Here are some photos of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West out and about in London today. Is it just me or is this the most flattering dress Kim has worn in MONTHS? Look at it! She looks thin and tall, which is always her goal. Body parts aren’t falling out. She’s covered up and yet we can still see her figure. She should buy this in every color!!! As for Kanye… I guess that’s in style now? Moth-eaten sweaters and cowboy boots, y’all. Now you know.
I don’t have much to add here – Kim and Kanye were out in London last night for the BRIT Awards (he performed and she presented). Afterwards, they went out partying and now here they are, leaving the Dorchester. North West did not make this trip – I saw the photos of Kim flying out of LAX and arriving at Heathrow and North was left at home in LA. This week’s National Enquirer says that North is always crying around her parents because… North has no idea who they are. A source says:
“Kim leaves Nori with a nanny a lot, so she isn’t used to this much time alone with mommy and daddy. It’s obvious Nori’s way more comfortable with the nanny than with Kim and Kanye. She cries wherever they go. It’s obvious Nori doesn’t want to be there.”
So because North cried the entire way through New York Fashion Week, that means she didn’t get to come to London? Wow. Oh, and Kim posted some photos from last night on her social media. Why is she licking him?!

I find with Kim that she tries to be fashionable & almost makes it but just misses the mark most of the time. I think her outfit would have been much nicer had the skirt been a bit longer. From the waist up she looks cute though, the hair is good too. I’m not a fan of Kanye’s ripped sweater. It’s probably worth as much as a car but it looks like moths got at it.
As for North, I don’t doubt for a second that the NE story is true. She always looks miserable with her parents. Poor kid. Kourtenay seems to be the only good parent in the group.
Can’t stand either one of them but am trying to find something positive to say.
It’s sad that these are the celebrity icons “of the moment.” As for North West , she is obviously an accessory. Just think of the “mommy dearest” book she’ll be able to pen. Sad

There are actually recent photos of Nori and Kim at the snow with Kim’s family and Nori is smiling and laughing. At one point she’s climbed out of her highchair in a restaurant and Kim (who is next to her) is leaning over, supporting her so she doesn’t fall, and smiling as Nori laughs her head off. Very cute. Obviously taken by another customer in the restaurant on the sly. Then photos of them walking around in the snow that are cute too.
No, I don’t think Kim is a natural parent. Yes, she could definitely spend more time with her (and Kanye even more so!); but I don’t think it’s as dire as this article paints it to be.
those ‘candid’ pics of North and kim in Montana are from their professional paparazzi. Kim knew cameras were watching and acted accordingly.
She doesn’t actually always look miserable with her parents lol there’s plenty of pictures of her laughing and smiling with Kim and Kanye, the bigger sites just don’t post them. And a lot of the time she looks miserable and is frowning because of the sheer amount of paparazzi following them. There’s some videos on YouTube and it’s kind of scary tbh

I do not feel sorry for Kanye or Kim the one I feel truly sorry for is Nori. The little one is always with her nanny and she is seeing the nanny as mom. When she is with Kim And Kanye that’s when she starts crying. She is never around them long enough to see them as her parents.

I wish people would stop with the nanny $h&t. Unless their daughter literally never sees them, this is some sexist BS. I don’t think people would ever say the same thing about a high-powered businessman, who is traveling for work half the month and only sees the kids for an hour a day and on weekends. If parents are reasonably good and affectionate, kids know who they are and love them. I would imagine this is more about paparazzi and being places a kid really shouldn’t be (e.g. late night fashion shows) which I think is a more valid criticism.
How is it sexist if the article states that North barely sees EITHER of them? It’s placing the blame on both parents, not just one. In the past there have been articles that solely blame Kim, however, in this one it isn’t the case. And it doesn’t really matter what you’re occupation is in my eyes, if you are so disconnected from your child and only focus your energy on work, maybe you shouldn’t have a kid at all. Nanny or not you can still be connected to your kid.

Because most of the articles and comments on Celebitchy love to gloat about how uncomfortable Nori looks with Kim, and there is a long-running theme about how she must only see her nannies. Posting that Enquirer excerpt is part of that context. I believe that most of it comes from dislike of Kim, rather than hatred of people who employ child care, but I still think it is a problematic way to go about bashing her – implying that someone who relies on nannies to work, or “work” in this case, are somehow failing their children in a fundamental way. Most of it is in fun, but maybe we can step back from the photo assumption a bit.
I feel bad for this baby. I have often thought neither parent gave much thought to how they would rear the child before conceiving one. Poor Nori, treated like an accessory for photo ops then forgotten.
And she’s at an age where preferring the nanny is fairly common. Google prefer the nanny –happens all the time to working parents. It does feel like too easy a shot at them.

Both my sister -laws have nannies and not any of their kids prefers the nanny, just the opposite because they are not with them during the day , the minute they get home the kids all over them , wanting all their attention.
Actually feel sorry for them sometimes , they don’t get a minute for themselves first hour they’re home and when either go on a trip for work , their kids always wanting to call them , even to talk to them for a minute , as long as they have contact
The problem goes deeper than Kim and Kanye just being away a lot on business. Kim really doesn’t seem to know Nori very well. And Nori simply acts as though Kim is an occasional visitor, not someone she goes to for comfort. Regular people will have the same problem if away a lot during the very early years, especially since babies and toddlers bond to those who take care of them. Kim once went on and on about how her favorite time with Nori was watching her sleep… That really isn’t going to help Nori bond to Kim. Kim’s own words and actions make it clear that she doesn’t have much experience with the child and is just annoyed that Nori isn’t joining in with the poses. At one point, I think Kim started spending more time in the same vicinity as Nori to get the baby used to her, but not really doing anything with her unless a camera was visible. Remember the candid video somebody caught? Kim briefly held the kid but then handed her back to the nanny. All Kim was doing was lounging around in the sun. Just look at pics of other celebs (or anybody) with their children- we never see that level of comfort and real interaction between Kim and Nori. Kim posts endless photos of herself, if she had any real pictures of normal interactions with the kid (not just with the kid pushing away from her and smiling at someone off camera), we would have seen them by now.
Kim just seems so damaged, I don’t think she’s able to bond with her daughter. Kim also may seriously resent the little girl, who is now a real little person and not a doll and doesn’t cooperate with Kim’s fantasies in front of the camera. (Towel baby was so much easier.) And yet Kim feels obliged to drag the kid along to give a normal appearance. Maybe things will be different when Nori is older and can be bribed.

Yes, it’s from Kanye’s ridiculous collection for Adidas. Most reviews from actual fashion industry people [not fashion bloggers/Kanye fans], have ranged from lukewarm to scathing, and rightly so. I saw the collection and it’s a joke.

That get up, for a stroll around London in February, is quite demented. Perhaps indoors, at an evening awards show, but for ‘civilian’ purposes it’s certifiable.
Of course, it’s all a matter of taste, and I dislike this dress myself, but I guess for KK it’s tantamount to a staid coverup.

It is an okay look but she should NOT be getting this much press anyway. Klownye looks like a skid row bum and the press is there for him and not her. And that is a sad thing as well. When will this insanity stop? She is what she is and the only talent needed is a pushy mother and having no shame.
SHe does look nice here….except I’m not a fan of the shoes. I was going to contemplate what shoes I would have put with the outfit, but then I realized since she wasn’t showing her lady bits she needed something to look naked, hence the shoes. With that realization, I went and reorganized my sock drawer.
NOT to compare the couples in any way other than this….Brad & Angie’s crew of kids appear comfortable with them and I’m sure they have a boatload of nanny’s. And their business, social and charitable lifestyles must be insane. You have to want to make it work. I think the difference is having the child fit comfortably into a parents life. Are so short turnaround, long commercial flights necessary for this mega rich couple who can fly private? Isn’t there a calendar secretary available? Is it wise to bring North on tiring nights, front and center at adult events, with loud voices, music and paparazzi flashing? I’m sure they are adoring parents but touting your child as an accessory to might not be the best way. Take the nanny with you then – we all know you have them.
