Kendall Jenner managed to stick with the theme at last night’s Met Gala, but her look seemed off somehow. This beaded, green Calvin Klein dress came with all the attention-grabbing trimmings of a Kardashian-esque red carpet ensemble. Girlfriend just couldn’t help but flash a little sideboob to balance out the conservative, collared top of the dress. She’s a gorgeous girl, but I’d love to see Kendall change up her hair instead of always turning to the flat iron. An updo and bolder makeup, perhaps? Kendall’s also looking pretty frozen and Botoxy. She’s only 19 years old but has that permanently “surprised” expression like she can’t move her face. That’s the Kardashian-Jenner way.
Amanda Seyfried looked stunning in this Givenchy couture gown with a halter neck, translucent skirt, and ornate leaf embellishment around the bodice and hip area. Without the extra stylistic details, this dress could have looked too bridal, but it works. She brought Justin Long as her date. They look so happy together.
Keri Russell‘s dress was a mess. Peacock-colored feathers on top and a faux-scale skirt. This look wouldn’t have been half bad without the feathers.
John Legend looked dapper with Chrissy Teigen, who wore St. John but didn’t dress for the theme. Do the flowers in her hair count?
Maggie Gyllenhaal wore an ill-fitting, white Roland Mouret gown with blue and orange colorblocking and a boob-cutout. Poor Maggie never nails it.

As far as Maggie… This is going to come off really mean. And I’m sorry. But I’ve always found her to be a rather unfortunate-looking woman, and the style choices she makes do nothing to help her. The hair cut, the dress, all of it. Maggie, you could do better.
Did Kendall get implants? I think her boobs were smaller.

The side-boob looks natural-ish to me, but it’s defiantly possible considering her roots. Or maybe it’s just makeup 😉
They look too round to me, considering that she is braless. Its hard to find something natural to the Kardashians. Maybe they are squeezed from the dress.
That was my first thought, too, that they were too round to be natural. Also, that dress would have been stunning without the side boobage.
She’s 19….boobs at that age look and hold well, has great shape. I think it’s natural.
I think Maggie is gorgeous, and her fashion sense is endearing.
I like Maggie. I think we’ve just forgotten what people without fake body parts and jacked up faces look like. Her hair is her signature, and she’s got a very interesting face. Maybe not gorgeous, but definitely attractive.
@Franca and Josephine, Maggie certainly does have an interesting face. That’s undeniable. It’s just not my taste in faces, I guess. I’ve just never found her attractive, personally. Sorry if I offended with my choice in words, “unfortunate looking” was probably not the best way to put it.

I loved her look in Mona Lisa Smile. Beautiful yet interesting. I’ve always hated her pixie cut and girlfriend could seriously use a bra.
I’m not offended at all – what’s attractive is so subjective and personal. Maybe it’s because I’m older, but I find people who look healthy, natural, and comfortable in their own skin are so appealing, and that describes so few people at the Met Ball. I would never wear anything Maggie wears, but I do think she has a bit of her own chic going on. and have always found her appealing.
I agree on Maggie. I like her a lot, she seems like a nice person and is a great actress, but I’ve never found her particularly attractive. I always thought she made very poor fashion choices, too. But I think that just makes her cooler – she’s never sold herself as Hollywood’s hottest thing or a fashion icon. She’s just herself.
I despise Amanda Seyfried’s dress, blech. I like Kendall Jenner’s dress, but the green was a little blah and organic, might be better in a more saturated color, with a different hair style or make-up, or maybe a FREAKIN EXPRESSION on her face might help. Don’t like the birdman costume, and Maggie’s dress in pulling the girls way down.
I actually think Keri Russell’s dress is beautiful and interesting. I could see FKA Twigs wearing it too.

I love Keri and I don’t totally hate the dress but there was a weird gathering of feathers below her waist that gave her the illusion of a feather FUPA–it just wasn’t flattering. Too bad because she almost pulled it off. I also think that Keri isn’t great at posing and maybe someone like Rihanna could have made that dress look better.
Also, it has to be noted that feathers are not good just like fur is not good.
I’m put off by enormous use of feathers because I like birds. That said, even if it didn’t bother me, I don’t think the use of feathers worked. The bottom of the dress is pretty tho.
I actually really like hers too, but I hope they are fake feathers.

Keri’s dress is amazing.
Kendall’s beautiful. And I LOVE that she keeps her makeup simple. I just want to get her as far away from Kim’s style advice as possible. I see her leaning toward the orangey foundation. Kendall, stay away from the Botox and smile, for chrissakes.
And Chrissy is just all good news. Beautiful woman, beautiful look, and she just looks happy and like she’d be a blast to know.
I also think Kendall is beautiful. She looks good with simple makeup, if she wore it heavily, everyone would put her down. I hope she stays like Kourtney, away from ruining her face.
I guess I’m alone here but I LOVE Kendall’s dress. I agree that her makeup could be slightly bolder/dramatic and maybe something different with her hair, but I seriously want her dress.
It’s a great dress. I think what everyone is trying to say is that somehow she isn’t doing it justice.
I love the fabric. The style is OK. Agree with Kiddo – someone with great presence could have rocked it.
I like the idea of the dress, but the styling is off in my opinion. It looks like it was made for someone else and they slapped it on her at the last minute.
What I can’t believe is that she models. Her face is so plain, blank and boring. I don’t get beautiful at all from her – more like mall-girl pretty enough.

@Josephine – you’re right, Kendall doesn’t really look memorable in any way, and it’s nothing to do with her features – Karlie Kloss is equally plain to look at but has much more presence and expressiveness in photoshoots/runway work.
Maggie’s dress is neither pretty nor edgy. You could buy it at the mall.

Other than being tall & very thin I’m not understanding the Kendall thing. She’s definitely not supermodel level. Her mom-smiling expression always looks like she just smelled some expired milk.
I don’t think the dullness is Botox but lack mental activity – maybe she wasn’t a genius to begin with, but poor education, superficial upbringing and a starvation diet triggering depression are likely factors as well.
Kendall would be one of those cut from ANTM because they can’t grasp how to convey presence and character. Picture Tyra getting exasperated trying to give Kendall lessons in how models need to act and convey moods, not just stand there being symmetric!

Am I the only one who thinks Maggie needs a bra or at very least some boobies tape? At some point women need to come to terms with the realities or their breasts…. she just looks so saggy, and I know she’s had children, but they make smoke and mirrors for that issue for a reason.

Ugh. I thought Kendall looked gorgeous last night. The cut outs were perfectly balanced with the rest of the dress an not as showy as the trifecta of tacky. If this was any other occasion, I’d say she hit it out of the park. The color looked gorgeous against her skin and her body looked beautiful.
Was it kind of understated against the other bolder looks of the night? Absolutely. But to me she still looked lovely.

Kendall looks very pretty. So unlike the rest of her try-hard clan on red carpets. She’s a model, so a little side boob is just another day at the office.

Love Amanda Seyfried’s dress. Love her anyway. She can do no wrong and super cool she’s with Justin Long. They seem like a great match. Keri Russell’s dress is not flattering. The poorly placed feathers create a pouch belly where there is definitely none. She has an awesome body but you can’t tell in that dress. Maggie never styles herself in a way that flatters her body. Her clothing choices don’t lay right and her constantl lack of breast support continues to disappoint. I can appreciate a natural body (no surgical enhancement), but saggy boobs or underboob are unattractive no matter what. Kendall is pretty and the dress is gorgeous. She just looks a lot older than 19. She actually looks like Sandra Bullock in the top pic.

Maggie’s and Kerri Russell’s gowns are some of my favorite gowns of the evening. Finally, Maggie doesn’t look look like a “don’t”
Some advice to Maggie Gyllenhaal, first wear a bra or at least support your girls. Second, grow that awful haircut. Her style is hopeless, so I’m not gonna say anything on that *sigh*
I like Kendall’s dress but I’m sick and tired of that hairstyle and make-up! Flat-ironed and parted hair in the middle plus nude make up = typical, boring, Kardashian. Add botox to that, and you get one 5 Kardashian-Jenner girls who are starting to look all alike.
I love the dress and think kendall is beautiful.. but she definitely has had some work done; very subtle, but apparent to those in the know. Lips, nose, breast and a lil sculpting to create more curvaceous look. She has a naturally athletic build. With all the surgery kylie has had, kendall’s can be more under the radar as her alterations have not been done all at once.
