Amber is promoting her new tongue-in-cheek guide to life, How to Be a Bad Bitch. The cover looks very Harlequin-y and NSFW, but you can see it here. Amber had a chat with Cosmo about her burgeoning bitchdom. She talks about a turning point when she stopped caring so much what people thought. I suspect Amber’s talking about when she started calling out Tyga for dating underage Kylie Jenner. Amber spoke from experience after being exploited at Kylie’s age. She was also taking a stand against her ex, Kanye West, who completely approves of the Tyga-Kylie coupling. Kanye retaliated by saying he needed several showers after dating Amber, who won the argument with class because Kanye slut-shamed her out of bitterness.
Amber and Kanye avoided each other last weekend at a pool party. Now Amber is talking to Cosmo about how she’s stronger these days. She’s no longer subservient to a certain someone. Amber’s also discovered her feminist edge:
Her popularity after the Kanye feud: “I went from 1.2 million [Instagram followers] to 5.5 million in a couple months. I think the turning point was when I just stopped giving a f*** about what people say. One day, I just woke up and I was like, ‘You know what? I can’t sit around and stress anymore about the Internet and what people say about me. I just gotta do me.'”
She understands feminism now: “I was always about girl power, but I didn’t quite get it because I did always feel like I had to be completely submissive to a man. I was always very unhappy doing that. I think I needed time to grow up. You get to a certain point in your life where you really find out who you are, and sometimes that happens when you’re 25, but for me, it was 31. I didn’t quite know that before. I guess social media did help create the feminist monster that I’ve become.”
She started stripping at 15: “I was very, very young. I did it and I was like, ‘Oh, hell no, I cannot do this.’ I was a kid. I think I was still a virgin at the time. Being onstage with my boobs out, it was like, ‘Oh my god, this is not for me.'” By 18, though, she had gotten more comfortable with herself and stripped until she was 25. “That was the best time of my life! Oh my god, I had so much fun. I really did. All the girls were really cool. I was young, beautiful, I was onstage, I wasn’t really ashamed of my body. I made lifelong friends.”
She gets up at 6:30 am & spends all her time with Bash: “I don’t even want to have sex. I really don’t! I’m just so focused on my son and my work and everything that I’m trying to do. I just don’t even wanna be bothered.”

Amber also talks about sort of dating Machine Gun Kelly, but she hopes to get back with Wiz Khalifa before their divorce is final. That part of the discussion is sketchy, but I like what she says about feminism. So many women honestly don’t know what the word means. I’m glad Amber educated herself and can now speak up. Yes, she was totally talking about Kanye when she talked about having to be subservient.

Why is this woman famous?
I really don’t get it. She does basically the same thing that Kim does (maybe even worse at times) but doesn’t get the backlash. OK, she was a stripper at 15, had a hard life and so on. But she’s made enough money where she could be doing “better”, but she chooses not to. So how exactly is she better than Kim?
Right, because she’s Kim’s “nemesis” and everybody hates Kim, so everybody loves Amber. I really don’t see how they’re that different.

Amber is trash, no better than a Kartrashian. Ever since she split she has been as fame-hoey as them all, and focusing on all of her ass shots on instagram and twerking and fighting on twitter. She was better off when she was a mystery.
Say what you want with Amber Rose, but I happen to like her very much. She was no better than Kim but she did show maturity at age 31 than Kim who doesn’t ever know how to spell Maturity, and Kim is soon going on 35 and behaves like a little spoilt brat. I may not agree with Amber Rose choices but I am lead to believe that she is trying to become a phenomenal woman. So shout out to you Amber.
I agree with you Kiki. Amber looks very natural (no surgery, lipo, botox and so on) and she dresses For herself, not only to please men. Also: The shaved head. No woman who only seeks approval from men shaves her head. She is brave and seems honest.
I find Amber Rose very appealing because she’s honest. She isn’t afraid to talk about how her feelings and attitudes have changed over the years and why. Khloe K and the Kardashian fakery didn’t have a chance when Khloe went on the attack against Amber Rose, who really had just expressed kind concern for Kylie. Honest and real wins.
It’s obvious that Kanye is a major control freak, even though she doesn’t share much about him. Getting away from him was an important change for her. Kim K is very used to being controlled by her mother and isn’t very deep, so she probably isn’t bothered so much by Kanye’s control-freaky ways, but I predict major blow ups when Nori approaches her teens….
She has such a pretty face it is almost perfect! I love what she said about growing into feminism. Nothing wrong with her brain that’s for sure, she seems like a pretty smart woman. Good luck to her.
Perhaps it was the way the interview was published or only what I read on this site. But I’m not sure how you can go from, ‘I wake up and spend all my time with my son and don’t even think about sex’, in one sentence. It just wrong in so many ways. That is all.

It’s so funny to me how much people love h r just because they think she is somehow better than a Kardashian. She is the exact same. I actually like Amber Rose. She seems in tune with her emotions and appreciates herself. I support that. When someone hears “stripper” they go straight for the negative. It is an interesting business and I agree there is a stigma attached, but I don’t think there is anything wrong with it if a woman chooses to strip and wants to do. If she’s forced into it, that’s different. She seems like she’s having fun and enjoying her life.
And! What she said about Tyga is true. He is absolutely filthy. I’m sorry and shame on Kris Jenner for allowing her kid to sleep with that man and post the things she does to her Insta page. Ugh. There are not enough can’ts to express how I feel about that situation. Truly. There is a huge part of me that deep down wants something bad to happen to this relationship… I know that’s mean, but it’s true. When Kylie is on their show she always seems to shy and like a child, very child like. I am 26 and I think to myself what it would be like even dating a 20 year old and it’s just not there, but 17!!!!????? I agree with you. I don’t think they are intimate but I think Tyga is waiting for the right time for Kylie to turn 18 to have sex with her. And everyone should give Kris and Caitlyn Jenner a very hard time about how they are raising their last child Kylie. And don’t worry, type is every hip hop rapper when it comes to women, impregnate and then throw you away and calling you a “bitch and a hoe”. What makes me more mad, is that Kanye West approves them. That is why I don’t like Kanye and Kim West. So Amber is right to call Tyga out by calling him a scumbag. But all I am really waiting for, is the Kim,Kanye and rest of the Kardashians-Jenner clan to fall apart, piece by piece, so that Amber Rose can raise herself to the rooftops.

Agreed, Tacos and TV! I do think that Caitlyn Jenner deserves to have some of the blame here, too. Where the heck is this girl’s father? And I don’t just mean right now .. but the last few years.. Kylie Jenner seems so lost, from the few things I’ve read on here.
I, too, love Amber. She is fierce. I will be buying How to be a Bad Bitch because I assume it’s full of irony and a fun read. I think she’s so beautiful and I love her new eyebrows. I’d rather be reading about Amber than Kim. I won’t buy Kim’s asinine Selfies book. What’s new? Every day in her life is only a new selfie opportunity, nothing more. Amber seems like a lot of fun and I’d love to be at a party where she is. In a way Amber reminds me of Pink with her badass attitude and ways.
