurry, low-quality) photos of Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs in NYC last night. She had a concert and Rob was there, and then he sort of acted as her bodyguard post-concert. They’ve been following each other around for weeks now – he’s been going to all of her concerts, they go shopping together, she followed him to Canada where he was supposed to start a film. That film, Idol’s Eye, lost its financing at the last minute, so with a hole in his schedule, Rob decided to simply return to being Twigs’ #1 Groupie. They are totally loved up. They seem a little bit crusty and unwashed, but I think that’s just who he is. I wonder how often he bathes?

Ever since Rob got with Twigs, he’s been talking more and more about his future real estate plans. He bought and then quickly sold a large property in LA, then he moved into a series of smaller rental properties. He even talked about moving back to London, which is where Twigs is based. Although… she seems pretty comfortable visiting him in LA, so it’s possible that they could make a home with each other in multiple cities. I tended to think that Rob probably would end up moving back to London at some point. But… nope. Variety reports that Rob actually just bought a smaller home in the Hollywood Hills. While Robert Pattinson skulked around The Big Apple over the weekend with his arty-farty and — ahem — exotically named singer-songwriter gal pal FKA twigs — yes, that’s her chosen name, children — Your Mama heard from both celebrity real estate yenta Yolanda Yakketyyak and the inestimable Lucy Spillerguts that the “Twilight” franchise superstar turned up-and-coming leading man is the secret buyer behind the $2,176,500 blind trust purchase of a humble if well-appointed and hardly inexpensive home in a celebrity-filled pocket of the Hollywood Hills.

Set privately behind another house down a long, gated red brick driveway, the single-story hacienda-style casa has just two bedrooms and two bathrooms and comes in at 1,940-square feet, as per listing details we scared up out of the internets.

Rustic and satisfyingly well-patinated terra cotta tile floors run throughout the interconnected main living spaces — the flooring switches to wood in the bedrooms — that include a reasonably roomy living room with multiple French doors that open to the yard. Twin arches flank a minimalist, double-sided fireplace and lead into a sky-lit, combination kitchen and dining area with vaulted, open beam ceiling and a full-complement of high-end stainless steel appliances, including a $14,000 U.K.-manufactured cast iron range. Both bedrooms have custom built-in wardrobes and direct access to outdoor living and lounging areas and both bathrooms have arched and tiled combination shower/tubs, the hall bath in cobalt blue and the master bath in celery green.

A brick veranda runs along the inside façade of the angled residence and gives way to a somewhat compact but remarkably private and tree-shaded yard with good-sized flat lawn, wee kidney-shaped swimming pool and rugged canyon views. Courtyard areas around the side and rear of the residence include variety of terraces and a secluded spa set into a brick terrace tightly girdled by a thick wall of privacy ensuring shrubbery.

The property in question is remarkably more modest in scale and significantly less pricy than the celeb-pedigreed spread in L.A.’s Los Feliz ‘hood Mister Pattinson picked up in September 2011 for $6.275 million and sold in January 2014 for $6,375,000 to Emmy-hoovering sitcom supernova Jim Parsons.

So, is Sparkles nesting? Is this going to be his LA love shack? Will FKA Twigs come and stay with him when she’s not on tour? Will he also buy a London love shack? So many questions. Anyway… I like these two together. I think they’re adorable.
