Are Jessica Alba and Cash Warren trying for another baby? They are according to the National Enquirer (article via PR Inside), who has a “source” close to the couple claiming that Jess and Cash are “working overtime” to get pregnant again.
Jessica gave birth to baby Honor Marie last June, following one of the biggest, sneakiest shotgun weddings ever. Obviously, whether Jessica and Cash are trying to get pregnant is none of my business. But of course I’m going to chime in. Cash has never seemed that reliable, and Jessica is the breadwinner of the family. Considering that the girl can’t really act, she might want to just get in as many film roles as possible before people get tired of her blinking-masquerading-as-emotion. PR Inside has more:
New mum Jessica Alba loves motherhood so much, she’s reportedly trying for second baby with husband Cash Warren.
The couple welcomed daughter Honor Marie into the world last June (08), and Alba has taken to the role of full time parent.
She has revealed in the past she wants more than one kid, and insiders claim she has put her career on hold to try and conceive in 2009.
A source tells the National Enquirer, “Jessica and Cash are working overtime to get pregnant. She and Cash are boasting that they love being parents and are determined to expand their family as soon as possible.”

Note by Celebitchy: According to The National Enquirer, Alba wants to get pregnant again before Honor’s first birthday on June 7 and is hoping for another girl. She also wants to continue working throughout her pregnancy but wants to work less overall. Their insider is quoted as saying, “she’d be happy making only one movie a year for the next five years to help her and Cash achieve their goal of having at least four kids.”

I can think of far worse things than to “keep trying to have a baby with Jessica Alba”.
This article seems to critisise for criticism’s sake.
This should be a positive article, they are obv happy together and keen to expand their family – why the tone? I sway congrats and good luck to them.

How does the National Enquirer know this?? How many people announce they’re “actively trying to get pregnant”. C’mon.
It does seem Jessica is more invested in the relationship than Cash. I think he married her reluctantly because of her pregnancy and family pressure. Her hot bod IS her career, so I don’t think her career will prosper if she has more babies. She seems really happy, though, and is obviously gaga over her kid, so good luck to her.
Um, ferber, that comment makes NO SENSE at all…you say her career won’t prosper if she has more babies…look at Angelina Ho-lie…she was just voted #1 “yummy mummy” and how many has she spit out?

I think Cash wanted the wife and family, though. Probably sooner than she did. She’s got a Roman Catholic background, so I figure they were always going to marry eventually anyway.
She doesn’t suck that bad as an actress, but she isn’t exceptional either. It’s just that her looks, in the eyes of many, surpass her talent. I think she hasn’t really hit her acting stride but isn’t as bad as she gets criticised as being.
Actually, she can have a long career. I mean, no one thought Keanu Reeves would have a long one either and I always think he and Jessica get the same kind of criticism, for pretty much the same reasons.
Also, giving Honor a sibling now would make sense.
Shorty40, I actually don’t think Alba is in the same league as Jolie. I think of Alba as more a part of the starlet set, the ones with killer bods and minimal acting skills. So I’m ranking her with Meagan Fox and that set. Jolie won an Oscar, is a political activist, an admired charity worker, a gossip icon, etc. Yes, it’s sexist, but unless Alba is able to compete with the hotties, I believe her future career is limited. Unless, of course, she proves to be a serious actress, talented comedienne, etc. But so far she hasn’t revealed any hidden talents. I do wish her the best, though.

Alba’s a bad actress. My husband and I winced every time she opened her mouth to say something in “Fantastic Four.”
I have to agree with J. Ferber that Alba’s part of the starlet set. Pretty face and a nice body. MINIMUM acting skills.
Maybe she’ll realize this and become a clothing designer or a jewelry designer like other talentless hacks (cough, Posh Spice, cough, Nicole Richie, cough cough).
