Jennifer Aniston would elope with Justin, but his mom would be ‘bummed’

aniston THR

Jennifer Aniston scored the new cover of The Hollywood Reporter. THR hasn’t released anything, but I imagine we’ll be talking about this interview in the days to come. The headline – “Jennifer Is Just Fine” – makes me think that this interview was conducted just after she became the #1 Oscar Snub of the 2015 awards season. But that would be a very quick turn-around for an interview, right? The cover promises: “Unafraid to talk about anything, Aniston opens up about everything – her struggles with anger, her dyslexia, that Oscar snub – as she enters a period of intense midlife contemplation (don’t worry, it’s not a crisis): ‘I know I have a bigger purpose.’” What does it all mean?! Her struggles with anger, her bigger purpose? Huh.

Meanwhile, Jennifer is still making the rounds. I imagine these were all the outlets she scheduled when she thought she was going to be an Oscar nominee. She appeared on Good Morning America this morning (we’ll probably cover that interview tomorrow) and she gave a lengthy interview to E! News. They ended up talking about whether Jennifer and Justin Theroux would elope, and whether Aniston can actually bake a #CAKE.

It’s the question Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux just can’t escape: When are you two getting married?! While the couple has kept their big day a secret for quite some time, the most recent reports say the two are planning to “just do it.” So does this mean Hollywood’s A-list couple could be thinking of eloping?

“Sometimes, it means just go ahead and just do it,” Aniston told E! News when asked to clarify the reports. “That might bum a lot of people out if we did that, especially his mom.”

Putting wedding planning aside, Aniston is focused on the release of Cake that finally comes out nationwide on Friday. Weren’t you curious if Aniston can actually make a tasty cake?

“No I don’t bake. I make a great carbonara. It’s really, really good,” she gushed to E! News. “And then I can also do spanakopita, but it takes me about five hours. I do it the way my grandmother taught me.”

So it’s safe to say Theroux is the star in the kitchen? You bet!

“He’s a great cook. Breakfast? He does huevos rancheros that are divine. That was actually yesterday’s breakfast. He really goes to town,” she explained. “Anything he commits himself to, he…knocks it out of the park.”

[From E! News]

She can cook a complicated Greek dish but she can’t learn how to bake a cake? I mean, I could bake a cake if you let me follow a recipe, and I’m really not a great baker at all. Granted, I think Jennifer employs a full or part-time chef, doesn’t she? If I could afford a full-time chef, I wouldn’t know how to cook or bake anything either. As for Justin’s mother… I didn’t even know Justin had a mother. This is literally the first time I’ve ever heard any reference to Mother Eyebrow. Huh.

Ugh that story title is annoying.

I don’t generally have any problems with Jennifer Aniston but sometimes I don’t like how she’s a willing participant in the victim storyline that the media often puts her in. She has a wonderful life – the poor me attitude from the media, sometimes perpetuated by her even, is irksome.

    • perplexed says:

I think she answers the questions fine (or at least like any other celebrity). I think it’s what the journalists put in in the intervening paragraphs or in the headlines that seems to change the tone of a piece. I could imagine another actress saying the same things (or even another actor like Channing Tatum when he discusses his dyslexia), but then whatever the journalists puts between the words would have a different perception put into the writing.

      • LAK says:

Jennifer Aniston has 100% picture and copy approval which means the questions are approved, AND the final article is approved, so yes, she actively participates in this victimisation. It’s not journalists alone trying to push that crown onto her head.

      • pikny says:

justin in the closet…..come out come out wherever you are…lol

    • Luca76 says:

I honestly think she likes to be the victim. I don’t like some of the comments made about her here but I really believe that she has a maytr complex.

      • minx says:

Yes, and I think she and Huvane discerned 10 years ago–correctly–that the Poor Jen image worked for her. There is a female segment who strongly identify with her as the sad, blameless jilted woman, thrown over for a beautiful rival. These people don’t do nuance. She is always a victim in their eyes, whether it’s with men or an Oscar “snub”.

      • Janie says:

I can’t imagine anyone being bummed out if she elopes. She’s had the huge wedding, who gives a rats anymore? Get married or don’t, have a kid or don’t. Good grief.

      • Erinn says:

Janie – and at the same time – what’s stopping them from bringing a couple of really close family members along and then jetting off somewhere else for a honeymoon.

My mom said ‘you can not have a big wedding or do whatever you want, but I want to be there”.

      • @Erinn
Exactly. I was talking to my mom about this, about how I don’t want a huge wedding–would probably go down to the courthouse, and then would want a big party in the backyard of my grandma’s house (where all of our family events occur), and my mom just said she’d take care of everything, she just wanted to celebrate.

I don’t see how, if she doesn’t want a bunch of paps at or around her wedding, she can’t just go to the courthouse in NY or LA, get legally married to Justin, and then rent a giant ballroom in a hotel in NY or LA, have an awesome party with all of their mutual friends and family, and call it a day. If she wants to say some vows in front of her friends/family, have her hairdresser bestie officiate (or whatever the title is), and wear a giant poofy dress if that’s what she wants.

      • Bloorville says:

She admits in the article to being a passive aggressive neurotic control freak douche right before she shoves her 80 some yr old Mom she banished from her life under a bus for the umpteenth time for being the most evil pos in the world. Too bad she can’t fight back any more….

Which leads me to another question -do we know any other celebs whose Mom’s have written detailed sad and tragic accounts of her daughter not speaking to her for years, and the daughter never gets asked about it – even when she disses her mother over and over and over again….?

She’s enabled and never held accountable. Low bar-iston.

      • CLEA says:

what bloorville said: word and brilliantly put!

      • Erm says:

        (In response to Bloorville)
Honestly, even if Aniston is a passive aggressive douche, that has to come from somewhere and it’s usually learned from the parents. If someone feels the need to shut their parent out of their life, it’s rare that they came to make that decision lightly, or that the parent is an innocent victim of an ungrateful child. Usually the parent was absolutely awful to the child while they were growing up (and even beyond childhood). And when the parent loudly publicises their ‘grief’, plays the victim and blames everything on the child, that is a big red flag that the parent is probably a narcissist or has some other (untreated) personality disorder that made their child’s life hell growing up. So yeah, I don’t shade Aniston for cutting off her mother, not without knowing what it was like for her growing up. Some people are simply toxic and liars to their last breath.

  2. Cecada says:

OK so now we get the reinforcement of the idea that she was “snubbed” by Oscar. Was she? Really? The thing that would have been shocking is if she had actually gotten a nomination, not that she didn’t. I see that her hired Oscar Strategist is still working it.

    • PunkyMomma says:

Totally agree with your comment – an Oscar snub is still a step up for her.

    • kai says:

You have to admit it’s clever.

      • Janet says:

It’s not clever. It’s stale, tired and old. It’s theme and variation on Poor Jen. And being the #1 snub? Who does she think she is? She wasn’t snubbed. She didn’t deserve a damn thing.

      • Cecada says:

Yes it is clever. 5-10 years from now that could be the very dialogue: Jennifer Aniston almost won an Oscar, or something to that effect. Most people are not dissecting this like we are; they will remember the sound bytes, the mag covers. So yes it’s clever: she’s managed to work “Oscar Nomination” into her legacy, without actually getting a nom, and off a crappy film nobody will see. Clever and manipulative.

      • Emma - the JP Lover says:

@Cecada, who wrote: “Yes it is clever. 5-10 years from now that could be the very dialogue: Jennifer Aniston almost won an Oscar, or something to that effect.”

They would only be able to say that if Jen had actually been ‘nominated’ for an Oscar. Each of the Oscar ‘nominees’ could have won an Oscar, but it’s hard to claim if a person wasn’t nominated.

      • Cecada says:

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I meant that the general public might have that impression – that she was “involved” in Oscars in some way. It’s enough to associate her “brand” with the Oscars, whether she was nom, won, or whatever.

      • Emma - the JP Lover says:

@Cecada, who wrote: “Sorry, I should have been more specific. I meant that the general public might have that impression – that she was “involved” in Oscars in some way. It’s enough to associate her “brand” with the Oscars, whether she was nom, won, or whatever. ”

Interesting. Can you think of anyone else from 5 – 10 years ago who wasn’t nominated for an Oscar, but whom people are still associating with almost getting an Oscar?

      • @Emma
Her fans will associate it with her. It’s like whenever someone says she can’t act–they always bring out “The Good Girl”. Which came out like 13 years ago.

And I’ve never seen anyone, in my 5 years of eager gossip consumption, talking about an Oscar snub on multiple talk shows, a magazine cover. Most actors don’t go on talk shows, etc, talking about how they were snubbed for an Oscar. You move on. Maybe you make a joke about it if you happen to be on a show/interview immediately after the nominations come out…..

And Jennifer’s not even promoting the film with this (not that we’ve seen yet)…..you’d think that the first quotes that she’d want released would have to do with the movie that is apparently coming out two days…..

      • Jessica says:

I’ve seen a lot of people say Ben Affleck WON the Best Director Oscar. His snub was a big thing too, and while he wasn’t personally as talkative about it he got all his friends talking about it. Apparently a couple of years later all some people remember is Ben Affleck+Best Director.

      • Emma - the JP Lover says:

@Jessica, who wrote: “I’ve seen a lot of people say Ben Affleck WON the Best Director Oscar. His snub was a big thing too, and while he wasn’t personally as talkative about it he got all his friends talking about it. Apparently a coupe of years later all some people remember is Ben Affleck + Best Director.”

That’s because Ben Affleck WON a Golden Globe for Best Director – “Argo;” he WON a BAFTA for Best Director – “Argo;” and he WON the DGA (Director’s Guild of America) Award for Best Director – “Argo.” So yes, you could actually say that Ben Affleck ‘was’ snubbed by Oscar. It’s also understandable why people ‘would’ mistakenly think Ben won an Oscar for “Argo” … because he won all the other big awards for the film.

It’s not the same thing as someone being nominated for the other big awards, not winning any of those awards, and thinking that somehow in a decade people will associate their name with ‘almost winning an Oscar’ when they weren’t even nominated.

      • Emma - the JP Lover says:

        @Virgilia Coriolanus …

Yep, I know. It’s their comfort zone, and I do respect that … it’s just hard at times not to say anything about it.

      • Bloorville says:

Yes, but Jessica Ben Affleck actually directed an Oscar nominated critically acclaimed film.

Aniston’s performance was not universally praised by critics, it went from meh to terrific (for HER) and the film was panned from meh to awful.

Step back for a moment — and actually think about what you’re doing comparing Cake, which no one has even seen yet, and those who have, have panned it – to Argo’s critical reception and Ben winning most of the awards for it before Oscar.

    • Ella12 says:

She was not snubbed in my opinion. Marion got in over her. Marion is so deserving. Her performance was raved about this year & she picked up tons of awards for it.
Jen is not , and will never, be on the same level.

    • Someonestolemyname says:

All she’s doing is antagonising the Academy with promoting this as a snub.

I honestly don’t believe she was ever considered or even in the running.

    • Diane says:

We all know that she would never have won even if she had been nominated. The really great news is that she won’t be able to change her name to “Oscar nominee Jennifer Aniston.” She’ll never be able to associate herself with the Oscars. She can’t act. But she will be sure to be referred to in her next film thing as “Golden Globe nominee Jennifer Aniston.”

  3. AbbySaurusVex says:

The “I didn’t get a nomination, but I will find the strength to move on” tour is right on course. I hope they shoot t-shirts out of a gun in between sets.

    • Sullivan says:

      LOL. She’s a survivor, ya’ll.

    • micki says:

I find it amusing that she thinks she has been snubbed.
Anyway I’m curious what her new PR line will be.

      • Emma - the JP Lover says:

        @Micki …

Well, judging by the cover she’s stilling working the ‘Sex Kitten Starlet’ PR line, so the question is … what else will she bring to the mix? The only thing left is ‘the Blushing Bride.’ Justin’s mother will be so pleased (what about ‘her’ mother?).

      • Bloorville says:

Her mother wasn’t invited to her first wedding, and never met her husband either — so I doubt now that she’s in bad shape (elderly, reportedly has had a stroke), and Aniston is still talking this most awful shameful smack about her, she won’t be at the next one….that is, IF it even happens.

  4. Abbott says:

Huh. She really, really thought she’d have that nomination locked. Think Huvane had a sassy McConaissance nickname planned out? ResurJence? Reincarniston?

ETA: Theroux’s mother was a WashPo journalist.

  5. truthSF says:

So now she has dyslexia? It’s amazing how campaigning for an Oscar can help reveal your innermost hidden secrets.

    LOl @Mother Eyebrow.

    • Emma - the JP Lover says:

@TruthSF, who wrote: “So now she has dyslexia? It’s amazing how campaigning for an Oscar can help reveal your innermost hidden secrets.”

I paused at that as well. Does she really have dyslexia or is this a way to explain–now that she’s a ‘serious actress,’ y’all–why she’s never bother to improve herself beyond a Junior High School surfer Dude-ette vocabulary?

  6. Kiddo says:

Meh, some people have preferences to cook or bake, it’s not that unusual.

    • perplexed says:

I prefer cooking to baking, because if I bake I know I’ll grow to the size of a Michelin Man. Cupcakes are not my friend.

      • Kiddo says:

Curiously, when I bake, my desire for eating baked goods is diminished. Like having smelled it kills it for me.

But since she prefers cooking, can we assume that CAKE is half-baked?

    • MrsBPitt says:

I agree…I like to cook…but hate to bake! Plus, if I baked a cake, I would probably eat the whole thing myself (no one in my house is a sweet eater, but me)!

Does Anniston EVER do a cover where she is fully clothed? Just asking! Somehow, I see an 80 year old Jennifer on the cover of AARP magazine in just a depends and with her arms down by her belly to cover up her sagging 80 year old breasts!

      • PrincessMe says:

“Does Anniston EVER do a cover where she is fully clothed? Just asking! Somehow, I see an 80 year old Jennifer on the cover of AARP magazine in just a depends and with her arms down by her belly to cover up her sagging 80 year old breasts!”

Bwahahahahaha…. OMG, I actually pictured that. hahahahahaha.

      • Lucky Charm says:

Thanks a whole lot for that visual! Puts me right off my breakfast. Then again, I could afford to drop a pound or two, lol!

      • Coco says:

I know right! The big sweater, no pants look..

    • Plus you find certain things more enjoyable to make. I like both cooking and baking, but prefer to make cakes/quick breads/pies–NOT cookies. God. I love eating cookies, but I HATE making them. As it stands, the only one who can willingly get me to make cookies is either Little Brothes OR my mom (who only eats oatmeal cookies). But I just hate having to sit around the kitchen for the 10-15 minutes between pans.

      • Kiddo says:

Cookies are more labor intensive, you have to shape them out separately or roll and cut them….Bridget on the Hilaria thread mentioned flexible oatmeal, maybe this is a good application for it, lol.

    • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

I love to bake. Melting the chocolate and butter…sifting the flour… beating the eggs…mixing it all together and then it turns into something magic. It’s the most relaxing thing in the world to me.

I really like cooking, but it’s more nerve-wracking to me because so many things are happening at once.

      • Kiddo says:

Cooking is more intuitive though. Although after you get the gist of the chemistry in baking, it makes it easier to alter or create new recipes. I am the kind of person who does a lot of both and then who doesn’t bother with either for a long time.
        #weirdo

      • Rachel says:

I’m the exact same way Gnat. The process of it is so relaxing. I don’t mind cooking either, and I’ve actually become quite good at it over the last few years, but it just doesn’t relax me the way baking does.

      • I see what you mean Kiddo. I make pie crust from scatch (lol, sounds much more impressive than it really is, doesn’t it?)–lard, flour, water. To me lard is the best to use because I tried with room temp. butter, and I could barely fit it over the pie plate–very hard to roll out. Anyway, I tried to experiment with the flavor of the crust/dough, because whenever I ate the pie, all I could taste was the lard. Apparently no one else in the house could. So I tried to swap out some flour for sugar/brown sugar….total disaster. Finally, many tries later, I decided to mix cinnamon, ginger, all spice, and VANILLA into the flour before adding the lard and water. PURE MAGIC–to borrow a phrase from GNAT. Better than fake babies.

I was so proud of myself. And then I started using self rising flour to make a thicker crust (because in my house, a pie can be eaten in less than a day, or two weeks), so that the pie filling wouldn’t soak through……I was a peacock for the rest of the day. But of course no one but ME noticed the difference in taste.

      • laura in LA says:

I love cooking and baking. And I can only imagine how great both could be in J&J’s big underused kitchen instead of my small apartment one.

But I thought it was eyebrows who made the carbonara, what made just-fine appear to have that baby bump? Oh, the lies…

    • Artemis says:

Even professional chefs often choose between cooking or baking. A lot of cooks can’t do both, which is why you find a kitchen to be filled with chefs specialising in their own discipline.

Baking is much much harder than cooking and ‘winging’ it might ruin your bakes as you have to know how to balance the ingredients. I prefer baking but that shit is hard!

    • chaser says:

Thank you. Cooking and baking ARE NOT the same thing.

My husband is an amazing cook but he can’t bake for shit. He isn’t interested in baking because you have to be so specific and it doesn’t suit his ‘inspired’ slap-dash way in the kitchen.

I, on the other hand, am a control freak and baking really suits me.

    • Coco says:

“When he commits to something…he really knocks it out of the park!”

Too bad he won’t commit to her…

  7. Say What!? says:

These interviews weren’t scheduled because she thought she would be nominated. They were scheduled because Cake opens on Jan 23rd.

    • cat1 says:

      thank you! good to know.

    • Ella12 says:

But the Hollywood Reporter is the type of magazine you go to for awards season. She was very sure a nomination was coming.

Cake is opening very limited & will prove that she cannot open a film by herself.

      • Bloorville says:

That’s been proven repeatedly over the last 10 years, all movies that are her’s with her name over the title – FLOP.

    • The Original G says:

Sorry, this article was in place for her nomination/career shift story. Good for her. Like I said before, I can’t fault an actor for showing ambition.

Cake’s opening is a total non-story. No one thinks it has box office or is important artistically.

    • Kim1 says:

If the interviews were to promote Cake than some of her co stars would be also be there.Cake is not Castaway.Aniston didn’t act in the movie alone.Link me to one tv interview she has done in the last two weeks with at least one of her co stars .When Annie was being promoted I saw Jamie Foxx, Cameron, the girl who played Annie ,etc
Also she repeated the #1 Snubbed line during ENews interview as well

      • Tarsha- says:

So how is it that people are still saying she was joking! Really? ENews, Ellen, this article, and I believe there were a couple of others. Its more clear now than ever before that she TRULY believes it.

      • Bloorville says:

They’re saying she was joking because she is never held accountable for anything – people, her fans or enablers are always making excuses, and conveniently forgetting her previous comments. Like for instance baking a cake – I recall when she lied to Oprah about that Obama change cake that John Mayer made, and he called her out on it later — and just a few weeks ago, she said it was Justin whose carbonara was so good. She also said she hated Greek food.

    • Josephine says:

It’s already been revealed that she had interviews set up to discuss her nomination. maybe everyone does it, but that information already circulated.

  8. DenG says:

She’s got about 48 hours until SAG awards voting ends. Keep truckin’, Aniston.

  9. LAK says:

I can cook just about anything. Can’t bake at all. Have tried and tried and tried, and it just doesn’t work for me.

Jen Aniston wants to be taken seriously…..so she gives an interview to an industry magazine dressed in tiny shorts, showcasing her legs.

    • The Original Mia says:

Thought the same thing. She could have worn a dress, anything, but she chooses to wear booty shorts. Same ol’ Jen.

    • Amy Tennant says:

I have to say, if I had Jen’s legs I’d wear the shortest skirts to work I could get away with. My goodness. I could shame Jen for a lot of things (and I agree with your point that maybe her look isn’t “on message”), but not those stems.

      • LAK says:

Amy Tennant: i’m not shaming her for her legs nor am I saying she can’t show them.

It’s the message she’s shilling. She wants to be taken seriously, but is falling back on lowest denominator imagery to be taken seriously.

She needs to have a chat with Reece Witherspoon about image management especially where one is wanting to change that image.

This looks like the cover of a fashion magazine – Instyle or Elle, or the pin up vanities page of vanity fair magazine. How does this image help directors see her as a serious actress? She looks like ‘the girl’.

      • The Original G says:

I agree LAK. She’s done a lot of good work trying to shift the industry’s perception of her. This seems to say she doesn’t have the commitment to follow through.

Her legs are great but she’s still aged out of rom-coms. Mid-life contemplations indeed.

      • Amy Tennant says:

LAK, I know, I understood your point and agree with it. I’m just expressing my appreciation for her legs while acknowledging her mixed message.

    • Emma - the JP Lover says:

@LAK, who wrote: “Jen Aniston wants to be taken seriously…..so she gives an interview to an industry magazine dressed in tiny shorts, showcasing her legs.”

I actually don’t think those ‘are’ shorts. They look like a lacy pair of underwear to me.

    • Elle Kaye says:

So, you should judge a woman based on how she is dressed? Isn’t that the mind-set of, “well, look at what she was wearing, she asked for it”

Would you say the same thing if it was Bradley Cooper shirtless?

      • Amy Tennant says:

To be fair, probably more than half of the posts on this blog are “judging people based on how they’re dressed.” No one is saying she deserves to be raped, of course. Just questioning if the way she has chosen to present herself (or someone chose it for her) is on-message with what seems to be her goal of being taken seriously as an actress. And yes, probably something similar would go for Bradley.

As far as whether she can show her legs freely, hell yeah she can. I even disagree with age-related criticism, because Tina Turner, Helen Mirren, etc. can do the same.

      • The Original G says:

@Elle-Kaye. Aniston sells her image professionally for money. No one is saying she “she asked for it.” And I would say the same thing about Bradley Cooper if he was in the midst of an image changing media blitz.

      • LAK says:

Elle Kaye: wow……cool your horses. we aren’t discussing sexuality, rape, merits of clothing as it relates to sexuality and societal attitudes.

We are discussing the image of someone who is saying they wish to be taken seriously and whether or not the chosen image works with said intention.

i’m not the kind of idjit who judges a woman’s dress as shorthand for her sexuality and what she chooses to do with it.

Perhaps you need to examine why you immediately jump to rape when a person’s clothing is criticised as inappropriate for the image they wish to project.

As someone wiser than me once said, you dress for the job you have or want.

  10. Paloma says:

You never know what the truth is with her; but, maybe that’s with all actors.

  11. paola says:

Don’t we know enough about Jennifer Aniston?!
She has released the same type of inteviews for the last two decades. i don’t dislike her.. but I think her PR team sucks. First they have her to say something and the next day they have her to say the opposite.
I’m sure she is not as boring as she seems.., but she comes across as really dull in interviws always talking about shallow things like her hair or what she eats.
Only interesting think she said in the last 20 years is that the Jen vs. Angelina rivarly is tiresome.

    • sug#1 says:

exactly…I rolled my eyes at this interview and sighed “not the carbonara & spanakopita again.

As for Jens THR cover she is was has and will be forever obsessed about her weight & appearance takes one to know one. 😕

  12. minx says:

LOL, I took it to mean his mother would be bummed if they got married, period.

  13. Miss Melissa says:

    Her spanakopita takes 5 hours?

She must be making the filo.

    • PunkyMomma says:

I refuse to believe she takes the time to make filo dough.

      • vauvert says:

I have to laugh… Right before Thanksgiving she was going on about the eight hours it takes her to cook spanakopita and dolmades (not that anyone considers that a meal, particularly for Thanksgiving… Those are just appetizers). When I called BS on that (I make both, learned to make them as a teen from my Greek grandma) someone got mad at me saying they are time consuming…. No, she’s full of it again! Even if you make the pastry it still does not take that long! You have to let the pastry rest between folding and rolling, and the cheese mix barely takes any time at all. But anyway, we are back to her struggles, the wedding talk… And yeah, “take me serious” Jen, first going braless a few nights ago in that ill fitting suit, now not bothering with pants or a skirt on the cover. There’s a time and a place to be showing skin, but apparently for her it is all the time.

      • Greek Chic says:

I think she didn’t mean that is takes her 5hours, it was an exaggeration to say that spanakopita is a time consuming food.

    • Cecada says:

Smoking the good sh*t while doing just about anything makes time fly. Just sayin’.

  14. The Original Mia says:

Good Lord…it just never ends. She really thought she was going to get that nomination.

I’ll say it again. If they wanted to be married, they would. See Cameron Diaz. Full Jewish wedding in her backyard. Jen is full of it.

    • Christin says:

Long ago, I guessed that they would probably not marry. Long engagement and lots of excuses. And here we are.

      • I think someone backed out in 2013. Remember, it was right after the Oscars, and Jennifer had the cover of PEOPLE, in her red dress and it was said that she was getting married in the spring. Spring came and went, no marriage, and then in the summer, another cover came out about how they put the wedding off because they were too busy. And the Dailymail said that PEOPLE scrapped a third cover for the wedding. Why go through all of that?

I just don’t see why they don’t just gt married. Clearly it’s not an engagement just to be engaged. She’s saying that they plan to get married. Just get married. I’m sure if htey eloped his mother might be disappointed, but you gotta get used to being disappointed. It’s your wedding. Do it how you want. I just see no point in an endless engagement when you both (purportedly) can’t wait to get married. Hot feet anyone?

    • laura in LA says:

      ^^This exactly.^^

I mean, in the time they’ve been engaged, how many other bigger, busier celeb couples have gotten married, either by having a surprise affair or just going to the JP?

So maybe Justin’s now stringing along Jen as he probably did Heidi…

  15. jamrock says:

If girl is operating like this even with a snub I don’t think I would want to see her if she was nominated..I mean she going hard on all these interviews

    • Tarsha- says:

OMG she would be absolutely insufferable.

    • Ella12 says:

Oh I know! If she had actually been nominated I am sure she would bring it up in every single interview for the rest of her career. She would think she was the queen of Hollywood.

      • Janet says:

I thought she’d be insufferable enough if she had actually been nominated but this is even worse. She’s preening like a queen for no reason.

    • Josephine says:

She would do best to drop back a little, play the humble card more, and make her self more scarce.

Has she learned nothing about over-exposure? She doesn’t have a new story to tell, and she would be so much more refreshing if she took the angle of *starting* to tackle more complex characters and growing into that skill. Instead, she wants the instant Oscar for her first real dalliance into a complex role. She’s starting to sound really entitled. The arrogance clashes with her carefully built girl next door image.

      • TC says:

Josephine — That’s my #1 problem with Aniston. She never shows any graciousness or humility about anything. Instead, it’s selfishness, arrogance, narcissism and ALWAYS somebody else’s fault. NEVER hers. She’s played the entitlement card for awhile now, but it’s been full court press throughout her entire awards campaign. Why hasn’t anyone pointed that out to her?!?! I guess because she surrounds herself with a stable of enablers. Gross.

  16. Ginger says:

OMG! Mother Eyebrow! I’m dying here.

  17. Green Eyes says:

Her entire poor me routine that is still being played out is why she will never be taken seriously. If she put as much time into her craft as she does the “always a victim” storylines she would be a worthy actress. Then again, maybe not & the poor Jen routine serves as a distraction to her fans. A huge distraction in hopes it keeps them from discovering the truth…sorry, but she really is just Rachel Green.

  18. micki says:

Well, she takes her time to think it over from every possible direction.
I have to Google his father and if he has something to say.
And then move to his cousins.

  19. Dee says:

Say what you want, the girl looks fabulous.

  20. scout says:

After she told this to EVERYBODY now, his mom is ready to bitch-slap Jen, I am sure.
Gosh woman, have some verbal control and respect JT’s family! Win them over first and then you can have what you want, easier that way.

  21. Lilacflowers says:

His mom would be bummed if they eloped but is happy with a never ending engagement

  22. ClaireB says:

What kind of a title is that? Isn’t it more suited for, I don’t know, Elle or something magazine? But i’m not familiar with the publication, is this aways that type of angle?

  23. Tarsha- says:

Would she PLEASE stop talking about the wedding that neither of them intend on having?

    • kendra says:

True, the woman is soon to be 46 and Justin is 43 and they are talking about his mother will not like it if they elope. I sure his mother would be so happy someone is marrying, this strange little man.

      • Tarsha- says:

” I’m sure his mother would be so happy someone is marrying this strange little man. ”
        Lol, SO TRUE!!

  24. Isa says:

Why is she sitting on a block with no pants on? But she remembered to put on her heels.

I read that dish as spanktopia. Never heard of it before.

  25. Reed says:

Can someone please explain to me why she thinks she was snubbed when Cake is at 33% on rotten tomatoes?
By doing this, isn’t she annoying the AMPAS?

    • Cecada says:

More like threatening them. Nobody wants to “snub” America’s Sweetheart, right? She won’t ever shut the hell up about it. Nominate me, or else I’ll go cry to every rag there is!

      • truthSF says:

Yeah, but that kind of threat would only work if she had the audience to back her up and give her film(s) a Cint’s American Sniper size opening. Considering all of her movies (outside of ensembles and/or bigger leading man) bombs, she has no room to be threatening AMPAS. Once her movie opens and dies quickly at the box office, she will go back to obscurity.

      • Camille (The Original) says:

@truthSF – if only! I guess one can only hope…

    • Cecilia says:

Wait, what? How can that be – damn I thought the release date was January 23rd and had hoped to see it as soon as it was released. Darn!

    • Bloorville says:

I think the AMPAS was annoyed that she stalked the Jolie Pitts in 2009 to the Oscar ceremony they were nominated at, and brought the tabloid circus to bear on all the other nominees….I think the AMPAS was annoyed when she gave an exclusive to People Magazine 2 years ago about the Wedding (that she continues to not have 3 years later) which hijacked their Oscar coverage (because what could be MORE important than Jen getting her Brangelina revenge happily ever after with someone/anyone!) They are now triple-y annoyed that Aniston is not gracious, or graceful in not being nom’d and instead is making this ramp up to award season all about her….by promoting her movie in it’s 3 theaters.

She’s beyond shameful, and desperate — but then she always has been.

  26. danielle says:

I suppose I could bake a cake, but have no desire to do so. I like to cook, but baking is so precise, and I’m not a big sweets person.

  27. Toot says:

Yep, knew she wasn’t joking about her ” #1 snub” comment. She really is completely self centered.

I don’t remember any other actor ever talking this much about not being nominated.

  28. Anon says:

Why does Jen always make out like she’s a crying-falling apart mess and everyone (the world!) is concerned and shocked!…..and then, the magazines have to swoop in and declare that “Jen is fine!, people.”….blah, blah. Get some new moves, Jen, and put your pants on.
No wonder that video exists of her thanking Pitt for “Holding me together, man!” No wonder Pitt took off, as did many others.

  29. Janet says:

So now mommy is the excuse why they can’t get married? You’re a big girl, Jen, and Justin is a big boy. If you don’t want to get married, fine, but FFS start taking responsibility for your own decisions. You’re too old for this sh*t.

  30. anne_000 says:

    This marriage story is ridiculous.

Imo, Jennifer doesn’t want to marry because that would remove her from the imaginary love triangle she’s been using all these years to promote herself to the media.

Justin doesn’t want to marry anybody and settle down because he’s so into seeming like he’s too cool and hip in his own mind.

  31. lisa2 says:

Didn’t she go on Oprah and talk about making a cake for John Mayer?
Oh she lied about that because he later said he made the cake.. silly really.

but maybe by Monday the Oscar Snub/Cake promotion will be done. I’m sure her fans will be rushing to the theater to see the film. Wonder if they are going to “walk out” like they do when viewing films of other actors. Or maybe we will get the report of all the other people in the theater that walked out.

    • Camille (The Original) says:

No, we will get raves about her ‘amazing performance’ I am sure. *eye roll*

  32. kendra says:

Let’s see the many reasons Jennifer and Justin can not get married, they were working on the new house, they were to busy working, they can not decide to have a big wedding or small wedding, now it’s Justin’s mother. [ roll eyes] something is so wrong with these two.

    • Toot says:

Yep, Cameron D just showed that if they wanted to get married it can happen and have family/friends there. Cameron stays working, so Jen and Justin are just full of it.

  33. Charlotte_ says:

She was nominated for the globes the SAG and critics i guess, she didnt win anything. If she did win a globe or a SAG, then you couldd say she was snubbed. She again, runs aound and covers the poor me. She has no dignity. Its all about her her and her. Its true what they say about most actors, they are huge narcists! Me-centered humans.

  34. Jayna says:

Code for, we’ll get married when I either agree to a higher pre-nup settlement for Justin or he agrees to my much lower pre-nup terms.

  35. Pandy says:

I like the suit but it’s flattening out her boobs. Not the best look.

  36. Kim1 says:

I am looking forward to reading about her “Bigger Purpose”
    What could it be?

  37. Lucky Charm says:

Now she’s talking elopement? Two weeks ago she just said that getting married in secret wouldn’t be any fun because it would be like hiding in a cave somewhere! Listen, Jennifer, IT IS ENTIRELY POSSIBLE TO HAVE A PRIVATE CEREMONY WITHOUT ELOPING. People do it every single day without half the resources she has, and yet they seem to manage it just fine.

I’ve heard of his mother before, there were even pictures of them together in NYC a couple years ago. But this is the first I’ve ever heard about her dyslexia. Amazing how convenient dead ex boyfriends and dyslexia are when campaigning hard for an Oscar!

    • Bloorville says:

It turns out that picture was not of Justin and Aniston’s Moms. Someone dug up a pic of Theroux’s Mom and she looked nothing like either of the women. Also, Aniston’s Mom is pictured on the cover of that book she wrote – so it obviously wasn’t her either.

Don’t know how or why that pic went around the world like that – I guess her poor supporters were just so eager that she had landed a fiance, and maybe to them the moms possibly lunching with the bride and groom seemed to be ramping up to a wedding?? Who knows? Or it could have been her PR flack’s tricks. He’s known for that kind of thing.

It turns out one of the ladies was a realtor not too older than Jen, the other was a stranger. Aniston’s mom lives in phoenix and has had health issues, she’s in her 80s. Those women pictured, well let’s just say if they were even early 60s I’d be surprised.

  38. Eleonor says:

    I like the cover.
    That’s all I’ve got.

  39. Who ARE these people? says:

His mother may be more likely to have been bummed that her son manages to spend years and years with the same women without marrying them. And really, at this point, his mom is probably over it. Or whatever.

In any case, she shouldn’t blame the non-marriage on him. She probably is happy knowing she’s with someone who doesn’t really want to get married. Saves her from having to admit it about herself.

Do whatever you want in life, but don’t blame other people for your choices, especially if there is nothing wrong with your choices.

  40. Anastasia says:

She’s worth over $110 million. He’s worth some figure far above “needs to work” but probably lower than hers.

They’ve been engaged for THREE YEARS this August.

There’s absolutely no reason why they shouldn’t have gotten married by now if they both wanted to. Someone doesn’t want to finalize this deal. My guess is it’s The Eyebrow.

    • Charlotte_ says:

My guess is that this whole engagemt thing was not cause justin wanted that, she wanted do outshine brangelina who got engaged just a fee motnh befor them. She is over brad of course but shes not over them as a powercouple. I think she said to justin, lets do this for the attention but we’re not going to get married the next few years. And he is willing to play that game with her, you can saw it from the beginnig. He is a relationship guy as you know with his 14 year relationship with heidi. Of course he woulf marryy her shes worth 100+ millon $ and shes not unattractive. No a lister actor wanted to be with her because of the tabloids, this could damage any carrer of an actor if it wouldnt last cause jen would be again the poor women and the guy would be the idiot. Brad got away with it cause he is the brad pitt and i guess he regrets this marriage badly. Not because of her but because of everything that happend after the divorce which she mainly directed.

  41. The Original G says:

That full interview is available online. She actually sounds like quite a sad person.

    http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/jennifer-aniston-reveals-struggles-dyslexia-764854

    • After reading that–I no longer believe her “let’s get rid of the BS triangle rumors” crap. At least that it’s genuine. Like five paragraphs in–there’s this: “But Aniston’s enduring appeal is rooted in the very fact that she can be hurt, again and again — whether by the Oscars or the Sexiest Man Alive — and she’ll endure.”…SERIOUSLY? OMFG.

Everyone, listen to LAK. She has COPY APPROVAL. She approves this shit to come out.
I was glad (although a little snarky, lol) that she was making her career shift, and moving into a more serious career phase (like maybe going into directing!!!) but give me a break.

This shit is tired and old AND SHE IS THE ONE FURTHERING IT. Not Brad. Not Angelina. She is. This is the freaking Hollywood Reporter, her first cover with them (a serious industry mag, in view of her Oscar vying), as far as I know, and she approves this crap? Good Lord.
      *bangs head repeatedly on wood*

      • Maya says:

Right on VG. Here in her own words she says she is passive aggressive, talking crap about her mother and even pushes the whole dumped by the sexiest man alive.

Seriously Jennifer is becoming more and more delusional and desperate to hold on to her fame.

I am still yet to see what her next move is regarding her career.

PS: another lie about how she met Justin. When will she tell the truth and when will the media call her out on the constant lying?

      • Kim1 says:

        POOR JEN
        #1 Snubbed

      • CLEA says:

Virginia, great post and you spoke for me.
I was snarky too lol—(on that light emotional level we have for this `sport`:-)
but I had to give her props for shifting the so-called Team narrative to one of
        `all is forgiven—life goes on—lets focus on our strengths……..

until once again the woman shows that she has a bewildering core sensibility.

She obviously wants to be liked (don`t they all—-even seemingly tough cookie Angie)— but in her zeal to be `humble, just like us, just livin`her life and isn`t she`our fabulous yet humble` Jen—she mixes up her talking points (I will have a baby!!—–who dares pry into my womb re having babies!!!!—–now back to I am trying, folks, keep those good thoughts for me coming!!!!)

And yet her ardent supporters seem to bend and make sense of her nonsense.

    • And I *loved* (said rather snarkily, if I may add) this part of the interview, which she spoke about her divorce: “We’re not in daily communication,” she says. “But we wish nothing but wonderful things for each other. Nobody did anything wrong. You know what I mean? It was just like, sometimes things [happen]”……how are the crazy fans (none of my fellow Celebitches) gonna parse this?

      Cough.

      • The Original G says:

        Oh and this…..
“As to kids: “Listen,” she continues, “that’s a topic that’s so exhausted. I get nervous around that, just because it’s very personal. Who knows if it’s going to happen? It’s been a want. We’re doing our best.”

It’s more of the same. But I’m really struck by how sad she feels her life has been. Really. I had no idea she felt so wounded by so many things. She has so much going for her. Interesting.

      • Bloorville says:

Agreed. She seems unwell. I’m not saying that just to get a dig in either.

      • CLEA says:

        Oh my they do try.
Check out Dlisted—(I know, I know!) but a few brave souls are trying to point out the hypocrisy of this interview and how its Jen as usual stirring up the pot yet again.
There seems to be a few balancing out the curious Jenhen-like infiltration of that otherwise wonderfully irreverent universe.
Methinks you can`t fool all the people all of the time, Ms JA

    • Emma - the JP Lover says:

      @The Original G …

Thanks for the link, I just finished reading the article. I swear, except for the dyslexia, it reads just like her “The Unsinkable Jennifer Aniston” 2005 Vanity Fair interview. She hit all the relevant points, too: her divorce from Brad Pitt, dealing with anger, seeing a therapist so she can feel good about being angry, finally finding peace with her mother (and yet still holding onto passive-aggressive anger in blaming her mother for her own–what seems like deep-seated–insecurities), and how she handles anger. In 2005 her way to handle anger was to scream at the Ocean. Today it’s 20-minutes of yoga.

She talks about everyone being an adult and tired of the triangle thing that was SO long ago … so over it. But in the next breath she talks about needing therapy to handle her anger, which became a ‘big’ problem during that ‘crazy time when they got divorced.’ Unbelievable.

I have a question about the dyslexia. I’m not saying she doesn’t have it, but if she had that much trouble ‘retaining anything’ during school wouldn’t they have tested her for it? It’s not like she went to Public Schools and somehow fell through the cracks (there’s a picture of her and Chastity Bono in high school together, and I know Chasity didn’t go to Public School). She went to schools where the Educators were paid well to notice things like the symptoms of dyslexia. How did she retain those scripts for auditions ‘before’ she was tested for dyslexia? Quite honestly, I didn’t realize dyslexia was about not being able to retain anything. I thought it was about having difficulty reading because the words seem to rearrange themselves on the page. But perhaps I’m wrong. If so, my apologies.

P.S. I was right … Jen ‘is’ wearing underwear above, not shorts. In another picture at the interview site she is wearing lingerie under a coat.

      • Jayna says:

I thought the interview was fine, nothing groudbreaking, but a few nuggets I hadn’t read before.

But one thing I didn’t like is if she and her mother are doing okay again, I thought her remarks regarding her mother were overly harsh, even though probably true. I have friends who have mothers like Jen’s and I know how they feel, and it is very similar to Jen. But her mother did have a stroke, is older, and they are not estranged anymore. For those reasons, I found her remarks harsh and didn’t have to be so detailed.

I understand the passive-aggressive remark. Many people struggle with anger and deal with it in such a passive-aggressive way that is not healthy. My friend never got angry, but you would know she was after a while by her very distant passive-aggressive way of showing it. She married a very vocal Italian attorney. She wasn’t used to such an outwardly show of anger, not mean at all, but he would show it. One day they were driving in a car and he was angry about something (not at her) and really expressing it vocally and she said it made her physically sick, she wasn’t used to loud and expressive anger. She laughed about it years later and said marrying him was the best thing for her. It forced her to be more vocal about what bothered her instead of stifling it and then it coming out in other ways and she was calming for him. So they balanced each other out.

      • The Original G says:

@Emma. I am completely perplexed that she used this interview to air out her mother, her insecurities about her appearance, her divorce, the triangle, her therapy, her engagement and her parental status.

This really is her moment to shatter those tropes and talk about her vision for future projects and where she sees herself expanding in the industry. And she didn’t take it.

      • @Orig. G
Good point. A few weeks ago, it seemed that she was going to move forward, and not fall back on her old interview topics–in a bid to be taken more seriously as an actress. Now it seems like she’s not going that way anymore.

    • someone says:

She brought up babies TWICE in the interview. So much for letting the baby talk die down:

      1. As to kids: “Listen,” she continues, “that’s a topic that’s so exhausted. I get nervous around that, just because it’s very personal. Who knows if it’s going to happen? It’s been a want. We’re doing our best.”

      2. “There’s something bigger I’m interested in doing,” she says. “It could be more work, it could be more creativity, or getting more philanthropic in the world. It can look like a baby.”

  42. Nuzzybear says:

Spanakopita is not complicated at all unless you’re making the fillo dough yourself, which I’m pretty sure she doesn’t – and nobody’s Grandma would take 5 hours to make it.

  43. serena says:

Mother Eyebrow LMAO. What about mother Guyliner?

She should learn how to bake, you know if her movie won’t go well at least she’d have somekind of #Cake.

  44. Jayna says:

I could be wrong, and I hope I am. I like Jen.

BUT I remember how she and John Mayer stayed together during the Oscar presentation she did and Oscar parties and presented a solid couple, and then they broke up very soon after.

I feel like she is definitely over Brad and has been forever. BUT I think Brangelina just got married a few months ago and potentially they were going to be at awards shows and all that scrutiny that goes along with it and all the comparisons were going to be exhausting about her relationship. And Jen was out there campaigning for an Oscar. I think their relationship has waned, but they agreed to play up the love and still going strong for the award season. And they will never marry and have no plans to anymore or the talk is off the table, and that ultimately, the relationship will completely fizzle later this year sometime, summer or something.

I hope I am wrong and they are really happy and still, whether they marry or not. But this is just a scenario in my mind.

    • I agree Jayna. I certainly don’t fault her for any hurt feelings after her divorce, or not wanting to run into Brad and Angelina, when she’s single, and knows what the story’s going to be……I get that.

But I definitely never, ever got true lurve vibes from her and Justin. Take away from whether or not you think Justin cheated on his girlfriend with Jennifer–which I do, I don’t think you do. These two have never really seemed in sync together to me. Ever. The minute they started dating, they started wearing those tacky gold name rings, and Justin moved to LA, and basically followed Jennifer around doing nothing–I know he wasn’t writing the Zoolander 2 script. He got super metrosexual–tanned, mascara/guyliner. And then the minute he found a job, he was back in NYC, full time. Going back to LA for red carpet events with Jennifer i.e. playing the happy couple for the camera. Then back in NYC a few days later (I actually would look at his fansites a day or two after pics of the two of them hit CB to see, lol…sound like a stalker).

And none of that, to me, spells out any sort of love. Every time I see them, I’m reminded of my neighbor, Mr. C who is 92, and spends an hour driving (to and from) to the nursing home that his wife is in…and he does it twice a day. Every day. That’s true love right there. I remember one of the last things he told me, right after she went in for her cracked hip, was that he wanted her to come home so he could take care of her.

So, you know, maybe she’s happy with having a casual boyfriend–but she shot herself in the foot with the engagement, and talking about wedding plans…if all she wanted was something casual. There’s nothing wrong with that. But she talks like they live in the same state, the same house all the time, like any other couple, when they’re really not.

      • Jayna says:

I think he cheated. I have said on here Jennifer had a huge spread in Architectural Digest of her new home she renovated for several years. She was carrying on how much she loved it. I remember reading the story and looking at the photos of her home. So I was beyond confused when just a few months later puts the house on the market, she up and moves to New York, and says she needs a change. It made absolutely no sense to me, none. It certainly made sense later when the rumors came out about their relationship and I realized she had just finished the movie with him when she moved or around the same time. And then they release that Terry Richardson photo of them soon after he moves out.

Of course, they developed some type of relationship and I have no doubt they had slept together at some point before he left his girlfriend. But Jen moved there to keep whatever their connection was they had from the movie building and be this edgy New York girl. She got him. Then he seems all happy to go back to Hollywood with her and be part of that crowd and seemed happy being part of a high profile couple.

I do believe she fell madly in love with him. I think she loves him more than she loved Brad or at least felt more fulfilled in some way. I just think this last year the relationship has dulled down, probably on his part, and maybe by now they’ve worked through it, maybe not. We’ll see.

      • Dagmarunger says:

That’s why she can’t have a baby because whenever she is ovulating he’s in NYC.

  45. Kathy says:

What a liar this woman is. I thought she claimed to bake a cake for a celebration party when Obama won? And now she has dyslexia?????? WTF! Her fans all claim she was the driving force behind PLAN B and getting the rights to “A Mighty Heart”. Did someone read the script for “Cake” to her???? She was so enthralled by it after all …. she just a had to get the role. Un****ingbelievable that his woman gets a pass constantly for all of her lies. And for ****sake her grandmother Annistonapolus lived in GREECE … Jennifer was only around her for one year of her life when she was 5 years old. She actually lived with Her Mother’s mom and doesn’t mention her at all. I love how she trashes her mom all the time. A woman who raised her single-handedly for ten years after John abandoned them

  46. EM says:

Someone needs to tell her that she didn’t get the Oscar nomination, so she can stop talking now. As for the ‘will she or won’t she’ marry, this is a question that is ridiculous. I find it hard to believe that people her age have no clue or the means to get married if they want to.

Getting “dumped” by the Oscar nominating committee: “I know a lot of people were sorry. I feel I’ve gotten such wonderful love.”

Getting dumped by Brad Pitt: “I was shocked! The WORLD was shocked!”

After ten years, she still hasn’t learned a damn thing.

    • maggie says:

And you’re still following her. She can’t be that boring!

      • TC says:

No, she’s not boring at all. She’s comedy gold. All she has to do is open her mouth and the shite flies. It’s really quite enjoyable.

  48. kendra says:

Jennifer had some serious issues, like bat sh!t crazy issues. Jennifer has been in therapy for 20 years and this is what she is. WTF

  49. Marshmellow says:

Thanks for posting the article! My favorite part was when the reporter said JA called herself the number one snubbed, but that the honor really belonged to Ava – finally someone who called her out if only a little.

  50. Greta says:

Any bland, middle-aged lady who gets 155 comments on these threads consistently is equally as brilliant at showbiz as Angelina J. Brad sure has a type: Goopy, JustJen, Angie–children of Hollywood stars who know how to stay in the spotlight eternally. If fame, power, wealth, work is their goal, they are all successes. Eyebrow knew what Jen could give him. Can they love another person as much as their careers? I wonder.

  51. Amy says:

Well Justin had to come from somewhere didn’t he? Haha of course he has a mom! He didn’t just pop out of nowhere.

  52. CLEA says:

Apologies if anyone else has already mentioned this but if not WTF is Jen doing blatantly copying a very original—and very recent Angelina pose for Interview magazine.

    • Jayna says:

Jen has been doing these types of poses for years. Many actresses have done similar poses. Come on. Silly comparison.

  53. laura in LA says:

Jen is JUST FINE, everyone! No need to worry, go back to whatever more important things you were doing…

And I’m sure she’ll keep us apprised of when she finds her higher purpose.

I thought the comments about her mother were TMI and somewhat disrespectful. The world already knew that you did not get along with her mother BUT to describe your mother’s character flaws to a random interviewer ? Why?????

People are going to read this. I did not read anything positive about her mother. I am left thinking her mother is an ass. We will never know Nancy so why put her out there like that?

How can you say you are in a good place with your Mom then share shitty examples of where she hurt your feelings? If you have moved on why are you bringing it up?

Aniston has MANY issues: doesn’t like flying, motorcycles, or water, not comfortable traveling to new places, avoids being confrontational but is passive-aggressive, avoids showing anger but has a potty-mouth, says she is forgiving but has BFF Chelsea spitting out all her anger/venom for her, gets angry with directors yet doesn’t think they are aware of it and has never connected the dots of her shut out with the industry when it comes to preference for roles, would rather believe she was snubbed rather than think there is room for improvement in her acting skills or consider that the other actresses gave a more outstanding performance, wants you to STOP talking about baby-gate but SHE gives the subject a new birth in this interview, says she is very forgiving yet can be found in GQ (“Consider the source”) and Vogue magazine (“Uncool”) reacting unfavorably to gossip about her ex-husband’s wife , etc., etc., etc.

    • Jayna says:

I thought the mother thing was awful, too. She’s said it all before years ago when they were estranged. They aren’t estranged anymore. Her mother is 78 years old and had a stroke years ago. And like you said, she didn’t say one nice thing about her in the interview; to the contrary, just speaking negatively of her. Even if they aren’t real close, she is her mother, and there was no point and very hurtful.
