Suki Waterhouse loves having pimples, names them ‘Trevor & Tortola’

Suki Waterhouse

Last year, Suki Waterhouse complained to The Guardian that “actors take all the modeling jobs and magazine covers.” She may have had a point. Suki swiftly transformed herself into a legit actress and is scoring magazine covers all over the place. She did grace the April cover of Vogue in a model capacity. But this April cover of Lucky mag is different because she’s promoting a small role in Insurgent. She plays Dauntless member Marlene, who is absurdly happy in the face of danger.

Lucky released one excerpt so far from their interview, and it’s a doozy. Suki names her pimples. She raved, “If I have a spot, I name the spot. I introduce it to my friends on a night out. If my friend has a spot, I ask them if I can borrow it. ‘Can I pleaaaase borrow it? I really want it.’ You have to own your spots. Show them off. I’ve had some great spots — I named one Greg; another one was Trevor. Tortola was a good one.” Wow. Suki suddenly seems much younger than her 23 years. I have no idea what she and Bradley Cooper talk about, but it can’t be pimples.

Suki also features in the April issue of GQ. They describe her as model, actress, and BCoop’s girlfriend. She takes much of her clothing off because that’s how GQ rolls. You can see the shoot here. I never saw her as an incredible model, but pose-harding with an atomic wedgie takes talent. No model should ever have to do that.

GQ describes Suki as “homecoming-queen hot” and “Hollywood’s next bro-down girl.” In the brief interview, Suki dishes on her awesome karate skills. She brags about beating up a childhood friend to the point of a knocked-out tooth and “snapped” Achilles tendon. Suki then laughs, “Isn’t that disgusting?” Ummm. How are we just finding out about Suki’s bizarre personality? She kept it under wraps, and now it’s just out there.

A box of pop corn’s interview would be more interesting

The fact that she’s Cooper’s girlfriend says much against Cooper

    • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

I cringed. How old is she again? She sounds like his daughter, not his girlfriend.

      • Liv says:

Exactly what he said about Lawrence. I’m still convinced that this is a PR-relationship orchestrated by Harvey Weinstein. Everything else doesn’t make sense.

  2. Kara says:

I don’t get it. Any of it.

  3. Kaley says:

….So she has rich/ famous parents right?

  4. Franca says:

Can we please have an it girl that can actually act and isn’t incredibly annoying? Emma Stone can’t be the only one.

  5. Loulou says:

Only a girl with no skin problems remembers the two/three pimples she’s had in her life. Thanks for rubbing it in, Suki.

    • Greek Chic says:

Agree.. I am 28 and I still have skin problems.
I’ve had many spots, I couldn’t name them all!

    • OriginalTessa says:

Right? I’d have to crack open the baby naming guide to come up with original names for every pimple I’ve ever had. It has to be in the thousands. She seems like she’s had a handful at best.

    • Msmlnp says:

So few she wants to “borrow” her friends “spots” apparently.

  6. Gemma says:

LOL She isn’t an it girl

  7. Elisa the I. says:

She looks a lot like Hillary Duff. That’s all I’ve got. 😛

  8. Lucy2 says:

She sounds like she’s about 13. Ew.

  9. Lb says:

I always just remember that terrible photo op of her and Bradley in Paris reading Lolita together. Bradley looked like her dad trying to teach her the classics. I’m still giggling about it.

  10. LAK says:

I’m sure I’m going to regret asking, but what is a ‘bro-down girl’?

    • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

I tried to look it up for you, but I still don’t know – a bro-down is apparently a boys night out with beer pong and country music and ketchup and bro stuff. I guess a girl who is up for this is a bro-down girl? But I could be wrong.

      • Esmom says:

Ketchup, lol. Good sleuthing, GoodNames. Now if I ever hear the words “bro-down” out of either of my sons’ mouths, I’ll know I seriously went wrong somewhere.

      • LAK says:

GNAT: the ketchup is the clincher? LOL that’s so funny 🙂

OK: i’m so ‘get off my lawn’ too these days.

M.A.F: right there with you too.

      • oneshot says:

        GNAT – Ketchup?!

but yeah they make her sound like the textbook definition of ‘cool girl’ from Gone Girl. And it certainly sounds like she tries to be one.

    • TheOriginalKitten says:

I don’t wanna learn these things, I like being old, and get off my lawn.

    • M.A.F. says:

I just assumed anything with the word “down” and “girl” has to do with sex.

And I, too, like feeling old. Kids these day.

    • ell says:

the cool girl all men want. ew.

  11. magpie says:

This couple completely confuses me. She looks and acts 13 not 23 and he used to date women his age. The only thing I can think is that he likes that she is at his constant disposition. That’s all I got. At any rate they gross me out big time. And it’s not an age thing because I’m not against all relationships with big gaps. It’s a power/control thing.

    • Artemis says:

In this case, age is definitely a thing since she acts even younger than she is. She sounds like I did when I was like, 14. Annoying as hell 🙂

I think Leo ruined him when it came to relationships. When they started hanging out a lot, he took a model gf, just like many of Leo’s new friends do. He’s such a crappy influence BUT there must have been something in those men that made them susceptible to changing their dating ways. It’s skeeves me out that none of the gfs of those men are older than 25. So gross, damn…

      • qwerty says:

Let’s not forget what he said about the rumour he was dating J.Law 2 years ago:
‘Not even close. First of all, I could be her father’ …

    • ell says:

but his ex wife described him as horrible, it’s not exactly surprising he eventually started dating empty heads.

      • Melanie says:

She talked about her relationship with him years ago. No one knows if he’s still a bad guy.

  12. Shahrizai says:

I don’t really see her appeal. In fact, I find her hard to pick out with all the other blonde models who are trying to get into acting and dating older movie dudes. And I agree with everyone else… she sounds much younger than 23, though I remember being pretty vapid at 23.

    • Artemis says:

I think everybody can be a bit vapid sometimes, not everything has to be serious all the time. Maybe that’s why we’re on a gossip site? The thing is, she’s not just vapid, she’s seriously childish it seems. I can imagine hanging out with here and saying she needs to stop after an hour because she’s too much, like a child. Always ON and thinking she’s about that life when she’s ain’t shit really.

She’s one of the many bland models who run with real ‘top’ models such as Cara D., Jourdan D. et. al. and also have a famous BF. In a few years, we’ll have a new circle of these type of B-list models.

      • oneshot says:

yeah apparently now ‘models who are famous mainly for banging or being related to famous people’ is a trend.

Say what you will about Gisele, at least she had blue-chip status as a fashion model long before she acquired a famous bf. Kate Moss’ fashion icon status is all her and not the fact that she dated Johnny Depp (otherwise she’d have been irrelevant after 1995, which is clearly not the case). Naomi Campbell is a phone-throwing harridan but at least when I think of her the first association is HER face, not a famous bf’s.

  13. Lucybelle says:

    Dafuq??? What a weirdo.

  14. olly says:

    That header picture!!!

Did they try to turn her into JLO???

  15. TheOriginalKitten says:

    I wish I could un-read this.

  16. ell says:

re what do they talk about: people need to start facing the fact that maybe bcoop is just as void as she is. they talk about naming pimples, probably.

  17. Melanie says:

I’ve been trying to figure this relationship out(most people probably have) since it began. I want to believe that he wouldn’t be so easily influenced by someone like Leo. Or, so easily manipulated by someone like Harvey Weinstein, considering one of the theories floating around is that their relationship is fake and that Harvey arranged it. After reading many interviews with Bradley, he comes across as a smart, humble, sweet and hard-working guy. I also think he’s a great actor. This relationship just seems so out of character for him.

  18. Beckysuz says:

I don’t really care about her, but I’m obsessed with the dog she’s walking…it’s soooo fluffy!!!!

  19. qwerty says:

    U WOT M8

  20. Cindy says:

I won’t read the whole interview, excerpts were bad enough. She sounds like a child.

  21. roxy750 says:

    Uhhhh, er, ok.

  22. oneshot says:

ugh this Suki Stackhouse womanchild, would she even get any magazine covers if she wasn’t known as Bcoop’s Lolita-reading gf?

I don’t know how legit her ‘acting career’ is, but her face is PERFECT for robbing banks, she wouldn’t even need the standard ski mask because it’s just that forgettable.

  23. I Choose Me says:

    Yeah, um . . . yeah.

  24. Grace says:

I think she’s adorable….for a 16 year old girl. She’s stunning physically in my opinion and cute as a button in personality. I see can see how Coopster thinks she’s hot because she is. But what the heck do they talk about???? I can only assume that he is highly immature in many ways or maybe fearful of getting older. Who knows? Weird.

  25. Michele says:

I don’t get the hype over this boring chick. She sleeps in Bradley Cooper’s bed once in a while. End of it.

  26. Jojar Pinks says:

what a gross dullard she is.

  27. DaysandNightsonair says:

Perhaps she is trying to position herself as an action movies actress?

  28. shelleyz says:

I like Suki’s freshness, but I don’t see her particularly talented. She and Bradley make a good pairing because I think he sees her as her Pygmalion, and he’s in love with her young craziness.

  29. Me44 says:

And People magazine just posted that they split up.
