Here are some photos of the family Kardashian-West putting on a united front for some reason at LAX yesterday. Usually, Kim Kardashian, North West and Kanye do not fly together. He’ll fly ahead of his wife and daughter and the girls will come to whatever city a few days later. Huh. According to E! News, the whole Kardashian clan is heading to Armenia! Robert Kardashian Sr. was Armenian-American, and the Kardashian ladies are half-Armenian. An insider told E!: “Visiting Armenia has been on Kim’s bucket list forever. They are all so excited! They want to learn about their heritage.” I have no idea what Kim is wearing either – it seems like she went with simple jeans and a tank, but then added a floor-length coat? Was that really necessary?
I ignored this Sunday’s episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, because it seems like it was just more of Kim’s fertility drama. Let me be clear: if Kim is having legitimate problems getting pregnant, I totally sympathize. But it does feel like this is “her storyline” and it’s being publicized so heavily so Kim can just get a surrogate.
Here’s another Kimye story – remember back in 2013, when Kanye West went crazy on a paparazzo named Daniel Ramos? Go here to see the photos of the assault. Kanye was exiting LAX and Ramos apparently shouted some questions at Kanye, and Kanye tried to grab Ramos’ camera and ‘Ye sort of put Ramos in a headlock. It didn’t look like either man sustained much in the way of injury, but Kanye still pled no contest to misdemeanor battery in criminal court, and Ramos still sued ‘Ye in civil court. Well, Kanye finally settled the case, just a week before they were supposed to show up in court. We don’t know how much Kanye paid to Ramos, but we do know a handshake and an apology from Kanye was involved.

Btw they spend way more time with her and she looks way more comfortable with them now. I have a theory that they just didn’t like having a crying infant who didn’t do much “cute stuff” to take pictures of. They’ll probably be obsessed with her through her toddler/little kid years then ignore her again when she’s 10ish until she’s out of her awkward phase.
run, that’s actually something that crossed my mind as well that the more self sufficient she is the more they’ll like having her around … but as a body language expert was saying specifically about Kim and North That baby is probably not going to bond well with her mom period. since kids that little bond with the people taking care of those pesky annoying needs kids have like diaper changes, feeding baths night wake ups etc

Yeah, this is something I’m not going to rag on. I’m a bit nerdy with genealogy, and we’ve traced ours back quite a way. I’d love to do one of those genetic testing kits where you do the swab and send it away, and get more of an idea of what other groups of people you’re related to, because we only traced one small part of our family back really well. I just find it super interesting.
Other than that, North is super cute. Kanye tends to look so much less like an idiot when he’s holding that little girl.

Erinn, did you see the CBC Marketplace episode from this past Friday? They were doing a review of the genealogy kits you can purchase in Canada. In Canada, the laws aren’t on Canadians sides when it comes to the test results – your employer and insurance company can use the results against you (there is a senator who is trying to change this law to have it be in Canadian citizens favour). They also had a guy do several of the kits, and each kit had different results. There are no strict guidelines these companies have to follow for their test results.

Even if it’s not, and it’s all for filming, I think it’s a good idea to raise awareness of the atrocities committed in the Armenian genocide. That’s probably why they’re going. We’re coming up on the Anniversary.

Has anyone noticed that North seems to be wearing more colour in her clothing? It is almost as if someone from the Kardashian camp has been reading the comments on the various sites. When there were comments about Kim not being seen with her daughter all of a sudden, there are pap photos of Kim with North. As for Kim’s long coat maybe she has the beginnings of a baby bump? Then she can announce to In Touch and the world she is having her “miracle baby” It all comes done to money and ratings for this family

I don’t think so. The Kardashians have actually always been pretty serious about their Armenian heritage and have always spoken about the genocide. For example when Lamar was going to play in Turkey during the lockout, Kim didn’t think that would be appropriate and Khloe agreed based on all that their family (and Armenians) had gone through so in the end Lamar didn’t play in Turkey.
Maybe little North is rebelling against all the black.
O they definitely have someone reading the blogs. People talked about North not wearing color, her parents not taking her to kid friendly places and look now North in color and going to dance class and parks.
Another example is when people wete talking about Kim and Kanye not spending time together or being with North and we got happy family photos.
Those were only two examples once you catch on you start noticing the pattern.That’s how they stay in the media they know how to get people to keep talking about them.

part of the reason her face looks so weird with those lips (not that the lips aren’t freaky enough) is that her nose is now too short/small for her face. the space between her nose and upper lip is too big.
it’s why people go overboard with the surgeries…they do one feature, but then it doesn’t match the rest of the natural features, so they keep tweaking until they look like a mannequin (or worse).
That with the face contouring she thinks she invited when it was already in in the 50’s.

Yes I also noticed this and that’s exactly the cause. It is ever since the post-baby nose job she had when she dyed her long hair blondish golden-brown. Big mistake – HUGE!

@ Kitten and Hunter … she has had philtrum surgery. She had it lengthened. Look at her old pix and you’ll see that space is very short/sparse. That’s what she had done. And it doesn’t good at all IMO. Haven’t seen her smile in many months. Not that I give a hang, lol.

There is video of them arriving in Armenia. There were crowds of people waiting for them and cheering. They had a lot of media greeting them as well. I wonder if E producers set that all up. They were treated like dignitaries. That really disgusts me. The funny thing is they were only changing Kim’s name and not Khloe’s. Are the people of Armenia really proud of Kim? I mean do they really want her representing them? She doesn’t know anything about her heritage. She’s just doing this for pr. Why not quietly go? Why make it a spectacle??? What has she done to make them so proud?

Everytime a celebrity comes to Croatia it’s all over the news. I doubt most people carwe, but when you’re from a country that isn’t that well known media attention these ceelbrities bring is good.
I mean, cool, but what are they actually gonna do there? Sit in the hotel? I hope if they’re going “for North” that they do actually learn about the culture and take some tours and stuff.
Meanwhile, my parents (practical people who never made it official) got married in Italy last year. We got to to go the tiny town in Tuscany my family came from up in the mountains. We even made friends, and they led us to the home our family built in the 1700s. It had our name and family crest on it, and was so gorgeous. As we took photos, the new owner came out kind of confused and we explained we’re American and our family built the house. He let us in, and showed us all the work he’s doing to restore the villa. I was overwhelmed and totally got teary-eyed. How many people get to do that?!

She is morphing into a camel. The distance between her nose and lips is so large.
Camels are my favorite desert dwelling creatures, and that’s all I can see when I look at her.

My theory is that she did, indeed, bleach her hair but then it was really damaged so she started wearing a wig. That would explain the difference between the original yellowy color (bleach) and then the whiter-blonde color (the wig that sat too low on her forehead).

I’m not a fan of either one! There’s a photo of Kanye holding North (wait for it)… She’s reaching for Kim. She actually takes the baby?! North is a beautiful little girl and I believe they’ve taught her to make faces to the paps, the same ones they pay to travel with them. The paps are probably playing with her and making faces to put her at ease. I’m betting she knows them. This is being filmed for the show, at least that’s what I read.
According to Dr. Lillian Glass North does not seem attached to either parent. She commented on the fact that this little girl is always pushing away from them and always has a frown on her face around them. I believe her as well. KanYe thought he knew best about his kid wearing color because he thinks he is so much smarter than any experts. He was wrong again and he should dress that kid in bright colors and they need to smile around that kid more. That’s all I got. I am pretty sure this is all for the show since all but Kendall are going. Why would Kylie or Kris come when they have zero Armenian blood? It is all for show.
Nori has definitely appeared more comfortable with Kanye for the past few months. She seems to relax when he’s carrying her. She still looks stressed when carried by Kim, look for the clenched fist in the Easter pics that Glass pointed out long ago in Kim/Nori pics as a sign of great stress in the baby. She looks stressed but does not turn into Kim for comfort, instead pushes away and looks toward someone else off camera. (Kourtney’s child Penelope did the same when Kim was carrying her for a dance class pap pic). Kim tries to pose to make it seem as though she’s bonded, but it just doesn’t work if you pay closer attention. I don’t think the paps are scaring Nori at all, there are generally few of them and her mother calls the same ones. Look at that video when Kim forgot about her and Nori was standing staring at the paps. She wasn’t afraid.
Kim probably is trying to improve the pap pics by spending time around Nori, but judging from that unauthorized video glimpse we saw a while back- her idea of spending time with Nori is to just let the kid and her nanny hang out nearby. She just isn’t interested in the kid except as a prop. That won’t be enough to form a bond although it will help reduce stranger-danger stress reactions. It’s not impossible to bond even though other people are doing the diapering and feeding, even parents physically unable to do that manage to bond.
I really think Kim doesn’t like Nori and the kid picks that up. Kim is pathologically self-absorbed and expected a more compliant accessory child. Instead she gets a real baby with real needs that doesn’t perform on command and can’t be dragged to events without increasing protest from the tired kid. Kim is just as flat with other people (and seems equally unbonded with Kourtney’s children, in contrast to her sister Khloe), she displays negative emotions easily but looks happiest only when she’s the full focus of attention (such as in her naked magazine pics). Kim really needs intensive therapy, but I don’t know if she realizes it. She doesn’t seem like a basically happy person and will not age well.
I also wonder if Nori is more comfortable with Kanye because, crazy though he is, he shows real emotions. Kim seems so lacking in normal emotions. She is just dead in the eyes, even when looking at her baby. Usually parents have a certain look in their eye when they look at their little ones in most circumstances, and I never see that in Kim. She seems annoyed at best. I doubt that things will improve as Nori gets older, unless the child decides to become the compliant puppet desired. Maybe once the kid reaches bribing age, things will be better.

Is it bad that I find that story a little hilarious? Obviously it’s not at all funny for a father to call his baby ugly. But I’m just picturing a Chinese version of Kim K– scarily plastic and doll-like– giving birth to a normal looking baby. Kim’s pants went through the same blender as the pants Kanye wore to church on Easter, I see. Adorable North seems very comfy with her Daddy. Too bad that they didn’t save their pilgrimage until North is old enough to understand. I took my daughter to Ireland to see where we came from, and it was wonderful to trace our roots…..but she was a teenager, and got a lot out of it. A two year old, not so much. BUT, it’s nice to see North included on a trip with the parents.
Nori won’t remember anything, it’s just another airplane ride like all the rest they’ve dragged her on. They would have to wait about 8 years before she would really get much out of such a trip and have permanent memories. Before then, at best she might have a few snatches of memories after about age five or six. We traveled in Canada for a week or two when I was about 8 years old. The only thing I remember is one of those small portable food cookers/heaters with a big candle or something like that, on the side of a road where I suppose we had stopped to eat picnic style. Can’t even remember what we ate. O, Canada!
The coat is probably to cover up the fact that her pants are so tight her zipper is bulging open. Seriously the only time your zipper bulges like that is when the material is stretched so tightly the piece that covers the zippers “pops” open. Damn girl get some bigger pants.
And she’s about to sit on a 15 hour flight ! Also, where’s the nanny? I know she must be going to Armenia with them.
As always, just another publicity stunt to remain relevant. I want to see how “well-received” she will be when she arrives. Will she expect the whole country to turn out for her arrival?

Of course it’s all about attention with this family. How did all those people know to be waiting at the airport and outside the hotel to cheer them on? It seems super staged.
Pay attention to faces in the crowd in photographs/videos to see if there are a lot of repeats, meaning people were hired as Armenian extras. That’s a trick the US military used in Iraq, they hired a bunch of guys who traveled together (actually caught on camera by Spanish TV) and they were always front and center in the enthusiastic “crowds” while a bunch of confused people who wandered into the scene (once definitely because free rations were promised) made up the rest. People caught on to it by examining the photographs.
Yeah I agree. The Kardashians are not famous in other parts of the world. They certainly are not famous in Europe. I don’t believe they would get such a huge crowd in Amermenia on their own. They probably set up this ‘crowd’ in advance to look like they are actually famous around the world lol!

Ahahaha. I think a lot of us are reading into these photos way way way too much. I dont want to defend her because I always seem to be doing that even though I dont like any of them (North is adorable) but its a snapshot in her life. These photos literally account for 4 seconds in their lives. Id love for someone to follow one of us regular people around and take random shots and then analyze our lives, thoughts, emotions and worth based on that 1 second of existence.
